So here it is...tada...the new chapter. I'm sorry that it took me so long to update and sorry again because it's such a short chapter. I'm trying to built up to the chapter that some of you are probably waiting for. ;)

I made my way home after I finished my assignment for drama, which Mr. Whitlock gave me like the last second. I didn't see Alice anywhere so I just assumed that she would be at home waiting for me. When I walked in I could see Rose coming from the kitchen. "Hey Rose, is Alice home yet?" I asked her and hung my jacket on the rack.

"Shouldn't you know? I mean you have seen her at school." Rose answered and gave me a quick hello hug.

"I stayed behind since I had some stuff to do for drama." I told her and walked over towards the kitchen.

"Oh, well I haven't seen her yet." Rose said surprise evident in her voice. "Actually I don't think that anyone is home." As if to make sure of that she looked around the room.

"I see."

"Was there something that you needed or did you just wanted to swoon over Alice?" She asked me with a smirk on her face, due to my current state I didn't think it was funny.

"Very funny. Alice actually pulled a little stunt today, which wasn't funny at all." I answered her and by my tone she could tell that I was serious.

"Before or after you stopped ignoring her?" I was so surprised that I looked at her wide eyed

"She told you about that?" I asked her in disbelieve. Why would she do that?

"She asked me if something was wrong and if you told me anything." She shrugged her shoulders and took some water out of the fridge; she handed me a bottle.

"She didn't have to bother." I said as if it was only an irrelevant thing.

"If it's not that than what did she do?" Rose asked and sat down on a chair.

"Alice had to teach gym today and she decided that it would be hilarious to put Jake and Edward in the opposing teams." I explained "They were so competitive that barley anyone but them got to play. Alice thought that it was amusing." I looked up to see a smile forming on Rosalie's face.

"Bella don't you get it?" She asked me and I just shook my head in response. "I would have found it to my amusing as well. Seeing two boys fight over the affection of a women and especially if said women is dating you."

"I still don't think it's funny at all." I said and crossed my arms in front of my chest.

"Oh come off it." I looked at her bewildered. "You have played with their feelings more than anyone else." She looked at me with her "cut the crap" stare and I gave a sigh.

"I know." I threw my arms in the air. "I really wish they would find another object to fight over. I should so set them up." I said and Rose chuckled.

"Good luck with that. Oh look who just came in." I turned around to see Alice walking towards us with a smile on her face.

"Hello, what are you doing?" She tried to give me kiss but I turned my head so that she only got my cheek. I gave her a disapproving glance.

"Talking about feelings and that you shouldn't play with them."

"I know but it was just too funny Bella. I just couldn't help myself." A grin stretched out on her face.

"That doesn't make it right." I tell her and take a sip of my water, Rose watching our interaction intently.

"Baby, please don't pout." Alice said and pulled me into her arms.

"I'll leave you guys to it; just make sure that no one sees you." As Rose was about to get up Esme walked into the kitchen.

"Too late." Alice and I jumped apart like we've just been burned.

"Mom!" Alice screeched.

"Hello darling, be glad it was only me." She gave Alice a hug.

"We'll be more careful." Alice just answered like a little girl that just got a lecture from their parents; well it's a little true.

"Now that I've got you girls together; we should talk about thanksgiving." Esme said and sat down next to Rose while opening her planer.

"I've wanted to talk to you about that as well. We'll be 9 people this year." I closed my eyes when I heard Rose say that, here we go.

"9?" Alice asked confused and looked at me with suspicion.

"Yes, us of course and the Blacks." Rose answered as if it was the most natural thing on earth.

"As in Jacob Black?" I could tell by Alice's voice that she already knew the answer.

"His dad is friends with mine; they join us every year for dinner." Rose answered her and shrugged her shoulders.

"Wonderful." I heard Alice whisper; she turned around on her heels and left the kitchen. I could hear her go upstairs. Esme was about to get up when I stopped her with my hand.

"Let me go after her." I tell her and walk towards the stairs not before I heard Rose whisper.

"Jake is Bella's ex."

"I see. Seems like you and me will plan the dinner alone."

xXx

When I got to my room I slowly opened the door; Alice was standing by the window, hugging herself. She didn't turn around when I closed the door behind me.

"Is that true?" She just asked me, her voice barley above a whisper. I took a deep breath.

"Yes, ever since I got here we always had the thanksgiving dinner together." She turned her head a little to look at me.

"So I really have to spend the dinner watching Jacob giving you lusting looks? He is always looking at you like he can see trough your clothes or something." She said.

"Nothing he hasn't seen before." I mumbled under my breath only to realize seconds later that she must have heard me, judging by her facial expression.

"What did you just say?"

"I …uh." I stammered, trying to find the right words not to upset her more.

"Did you sleep with him?" She finally asked me; I met her hard gaze.

"Alice, that's not important." I tried to reason with her.

"Did you?" She asked me again. I avoided my eyes.

"Yes." I answered her quietly.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I could tell by her voice that she was hurt.

