Collision

Grey leather skin on the long fingers, three joints more than a human hand. The neck counted more muscles than the rest of the limbs combined. Deuce rolled his slender tongue on the outside of his mouth, he hadn't lips anymore; he smiled.

Frankie frowned as she watched 'the new' Deuce pose with is new arms. Daphne Thrake watched along beside the sparkling green ghoul, the witch put a finger to her cyan lips.

As the boy stretched one arm out and curled the other behind his neck, Thrake said, "Cute, cute, cute."

"He was already voltageously cute before." Frankie said, carefully so that it wasn't a nag but it was still heard.

Thrake's one red eye and one orange eye look complacently at Frankie, "You are a very nice girl."

"She's a million 'very nice girls' put together." Deuce walked up to the ghouls, his voice had become scratchy.

"You'll kill the ghouls on sight now, spare the charm for big game." Thrake winked.

He only has one princess in mind, Frankie thought.

"Face lift appreciated, now I'd like to offer years of my life for the location of Clawdeen Wolf and Lagoona Blue." Deuce asked, he noticed Frankie looked away from his new face.

A beep came from Thrake's iCoffin. Thrake clapped her hands together. "Sorry kids, my lunchbreak is done."

Deuce put a hand on Frankie's shoulder. "One demigod to another, it was a pleasure doing business with you." The snake-man said.

"You paid for mask, let me show you what I can really do with that body." Thrake's voice was a sinking abyss. The smoke of her ponytail flowed down her back and to the floor.

Frankie felt her bolts spark, the lightning in her heart raced to the tips of her fingers.

Thrake's smile went around her face, it grew wider and wider until the teens realized her checks were pulling east and west. The skin of her forehead began to crack apart. The skull went in two directions; the splitting head grew new eyes for the separate faces. One head grew curved horns over the eyes and the other had golden hair fall around her ear.

Deuce stretched his neck; it felt so good as if he was pulling from an endless supply. He let out a bruising hiss. More hisses crept into the room, from behind Thrake's bulking lioness limbs.

"Cut them out." The monster that looked like Deuce, if Deuce had gone through a wash-cycle with barred wire and hammers.

Clawd had the ratty-haired-beast in his arms; Draculaura brushed the greasy grey with her bow-shaped comb.

Gigi rubbed Scarah's temple, the banshee tried to ride the waves of pain in her extra-ear. Abbey kneels with the sludge monster covering her arms. Heath and Invisibilly are over her shoulders.

"What you say, man-like-Gorgon?" Abbey stared at the male being held by Venus's vines. Robecca and Rochelle backed her flanks.

"Your girls are in disguises, they weren't changed. Break the skin if you wish to release your catches."

"Deuce, you sound…..angsty, brosphe." Heath said, slightly unnerved by the chill the 'Deuce' dude was giving off.

"This is Poseidon, he is not in disguise. He was changed into this benêt-version of Deuce." Rochelle explained.

Heath put his scrunched hands to the side of his head; he made a popping sound and opened his fingers. "Mind blow."

Draculaura made a 'meep' sound. "Wait a flap, why should we do what tofu-boy says?"

"He won't mislead us. He doesn't have the hope to." Venus said, her grin showed forty-four long, white teeth.

Under his son's sunglasses Poseidon's eyes glazed over as his flash-back.

"Poseidon. You've looked better."

"Oh hook me." The god of the Sea said to the goddess his captors had called on for deal making.

An owl on her shoulder and a feather engraved shield on her hip, the goddess looked at her fellow Olympian with professional courteously.

"The monsters who beseeched me told me their proposal. It's a fair bargain but I think it can be improved with a few tweeks."

"Save your advice and call Zeus!" The god demanded.

"Tell me, is it the lunar changes that make your waves so turbulent?" Athena asked

Poseidon inhaled then calmly asked, "Please assist me, Athena."

"I shall, if you complete two tasks for me, even if they're more for your own benefit." The goddess said, "First you must earn your son's forgiveness and then you must defeat Ra in battle."

"In that order I shall accomplish both without denting a trident."

"You're confident despite your losing streak." Athena said as she stroked her owl's chin, he hooted sweetly.

The god shook his head, "Can we go one century without you bringing up that shark-bait tree?"

"Who mentioned a tree? I didn't. I simply think it would do your self-esteem some good to challenge Ra again and best him in return for how he wiped the skies with your fishtail. I suggest something along your strengths such as horse-whispering or frisbee golf." Athena said in a voice that reminded Poseidon of dolphins; smarter than all the others and just had to show it off.

