A/N: Look! I wasn't gone as long this time! Yay!

Only the story line and OCs are mine.

Pain, fear, anger, all of these were pumping through Toboe's mind the moment her eyes met those dangerously familiar orange orbs. Her teeth were clenched together, and her fingers dug into the skin around her wound. "You bastard." She growled, sweat ran down her neck, she was terrified of this man, this wolf hunter.

"Gotten a bit feisty haven't we?" He chuckled, and took a step forward but stopped when he saw a large grey wolf jump in front of his target, "Oh? Are you her protector something?"

"I don't care who you are, but you're not going to touch Toboe." He bared his teeth and narrowed his golden eyes. Blue crept behind him, helping Toboe stand, she held onto her the red headed girl's waist to keep her on her feet. Toboe never let her eyes leave her hunter's, she new that there was no way for her to beat him, but she wouldn't cower in fear either.

"Do you think you can honestly last in a fight with me? You're a bit different from how your profile described you, Tsuneo Hirogawa. A bit more heroic than your parents led me to believe." The black and white wolf shifted into a tall, buff man with golden blonde hair that was swept back away from his face. He wore a tight fitting black t-shirt that hugged his figure, leaving his chest no room for imagination, and a worn brown leather jacket. He also fashioned a pair of cargo pants and combat boots.

"How the hell do you know my name!?" Tsume snarled and shifted to his human form as well, his golden eyes swirled with anger. All the while, Renaldo's violet ones were completely stoic.

"I was sent after your hide as well, but Tomoe is a bigger catch than you, but, since both of you are here. I mine as well take in the both of you." He raised his hand and waved it, doing a weird hand sign. Toboe turned when she heard the ever familiar sound of a helicopter. There was no getting away from this, she could see that now.

"You're not going to take them." Hige stood beside Tsume, and put his hand on his friend's shoulder. Kiba took his other side, his blue eyes icy and cold.

"You're speaking as if you have a choice in the matter." Renaldo's eye twitched in annoyance. He looked up when the aircraft hovered above them, the wind ripped at their hair and clothes. A rope slithered out of the helicopter and a man zipped down it, landing next to Renaldo. He had chocolate brown hair that was very wavy, curling where ever it could. He was fairly tan and his eyes were hazel with golden flecks. The man was quite a bit smaller than the his towering companion. But was more around Kiba's size and build. He wore a similar outfit to Renaldo's save for the leather jacket and different colored t-shirts; his was white. He also had a holster attached to his right thigh with a handgun settled into it.

"Sir, we've been ordered to bring Subject Six back alive and to bring her in unconscious if possible." The hazel eyed man explained.

"July, use S." The man, July, nodded and pulled a small remote like box out of his pant's pocket. He pressed the large red button on it, causing a high pitched, screeching sound to permeate through the air. While July and Renaldo seemed unaffected by it, the wolves were a very different story. They were all attempting to drown out the sound by covering their ears. But it was futile, it was everywhere, there was no escaping the noise. Toboe had fallen away from Blue, as they had both covered their ears and let go of each other. She writhed on the ground, her face scrunched up and her teeth clenched together. Everyone had dropped her their knees, but then it suddenly stopped. Leaving them all disoriented and uneasy.

Renaldo walked past everyone and grabbed Toboe by the collar of her shirt, lifting her up to where her feet were off the ground, "You remember that noise don't you Tomoe?" She couldn't even focus on his face before she passed out.

"Sir, we shouldn't be here much longer, I don't want the helicopter to run out of fuel." July waved his hand at the air craft and a ladder rolled out of it.

"July, take Tomoe up, I'll grab the brave one." July nodded and went over to them. He threw the small girl over his shoulder then pulled his gun out of its holster and handed it to Renaldo. The violet eyed man took it and motioned for his subordinate to get into the helicopter. While he did that, the larger man went and stood behind Tsume, who was on his knees holding his head in his hands. "G'night brat." With that he slammed the butt of the gun into the back of Tsume's skull, causing his to slump forward unconscious.

