Chapter 12

A few months later...
"Bye Sue" said Simon while putting on his coat "Bye Sophia"
"Bye Simon" said Sue "Have a good time at work"
"I always have a good time at work" laughed Simon "The only bad thing is not seeing you two"
"Well yeah that's true" said Sue "I'm going to take Sophia out in her stroller today. Seems like a nice day"
"Yeah it is" said Simon while getting into the car "Bye!"

Sue's days were filled of sitting at home with her daughter. She would of preferred a bit more company but most of her family and friends were too busy at work.
"So Sophia" said Sue "We'll go to the park in the park later. Sounds fun doesn't it?"
Obviously Sophia didn't reply but she did gurgle with delight.
Just then the doorbell rang.
"Hmm wonder who that might be" said Sue while opening the door.
A woman, aged around 40 or even 45 was standing there with a suitcase. Sue had seen her before, but wasn't sure who she was.
"Hello" said Sue "How can I help?"
"So that's how you would welcome your auntie" said the woman.
Sue then realized who the woman was. It was her mother's younger sister; Julia. Sue hadn't seen her since she was a child. The last time she had saw her was at her mother's funeral.
"Oh Auntie Julia" said Sue "Nice to see you"
"Why am I not surprised that you forgot who I am" said Julia barging past Sue and into the house.

Sue closed the door behind her and walked into the living room with Julia.
"Take a seat" said Sue "Can I get you anything? Tea? Coffee?"
"Don't tell me what to do Sue" said Julia.
"Well Aunt Julia, It is good to see you who but why are you even here?" asked Sue.
"Well maybe because I got a new job in a private school near here" said Julia "I found out that you lived here and I'm staying here until I get myself a house"
"You are?" said Sue. She thought it was quite rude how Julia had planned to stay at her house without asking and after not seeing her for over 15 years.
"There's you acting all normal" said Julia "I haven't seen you since you were around 10, you still look the same. Ginger hair and scared face"
"Well thanks" shrugged Sue, she didn't want to get into a fight with her auntie.
"And what a big house you have" said Julia getting up walking around "Bet your daddy paid for it all. Not like tarty air stewardess could pay for all this"
"How did you know?" said Sue.
"Well I hear the rumours" said Julia "How disgraceful. How could you of possibly gotten such a stupid job? If my sister Elizabeth was still alive, she would be very disappointed!"
"Well I'm a science teacher now" said Sue.
"Well maybe only because your father knocked some sense into you!" said Julia "So which school are you working at?"
"Waterloo Road" said Sue.
"What? That rubbish comprehensive school!" said Julia.
"Yes but I'm on maternity leave right now" said Sue.
"What?!" said Julia "You have a baby?!"
"Yes a girl" said Sue pointing at the crib at the other side of the room "She's right over there, asleep"
"As I thought. Sleeping with random men and then keeping the babies" said Julia.
"I have a husband, I'm pretty sure my dad phoned you" said Sue "I did invite you to my wedding but you didn't come"
Sue wasn't surprised that Julia never came to her wedding. She never came to see Sue, Vix or any of their family. She occasionally phoned Robert (Sue's and Vix's dad) though.
"Yes because I have a life" said Julia "And what's your baby's name?"
"Sophia" said Sue.
"That's Elizabeth's middle name" said Julia with disgust.
"Well I thought you would of been happy about it" said Sue.
"It's your fault she died" said Julia "And you think this is a joke?!"
"I d-d-don't know what you're talking about" said Sue with tears coming out her eyes.
"Well I do!" shouted Julia.
