Following chapter is around 2000 words. I haven't bothered excluding the A/N, I'm lazy.
BE PROUD OF ME, FOR I WROTE A DESCRIPTIVE CHAPTER FOR ONCE! AND, EVEN BETTER, IT'S IN WILL'S EYES AND THOUGHTS! OH YEAH! I'm actually really pleased with how the chapter turned out!
Fify- As per usual, STC! OH MY GOD YOU'RE A BILL WEASLY FAN *high fives* YOU GO GIRL! And, as per usual (lot of usual's going on tonight) I agree. Heronstairs really does damage someone's health. I'm also adding sanity, because yeahhh…
Boogalee99: I swear I will one day be able to type your username without double-checking it! And thanks for proving my point ;) VERY FEW Harry fans in the world. It is one of the most amusing things in the world, it doesn't ever fail to not bring a smile to my face!
Kelly Herondale: *bows* Thank you, Miss Herondale. I do try, I really do. Like, hours and years and possibly centuries if I were a Warlock like our beloved Magnus and Tessa. And *sniffs* Ragnor.
Mrs. Herondale-Jackson-Potter: I agree. The characters in HP are just all too perfect. And thank-you! I had some dare ideas left over from a previous fic and didn't want them to go to waste, so… *shrugs*
247Ice-CreamLover: Aw, thank-you! Also, A* 10/10 on the Johnlock shipping. My friends tend to go for Sherlolly. By the way I in no way judge you for being distracted by Sherlock. I mean, Benedict C, Robert DJ, or any other type of Sherlock, is perfect. And Martin F as John was brilliant. God love the BBC. Just not Moffat. How was your cake in a mug? ;D
Zstar1: Thank-you, and that was a lot of pleases! I actually feel guilty for not updating sooner than usual. For the record, you did 30 pleases this time and 22 pleases last time, so well done :D (Yes, I went back and counted.)
Morning and Eve: Thank-you, or should I type 谢 Xiè! And thanks for seeing eye-to-eye with me on my Mandarin-learning. If I'm ever out and I get attacked by a bunch of Chinese guys, I can be all 'Wow, chill out, maan. Go have some rice, or something'. Though of course in Chinese. And without the possibly offensive Stereotype. And of course 'calm down' instead of 'chill out'. Because trust me, it sounds wrong coming out of my mouth. Just…. Imagine someone slightly less-posh than the queen and more-northern saying 'chill out'. Bad idea.
JossRB98: Thank-you! And thanks for picking up on the reference!
Accioswiftgames: Thank-you! And the Wessa's coming, believe me. It's there… soon. I mean, snowball fights are pretty cute, right? Especially when Tessa trips in the snow and pulls Will down with her. Right?
Fearless Noodle: This line in your review How cool is that? ... (Silence). Like wow. It has me in stitches every time I read it. Thanks for the help with Hebrew? I'm guessing you speak the language? And I'm including more TMI/TID meetings soon, don't worry!
Juliettelove: We get more before the wedding, come on! I mean, two things: Frozen and Snow. *Grins evilly* Anyone want to build a snowman?
YourBestieAlex: Ah. I'm pretty sure I specified 'human', dear. …No, wait, I didn't. Apologies. I should have been more elaborate in my 'Harry Potter Adventures' ;)
TMITID SchoolFics: I am both amused and upset by the fact that your name implies that you would have Fanfiction on your account, yet you do not. Though I did read your bio. I suspect Alex. Did you finally make an account? (To those who don't know, I will quote this persons bio: SilverCarstairs, a close friend of mine) I am suspecting Alex. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Jade Pendant: I accept your point. I then accept your other point and cry at the Malec feels. I then feel relieved that I'm not the only one who cannot write Jace. :)
ON WITH THE FIC!
.
Will hated sleeping. Detested it, even. It brought back memories. Ella's death, his own 'curse', Jem's addiction, all memories he'd like forgotten and buried.
Will turned onto his side meaning he was facing the window, the thin curtains drawn back and letting the weak moonlight in, cast onto the figure lying in the bed beside his, breathing softly and he too facing the window.
Will gave a small smile. Will was ever-thankful for Jem. It was Jem whom he'd let inside his walls. Jem, who would always stay by him. Jem, who would teach him everything. Jem, who was Will's anchor. Jem, who kept Will from ending his own life.
Their friendship was not one of happiness and rainbows, with fluffy bunnies and prancing unicorns. It was one of blood, unshed tears and need. But Will wouldn't trade it for a million, no, a billion pounds. He'd be selling half of his soul.
Because him and Jem, they were living yin and yang. Neither could live without the other. They need each other to be one. To be whole. They were one person in two. They just got the opposite halves. Will was dark. Jem was light. Will was cruel. Jem was kind. Will was strong. Jem was, or had been, weak. Jem had been dying. Will had wanted death.
"James." Will whispered.
"Yes?" Came Jem's reply, his voice thick like he had almost been asleep.
"Are you awake?" Will asked with a smirk. They sounded like two children on a school trip, where the others in the room are asleep.
"No." Jem replied, with Will being able to hear his smile. There came the rustling noise of sheets as Jem presumably removed his iPod and placed it on the bedside table. Jem would do that, listen to music before and as he slept. The soft and alive cultural music of China helped him to sleep. Will had tried doing that and given up immediately*. Have you ever listened to Welsh music? Don't. Jem's silhouette shifted as he turned around to face Will.
