Hey! Love the reviews! I have nothing to say, but thank you for choosing to read my story. Happy reading!

Coral's POV

I ran home, leaving Nico to talk to Hazel. I still felt kind of awkward around Hazel, which was one of the reasons I ran. The other reason is because I accidentally said that I had a dagger. That dagger was important to me, but it was embarrassing saying I had a dagger. No normal person owns a dagger.

Just like I planned, I got home before my sister. I grabbed her Taylor Swift perfume and smirked. I hid it in my pocket and ran out ofthe room as she went in. "What are you doing?" she asked me, but I was already heading out the door.

"Not now! I have to go to Percy's," I said and ran out the door. He wasn't going to like it, but I was going to make him keep the perfume. Maybe forever...or until Annabeth or maybe Sally found it.

I knocked on his door and waited for him to answer. I ran into his apartment, and he said, "Come in?"

"Percy, I need you to do me a really big favor," I told him.

"Okay..what's the favor?"

"Hide my sister's Taylor Swift perfume," I said.

"Ew. I'm not touching that crap!" he yelled.

"You're going to, or I'm going to spray it all over your room," I threatened.

His eyes widened and grabbed the perfume, "Gimme that." I let him take the perfume and run to his room. When he came out, I raised my eyebrows. "It's in my underwear drawer," he said.

"Ew! I didn't need to know that!" I yelled.

"Okay, okay. You wanna play Minecraft?"

I smirked and said, "I'll beat you so bad you'll cry."

"How do you beat someone at Minecraft?" he asked.

"Well, it's not supposed to be a competition, but I make it one," I said. He raised his eyebrows as he turned on the x-box.

"Game on," he said. I laughed, and grabbed a controller.

Annabeth's POV

The next day, Hazel ran up to me while I was waiting for Percy to show. "I think Coral's a demigod!" she said.

"Really, 'cause I was thinking more of a nymph," I said sarcastically. "What made you think that anyway? You've only known her for a day."

"She said she had a dagger that her sister used as a cheese cutter," Hazel said.

"A dagger? She told you that?" I asked. "She never told me that!"

"Not intentionally. She was making up an excuse to leave Nico and I alone," she said.

"Just being a Percy here, what was her excuse?" I asked.

She laughed. "Her excuse was that she wanted to get home to hide her sister's perfume because she used her dagger as a cheese cutter," Hazel explained.

"Guess where she hid the perfume," I heard Percy say from my left. "My underwear drawer."

I looked toward him and saw Coral was with him. I raised my eyebrow at her. I wanted to know what she was doing in my boyfriend's underwear drawer.

"That was your idea, Percy. I just told you to hide it," she said.

"You never told me where to hide it!" he exclaimed.

"I don't care. I just want to know why your underwear drawer was your first choice," she said.

"That's where I usually hide things I don't want people to find," Percy said casually. I started laughing. "That's where I hide the underwear that Annabeth left at my house." I stopped laughing.

"What underwear?" I asked. Now it was his turn to laugh.

"I was joking, geez Annabeth. I gave those back to you, remember?" he asked. I knew he was joking. I just grabbed his ear and dragged him into the school. He's such a dork.

Hazel's POV

I watched Annabeth drag Percy into the school, who wasn't laughing anymore. He was saying, "Ow. Ow. Annabeth. Ow. My ear. Ow."

When they disappeared into the building, I looked at Coral who was standing there awkwardly. "Well...bye," she said.

Before she could run away, I said, "Wait!" She froze.

I walked over to her. "We haven't had a proper conversation. Why do you try to avoid me?" I asked.

She bit her lip. "I just...feel awkward around you," she said.

"Why? You're not awkward around Nico, my brother," I said.

"I know," she said quietly. "You remind me of someone in my childhood, whom I miss so much."

"Who?"

"Her name was Jasmine. She was my best friend in second and half of third grade. One day she disappeared. I was told she died walking home the other day. I swore I was going to avenge her death. She's haunted my dreams ever since," she said. I could tell she was about to cry.

"That's why you've been avoiding me?" I asked her, putting my hand on her back, trying to comfort her. She nodded, a tear falling down her cheek.

She took a deep breath and said shakily, "Let's go inside. We're going to be late."

I followed her into the crowded hallway. We went our separate ways to our lockers.

Frank was waiting for me at my locker. "You spending more time with Coral?" he asked.

"Not really. I found out why she's been avoiding me," I said.

"Oh. Why?"

"I remind her of a dead friend named Jasmine," I said.

"Oh. Wow."

"Yeah. I feel bad for her. I wish there was something I could do without revealing that I'm a demigod," I said as I grabbed my books out of my locker.

"Yeah. If only she wouldn't be freaked out if you brought her friend back as a spirit."

"Maybe I should just not hang out with her," I suggested.

"No. I think that she'll get over it soon," he said.

"No. I don't think she will. She said her friend haunted her dreams every night," I told him.

"Oh," he said as the bell rang.

Hey! What did you think? Please tell me. Any predictions?
