This ones really AU. Everything's explained in the story. Hope you enjoy. Also guess the song that I've used.

"Evening officer," Lucy greeted as she stood next to the policeman who had gathered with the public in a half circle around a band that were playing in Leicester Square.

"Evening landlady," Lee replied as he peered down at Lucy. He'd decided in the past year that he wanted to become a policeman and had started his training straight away.

"I'm not your landlady anymore am I?" Lucy smiled up at him as he beamed back.

"No you're not. You're my wife," he said with a silly grin as his head turned back to face the band that was just setting up.

They'd gotten together just over two years ago and they'd gotten married spontaneously a couple of months later after they'd both decided that the wedding planning was too much. So they phoned the registry and booked a slot for that afternoon. They had also decided that it would be a good idea to pick Geoffrey, Wendy, Frank and Daisy up at the same time. They would have killed the pare if they weren't involved.

Resisting the urge to reach out and grab Lucy's hand he kept his arms behind his back, "what are you doing here anyway?"

"One I knew my husband would be here and I wanted to keep him company and second of all that band are my pupils and if you can't tell half of the school has turned up. Thought I'd show some support," Lucy explained as she eyed the throng of teenagers in front of her.

"Hi miss!" A few girls chorused as they walked past her, hiding alcohol next to their sides.

"Girls get back here," she demanded as Lee watched on with a smirk as the trio of girls slowly made their way back towards their teacher.

Lucy had decided on a change of career a year before she and Lee had got together. She'd gone and took her teaching qualifications and had begun a job in the local comprehensive school as a Business teacher. No one knew that she was married or even in a relationship. She'd just never gotten around to telling people and no one had ever asked.

"What's up?" One of the cheeky girls questioned as they held their hands behind their back. There was a police officer, no way were they risking it.

"What's up is that you're drinking underage in public," Lucy explained as she crossed her arms over her chest as the girls only smiled back at her.

"No we're not," they replied in unison as Lucy's eyebrows raised.

Lee decided it was his job to step in so he did, "listen to your teacher girls. Hand them over and no one gets in trouble."

Groaning the three girls handed over the alcohol that was in their hands as Lee raised his eyebrows and pointed towards their bag. Groaning even louder the girls each emptied their handbags as Lee put them into his backpack.

"You're not going to nick them are you?" The youngest one asked as her shoulders slumped.

"No they'll be going in the bin," Lee reassured them as they huffed and said a sad goodbye before walking off not before muttering something about the policeman fancying Lucy.

"How do you cope?" Lee sighed as he zipped the backpack back up and slung it over his shoulder.

"I don't," was Lucy reply as the music started playing and a smile spread across her face.

"I'll be back now," Lee told her as he waded his way through the crowd. Before she knew it he was out of sight. Shaking her head Lucy turned back to watch her sixth form pupils and other students dancing and singing along at the sides.

"Fancy a dance, sweetheart?" She knew that voice and she knew that voice was drunk. God he was a teacher and his pupils were around him! Liam wasn't that bad when he was sober but it was a different story when he was drunk.

"No I don't, Liam," Lucy replied curtly as she rolled her eyes at the ridiculous dance moves the teenagers were pulling off as the public looked on with either judgemental looks or smiles on their faces.

"Oh c'mon Lucy, love," he answered again as Lucy cringed as he put his hand on her shoulder. He stunk of alcohol.

"I said no," Lucy replied more firmly as she shrugged his hand off of her shoulder. God where was Lee?

"Oh c'mon," he tried again as he leaned in closer to his ear and Lucy shook her head more firmly.

"I believe she's already told you no twice, she should have only had to tell you once," Lucy could hear Lee's voice just behind Liam as she sighed a breath of relief.

Luckily Liam leant back and she knew he was going to retort, "who do you..." And that's when he noticed Lee's police uniform. Gulping as Lee put his hand on his shoulder Liam eyed the taller man.

"I think it's best if you went home," Lee said sternly above the music as Liam scurried away. Watching the younger man scurry away he waited until he had disappeared before walking to stand just behind Lucy again.

"Hi," Lucy breathed as she felt Lee's hand slide secretly into hers.

"You ok?" He questioned just as slow song began playing. Having a bit of authority sometimes came in handy.

"I'm fine thank you," Lucy smiled as she went and stood next to him, her hand still in his.

"I'm on break now," he explained as he saw Lucy nod out of the corner of his eye.

"I love you."

"Love you too," Lee replied automatically and in the nick of time as the trio of girls from earlier came to stand in front of them. Reluctantly they let go of each other's hands.

"Yes girls?" Lucy questioned as the wordlessly grabbed Lee's hand and hers before dragging them to the middle in front of everyone. They were clearly visible as only a few couples were dancing.

"Dance," was the only word they received as they took Lucy's handbag and placed it next to the microphone stand so it was safe.

Laughing slightly Lee and Lucy stepped closer to each other as their hands intertwined and one of his went to her waist and hers went to his shoulder. Beginning to move slightly to the music Lucy chuckled as Lee began whispering the lyrics to the song, "And the stealer of the covers, She's a picture in my wallet and my unborn children's mother...first dance."

"What do you mean?" Lucy questioned and she could feel the eyes of her pupils on her as Lee guided her around more of the space that was available.

"Well because we eloped we never had a reception so this is our first dance," Lee explained as Lucy's smile widened, "so I reckon we should be standing a lot closer."

Lucy laughed out loud at that as he pulled her closer by her waist and rested his chin on top of her head as hers rested into the crook underneath his. Her pupils did not expect that.

"I was thinking..."

"That can't be good. Will I need to take you to the hospital?" Lucy teased as Lee rolled his eyes.

"You're lucky I love you," he answered as Lucy giggled at the little tickle Lee gave her.

"Go on."

"Anyway I was thinking," he began again as he hugged Lucy tighter to him, "if you want to...maybe we could start trying for a baby. I know you want one and I want to make that happen. If you want?" He rambled a bit as the hand that was playing with the ends of his hair stilled.

"What?" Lucy questioned as her head jerked back but they carried on dancing. They were having a big conversation in half a song.

"Shall we try for a baby?" He asked again as Lucy's mouth turned from an 'o' shape to a smile.

"You're serious?"

"Yeah," he sighed and that's when the song began to come to an end.

Instead of replying Lucy stood on her tiptoes and kissed him soundly on the lips, one of her hands resting on his cheek as the other tangled in his. Smiling into the kiss Lee pulled Lucy as close as he possibly could to him. They were only pulled apart by wolf whistling, cat calling and a chorus of, "miss why are you kissing a stranger?"

Shaking her head as she pulled away from Lee he grinned at her cheekily and she could feel the approach of teens, all of them overpowering the public in Leicester Square.

What she said next caused a lot of confusion, gossip, questions and even more wolf whistling.

"I'm not," she began exclaiming loud enough for them to hear, "he's my husband."