Poseidon let her garble, his moods improved knowing his throne was close at hand.

He looked at Draculaura cradle Clawdeen's head in her lap. Pink tears rolled over the vampire's beauty mark; she kissed her precious friend's forehead. The she-wolf had the excess skin peeled off her, the ratty fur of the beast laid on the floor like a slimy, wet blanket. She was unconscious. Clawd was on his knees as he wiped the grey, sticky mush off his sister's auburn fur. Invisibilly put his beanie over Clawdeen's pointy ears.

The equally still, but breathing, Lagoona was in Heath's arms. The sludge was pulled of like dried wiped black paste off her shining blue fins. Robecca checked their vital veins, the gears in her system clicked along with the pulse.

Gigi put hands over her freckles, "Thank you, Poseidon. "

"Were not Cleo and Ghoulia supposed to be with you, Team of the B?" The yeti asked, she saw the same giant hole that let light into the room the teens were in but she did not see those two particular friends. Nor the darling Frankie, Abbey thought.

"Oh, we stopped here because Ghoulia tracked Draculaura's phone signal to let out you guys, but Cleo wanted to start from the top to search for the lost boos." The leafy green& hot pink ghoul that was Venus said.

"Thrake, I want to say thanks again for the upgrade." Deuce asked as he held Thrake's throat in a chokehold.

Deuce had lost muscle mass in his arms during the transformation; he gained far more strength in his ever-stretching, meaty neck. He encircled Thrake's lioness-limbs to her beefy chest, along with her serpent tail against her back. Deuce kept his arms pressed on her blonde fur while her ram-horned head was strangled by Deuce's coils. Thrake had Deuce tangled around her. She held a mint-green leg in her teeth. Deuce's flat face wiggled around her satyr-like face to look into her feline eyes.

"Please give Frankie back her leg." The snake-monster asked.

Thrake felt him tighten, the strain had her toes grow cold. She dropped the dropped the leg. Frankie peg-leg hopped to separate limb. The living-doll thought Thrake was trying to growl something from her kitty-cat head, it was cut off when Frankie heard a loud crack. Deuce twisted the goat-like head until it made a crack then began to uncoil from the chimera that was Thrake. There was hissing from her tail but it was silenced when Frankie's heel landed on its head, and stomped it repeatedly.

Deuce's neck sank back into between his shoulders; as if disappearing under the flesh. He stopped his head from sinking into the unknown with just enough slack to curl back.

"For the record she's undead, stiff right now but give her a night and she'll bounce back. Tough chick." Deuce said about the monster-woman he'd soon be cleaning house for when she came to it.

Frankie said nothing as she hopped around Thrake. She took her sewing kit from her skirt pocket and grabbed her leg.

"I was never that good before, Frankie. Most of everything I had before was just dumb luck and good grace."

Deuce looked at the back of her black&white hair and the black bow as she said, "You had a better character than that. The Deuce I knew stood up for monsters and was unjudgey to all."

"I called it how I saw it." The grey-skinned monster shrugged.

"I think what I'm most disappointed in, is how you don't think you can call on yourself." Frankie said, she sounded almost angry.

"Little Miss Stitch just doesn't get it."

Deuce walked in front of his friend sewing her leg into socket. He stuck his tongue out as he smelled traitor and weak-sauce walk out from behind a curtain wall.

"You lost your mojo when you lost your mohawk," Pal said, his one large eye was serene. "Sure you could've gone back to school, got pity-cakes and hugs from your many, many, many curvaious lady friends. Your bros would've had your back and said it was like nothing had changed. But that wouldn't have cut it for you, would it, bro? Too high a fall from the throne and you would've hated the everyday reminders."

"Lot of words from a dude who traded his brain for a four-wheeled tin can." Deuce told his cylcopian-half brother as he walked up and punched him under the eye.

Pal spitted out a tooth, "Okay I deserve that but Deuce, little bro, I can't see myself raising a hand against you." Pal let his brother grab onto his Armangled suit shirt. "Hiring other peeps to do it was something I could unlive with."

"You pathetic, stupid, limp-"

Pal pushed Deuce's hands off his nice swag. "Ease up, kid, the fighting portion is done for the evening. The game is pretty almost over."

"If you're here to say we've made it to the 'Boss Level' I'll shove the congrats through your eye."

"Okay, -Scales what do you want to hear from me?"

I should've asked this in the first place, Deuce asked, "Where are Lagoona and Clawdeen?"

