Angie P.O.V
Three figures were huddled in the farthest corner of the holding room. Judging by their skinny and pale frames, they must have been here for a while. One male and two females were holding a few cards and were sitting around a small pile of various items. They appeared to be playing a make-shift poker game. They all were wearing identical white jumpsuits that made them blend in with the walls surrounding them.
"W-who are you?" I whispered and pressed myself back against the pure, white wall.
"I should ask you the same question." The boy snapped at me. He had blue eyes and black hair, mush like Adam's but his eyes were softer, unlike the primal irises of my reptilian friend. His hair fell into a limp emo cut and framed his bone-white face. "What do you think, Trickster?"
The girl on his right lifted her head. Her hair was black like the boy's, but was a lot longer. It spilled down her small shoulders and lay on the floor around her. Her chocolate brown eyes held a faint shadow of mischief, unlike the boy's blatant expression of defiance. She smiled slightly and the mischievous light in her eyes reflected on the rest of her face.
"I don't know, Sonic." She replied. "She looks a little lost. Maybe we should help her." Her smile switched to a smirk.
"Quit scaring her guys!" the last female exclaimed. "Can't you see she's new here? Did you want to be treated like that when you first arrived here?"
The last girl to speak appeared to be the polar opposite of the first two teenagers. She had bright blonde hair and indigo eyes that sparkled with kindness. She stood up, walked over to me, and closely inspected my face.
"You really haven't been here long," She asked me. "Have you?"
I shook my head in response and she sighed knowingly. Apparently she had been here much longer than I had.
"I knew it." She said slowly. "Your skin is too tan and you have too much meat on your bones. We looked like that once. Before…"
"NATURE!" The boy called 'Sonic' interrupted her. "Are you really going to tell the newcomer about us?"
'Nature' blushed and looked down. She took her place back on the floor next to the other teens and did not speak another word.
"So," The black haired female spoke up. "Who are you? I've never seen you here before."
"I'm…" I trailed off. They never told me their real names. I could tell they didn't trust me, so why should I trust them? "My name is Amethyst."
"You have a last name, Amethyst?" The boy asked with sarcasm laced in his words.
"That depends." I snapped back. "Do you?"
The boy's eye widened in surprise and the girls echoed his expression. Clearly they didn't expect a short thing like me to have such a fighting spirit. He opened his mouth to reply, but was cut off by the sound of approaching footsteps.
"I think she's in here!" Phillip yelled from the other side of the door. "She might have made friends with the other prisoners."
At the words "other prisoners", my heart sank. I looked at the three teenagers before me and felt a small sympathetic look flicker across my face. It quickly disappeared as I hear the small whoosh of the door opening.
"There you are!" Luke exclaimed and grabbed me by my waist. "I was afraid that we lost you!"
I could hear his barely hidden anger in his falsely happy voice. I flinched slightly as I imagined what he would do to me because of my disobedience. I attempted to gather energy around myself, but I couldn't find the strength to. I guess all the running around and hiding from evil villains drained me.
"Out of ammo, Angie?" Phillip asked. "Shame. We're not."
I saw a few other guards enter the room and grab the three other prisoners. The black-haired boy male and female attempted to fight, while the blonde simply went with her guard.
"Stop!" I yelled. "Leave them alone! They didn't do anything!"
"No can do, sweetheart." Luke muttered in my ear. "Their room is going to be moved, since you so happened to stumble upon it."
"I'm sorry." I whispered to them.
The boy glared at me, the blonde smiled, and the other girl smirked at the guards.
"It's time for a nap, love." Luke whispered. "I'll see you in a little bit."
I felt a small pinch and the world began to blur. The last thing I saw was Alfred walking in and smirking at me.
Adam P.O.V
"Seriously?" Jeremy asked. "You couldn't have asked where they would be?"
I glared at him and then turned back to the small sidekick I had pinned against the lockers. Lash had the sidekick's best friend pinned as well.
"Since he refused to listen to reason," I growled out. "This was the only way to get the answer out of his fucking mouth." I slammed his body against the metal.
Lash smirked over at me and mimicked my actions.
"You would have made a kick-ass villain, Brisingr." He appraised. "With your scary demeanor and all."
I snarled in response and turned back to the sidekick in front of me.
"Now," I said in a deadly calm voice. "Tell me where they went."
The sidekick I was pinning down, Harry Faulkner, had the ability to locate any person he had ever met. Who knew that skill could have been so handy?
"Put me down!" Harry yelled. "I did not come to this school to be bullied by some lizard man!"
I barely registered Rose and Jeremy take in a small breath. Lizard Man? I'll show him a Lizard Man. I snarled and curled my lip slightly. I felt my eyes shifting to their more primal form and my canines elongated. Small streams of smoke wisped out of my nostrils and dissipated in the air.
"WAIT!" Harry yelled and flailed slightly. "I KNOW WHERE THEY ARE!"
I smirked and gently placed him on the ground. They always talk.
"Nicely done." Lash praised. "I'm impressed."
I motioned for Lash to release Harry's friend. I turned back to the small sidekick and waited. He closed his eyes and began to move his head around.
"Well," He said slowly. "They're nowhere near here. I can sense Phillip in the main Laboratory, but Angie is far away."
I smiled, thanked him, and slipped him a fifty for his troubles. Now I need to find Goodwill and ask him a few questions.
"Just don't hurt him too much, Adam." Jeremy pleaded with me.
"If he complies," I responded and walked to the lab. "I won't have to."
Rose huffed and caught up with me. She was forced to walk faster since my height and strength made me a fast walker.