"Because it isn't important, not to me." I answered truthfully and shrugged my shoulders.

"Bella he took your virginity." Oh crap!

"Right." I said and looked everywhere but her.

"Wait! Are you freaking serious?" I flinched a little at her words.

"It was before Edward went to Germany." I said my eyes pleading her to stop being mad at me. "I'm telling you that it doesn't mean anything." I said again. "You probably haven't told me about all your guys." I tried to defend myself.

"There was only one and I did tell you about it." She said with hurt in her tone.

"Alice, please. I'm 18 years old. Do you really think that someone my age is just making out?" I asked her.

"Oh I'm sorry." She said and walked towards the door ready to walk away from me. I stopped her with my hand on her wrist.

"Please don't be that way."

"You don't get it. I wanted our first time to be special." She looked at me and I could see tears glistening in her eyes.

"It will be. You know why? Because it will be our first time together."

"I know that. I was …I was just surprised." I gave her a chuckle.

"I couldn't tell Alice." She started to smile at me.

"Shut up." She told me and was about to turn away when I pulled her by her wrist into my arms and smashed our lips together.

After we made out a little more we talked about my relationship with both Edward and Jake; I tried to make her see that there was nothing she should worry about. Alice agreed that she acted a little to fast and that she would try to be cooler about it. The next opportunity for her to prove herself didn't take long. Thanksgiving was right around the corner and I must say that I was more than nervous how that would go.

"You must be Billy." Esme asked him when they showed up as promised for the dinner.

"That would be me. It's nice to meet you." He answered her with a friendly smile. I always liked Billy. He was the one I always went to when I wanted to talk about my dad. Billy two had lost someone very dear to him, his wife. So I always felt like I could talk to him.

"You as well and you must be Jacob." Still with a smile plastered on her face she extended her hand towards Jake.

"Just Jake please." He asked, which was the usual first line when somebody said his full name.

"Jake it is then." Esme beamed at him.

"Jake." I exclaimed when I walked down the stairs to greet him.

"Hey Bella." Jake gave me one of his bone crushing hugs but suddenly let go of me. "Ms. Brandon, good to see you again." He said and when I turned around I saw Alice standing behind us watching. Before you could actually tell what was going through her mind she smiled.

"Same here Jacob, good game." She said and the smile never left her lips. If you knew her better you could tell that she really tried not to give him the death glare.

"Yeah; I kicked your butt Bella." He said and scratched his neck.

"Oh whatever. I wasn't even playing." I answered and rolled my eyes at him.

"Just because Mason tried to beat us alone." Jake always spat Edward's name so that wasn't new for me but I could see Alice raise her eyebrow.

"Like you were any better than him." I told him and punched his shoulder playful.

"I won." He said with his boyish grin.

"So childish." I mumbled under my breath.

"You guys come and have dinner with the rest of the family." Esme stood in the door towards the dinning room tapping her foot impatiently.

"After you Bella." Jake said with a smirk, which was whipped off his face when he saw Alice staring at him. Of course Jake sat down next to me which only left a free space opposite of me for Alice. I must say that I was impressed by her self-control; I know that if she could have acted how she wanted she would have killed Jake more than ones. All through dinner Jake talked to me about school, sports and other stuff. Ones he actually asked me if we could go out again, when I suddenly heard the splintering of glass. I looked up to see that Alice had broken the wineglass into two. I looked at her shocked but she was only shooting daggers at Jake. Rose helped clean up the mess while giving me and Alice a warning glance not to act so obvious. After dinner was finally done everyone started to walk into the living room.

"Let's watch the game." I heard my uncle say; I looked around for Rose so that we could make sure that none of this would happen again during the game but she was nowhere to be found.

"What's wrong with your TV?" I heard Billy asked and turned around to see that the screen was covered in white and black dots.

"I have no clue." My uncle said and pushed some buttons on the remote.

"We could always watch it at the Blacks." Rose said next to me, which made me jump since I hadn't seen her anywhere before.

"I'll get the truck ready." Jim said and hurried over to get everything ready for the departure.

"I'll guess we can take our car." Carlisle said to Esme and grabbed his keys from the board.

"Bella? You want to ride with us?" I heard Jake ask me.

"I'm actually not coming along. I don't feel to well; I'm going to go and lay down." I could see the disappointment in Jake's eyes but when his father called for him he just gave me a quick hug and was off. I watched everybody getting ready to leave.

"Where is Alice?" Esme asked and looked questionably at me; I shrugged my shoulders because I hadn't noticed, until now that she was gone.

"She told me she has tests to grade." Rose said and grabbed her jacket. When everyone cleared out she was the last one to stay behind. Before I could ask her what was going on she said: "You own me, big time." With that she left the house, leaving me standing in the entrance with a big smile on my face. Best cousin ever!

So what do you guys think? Isn't Rose the best cousin ever? The stunt with the wineglass actaully happened to me once so I thought it would be funny to put it in. Let me know what you think. xoxo
