Ash's POV
I woke up with a headache; the only thing I remembered was passing out in front the Tv. Dawn must've put me on my bed, Serena probably helped too. I got up to check on both of them, turns out they're both knocked out cold on the couch. I guess they were watching back to back episodes of Vampire Diaries. They both loved the show to death, I got slapped once for saying it sucks balls and a waste of time. They're both crazy about vampires, werewolves, and all those types of things that teen girls love. I just don't see it though. Anyways, the time was 8:15 and I didn't want to wake them wake them up so I grabbed my jacket and headed for the grocery store outside. I figured I needed bit of fresh air, and the weather was beautiful, sunny, and warm with a nice summer breeze. I noticed how amazing the scenery was here at Porta, considering all the regions I've visited this was the best by far. Hoenn came close, but not close enough. The people around were friendly and chill. The children were playing with their Pokemon, one even had their Pokemon play fight with scratch and tackle. The grocery store here was huge too! So many different people from so many different regions. It really was amazing, it reminded me of Pallet town to be honest. Anyways, I picked up some eggs, bread, fresh Apples and Oranges, Milk, and Jalapeño Peppers, cause I know Serena would kill me if i didn't pick up some. I came back back home around nine, and started to make a few Omelet sandwiches for the three of us. They were still sleeping, snoring lightly even. By the time I was done I had three Omelet sandwiches set up with a glass of chocolate milk, and sliced oranges and apples on the side. I woke up the two, they were surprised, got a hug from each of them. *Smirk* i didn't realize how calm and relaxed I was, for the first time ever i was; Ash Ketchum, calm and relaxed instead of all jittery, fidgety and excited.
" Ash that was amazing " said Serena
" Thanks! Took some time to put it together "
" No, but really it tastes really good "
" Yeah what she said " Dawn said with a muffled voice
" When did you get time to this anyway? "
" I woke up pretty early and I didn't want to wake you up so I went out shopping groceries "
" Aren't you the sweetest guy " Dawn exclaimed
" It was a nice change from just training to be honest "
I went training after this, I was going to get a second and third badge within the next 4 days. The two gyms are in the same town for some reason, but like whatever. the faster I get my badges the faster I'll become a pokemon master.
** 4 days later ***
" This will be a 2 Pokemon battle "
As the battles went on. I started to realize the gym leader's strategy. So after I defeated him, and gained the badge I headed over to Serena, but there she was... sitting on one of the several park benches in the gym. She wasn't alone. His eyes, were as cold as ice. His face was stern, yet so relaxed. He looked so familiar... like some one I was close too. He looked like some one I knew. No, like some one I know. He wore a green long sleeve henley shirt, and dark blue skinny jeans. He had some sort of necklace or chain. The work ''Oak'' written on it's medallion. Pain started to creep through my head by than... * Pound. Pound. Pound. * It hurt... I could feel darkness trying to take over. Then I felt like i was being lifted away, l was light headed and it felt horrible. I was hit with a flash of memories, it lasted 3 seconds at most. I didn't remember a single thing, I just know it happened. I could hear shouts coming from all across me. * Thump * I must've hit the ground... Everything's fading, turning pitch black. There was nothing. Nothing at all.
