Cake

Before Fire and Ice: The End

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a wonderful New Year's Eve. Here's another one shot for you all. It's longer than the other one, and I was a little bored, so I decided to update this little one for you. Enjoy. :)

"I never knew that there were so many varieties of cake," I muttered to myself, staring at all of the boxes placed throughout the room. "Where are we supposed to start?"

"Why don't we get rid of the flavors that we don't want? That will narrow things down," Draco said. "That means we can take away the fruity ones."

"And the coconut," I chipped in, watching some of the boxes vanish. "That didn't really do anything though did it? There are still a million boxes in here. Why is this a big deal?"

"Because everyone loves cake, so we need to choose a good one. Can we get rid of the carrot cake ones as well as the red velvet?"

"Yes, please do," I looked at the labels. "What about vanilla. Everyone loves vanilla."

"But vanilla is so plain. We need something else. Why not chocolate?"

"A whole chocolate cake? Isn't that a little too much chocolate?" I asked. "Don't get me wrong; I loved chocolate just as much as the next person, but an all chocolate cake? "

"Then what do you think?" Draco asked.

"Why don't we compromise? Marble cake. It has vanilla and chocolate. The best of both," I answered, flipping open one of the ten cakes that read marble cake. "This one looks promising."

"I guess I can live with that," he said, taking the sample. "I bet it tastes delicious."

"Hey, save some of that for me, mister!" I exclaimed. "We both have to agree you know!"

"What are you going to do about it?" he teased.

"You really want to find out?" I asked.

"Try me." Draco ate the cake.

"You jerk!" I picked up the nearest box and threw the contents at him. It landed on his face with a splat.

"You are in so much trouble," Draco said, wiping some icing off of his face. "You better start running."

"Oops."

"Opps is right."
