Of Crimson Butterfly's Dream
A Sesshomaru Fanfic
Based off the Manga series.
A/N: Please read!
Ok so I have several things to announce to all of you.
One, Please visit my site and deviant art page to download a newly released limited time only free download painting of Cho and Chikara! You can find it on the chapter page for this chapter and in the gallery!
Second: I've now added a online offline status to my page, so if you ever see it say online, that means I'm in the chat room, and I'm available to chat. You can ask me questions or just talk to me, cause I like to talk. You can also do the same with the shout box. I hope that if you do have questions that one day I'll get enough to even do a Q&A blog entry!
Three: I've added a commission's page! Under the contact me tab you will now find a sub-menu that will take you to my commission information page for artwork. I like to hope I have reasonable prices for art and payment is standard no matter page size. So please, if you want some anime done, just give me a shout
four: I noticed something about the Inuyasha universe. Time moves very strangely there, like, have you notice how Kagome seems to be a perpetual 15 year old, but by the time the series ends, she is studying for her high school entrance exams. I'm sure that somewhere it's sort of explained, but we don't even get another birthday except the one at the very beginning, when she gets the kappa hand from her grandfather. So, just so you know, sense this is a Fanfiction, and with that I have some liberties, Time is gonna flow a little strangely and aging is gonna go by naturally, starting with Kagome being 15. k!

Chapter 11
Sesshomaru lifted the woman's head forcing her mouth open so that the nervous horse half-breed could pour a liberal amount of the most foul smelling concoction this Sesshomaru had ever come across, and he had been around for a while. The woman made a gaging sound and turned, the inducer did just as it was made for and she began to empty the contents of her stomach.
Cho heaved and lurched spewing out everything that they had been spoon feeding her, and even the medicine that had kept her numb for the last five days. Among the foul smelling vomit there was a horde of slithering worms, and when her vision cleared enough to realize that she had just been released from the curse, she screamed.
Sesshomaru noticing that the cursed worm had well, multiplied he reached out just as his hands turned a sickly green and coated the area where she was spewing with his own venom. Melting Jinenji's floor boards in the process along with everything else including her own bodily fluids that had been pooling on the ground.
Jinenji had cleared to the other side of the room with shock that the demon lord had that sort of ability this whole time, though the great lord had not needed to use it at any point till now. Cho stared at nothing her body still felt weak and she was still teetering side to side as she was. The last five days had been nothing more then a fog of pain and deliriousness. But she did recall a few times, a warm but firm embrace, she wondered where that had come from.
A Woman had entered the hut and gasped loudly, she was fairly short in comparison to the half-breed that tried to cover the horrid site of Sesshomaru melting his floor, by standing in the way, she had a burn scare across her face. She waved her hand trying to clear his fear even though she glanced nervously at the demon lord who didn't seem to care. Of course he didn't care, Cho thought, he never cares.
Cho proceeded to stand, her body almost flailing to one side, Sesshomaru growled at her, she glared in his direction, "shut up," she said and forced her legs straight, even as her head swam.
Jinenji and the woman turned to her surprised, "please you shouldn't stand!" the giant, half-breed pleaded with Cho.
"no, I have to go to Totosai, have still have to give him the dragon fangs," she said.
Jinenji placed heavy hands on her shoulders and shoved forcing Cho to bend at her knees till she went to the ground. She would have put up more of a fight but she still felt to weak, to weak to do anything.
The woman was at her other side now and smiling, "I've helped Natsuko and Jinenji tend you for the last five days, Please don't let there hard work go to waste," she whispered softly.
Cho just nodded and sat back down but, she refused to lay down, deep down there was a reminder of the same warmth spreading through her body, when she was forced to lie still. Shaking her head she squinted her eyes trying to focus through both the haze of her illness and the natural blurriness that was her eyesight. She missed her glasses.
It was just then that Rin ran into the room shouting, "Chonee-chan!" the child squealed throwing herself into Cho's lap as her eyes filled with big wet tears.
