Ravenna POV:

I woke up with a gasp still lying on the floor, and started to sit up when I suddenly felt a horrible, burning sensation on the left side of my face. I rolled onto my side, groaning, and I glared up at Pitch. "What have you done?!" I snarled, and Pitch leered down at me. "Go check your face." He stated simply, and Jinx paled as she saw my face, her eyes glittering.

I struggled to my feet, and flew to my bedroom as quickly as I could, pushing through the door and looking into my mirror.

I wasn't prepared for what I was going to see.

The left side of my face was exposed, my mask burnt through from Pitch's touch, and I pulled my mask away, and my eyes widened.

The small golden flecks in my eyes had grown, much bigger then they were before, and my left eye and the skin around it had turned ashy grey. My pupils had narrowed like a cat's, my teeth pointier, and my waist-length hair was now shoulder-length and it was now messy and tangled. I looked just like Pitch.

But the now-grey skin around my eye still seemed to be spreading across my skin, very slowly. It was almost like it was taking over me. I suddenly felt light-headed and dizzy, and I grasped the dressing-table to make sure I didn't fall over.

I heard my bedroom door swing open, and Pitch entered. "What have you done to me!" I yelled, and Pitch looked at me slyly. "You have forgotten who you are, so I just showed you." I grasped a stray dagger that is on my desk, and I fling it at him.

But my vision is still slightly hazy, and I feel clumsy and stupid, so my aim is terrible, and Pitch easily dodges the dagger, and it impaled into the wall.

I dodged past Pitch, and jumped off the edge of the staircase that led to my room, and fell down and down to the bottom of the lair. "Where are you going Ravenna?" Pitch's horrible voice echoed abnormally loud, like he was talking inside my head. "You can run and run until you can't run anymore, but you will never run fast enough to escape the truth."

Jack, I needed to find Jack.