Will's mouth stretched into a grin. Jem's eyes would have been luminous a year ago, glowing the same colour as the pale moonlight shining into them. But now they glinted, Will unable to make out the bronze flecks in Jem's eyes due to the blackness not just in Jem's eyes but that they were swallowed up in by the night and the dark hotel room.
"Quit grinning. I know I'm irresistible but you have a girlfriend, Will." Jem sighed, making Will's grin broaden.
Will sighed, filling his voice with sadness and want. "Oh come on, James. She wouldn't know. And I can't resist your charms. The way you call me an idiot in Mandarin just makes me-"
Will broke off as he and Jem burst out laughing, abandoning the quietness they'd been trying to keep up.
"Will." Jem choked out. "Stop, please."
"Make me." Will growled seductively. Jem snorted and threw his pillow at Will, who broke off his growl with an 'OW'. "Huh, sucks to be you." Will said simply. "I've got two pillows now." Will could practically hear Jem roll his obsidian eyes.
Will's phone buzzed, loud and harsh from its place on Will's bedside table.
Magnus- I know you're awake. Stop flirting with Jem & come 2 club Pandemonium. When was the last time u had alcohol burn your throat? Besides, I'm bartending.
Will smirked. He loved the scorching, fiery taste that only alcohol could bring. The way it made him forget all his worries. Still, Will wouldn't be surprised if his liver was almost destroyed from last year. There wasn't a night Will wasn't drunk. He wasn't sorry. He needed the escape and he wasn't able to let people love him.
…But… no. Will couldn't. Everything was perfect. Jem, Tessa, himself, so many reasons. Will wasn't about to throw it all away.
Oh, come on. A voice said in his mind. Magnus will stop you getting off with someone and see you don't get too drunk. Besides, you have a very high alcohol tolerance.
"Jem-" Will began.
"No." Jem said, his voice muffled from under the covers he had just buried himself in to block out the light of Will's phone. "You're not ruining your life."
Jem disapproved of any vice or addiction, alcohol being one of them.
"Magnus'll be there." Will said in his best persuasive voice. "And I'm not going to sleep anyway. Plus, it's been ages since I've even looked at beer, or any alcohol for that matter, let alone drink it."
Jem gave a muffled sigh. "Fine. Go. But if you ruin your life I'm not helping you build it back up again."
Will, who had been in the process of grabbing clothes from the wardrobe, froze. Those were some extreme words. Jem wasn't mad at him, was he?
"Also, give me back my pillow." Jem continued, sticking his head up out of the covers.
Will laughed, bounded over to his bed and threw the pillow at Jem, flicking the lights on as he did so. No, Jem was not mad at him.
Jem put the pillow back on his head. "William Owen Herondale. Turn off the lights or I will personally get Church to scratch out your eyes so you won't be able to see light again."
Will gave a gasp of horror and turned off the lights. "How would I be able to read?"
Jem gave a snort. "Sure. That would be your only concern."
"Nope." Will said, going into the little bathroom. "It's also the fact that I wouldn't be able to see your beautiful face again."
Jem gave another snort. "I'm convinced you're bisexual, Will."
"Takes one to know one." Will said quietly, well aware of Jem's excellent hearing.
"Will." Jem said sharply.
Will shut the door of the bathroom, laughing.
Will bounded into the room, his soul lifted. But the alcohol hadn't been the same, not like before when he'd needed it. He'd felt wrong, not uncaring. He'd felt-
His ears tuned into the harsh, hacking coughing he knew all too well. Will felt his heart stop.
Jem.
He sprinted to the bathroom and wrenched open the door, unaware and uncaring that he'd just pulled the lock off the door in the process. "James." Will said.
Jem's hands were gripping the sink, skin taught over his knuckles so it looked scarily like his old skin tone. "I'm. Fine." He rasped out between coughs. "I'm just unwell-" He coughed a bit of blood into the sink.
Jem's hold on the sink released, his eyes wide. Suddenly, he swayed and began to fall, unconscious. He'd fainted.
Will suddenly un-freezed, diving to the floor to stop Jem from hitting his head. "No." Will said. "NO." He said, a bit louder, his hold tightening on Jem. "Os gwelwch yn dda gadewch iddo fyw." He sighed, allowing himself to shed tears he hadn't shed in almost 11 months. "Please let him live." He murmured, saying the earlier phrase in English.
Please.

*I actually love Welsh music. Like seriously, a lot better than this American/British pop that everyone listens to nowadays. I actually understand why people listen to singers like Taylor Swift and Bands like One Direction, because no matter what, you have to admit they can sing… ish. I also love Rihanna, Miley Cyrus and Nicki Minaj personally, but hate the way they expose themselves and in Nicki's case, become a human Barbie, to get the same amount of views as videos with men. But I much prefer Gaelic music. It's so calming and nice and ahhhhh. Failing that, does anyone know who Jason Yang is? He's a violinist and oh my gosh he's good. He does things like Game of Thrones and Lord of The Rings violin covers, they're perfect, I highly recommend you check him out. He also has brilliant hair. I want his hair.
ANYWAY, R&R guys reviewing will help me type! If you want to say it's terrible, go ahead! Even if you just say lol, I will still read and love your reviews and try my best to respond to them the next chapter!