Cho ran her fingers through her hair a small smile spreading across her face, "Rin..." she said softly.
Another woman leaned in sheepishly and ducked her head, "forgive me, she got away from me..." she whispered.
She had a feeling Sesshomaru may-hap given her a dirty look as she skittered away quickly. She had to give it to the scared faced woman, she didn't flinch much from Sesshomaru's looks, but that might be because, if what she says was true, she had been around for awhile.
"I was so scared Chonee-chan, I thought you would die, these evil foxes cursed you, that's what they said, and then they killed granny! And kidnapped me! Chikara came to save me, but, Chikara hasn't come back!" she said.
Cho's eyes widened, what had happen since she had been out, and who was granny, and why had her fox gone off to fight demons...he couldn't possibly be able to stand up against a demon...he was a fox for god-sakes, and alibino!
"What are you talking about Rin...Chikara not coming back...how did he save you..." Cho whispered around a horse voice.
This far up close Cho could see rin's face more clearly, her big brown eyes widened as if Cho didn't know the answer to that surprised her. "Chonee-chan...Chikara is just like Lord Sesshomaru, he turned into a really pretty demon, and made it snow! Chikara distracted the fox's while Master Jaken and Lady Suzuran helped me escape" Rin explained.
Cho pushed the child aside and forced herself to her feet again, even as Jinenji and the woman went to stop her. Cho shoved hard against Jinenji even though the result was her falling in the other direction instead.
"You can't, you have to rest," the woman insisted, Cho glared at her.
The storm in her eyes alive again, battered and bruised still a arm broken and hanging from a sling and her ribs wrapped tightly to bind the wounds there. Cho was far from trying to move like she was, but, she wasn't going to let it stop her. The curse worm had gotten the best of her, but if it had not been for that, she would have been on her feet the next day after her battle with the dragon to continue her journey with the demon lord.
Sesshomaru remained silent through most of the conversation and the human woman and half-breed insisting she stay and rest. He wasn't going to argue with Cho and stood, just as she was falling again he clasped her with his one arm under the arm and steadied her on her feet again. She didn't even glance at him, he wondered if it hurt her pride at all to appear even weaker in his presence, that in itself had it's own satisfying taste in his mouth.
"I haven't stopped since I got here, I appreciate all you have done for me, but I have to keep moving..." Cho said and jerked her arm away from Sesshomaru.
The woman sighed and left the hut only to return just as quickly with a crudely made crutch. Cho took it with out any words and used it to hobble out the hut at an incredibly slow pace. Suzuran saw her exiting and shouting in shock.
"Cho-sama what are you doing! You need rest!" she shrieked.
Cho glanced down at her, "The next person that tells me to lie down and rest, I'm shoving this crutch so far up there ass they'll taste wood for weeks," Cho whispered venomously and continued to hobble, even Jaken swallowed at the look of coldness coming from Cho.
Cho made her way to AnUn and patted the dragons on the nose, "you'll take me to Chikara, right," she whispered.
Sesshomaru had followed the woman out and he wondered just how far could she get on her own. Now that the cursed worm was gone, the pain that he had been forced to feel, wasn't so powerful it could effect him anymore. Her current injuries while annoying to him, were dulling as they healed. Though, it was easier to ignore the broken arm...since well...he didn't have that arm anyways.
The woman was now trying to hop onto the back of the dragon's back. AnUn was happy to help using his head to give her a lift and push her onto the large saddle on his back. Once Cho was situated she looked at Sesshomaru who stood there staring at her.
"you coming or not," she commented arching a brow, "Chikara bought you time, now you can go kill the shits yourself," she added. She couldn't possibly hope to kill them in her state, even if she wished it.
Rin up as well, climbing onto AnUn and sat behind Cho with a determined face, Cho didn't say anything, and it didn't look like Sesshomaru intended to instruct her otherwise. Feeling defeated the Two imps also joined them on the back of the dragon before he took off. Leading the way deep into the forest.
