Still the same day. Yet again, Marcy won't be shown off to the rest of the town until she isn't sick, well besides the vet.

Brian was cleared to return to class, even though he had turned into a Pachirisu. The class looked at the squirrel. Kaylee gasped.

"It's so adorable!" She yelled.

"Awww..." Brian replied. "Thanks."

"And it can talk!" Kaylee said, then squealing.

Brian felt kinda happy.

"Whether you believe what I am saying I can't control, but that's Brian." The nurse dropping him off noted. "He's been transformed. Don't know how or why, but he did." Brian was sat at a desk, quickly jumping up to the top of it in order to be able to use the paper. Writing was a bit more of a challenge when the pencil is two-thirds your size, but Brian seemed to manage. The class was math, so there was more on the table than normal. Milena, the one next to them, decided to offer to put some school supplies up on the table so Brian didn't have to take them up somehow. Brian asked for his calculator, thanking Milena. Milena said that it was no problem. The paperwork was simple algebra, an introduction to variables. Brian had a bit of trouble with it, mostly distracted with his new form. He began to think. What was he going to do? He took a few breaths, looking over the math. He screamed internally. He squeaked externally. He got an awwww. That's all that got him. He is still all pent up. He went and grabbed a phone to calm down with, and found out it was just pent up electricity, the squirrel charging the phone that he was holding. This calmed him down some, as the energy was quite literally leaving his body. Once re-calmed down, he got back to work. After getting his paperwork done, he wasn't sure what to do. Normally he'd try and get a cat-nap in, but he wasn't tired.

After the class was over, Brian hopped down, realizing the worst bit about being so small. He wasn't very noticable. Someone could step on him. However, since most freshman were going to the same place, he just grabbed Kaylee's lower leg and hitched a ride. Kaylee didn't notice at first, but didn't seem to mind when she did. This repeated for the next couple of classes, lunch being up next. There was now the issue of getting the lunch that he had packed to the cafeteria. He had managed to flag Helen, who looked at the creature.

"Oh, well aren't you cute!" Helen said. Brian was embarrassed, stammering a bit.

"You must be new." Helen said after the Pachirisu started blushing. "I'm Helen. Need help with that?"

Brian nodded. Helen picked him up, allowing him to enter the combination, which he was proud that he had remembered. He grabbed the lunch bag, or at least tried. Giving that it was a reusable one with some pockets, Helen offered to carry it with him in it to the cafeteria. Brian nodded, so that's what they did.

"You want to sit with my friends?" Helen asked. "Or do you have friends?"

"Not many... One's home sick." Brian said. "And then there's only one other."

"Well maybe you can invite them over too. We're a small group ourselves." Helen replied. Brian scampered off to go do that, soon coming back with Milena. Helen had told Josh and Chamomile about the duo, neither of which seemed to mind.

"Well hello there!" Chamomile said, sitting with her friends today. She was told she could sit with the girls at any time, as Chamomile didn't seem to fit anywhere, but Josh and Helen were better friends, in the regards of knowing her better. This prompted Chamomile to sit here like she was right now.

"Hi..." Milena said.

"Oh its just us..." Helen replied. "You don't have to be shy about it."

Milena seemed mildly scared, just due to how shy she was. She sat and petted Brian a bit to calm down. Brian minded this, but decided to keep his mouth shut since Milena seemed all anxious about the other students she was with.

Josh waved, saying nothing. The group remained silent for a few moments, before Milena spoke up.

"Thanks for inviting me..." She said very quietly. The two anthros picked it up, but Josh didn't. Helen passed the message along.

"You're fine." Josh replied, smiling. "You've got nowhere else to go anyways."

Brian nodded.

"You know how you turned?" Chamomile asked.

"I have no idea..." Brian replied.

"That's gotta suck." Chamomile replied. "At least you should know how you turned after all."

"Any side effects?" Helen asked. "Transformation wrecked my legs, have to let them recover a bit."

"I've got all this electricity to let out..." Brian replied. "I can't focus if it builds up too much."

"Could be put to use." Helen replied. "Unsure of what though..."

Brian smiled a tiny bit.

"We'll try and help you there." Josh replied. "Welcome to the club I guess."

Brian hopped up to Helen, asking if he could tell a secret.

"Oh, what is it?" Helen whispered.

He mentioned how Avery, now Elicorde had transformed as well. Milena didn't know yet, so he didn't want to have that known to her yet. Helen liked the idea of another fire-type. Josh whispered to ask what it was, Helen asking if she could tell her trio about the new anthro. Brian didn't seem to mind, on the condition that she's welcome to sit alongside the five of them. Helen nodded, telling Josh and Chamomile about the new anthro.

Milena asked what they were whispering about.