"They're fine, they're with your other friends on the thirteenth floor."

"Other friends?!" Frankie asked.

"In a prison under guard or-"

"No, child-of-the-dungeon-and-gargoyle, the Calvary has arrived. Your friends can go home I just have to ask you for one small favor."

"Frankie, let's go." Deuce said as he passed his brother, he considered hitting his shoulder against Pal's but decided not to.

Deuce was surprised when Pal jumped in front of him. The older brother put his palms up. "You can't be this burned at me, you know what Olympian kids are like."

"Pal, between us you're still invited to my wedding but I've got my other family to worry about right now, get it?" The grey-skinned snake monster told his brother with the knock-off watch.

"Under that 'I don't care, fat snake' attitude you're all gooey, Jr." The sell-out cyclopse was about to pinch the side of Deuce's new oval-shaped cheekless face but the crash wall behind him caused a distraction.

The fire Thrake threw in incinerating orbs from her two mouths was the only light in the room. The Sphinx of Egypt (yes, the one who never bothered to get a nose job) thrashed its head inside the room Pal lost his balance. Deuce stepped out of the way to let his brother fall eye-first on the floor. He'll come to the reception but he's out for Beast Man, Deuce thought. The stone beast roared, making Deuce slide on his sneakers back to Frankie. She stood, on both legs, when the roar was done. She saw silhouettes of three ghouls slide off from behind the Sphinx's head.

"Good kitty." Cleo said before she looked around the room. She saw Frankie looking quaint and fine, a manster who seemed too startled to stand and a godly looking manster standing near Frankie. In the palace she lived in as a child Cleo remembered the statues of gods with animal faces on mortal bodies. She thought it a pity that she'd have to destroy such a divine looking gentlemen, but that's what he gets for trying to hurt my friends and True Love…wherever his Normie-self is.

"Lilith?" Cleo asked her huntress friend, "Make me a belt with matching boots."

The blonde hunter pulled a blade from her boot. Lilith twirled the skinning tool before running and pouncing onto the snake-mosnter.

"Lilith wait! Cleo listen-"

"Frankie, where is Deuce? It's imperative that we talk." The mummy told her friend.

"Well he's hung up with-"

"I know, I know, he was the Normie you first brought me that I was mean to. I regret that, I do because I know if I ever became so ugly Deuce would still treat me as the same glamorous gem I am inside and out." The mummy continued, chin held high.

Frankie unhappily watched Deuce dodge Lilith's swipes. "Yes, and Cleo, he-"

"I know he refuses to give into his father's whims and might stay a Normie for the rest of our unlives," Cleo shivered, "We can pick through that bag of bones as long as he comes home because I've discovered that my heart has deeper tunnels than I knew before and Normie-Deuce has as much access into me as monster-Deuce so we can't not be together."

Frankie put her hands to her chest. "I knew you had it in you."

Lilith wanted to scream no because you can have me, but she was focused on fighting the snake-man. He had managed to grab her belt and tie her hands behind her back but she still kicked at his head. She had impressive flexibility and almost got his face many times, but the way the heads extended and dodged was proving difficult.

"Lilith, please chill. It's me, Deuce." Deuce said as her heel passed over his nose.

"Like I care." Lilith said as she jumped and spun in the air.

She noticed he stood still and grabbed her foot in the air. He then twisted it and pinned her to the ground. He noticed she had a chained watch.

"I mean, his heart and big serpent belong to only me so he really has no choice but to be mine." Cleo let a little ego deflate as she looked at Frankie with her ending question, "Am I wrong?"

The snake-monster rook Cleo's hands from their folded position twisted her around. "There's no choice at all."

Cleo looked up and down the hunk of leather and scales, she liked it all except the little voice in her head that said stay loyal, stay loyal, stay loyal. She was about to say step off or be eaten by my Sphinx, but the stranger's kiss was too hot to turn away.

Frankie stared at Cleo pressed her lips over lipless mouth. Deuce's new face was still but his tongue glided into Cleo's mouth.

Ghoulia walked over to Frankie and moaned.

"It's very hypnotizing." The girl with black&white hair then realized Ghoulia was there. "Wait, what about Clawdeen and Lagoona!"

"They'll be alright, they're down stairs right now with the rest of the rescue party. The Argh Team is almost together again." The blue-all-over ghoul said, her red glasses staring at the fuming Lilith, who was hatefully staring at Cleo being lifted off her feet with arms around the freaky neck of the 'new' Deuce.
