Hey so this is a new chapter, hope you like it. Please review it means the world to me. And yes I do see people reading this story even though they say nothing.
Chapter 10: The decision.
Bea was aware of what was going on around her, but she did not have the strength to go on. At least not anymore, the one person she wanted there was not there, he had walked out. She knew that Oliver was there, she could feel his hand on hers. But for her it was not enough, what does she have to live for, the man she called father was a murderer, the man she saw as her brother was in on the whole scheme and the man she loved walked out on her.
From where Oliver sat he could hear her heartbeat going slower and slower, he shook his head and stood up, he stood over her and whispered to her "Bea, I will get him back I promise, you just hold on now" he then stood up and walked out, he was going to get Quintin back in that room, even if it was only to say goodbye to Bea. He walked to the cafeteria and saw that he was sitting alone at a table with a cup of coffee in his hands, he walked to him and sat down looking at him.
"Detective, you have to get back in there, I know it is hard, really I know, but her making it depends on you as well" he said and then took the mans hand, "She is strong and a fighter, I know that because I have seen her fight, but without you, she has no will to fight" he says and then he stands up again and walks out of the hospital, he was not going to stay, he would rather hear the news from someone than see her die.
Quintin frowned and listened to the man speaking to him, he took in every word, and when he left Quintin stood up and left his cup of coffee there walking back to Bea's room. He knew this was going to be hard, he did not want to go through it again, he had lost Sarah, and he knew he would not make it if he lost Bea. When he entered the room he saw Laurel was there, he gave her a small smile and a hug before going to Bea's bed, he sat down and took her hand. "I am here Bea, and I will never leave again"he says.
Laurel had decided to stay with her father, she knew he would need her more than she needed him. She prayed that Bea would make it, she likes the way that Bea made her father laugh and feel, and she does not want him to loose that. He had fallen asleep about an hour ago, and she could feel herself wanting to fall asleep, she was just about to close her eyes when she heard a gasp, she sprang up from the chair and saw that Bea's eyes was open, she ran out and called a doctor.
Bea knew she had to make a decision, she could live or die it was up to her. But she thought about all the things she will be leaving behind, and all the things she will be getting in death. But she chose life over death. She knew that it was going to be hard, but she knew that she will be able to make it, especially if she had Quintin by her side. She then took the step to the door and not the light...
Bea gasped for air and she opened her eyes, she saw Laurel for a moment and then she saw the girl run out, she turned her head and looked at Quintin, she smiled and traced his face with her hand. And then she saw his eyes open and look at her, first you could see confusion in his eyes, then shock and then happiness. She smiled at him. And when he smiled back she knew everything was going to be okay.
