PARTICIPATION.
He was not ignorant not to notice the tension that had settled between the younger members of his team for the last few days. Ever since someone had replaced the contents of Fitz's shampoo bottle with mayonnaise, and ever since each of them have declared war against each other, he swore that he has seen calmer days on the Bus.
He can tell that they were only getting a few hours of sleep at night, paranoid of what could happen in the hours that they're off to dream land. Skye keeps on dozing off while working on something on her laptop. Once, Triplett drank three Red Bulls in a day. Ward drank his coffee dark, without sugar. FitzSimmons napped frequently in the lab, with a lock on the door, of course.
Now matter how hard each of them tried, never did they catch the culprit who'd behind the prank redhanded. The only thing they'd manage to do, however, is to wrongly accuse Skye, almost every time.
"Okay guys, I admit it. I was the one who replaced the sugar in the cupboard with salt," the Hacker admitted that she was guilty of the incident that led to a rather salty morning coffee for Triplett, and Coulson, too. "But I am not responsible for the toothpaste prank."
Thankfully, May did not participate in any of the fiasco that's been going on. On the contrary, the pilot has been spending more time in the cockpit nowadays, if that could still be –
May's been spending too much time on the cockpit.
He hasn't seen her for days.
Immediately, he went over to the cockpit. "You're unbelievable," he said as he leaned against the entrance. He knows that she's smirking, even if her back's facing him.
Melinda May wouldn't let the amateurs have all the fun.
A/N - This was rather fun to write. A bit longer than I intended, but here ya go.