~C~
Matching the pace of the demon lord at travel, it didn't take nearly as long the first trip around to find the cursed foxes hide out. On arrival to the place it was to everyone's surprise at the site that greeted them the barren ash covered landscape was far colder then the rest of the Autumn weather, it was like they stepped right into winter.
All around them the snow was falling heavily and from the center of a tree a giant blossom of ice glittered in the light of the now setting sun. all around the trails of ice marked the path of Chikara's attacks and the scorched ground marked the path of the fox woman. Cho slide off the dragon's back and searched the area, first she examined the ice blossom. Brushing away the frost she peered inside. She saw the fox female trapped, but with a gaping hole in her chest and a shard of ice deep inside the rest of the ice, tinted red. It seemed that the blossom of ice bloomed there.
Sesshomaru watched on from a far, he didn't sense the boys aura and knew, that the battle had not ended well for the child. He recalled that night before they entered the human village.
Chikara lifted his head again once he was sure his point had been made to the demon lord and stared at him. Sesshomaru could see the child was thinking, he seemed to want to voice something but didn't know how.
"What is it you want," Sesshomaru demanded.
The fox child flinched slightly till finally he nodded, "Thank you," he said at first, "for saving us I mean, the first time, and all the times after...I'm sorry, if I've mislead you, in some way great lord...but...well...," the fox child said bowing his head slightly.
"I wasn't mislead, I knew from the start, it is not me that you will need to apologize to," Sesshomaru responded.
Chikara shook his head, "I know that, but, I don't want her to know the truth, not just yet...not at all if it could be avoided," he said twirling his paw into the dirt.
"how long, before she notices you do not age and you only grow in size," he questioned the fox.
Chikara closed his eyes and grinned the best he could as a fox, "human's are fascinating that way, they don't notice subtle changes in the one's closet to them,"
Sesshomaru glanced at Rin, and uttered a quiet "hn..."
There he was, the young fox child, a demon who at one time held a similar status of rank to this lord Sesshomaru. However, so rare this demon child was to be born a true albino creature, that his followers would hope to have never seen him ascend to power, for fear of his physical weaknesses would be there downfall.
Now the fox lay cradled in his own shelter of deadly ice spires. He had passed, it appeared, from the series wounds he suffered, including the single shard that protruded from his chest. Likely cause of death was the fox bleed out, as it appeared his cradle was fairly filled with the life giving liquid.
It was just a few seconds more when Rin and Suzuran spotted the same cradle of ice, and the scream from the child alerted the woman. Rin ran to Sesshomaru's side and wrapped her small arms around his legs, not wanting to see Chikara's current state anymore then the woman probably did. Was it a blessing in this moment that she couldn't see, even as she was hobbling over to the cradle.
Suzuran was at her side just as quickly and with a mighty swing of her dagger she cleaved the ice shards that appeared meant to protect his body till they arrived. Cho waited little time as she sank to her knees leaning over the cradle to run a gentle hand over his cheek. The first sound he heard from her since arrival was a quiet cough.
He could smell the salt in the air from both human women, Cho was crying as was Rin, but Rin had been expected. Cho wrapped her arms around the fox's body hoisting him out the cradle of ice as she slid onto the edge to sit and wrap her arms tightly around him. Her sobs shook her whole body, but she never was louder then the occasional hiccup. It was a silent grief, and that in itself, was painful to watch.
Rin looked up at Sesshomaru with big brown watery eyes, and he knew what she was thinking of, but he had no desire to help the woman. Cho's hand brushed the silver hair from the fox's face and a small smile escaped her lips.
"I wished I had known, or had a hint, something to show me what you really were, maybe I had all the hints in the world, and I didn't pay attention..." she said softly.
She pulled him to her chest and hugged him close, her blue gaze drifted to Sesshomaru, for a brief moment, the demon lord felt another pain in his chest, it wasn't his own, he knew that, it was from the bind they shared, but if he had describe the feeling, it felt like someone had squeezed his chest so tightly his breath could no longer enter his lungs.
