Yo! Did you enjoy your dose of CluClu last chapter? I know I did, and I wrote it! I loved each and every one of your reviews! I'm past seventy! I never really thought the story would be this popular. Honestly, I didn't.
You might be mad at me at the beginning of the chapter, so don't kill me, okay! I don't appreciate being hunted down. What's gonna happen is totally unexpected because of what Lelouch said at the end of last chapter, so yeah. You'll find out for yourselves.
This chapter is also dedicated to AverageLucas. He gave me a scenario when I started the story, but I couldn't fit it in anywhere yet, and this is where it fit! This is only part of it, so yeah.
Anyway, here is the next chapter of- Yeah, my title is ridiculously long, so I'm not gonna bother typing it. You know what I'm talking about. You're reading it!
Enjoy! :)
It had been two weeks since C.C. had gone over her raven haired friend's house. After that incident, Lelouch had gotten used to making more physical contact with her than usual. Not as in shaking hands, high fiving, giving each other playful hits, or ruffling each others hair kind of contact. Stuff like hugging, Lelouch putting an arm around her shoulder, or touching her face. And for some reason, when he did stuff like that, C.C. could feel her face heat up. Whatever the problem with her body temperature was, she hoped it was just a small cold.
She was currently in the kitchen of the restaurant thinking about this, while preparing the ingredients for they would use of the day. Lelouch had given her the keys the day before, saying he was going to be absent.
Right now, it was just her, Suzaku, and Euphie, who were working in the restaurant. Suzaku had told her that Kallen said she wouldn't be here until later on. Of course, C.C. didn't think she'd be coming in with a loud slam.
The entry door slammed open to reveal an angry red head. She knocked down the table nearest her, making the glass salt and pepper shakers break.
Suzaku, C.C., and Euphie had never seen her like this before. And right now, they all knew this wasn't a good time for teasing or arguing.
"Kallen," C.C. started calmly, "Why are you angry? You are destroying the property of something that neither belongs to you or me. So do me a favor, and stop destroying stuff."
Kallen only responded by muttering, "Shit," when she broke one of the glass vases with lilies.
Aaaaaaaand….. there went yet another item which didn't belong to her. C.C. was so ratting Kallen out tomorrow when Lelouch came back.
This time, Suzaku tried to help. "Kallen, it might help if you stop destroying stuff, and tell us why you're on rampage right now."
Euphie joined in. "Yeah. I don't think Lelouch-nii will be happy with his stuff being destroyed. He has temper issues."
C.C. placed a hand on her right hip, sighing. "You know, I don't think we can calm her down. It's impossible." Why isn't Lelouch here when we need him, she thought.
Suzaku put a palm against his forehead. "Unless we can somehow contact Gino from when we were on that date a couple of weeks ago. He calmed her down in five seconds."
"You mean the guy on our date? He was incredible." Euphie said.
"I know who you're talking about. Apparently, Ms. Rampage knew him when we spent a day together. She told me you all met him at some restaurant. The princely guy, right?"
The angry red head stomped up to the brown, pink, and green haired teens. She was breathing hard, her fist balled. "Want me to tell you guys what's wrong?"
Suzaku gave her a flat look. "Well, that's what we've been trying to get out of you for the last five minutes, so yeah. I think that would help a lot."
"HE HAS A GIRLFRIEND!"
"Who has a girlfriend?" C.C. asked in confusion,
"YOU KNOW WHO!" Kallen yelled, still angry.
"Actually," Euphie started, "We don't so..."
"HE DOES!"
"He who?" Suzaku was confused with this angry girl. She could at least stop yelling and tell them the name.
"LELOUCH DOES!"
Ooooooh. Wait. What?
"A girlfriend? Since when?" Suzaku was confused. How could his best friend not tell him he had a girlfriend? Lelouch usually told him everything. If he thought about it, though, Lelouch never told him about his love life.
"Since last week." Kallen muttered darkly. "That's why he's absent. He apparently promised her he would spend the day with her. I made him tell me when I was on the way home with him yesterday. It accidentally slipped."
While Kallen was explaining this, C.C. was still processing this information. A girlfriend? She sort of felt uncomfortable at this information. They were really close friends, right? So he would've told her eventually, right? Not keep it a secret...
"What's her name?" the green haired teen asked.
Kallen grit her teeth, saying the name like it was a bad taste in her mouth. "Shirley. Shirley Fenette," she answered.
Shirley Fenette? That name sounded like... "That's the girl in my cooking class at Ashford," C.C. explained, remembering the pretty girl with orange hair and green eyes she had once partnered up with.
