"Shhh, keep your voice down, Buddy. Your mom and sister are still sleeping, I'll get you a snack in just a second, okay?" Finn says.

"You've got that right, you know, I don't think I ever properly thanked you for getting me to come to New York."
"You don't have to thank me, you did it all on your own, I know you did."
"I love you so much, you do know that right?"
Rachel giggles and kisses Finn's cheek. "Don't be silly, of course I know that."
"Good, should we go check up on the kids?"

"I think we both should."

"Just playin' cars, Daddy." Liam says as he contently drives his toy car down its track.

"I actually wanted to talk to you."
"Am I in trouble?"
"No, of course not, I just wanted to talk to you about school."
"Is something wrong?

"I know you did, I hated him for you."
"Do you think he is mad at me?"
"No, I don't think he is."
"Good."
"Okay, I think that's enough serious talk. You can go back to playing if you want to."
"No, it's okay I've missed you. You are always at work, but Mommy is always home."
"I know, I have missed you too. We'll do something soon, just the two of us, I promise."

"Really?"

"Yeah, and we will do whatever you want."
Liam smiles. "I'd like that."