"You can heal him Sesshomaru-sama...My sister told me about the power of your sword," Cho whispered softly.
Sesshomaru didn't say a word, he waited to see how the woman wished to plead him to resurrect the fox. Cho's gaze never left his as she cuddled the body, his blood coating her arms where she scooped him from the cradle.
"I can beg and I can plead, but you never seemed like the type to give in to someone graveling for your aid, however,I have nothing real to offer you, all I can offer you is my word, when this curse is broken, I will swear to you my life for however long I shall live," she said, her lips quivering slightly as the words spilled from her mouth.
Suzuran had gasped quietly, Jaken's eyes widened as well, Rin didn't have a reaction really, she didn't understand the weight of those words. However, the demon lord did understand the graveness of those kinds of words, and they weren't words to be taken lightly. He could consider it, however, she was still just a human woman, and one that hadn't proved much use other then being a pain in his side.
On the other hand, she had shown skill in battle, skill in manipulating the other humans of her species, she cared well for Rin, and was more intelligent then most creatures he had run across. She didn't give in even when faced with all the odds against her, she had shown that first in the river where he found her, fighting him and even wrapping her self around a tree to prove a point, standing and surviving the test against a dragon, and even now when her body screamed for her to stop moving.
His deciding factor was that Tenseiga rattled now in it's sheath, the healing sword called to him to do what the blade was capable of. Grasping the hilt of the blade he sighed inwardly before staring down the woman, even though she couldn't see the look he gave her. She felt it all the same.
Not wanting to feel like he wasn't getting something out of the deal he pulled the blade out of it's sheath and approached the woman and the dead fox child, "This Sesshomaru will accept," he said.
The ball bearers of the dead, the one's that worked now to drag Chikara's soul to the underworld appeared to him, gathered around the body the woman grasped and the cradle that held his blood. They even now worked to wrap there chain's around the fox, a few even gave the woman a wearied look, as if they waited even now for her to keel over from her own injuries.
Sesshomaru swung the blade through the air, the carriers of death screamed as they were sliced through and through and vanished from his vision. As he re-sheathed the sword the blood in the cradle faded away and the wounds on the fox child's body slowly begun to seal shut.

When Chikara opened his eyes, the first thing he saw was the tear streaked face of the woman he had called his mother. He didn't like to see her cry, when she cried she did reckless in-the-moment things; like sawing off all her hair or braking everything in the house.
"Oka-san...your crying," he whispered and wiped the tears from her face.
Chikara turned his head to the side and looked around the area. He recognized this place as his battle ground with the fox, but he also recognized this as the spot he had thought would be his final resting place.
Chikara saw the young Rin first, who stared at him with the wide red eyes from her tears, smiling he called to her, "hello Rin, I guess...this will be the first time we meet," he said.
Rin wailed out loud and ran the space between them before she collapsed onto Chikara and Cho at the same time, she cried and cried shouting that she had thought she lost them both and that it wasn't fair, they weren't allowed to make her worry or scared anymore. Cho hugged both the children close burying her face into the silver hair of the fox demon who in turn hugged the smaller girl close to him.
When the tears stopped and people calmed down Cho made the announcement then, "I want to return to the village, only for a little while, I want to gather our things," she side glancing at Sesshomaru, she wasn't making it a request.
~C~
They did return to the village where Cho packed their bags with Chikara's help, all the while Suzuran filled her in on everything that happened in the five days that Cho had been under the worms curse.
"Sesshomaru-sama held you with his furry cloak thing, I didn't know it moved till now, you thrashed around so much it was all we could do to prevent you from reopening your wounds," Suzuran had explained as Cho was folding the futon she had been using to carry it out to hang it to air dry.
Cho recalled the moments of warmth she had vague memory of, and wondered if that had been the cause, "I see, I'm surprised he did that much for me," she commented, "I'll have to make sure to thank him," she said.