"Oh it's nothing..." Chamomile replied. "You'll find out on your own..."

Milena seemed worried.

"Just calm down kid." Josh replied. "We're gonna tell you when we feel its time to. Or just show you, depends."

Milena nodded, looking at Brian.

"I just don't want you to know yet..." Brian replied. "I mean it's hard enough for me to know..." Brian hugged Milena's arm.

"Well..." Milena said."If you want to wait a bit... I guess I have no choice in the matter."

Brian nodded.

"Anyways." Josh said. "How have you been?"

"Lonely." Milena said. "Avery and Brian are my only friends..."

"That's not true!" Chamomile said. "You've got us now!"

"That is true I guess..." Milena replied.

Brian nodded. "We're not alone anymore Milena. We've got them now."

"Should we trust them?" Milena whispered to Brian. Brian nodded.

"They're all we have." Brian whispered back. "Besides each other of course..."

Milena reluctantly accepted the explanation.

"What to talk about now?" Milena asked.

"Well um..." Josh replied. "You're new here, right?" Milena nodded.

"Well welcome to Ashen High then." Helen said.

"Yeah that." Josh replied. Milena thanked them for the welcome.

The group continued to eat lunch, Brian having a bit of trouble handling the spoon half the size of him. He felt too sure that he could do it himself to ask for help, even though he could probably use it. Milena offered to help, concerned a tiny bit, but Brian said he was fine, so she backed off about it.

The group continued to eat their respective lunches. The electricity being slowly let off warmed up Brian's applesauce a bit. It was negligible to a human, but Brian's new sensitive senses picked up on it. It was also easier to notice giving it took him longer to eat.

"So kid." Josh asked. "Think your family's gonna take this well?"

"Oh right..." Brian said, a bit worried. "Um..."

"They're bound to not mind. It wasn't your fault." Helen said. "Or at least that's what my parents said."

"Oh?" Brian asked.

"Yeah. You're a hapless victim in this situation." Helen said. "I mean face it, do you really even like this form?"

"Not too much..." Brian replied.

"See?" Helen replied. "You don't even like being a Pokemon. Why would you do that intentionally?"

Brian nodded. "My little sister might like me a bit too much though..."

"How old is she?" Chamomile asked.

"Five." Brian replied.

"Ah." Helen said, an obviously fake grin on her face. She took a deep breath. "Yeah, that might not be good."

"What do you mean?" Brian asked.

"Aren't little ones a bit rough on pets?" Helen asked.

'I don't know... We've never had a Pokemon in the house." Brian replied.

"Ah." Helen said. "Be careful about that then. Might hug too tight or something."

Brian seemed scared. Milena comforted him a bit.

"It's going to be okay." Milena said to the Pachirisu. It smiled back at her, saddened.

Soon after this, lunch was over, the two groups going their separate ways, Milena this time helping out Brian with his things. The rest of the school day came and went, Brian having to leave a class for a sec because he had started to spark from having too much electricity in his system. He'd have to figure out something to do, maybe a capacitor or something. His parents would have to take him to an electrician possibly. However, he had arrived back home, Milena breaking the news to his parents.

"Oh?" Brian's father, Richard, asked. Milena nodded, stating that nobody knew how it happened.

"That's not good..." Richard had replied, he seemed visibly upset.

"Is there something wrong Mr. Calhoun?" Milena asked.

"It's just that..." Richard replied. "My wife, his mother, passed only a year ago, and now this? It's a lot to deal with..."

"Oh." Milena replied. "I'm sorry about that."

"He's still in here right?" Richard asked. "Can't that sort of stuff change the person on the inside too?"

"I-I-I'm still in here dad..." Brian said quietly. Milena handed the Pachirisu to his father so they could sort things out inside.

"Just call my mother if you need anything." Milena replied. "I can be over most likely."

Brian nodded. Milena began to walk home, as Richard and his son went inside.

"Hey uh dad?" Brian asked once they were inside.

"What is is Brian?" Richard asked. "There something wrong?"

"I'm just not tired anymore..." Brian said. "It's all this electricity, it's too much..."

"Well of course, all that energy's new for you." Richard replied. "I'm sure it's fine."

"No, like..." Brian replied. "I started to spark in my one class. I'm making too much..."

"Oh?' Richard said. "I'm sure we can get that checked out if you want." Brian nodded.

"Then so be it. Want to go to the Pokemon Center now or?" Richard asked.

"That'll be nice Dad." Brian said.

"Plus." Richard replied. "I'll be able to get you a Pokeball, so nobody steals you."

"Oh right..." Brian said. "You won't keep me in it long will you?"

"Only as long as it takes to make it yours." Richard replied. The father then set off to the Pokemon Center of the town, seeking to give his transformed son a check-up.