"What are we gonna do once we find him?" She asked. "It's not like we can fully prove what he did. We're only working on hunches, here!"
"I'll fucking make him talk." I growled and smacked a fist into my open palm. "I don't fuck around."
Jeremy frowned at my vulgar choice of words, but knew better than to say anything. Smart boy.
Once I slammed open the doors to the lab, Phillip jumped and turned towards our group with eyes as wide as saucers. He scrambled to run out of the other door, but Rose melted it shut with a blast of lightning.
"What the hell?" He shouted and turned back to us. "What did you do that for?"
"We could ask you the same thing." Lash growled out.
I smirked. It sounded like my habits are rubbing off on him. Phillip sputtered and stammered, trying to convince us that he had no clue what we were talking about. I knew better. He was trying to save his own skin.
"Why would I take Angie?" He asked and lifted an eyebrow. "I have no grudge against her!"
Lash stretched over and slammed Phillip against a table.
"THEN WHY DID YOU TAKE HER?" He shouted and pushed Phillip down again. "SHE DID NOTHING TO YOU!"
Rose grabbed Lash's arm and pulled him away from the trembling teleporter. She whispered something to Phillip that sounded a bit like "douchebag", but I couldn't be sure.
"Look." He said and pulled himself to his feet. "I don't know where Angie is, but I'd be glad to help you find her."
"Like hell you will." I snarled and grabbed his shirt collar. "You know exactly where she is, and you're going to take us there."
Phillip smirked and lifted me up. What the hell? He was a telekinetic? How could we not know that?
"Put me the fuck down." I growled out and began to shift forms. My mood swings are going to kill someone today. "I'm in no fucking mood to put up with this shit. Just tell us where she is, get her for us, and we'll be on our merry way."
Phillip's smirk grew wider and he flung me through the large room. I knocked over several shelves and sent dozens of books tumbling to the floor. Once I removed a particular heavy set of Know the Hero in You, I heard a small shriek.
"Rose?" I called and climbed to my feet. I saw the 5'7 black-haired girl being hoisted into the air by Phillip's fist.
"Put me down," Rose shouted. "Asshole!"
Phillip smirked and disappeared in a puff of smoke.
I fell to my knees and let out a large burst of flame from my mouth. I roared in fury and punched my scaled fist through a re-enforced wall.
Phillip was gone. He probably took Rose to wherever Angie was, but I'll never be able to find them now.
But I can't give up.

"Unnngh." I groaned and lifted my head from the comfy pillow it was resting on.
I sat up straight and rubbed to sleep from my eyes. Since I am not a wonderful morning person, I took my sweet time in getting out of bed. I finally managed to outwit gravity and walk the ten feet from the bed into the bathroom.
After taking care of my, ahem, business, I managed to sneak a peek around me room. It was the same one I woke up in the first time I had arrived here. It still had its same white walls and boring white bed with white sheets.
Sheesh. Would it kill them to add a splash of color in here?
"Angie?" A knock sounded on the door and startled me out of my thoughts. "Are you in there?"
I snorted at the sound of Luke's voice. Of course I was in here, where else would I be? It's not like I can blast the door down again. I flopped back on the bed and pretended to be asleep. Once I heard the small whoosh of the door sliding open, I evened out my breathing and remained perfectly still. Luke let out a chuckle and threw something on the floor.
"I'll have to bring in another bed, but I'm sure she'll enjoy your company." He muttered to whatever he had brought inside. "Play nice."
Once the door slid shut, I leapt off the bed and gazed at the large lumpy bag in the middle of the pristine floor. My eyes widened as it moved slightly and I jumped from the bed to untie the string with trembling fingers. A familiar figure struggled out of the bag with electric-charged fists.
"WHERE IS THE BASTARD?" Rose shouted. "I WANNA TEAR HIS BALLS OFF, FEED THEM TO A PIG, AND THEN LET THE PIG EAT THE REST OF HIM!"
Rose jumped up and began to shoot lightning bolts at the door and walls. She succeeded in nothing more than a few scorch marks. Slowly, her anger drained out of her and she slumped to floor, defeated. After a few moments, she lifted her head again and finally registered who I was.
"Angie?" She asked incredulously. "Is that really you?"
As if asking me wasn't enough, Rose crawled over to me and began putting her hands all over my face.
"It really IS you!" She smiled widely and wrapped me up in a big hug.
"Can't….breathe…." I choked out and slowly felt myself turn blue. "Please….release…me…"
"OH!" She exclaimed and let go of me in a flash. "Sorry."
I nodded and gasped for air, trying to calm my racing heart. Once my breathing was back to normal, I turned to the raven-haired girl beside me.
"What are you doing here?" I asked.
She shrugged and muttered something about 'that bastard' and 'how he was going to pay with his life-blood'. I slowly backed away from her and her anger.
"All I know is that Phillip, that douche, grabbed me and brought me here." Rose answered. "Then, his grubby little twin, Luke, tied me up, put me in the bag, and dumped me here. I didn't see much of anything on my way, though."
"Welcome to Boring-Ville." I said in a sarcastic manner. "Population: Who gives a fuck?"
Rose smirked at my colorful word choice, but said nothing else about the matter.
I pulled my knees up to my chest as the long over-due panic began to set in. I was trapped in a strange place with people I don't really know, and even one of my strongest friends can't make a mark on the door.
What was going to happen to me? What was going to happen to Rose?
Sensing my discomfort, Rose pulled me into a hug and held me for the rest of the night as I quietly broke down.
Oh, Lash. Where are you?