Suzuran stared at her mistress a moment, "do you really intend to serve that demon lord, for that long, you may never marry like that, or ever have children even, or see your sister again..." Suzuran said.
Cho shrugged, "the curse hasn't been broken yet, I have no intention of going back on my word, but...that is still a ways away before happening, and, we will see what happens when it does," she said and turned to find Jinenji.
She found him in the village's graveyard where the fresh grave had been dug. She had been filled in by Suzuran of the old woman named Natsuko who had been there through the whole ordeal, and lost her life in aiding them. She was this Half-breed demons mother and she had protected him all her life, now she was gone. Cho didn't doubt that, he was lost now, without her around to protect and guide him.
"My sister told me about you," Cho said standing just a few feet away.
The horse demon looked up with his giant blue eyes, even with her poor eyesight she could tell he was crying.
"your sister...?" he asked with a quivering voice.
"yep, her names Kagome, do you remember her," she said looking up at the sky watching a night sky, it had been dark on the return to the village.
"Yes I remember her," he said his face turning a shade of red, Cho smiled gently and giggled.
The demon surprised looked up at her and Cho gave him a brilliant grin, "you make me wish it was you my sister was so deeply in love with, not that idiot Inuyasha..." Cho said, Jinenji held his face.
"it's ok, Jinenji, don't be to shy...Thank you, Thank you and your Oka-san, I"m sorry...from the bottom of my heart, that she lost her life because of me," she said.
Cho reached out her arms and hugged the half-breed demon tightly around the neck, he didn't say anything even as she pulled away, "I owe you my life,"
Jinenji shook his head feverishly, "no no you don't, I'm glad I helped you, Mother was so happy to have someone to care for...and all the people that came and helped you Miss slayer, made her happier...she even got to pretend to have a grand daughter for awhile, with your lil sister," he said twiddling his thumbs.
"I see...then, I will be happy to, for the good that came from this, for your mother...but, promise me Jinenji, to keep moving forward, even if you feel lost, there are some out there, that care about you yet," Cho said.
Turning away Cho headed back to the village hobbling on her makeshift crutch she passed the woman with the scared face who was watching over the demon. She stopped now looking at her as the woman looked back at her.
"don't get any ideas...I don't really like him...it's amazing how fate works, just a week ago, his mother came to me, to my hut outside the village, and said, 'we don't get along and the villagers don't like you any more then they like me, but I'm old, and I won't be there for my boy, will you do me a favor, and watch over him', that's that she said to me. Then you arrived and, well, the rest of the story is history," she said.
Cho scuffed and gave her a glancing look, even though she couldn't completely see her face, "I should thank you as well, you were there among the other woman that helped care for me, right," Cho said.
"yea, I came in later though, around when the villagers started to give up on if you would ever live," she said, Cho nodded, "I think you are lying to yourself...take care," Cho continued on.
But then she paused and said out loud, "I didn't get to meet his mother...it's kind of sad...but did you know, she wanted grandchildren, she had Rin call her Granny," with that Cho left heading back to the Jinenji's hut where the group was probably completely packed.
~C~
Sure enough when Cho returned the whole group was prepared to go, Cho spotted the white fox draped across the dragon's back his tails wagging. Rin was scratchings his ears as he so often loved. Cho arced her brow at the sight. Sesshomaru as usual had nothing to say, but he seemed fairly impatient with the injured woman's pace.
Cho had one more task to do and she grabbed Chikara by the fox's scruff and dropped him on the ground, "Change, Now," she insisted.
The fox's eyes widened and he whined, "but..." he said.
"No but's Mister, no more fox form, No more hiding from me, if I'm going to be your Oka-san then it's going to be like this, as Mother and child, not Mother and her pet fox," she said her hand on her hip.
Chikara transformed then in a blaze of snow and ice taking on his humanized form, the kimono was a cream color and dotted with soft pink flowers around the neck and sleeves. The silk garment that floated around his form slithered in the unnatural breeze before settling naturally in place again. His three bushy tails twitched behind him and he hung his head, fearing his mother's wrath.