Toboe's ears twitched at the sound of distant voices, she couldn't see, even when she opened her eyes. All she could smell was the heavy stench of anesthetic, and bleach. She was laying down, a cold surface pressed against her naked flesh. Her arms and legs were restrained, as well as her torso. She squirmed and wiggled, but stopped when the voices grew closer.

"Subject Six's vitals are fine, you're lucky July is such a good shot Ren." A feminine voice said.

"Oh shut the hell up. She's just lucky you gave us specific orders not to kill her." She recognized his voice, that damned hunter, "Otherwise she would be a bloody pile of meat out in the middle of that wasteland."

"So vulgar." She heard fabric rubbing against each other, and the scribbling of a pencil on paper. "What did you do with her friend? That golden eyed boy."

"Locked him up in a room with July. He woke up pretty rowdy when he didn't see this pest around." She heard him grunt.

"Well, she's certainly been a handful, to others as well as us apparently. I heard Mrs. Rie talking about it earlier." Toboe flinched at the name and knew she had given herself away.

"Oh, seems she's awake." The doctor realized.

"Get this damn blind fold off me." Toboe growled, and in no time at all she was glaring daggers at her hunter and a young doctor with a pretty face and small lips. Her hair was curly and red and her eyes a steely grey.

"Now, now, there's no need to be in a bad mood." She shook her head, "We haven't done anything, yet." She smirked at the last part.

"What are you going to do with Tsume?" Her eyes flickered over to Renaldo.

"Depends on what his parents want. If they tell me to kill him, I will." Toboe clenched her fists and pulled at her restrains once again. "Hey doc, I have an idea." The grey eyed girl raised an eyebrow, "How about testing that new drug and Tomoe here. Lets see how well she can fight." The girl smiled and turned away from him, and moved across the room to a small refrigerator. She took a small bottle of opaque liquid out of it and grabbed a syringe. She came back towards Toboe, whose eyes were wide. "This will only hurt a little."

"Where is Toboe!?" Tan fists slammed against a concrete wall, their knuckles were already bloody and bruised. Tsume wiped around and glared at the dark haired man sitting across the room. He knew him by the name of July, and also knew he worked with that hunter that caught him and Toboe.

"There is no one named Toboe. The girl with you is named Tomoe. Or as we know her here, Subject Six." July said with a straight face. He was now dressed in a white button down shirt with the sleeves rolled up and the first two buttons left undone. He also wore black dress pants and dress shoes. July also had a leather banded watch on his left wrist. His wavy chocolate colored hair curled behind his ears and hung a bit over his forehead.

"I don't care what you call her! Where is she!?" He growled. He didn't know how long he had been in this starch white room but, July had been in there ever since he woke up. Every so often he would put a hand to his ear and say a couple things, so it was safe to say he was being monitored. It was also safe to say there was no way of getting out of this room. There was no door, or any windows, there was a vent or two but they were to small for him to climb through.

Tsume watched July put his hand up to his ear again, "Yes sir." He whispered then looked at his golden eyes prisoner, "It seems you get to see Subject Six." Tsume gave him a confused look and almost jumped when the ceiling opened up and an elevator descended from it. There were only two passengers, the bastard that knocked him out and the girl he was looking for, Toboe herself. She was blindfolded and her hands were tied behind her back. When the elevator stopped, Renaldo pushed her off and July got onto it. "Have fun." The honey haired man chuckled.

When the two of them disappeared into the ceiling, Tsume rushed over to Toboe, who was lying on her side. He untied her hands and ripped the blind fold off. "Toboe? Are you alright? They didn't do anything to you right?" He asked, holding her face in his hands. When she didn't answer, he tapped her cheek softly, "Hey? Toboe?" Her eyes were unfocused and her pupils dilated. But her hands slowly rose and held onto his wrists, her grip almost hurt him. Her hands slowly slid up his arms and down his chest. She wrapped her arms around him and buried her face into his neck. "I'm glad you're alright." She murmured. He sighed in relief and hugged her into him, "But you should have kept me tied up." She whispered.
