The Biyomon Princess
Chapter 11- Reunited at last
----
Biyomon was coming closer and closer, until it was only a few metres away. Suddenly, Taichi jumped out from his hiding place and aimed the arrow at Biyomon. Biyomon stopped in her tracks and hovered in mid air. She couldn't move and further.
"Oh no! He thinks I'm the Great Animal! Taichi, please don't do it! It's me, Sora!"
But Taichi couldn't hear her. He was ready to kill what he thought was the Great Animal, and claim Sora back.
"This one's for Sora!" he said as he let the arrow fly out of his fingers, and straight towards Biyomon.
"No, Biyomon!" cried Hawkmon as he saw the arrow. He flew as fast as he could and pushed Biyomon out the way before the arrow hit her.
"Come on Biyomon, let's go!" he cried as he flew away. Biyomon soon followed him. And so did Taichi.
"I can't believe I missed!" he said, "Well, I'll make sure that I don't miss them next time!"
----
Biyomon and Hawkmon were flying in the sky, looking down at the forest to see if Taichi was following them, which he was.
"Wow, that was close!" that Hawkmon, "Biyomon, it's working! Here he comes!"
Hawkmon turned around and saw that Biyomon was flying at top speed, and was quite some distance away.
"Hey!" shouted Hawkmon as he flew to catch up with Biyomon, "Slow down, you're going to lose him. SLOW DOWN!"
"He's too close," said Biyomon
"Too close?" said Hawkmon as he looked down at the forest, "He can't even see us any more let alone- AHH!"
An arrow flew by just narrowly missing Hawkmon. It was when that he realised how fast Taichi was.
"Whoa, that boy of yours can move."
"I told you, he's faster than you thought!"
"Don't worry Biyomon, I've been taught just what do in this situation."
"Well?"
"Err… err… well…"
Taichi had stopped on the each of a cliff and was aiming another arrow at the two digimon. Their time was running out, and fast, for Taichi hardly ever missed a target thanks to his training.
"Well…err…let's see…"
"HAWKMON!"
"Yes, that's it! When the archer has you in his sights, fly into the sun and use it's light! Follow me!"
Hawkmon and Biyomon flew into the late afternoon sun. Taichi's aim followed the two digimon, but unfortunately for him, the sun blinded him and he couldn't see the digimon.
"Well now what did I tell you Biyomon? Now all we have to do is just stay in the sun."
But it wasn't as simple as that, for the sun was setting behind them, and the only one that realised it, was Taichi. As the sun went down, he was soon able to see the to digimon. He got his bow and arrow ready.
Hawkmon felt that something was wrong. It was too dark. He looked around and saw the sun had set, and that meant that Taichi could see them.
"Oh no! The sun!" He cried. He looked to see where Taichi was, and saw that he had disappeared.
"Oh no!" cried Biyomon, "look out behind you!"
Hawkmon turned around and saw Taichi with his bow and arrow. He launched the arrow straight towards them. But it missed them (again) as they quickly flew into the forest again. Taichi cursed to himself again and continued his hunt.
Biyomon and Hawkmon flew into the trees, making sure that Taichi followed them, but didn't shot them. They hid in one of the trees and tried to come up with a plan.
"We'd better think of something, and fast," said Biyomon, "Or else, we're dead ducks!"
"I know what we can do!" said Hawkmon. He then turned to Biyomon and whispered a plan in her ear.
----
Taichi was on the ground looking for the two digimon, which had just disappeared.
"Where did they go?" he asked himself. His bow was once again loaded, and ready to kill, as was he.
Suddenly, there was a rustle in one of the trees. Taichi held up his arrow, expecting the worst. Then, Hawkmon dropped out of the trees and onto the ground. He had a red stain on his chest and wasn't moving. Taichi walked over, curious as to how this bird had injured himself. Could Taichi have hit it? He stopped at the bird and looked down. He was about to walk away, when Hawkmon got up and bit his foot, before he flew away. Taichi grabbed his foot and yelled in pain.
"That should put some distance between us!" said Hawkmon, "Come on Biyomon, lets go!"
"That was pretty clever Hawkmon!" said Biyomon
"I know. We're just lucky that tree had some red berry's in it!"
The two birds flew towards Swan Lake. As soon as Taichi recovered from the surprising attack, he followed the two targets.
----
It was now dark at Swan Lake, and the crescent moon was coming up from behind the castle. Frogmon and Gomamon were keeping an eye out for their two friends.
"No sign of them yet," said Gomamon
"I hope that hopeless Hawkmon knows what he's doing!" said Frogmon
"Incoming!" yelled Gomamon.
Frogmon looked up and saw his two friends in the night sky. He grabbed 2 fireflies and used them as lights to guide them to safety.
"There they are Biyomon!" cried Hawkmon as he flew towards Frogmon and Gomamon.
----
Taichi ran, following the two digimon, until he stopped at a beautiful lake, with an old castle next to it.
"What is this place?"
----
Biyomon and Hawkmon landed by Frogmon (who had now blown the fireflies away) and Gomamon.
It's almost time Biyomon, look," said Hawkmon, pointing towards the sky. Biyomon looked up and saw that in the night sky there were a few clouds, and the crescent moon.
"I…I can't do it," said Biyomon
"But you have to!" said Hawkmon
"He'll kill me Hawkmon!"
"If you don't do it know Biyomon, you've lost your chance for life."