"I, didn't want to change anything Oka-san, I wanted to be with you forever," he said softly.
"silly boy, if you stayed a fox any longer, then I wouldn't have been able to stay with your forever, you were getting to big to keep in a house with out people getting suspicious," Cho fussed.
Chikara laughed a little and Cho grinned at him patting him on his head and pointed to the dragon's back, "so now that we got that out of the way, up you go," she ordered.
Chikara scrambled onto the dragon's back sitting behind Rin and holding her around her waist. Rin smiled at him.
"told you," she said and laughed.
With the two imps on the dragon's back there wasn't much room now and Sesshomaru was looking very impatient at this point. Cho turned to him her gaze wavered, clearly she knew what was coming next, even as she hobbled towards him. When his arm curled around her waist she was briefly reminded of a lingering warmth as she laced her fingers into the pelt of Mokomoko. But it vanished soon after, as she was also reminded of the tension that spreads through Sesshomaru's body every time he touches her.
Taking to the air they left the Village of Jinenji never to return if Sesshomaru had any say in the matter.
~C~
there was still one task that was left, Cho didn't have much to look forward to over the next few weeks. She needed time to heal and with all the excitement that had been thrown at them in a very short period of time, though it felt like months had gone by, she had a feeling that the Demon lord would be leading them on very quiet paths and hiding his charges carefully from his enemies. That is until she was healed enough, this is what she was assuming would be happening anyways. Sesshomaru wasn't about to let her in on his plans.
Chikara sported for her a new form, one she was mightily impressed with. The large albino fox was about a size larger then Kirara's transformed form, all three of his tails swirled through the air as he wagged them with pride. His marks were showing now, they had slowly started to make an appearance as he got more comfortable in showing all of his demonic self. In the center of his head was a circle, with 8 triangles surrounding the circle at various length. Beneath each eye was a small triangle on his cheeks. They were cute and suited him.
They were to travel now to Totosai, Sesshomaru had chosen a hidden valley to leave Rin. Cho didn't see how this valley would be any safer then the ones they had been in before, but she did notice he chose one with the most wild flowers had grown. She would stay here with An-Un, Suzuran, and Jaken. Cho, Chikara, and Sesshomaru would make the journey to Totosai's home to deliver the dragon fangs that would soon to become her new sword.
Chikara laid down and assisted his mother with the end of his nose onto his back. Cho curled her fingers into his silver white fur. It was a odd feeling having been all this time riding in the air on the dragon. Unlike An-Un though, when the dragon flies he doesn't actually move his legs and just floats on small clouds, Chikara has to run through the air just as if he was on the ground. She wasn't expecting this to be a very comfortable ride through the skies following Sesshomaru, and he doubted he would slow down for the fox demon when he didn't do it for the dragon.
Sesshomaru took to the sky floating on the strange clouds that formed around his feet with the help of Moko Moko, or so it appeared. She couldn't really see it herself. They turned in the opposite direction they face with Sesshomaru at the lead and flew off. Rin waved to them from the ground calling out for them to be careful.
When they were out of site, Suzuran started the task of preparing a fire to keep the child Rin warm and herself. Jaken also went to make himself busy following Rin as the child ran towards a nearby brooke to probably find some fish. While they did that Suzuran had time to think to herself.
The biggest question in her mind was, she had volunteered her services to Cho, but if Cho was to become servant of Sesshomaru, would that mean she to would be serving the demon lord. Or could she withdrawal her servitude...it wasn't forced, Cho even asked her not to do it. But serving the demon lord, would go far beyond simply repaying a debt to the woman. She adored the mysterious human girl and her strange demon son, she did, but was it a choice she was willing to make.
Jaken returned with Rin, between the two of them, they had caught a small bounty of fish, enough for the three of them to have a good meal. Rin talked wildly about nothing and Jaken looked to pretend to be listening. The child finished her meal and took off soon after taking to the field to play and pulling An-Un along with her.