"Great. That makes two of you," the angry red head hissed. "You and the asshole."
Maybe she should ask Lelouch why he didn't tell her, and keep it a secret from them. They were all his best and closest friends. Was there a reason he kept quiet about it? C.C. didn't know why, but she felt a small pang in her heart.
~The Next Day~
For the next couple of days, everything was fine (except for Kallen). Everyone was gathered at Cornelia's studio to try on their outfits for her summer collection, and the costumes upcoming play at Ashford Academy. Apparently, she was in charge of making the costumes.
Right now, Suzaku, Kallen and some of the others were getting their costumes fit by Cornelia and some of her assistants. The brown and red head had to change into at least five costumes through the whole play. Suzaku was wearing a white knight uniform with gold trimming, and Kallen's costume was a black dress that stopped mid thigh with a high collar and white lining.
Lelouch and C.C. already had their costumes on. Lelouch with a purple, black, and gold like suit with a cape, and C.C. with a white body suit with flowing long sleeves.
The green haired 'witch' was playing with a strand of Lelouch's hair who smacked her hand away every time she touched it.
Lelouch glared at her with twitching eyes. "Witch, leave my hair alone."
"But why?" she mockingly pouted. "It's fun. Though, I say you should comb it. You know, so it won't always spike like this." She tugged on a strand of his hair for emphasis.
"Hardy har har." Lelouch muttered, playing with the mask in his hand. "You make me laugh."
C.C. smirked. "You're no fun anymore, my warlock."
"Really?" Lelouch smirked. "Then what do you think will make me fun again?"
"I don't know," she laughed with a shrug. "Maybe something like telling me about that girlfriend no one knew about."
The raven haired teen froze. "Haha. About that..." he trailed off. Lelouch didn't think they new about that. Hold on. Kallen knew, so she must have... Oh, he got it now.
"I'm not mad at you. I just wanna know why you didn't tell us, and why you tried to keep it a secret from us. It's not like any of us will get mad, except for Kallen. You especially don't have to worry about me getting angry with you. You can date all the girls you want and I won't care." The green haired teen smirked.
Lelouch gave C.C. a flat look. "Thank you for the encouragement." he sarcastically muttered, rolling his eyes. "I applaud you."
"Thank you," she grinned. "But really. Why did you hide it? I'll tell you now. I'm okay with it. In fact, I know the girl you're dating. There is only one thing I'm not okay with."
Lelouch raised an eyebrow. "What?"
C.C. lowered her eyelids coyly, putting on a mock innocent face. "A girlfriend means you'll likely spend more time with her. That means you have no time for me. To be honest, I like when we go places together… Less time together means less time for me to annoy you."
The raven haired teen smiled. "Well, less time with you means less annoying green haired witches for me. Rest assured, though, that we will still spend time together." Lelouch grabbed C.C.'s hand, and brushed the back of it lightly against his lips.
Then, he teasingly leaned in closer and muttered in her ear, "But just to clarify things, our outings together will not be dates. I have a girlfriend. I don't want you to fall in love with me while I have a girlfriend."
C.C. blushed at the action, but smirked nonetheless. "Don't worry. I pity the fool who falls in love with you, anyway."
Lelouch smirked back. "Well, I'm glad you aren't one of those fools." The two teens laughed.
From the distance, Cornelia called, "You guys, we're taking a group photo in your costumes, so get over here! It's in the room next to this one."
The two teens stood from their seats. C.C. pulled on Lelouch's costume. "One more question, warlock."
"What?"
She wrapped both of her arms around his right one. Standing on her tippy toes, she whispered, "Have you kissed yet?"
Lelouch turned a deep red, and stuttered, "W-Well-"
"Kidding. I was just teasing you. You don't have to answer." C.C. laughed.
Her friend threw a glare at her. "Ugh, I hate you," he muttered, walking away with the mask in his hand.
C.C. ran to his side, catching up with him. "Hate is a strong word, but that's why I like you so much."
Lelouch frowned, but soon collected himself and put on an arrogant face. He surprised the green haired girl by picking her up bridal style. "I think we should make a grand entrance, don't you, my witch?"
C.C. blinked. Once. Twice. Three times. "My witch?"
"Oh. I didn't tell you." Lelouch smirked. "I have a girlfriend, but I have also claimed you as my witch."
Well, I'm done! Don't kill me! Just tell me in your reviews! Don't hunt me down! We had a dose of CluClu at the end, though, so yeah.
I, Saki Rose Vi Britannia, command you to review!