Biyomon looked up at the moon again, and then to Taichi, who looked amazed by the beauty of this place.
"Alright, I'll do it."
Biyomon slowly flew down towards the lake where as soon as the moonlight touched the lake, she would turn back into a princess. Unfortunately, she didn't know that the clouds were slowly blocking out the moon.
----
Taichi looked up and saw the digimon fly down into the lake.
"What's it doing now? Does it want me to kill it?"
He loaded another arrow in his bow, and got ready to shoot.
----
Biyomon landed in the lake, but she soon saw that the clouds were blocking out the moonlight.
"Oh no!"
She looked up at Taichi was about to shoot, when Hawkmon flew down and knocked his head so that he dropped his arrow. He quickly picked it up and loaded his bow again, as the clouds began to clear in the sky. He aimed the arrow at Hawkmon and was about to shoot, when a strange glow appeared from behind him, He turned around and saw something unbelievable happen.
Around Biyomon, a strange glow had appeared in the water. The water started to rise, glowing brighter than ever. The water formed into a tube like shape and surrounded Biyomon so that she was hidden from him. Then, the glow became dimmer and dimmer, as the tube of water slowly disappeared. And there, where Biyomon used to be, was Princess Sora, (who was wearing the same dress she wore when she first danced with Taichi).
Taichi couldn't believe it. All this time he was searching for Sora, and trying to kill that Biyomon, she was right in front of him. She was the Biyomon that he was chasing. He started wide-eyed at the person who had claimed his heart.
"Hello Taichi," said Sora.
Taichi dropped his bow and ran towards Sora, where they wrapped they're arms around each other. Taichi held up Sora and swung her around in the air. Then, when he out her down, they shared a passionate kiss. (I love this bit in the film! )
"Oh Taichi, I've missed you so…"
"No one believed me but I knew…"
"You can't stay."
"Can't stay? No, I'll never let you out of my sight again!"
"Listen to me Taichi-"
"Sora!" called a voice from the forest.
"Oh no!" gasped Sora
"Who is it? What's going on" asked Taichi
"It's him!"
"Who?"
"He has me under a spell!"
"Who does?"
"Sora!" cried the voice again; only it sounded nearer, and angry
"Let him come," said Taichi, "I'll-"
"No!" cried Sora, "He has great power. You must go!"
"Then you're coming with me!"
"I can't! When the moon sets I'll turn back into Biyomon. Please Taichi you have to trust me! Go!"
"There must be some way to break the spell."
"Oh there is. You must make a vowel of everlasting love."
"I'll do it, it's all I've ever wanted!"
"You must prove it to the world."
"What, but how?"
"I don't know!"
"Sora!" cried the voice again as it got nearer and nearer.
"Go Taichi!" whispered Sora.
Taichi started walking away, but then he got an idea. He turned around and faced Sora.
"The ball!" he said, "Tomorrow night, come to the castle. Before the whole world I'll make a vowel of ever lasting love."
"SORA!" cried the voice again
"I'm coming!" She called to the voice, and then she whispered to Taichi, "Go!"
"Tomorrow night-"
"Yes, tomorrow night," said Sora, "Now go!"
Before Taichi left, he threw something to Sora. Sora caught the gift in her hands and saw that it was her golden heart necklace, with the picture of a Biyomon on the front. It was the one Taichi had given her when she was a baby. Sora smiled and looked up at Taichi. Taichi smiled back, and then disappeared into the forest.
"Sora!"
Sora turned around and saw Yamato step out from behind a tree, and he looked very angry.
"Sora, didn't you hear me calling?" he asked
"I…I…" stuttered Sora
"I thought I heard voices," said Yamato as he looked around the old garden, looking for something, or someone.
"Voices?" asked Sora, trying to sound like she didn't know anything.
"Yes, voices."
"Well, I…I…"
"You what?" asked Yamato who was getting very impatient.
"I've decide to…to…become your queen," said Sora, putting on a fake smile.
"No! You mean? Oh Sora, you've made me so happy. I'll be a good King, you'll see! I'll wear nice clothes, and I'll even use less gel in my hair."
Yamato knelt down by Sora, kissed her hand, and stood back up again as if planning something. When Yamato wasn't looking, Sora quickly cleaned her hand on her dress.
"Oh, by the way, you wouldn't happen to know who this belongs to would you?" asked Yamato, as he pulled out Taichi's bow from under his cloak.
"Oh no!" gasped Sora, as Yamato threw the bow into the lake.
"'Come to the ball and I'll make a vowel of ever lasting love?' Ha! Thought you could fool me!"
"I will never be yours, you creature!" cried Sora as she filled with rage, "I will marry Prince Taichi, and you can not stop me!"
"I hate to tell you this Sora, but you won't be able to attend the big ball tomorrow night!"
Yamato grabbed Sora's hand and stole her necklace, which Taichi had given her. He then turned around and walked away.
"If you want to stop me, you'll have to kill me!" said Sora.
Yamato stopped in his tracks and looked at Sora. Now he was really angry. He was about to yell at her, when he noticed something in the sky. And evil grin grew on his face.
"No, I don't think so. You see you've forgotten one very important thing. Tomorrow night, there is no moon!"
Yamato pointed up at the crescent moon. Sora turned around and saw the moon too.
"No…no!" she cried. She fell down to her knees and began to cry. She was so close, so close to escaping and being with Taichi. But now, she couldn't. She would never be free.
As she wept, Yamato laughed behind her.