Alone Suzuran turned to Jaken, if there was anyone in the world she could talk with about this sort of deal, maybe it was Jaken, someone of her own species at that.
"Jaken," she asked, he gave her a look, "what"
"how did you come to serve Lord Sesshomaru," she asked.
"the same way you began to serve the woman, he saved my people and myself, though it hadn't been intentional, our enemy was just standing in his way," he said, "but...he was the most beautiful creature I had ever seen in my life, and I owed him, when ever I call to my servants, they aide my lord with out fail," he said and looked at her.
"you would be no different really, your house is with in my realm if I judge your dagger's crest correctly, That makes me your lord as well," he said crossing his arms.
Suzuran pulled out her dagger and fingered the decorative hilt that indeed had her house crest painting onto it, "does it matter, my guards were killed by a stupid orger, not to mention I shamed my own house by not showing up to my own wedding," she snorted.
Now that she thought about it, she never told Cho what was happening that day, that her guards and inu guard, were traveling to another imp house, where she would be married. She didn't want the marriage anyways, so it wasn't like it bothered her. But all her guards and the inu were killed and eaten. She was sure that her dwindling house members discovered the carnage and assumed she died.
"hmmm, when the curse is broken, your aid to the woman will be irrelevant, my lord will see to his servants needs, I can see you safely back to your house's care, and help to patch the broken pack your family made," Jaken declared.
Suzuran wanted to tell him, that she didn't want that, it would be foolish, but even in this great adventure, she was still a high born imp woman (silly as it sound) and even they followed costumes of house. She should be grateful and pleased that the lord of Imps in her home domain, would help her save face for her house.
"Thank you, Lord Jaken," she said with a practiced voice and trained her gaze onto the child instead. She wanted to stop talking now.
~C~
Chikara had landed on the steaming ground that was the inside of the volcano where Totosai made his home. The fox was clearly uncomfortable to be so close to this much heat. Cho patted his head, "don't worry Chikara, This shouldn't take long," she promised
Sesshomaru had landed on the ground not to far from them, he wasn't phased in the least, but what ever did phase the demon lord. Sesshomaru had even the gall to glare at Chikara for his weakness against hot things.
Totosai had already known they were coming as he peeked his head out of the house wearily. He had expected to have Sesshomaru come alone and deliver the woman's tools, but he hadn't thought she would try to deliver them herself. What a site she was to. Her face was covered in little bandages her arm was in a sling and wrapped with a sturdy looking stint. Her legs bandages from large lacerations and she even moved very stiffly around the chest area. She had done exactly as he told her, find a demon she could alone over come, he hadn't expected it to be a very powerful demon, he also didn't expect it to be an incredible blade of any kind. Some simple weapons could be well made, and they would suit the human and generations to follow her.
When she dropped the large fangs of a dragon into his open palm he gawked, "these...are dragon fangs...surely a little human girl like you didn't kill a dragon the likes of one that would own such fangs," he commented.
"I didn't defeat him at all, when I told the dragon what you told me, about defeating a demon on my own and taking it's fangs, he said that, he would willingly give me his fangs if I survived his test," she said and waved with her good arm at her broken limb.
Totosai grinned and nodded his head, "very well, this will be one of my best works, however it will take time," he said and turned back to the entrance of his cave.
He stopped though like he seemed to be forgetting something, "when it's ready, i'll come to you," he said and nodded then disappeared inside.
Chikara didn't waist a second before he jumped back into the sky, the fox whining as he waved his scorched paws in the air. Cho started to laugh at him and hugged his neck tightly.
"Where will we go now, Lord Sesshomaru, shall we continue to find ways to brake the curse," Cho suggested out loud.
"I vote we tie you down until you Finnish healing," Chikara mumbled beneath his breath, Cho glared slightly at her son.
"do not concern yourself, we are returning to Rin," he added briefly.
Satisfied with that answer for now, Cho settled into cuddling the back of the giant fox's neck. Resting was good.
