"I don't think you're real."

The world around him seemed to be collapsing. Was the dream over, if you could still call it that. Perhaps nightmare was becoming appropriate. If all of it wasn't real than that meant that his life wasn't real. His family, his life, his love. And the hood, maybe the hood was real and that scared him. When he had woken up to find that he wasn't the arrow he was relieved, happy. It meant no blood was on his hands and he had no obligation to push people away. He had been coming to this point for years but he was no faced with the fact that maybe that was a bad thing. Oliver loved his life.

His kids weren't real? That couldn't be. "Dont say that daddy. You're scaring me." Maribor ran into Oliver's arms tears running down her face.

"No, no I don't mean to scare you. But I don't know what to do." He hugged her tightly.

Suddenly a building, nearly as tall as Queen consolidated collapsed into dust. Felicity came running to the roof looking for Oliver. She knew something was wrong as he did.

"Oliver!" She yelled and ran beside Tommy.

He looked at her. She was so perfect. She was everything he could ever ask for and more. And for years she had tolerated his bantering and unsteady personality out of blind love. He didn't understand it, how someone like her could settle for someone like him. She could have had better, but she chose him because she loved him.

She knew some how that this time, there was no breaking Oliver from his illusions. He was set for good and there was nothing she could do. He was too far gone. Maribor released herself from her father and he ran to Felicity. Even in heels she was half a head shorter than him. And that thing that kept happening happened again. A moment when everything else in the works seemed to dissolve into the dark and it was just him and her standing there. He loved her so much, and if this was it, none of this was real, than how could it be a happy place? How could he ever be happy without her. He wished that from the second he had woken up that he could have weeknights, because life with her had been so great, so perfect. Even with the city falling to pieces there was no place he would rather be expect with her in his arms as she was right then and there. He had been in such a dark place and she was his light. She was, everything.

"Felicity I love you. I always will." He looked into her eyes and could see everything the last few decades had brought her. Pain, anguish, passion, love, sex, happiness, family, and then pain all over again. And it was the exact same in his eyes because they were the same. But her eyes were so much more beautiful and loving and patient. They were perfect. Everything about her was perfect. Her curves, ass and face. Everything. And after the moment passed he knew he would have to let it all go. She looked at him with tears in her eyes of the unknown. He couldn't break a smile but he held her tighter and lay her head on his chest. One last moment. Before Hell. Even a tear in his eyes escaped. She lifted her head to see it and more tears fell on her face. He finally, one last time, kissed her on the forehead and hugged her. One last time. He knew, that this was it. The fantasy was over. "Thank you. For everything. And I'm sorry" He said and looked off at the Queen consolidated building falling apart and crashing to the ground.

Oliver knew that it was over. Finally over.

Month 2, day 16.

Felicity had made a break through. Sleeping with your head on Oliver's bed while sitting on a chair was in fact, the least uncomfortable way to sleep in his room. Sure it screwed up your neck, but at least sleep was an option.

Felicity had fallen asleep an hour before. Oliver had 14 more days to wake up before they could pull the plug. Lately he was showing signs of improvement according to Farmington. So she was hopeful. She just wanted her friend back, her friend. He was her dear friend and she would talk to him, yell at him, tell him that Slade was waiting for him, but nothing seemed to work. Not even a smile. At least his brainwaves seemed good. At least his hand was moving next to her sleeping head. His hand was moving! She stammered awake her limbs going every which way. His had was moving! Really moving! His head too! And his eyes watered. As if he was waking from a sad dream.

"Ohh, my god." She winced covering her mouth at the shock. Was he? He was alive in there? This was it? "Oliver!" She yelled her knees momentarily collapsing making her body bob down, and back up. He heard that. That voice that could be non other than Felicity Smoak. He knew her. He knew that voice. It was so close he felt he could touch,it.

His fingers straightened as if he was reaching for something, but his arm didn't have the strength to do it. With a very short hesitation Felicity firmly grasped it holding his hand as tight as she could.

He knew that touch. But Oliver didn't know where everybody was or went. All he saw was dark. He didn't remember the rooftop goodbye to his family, or days before. It was as if a flash of dark had suddenly taken over him. Everything he had known for years was suddenly gone!

Everything he had known for years was suddenly gone! All the comfort in the world was now replaced by a single hand in his palm. It felt like a force had tore him from his lover, his life. He didn't want to let go. He didn't want to open his eyes. He thought he was ready but he was not.

"Oliver." Felicity said again. She was in between crying in sadness and excitement. By this time a crowd of nurses had come to the large window of his room. They could see from the monitors attached to Oliver that this could be it. "Oliver!" She yelled again even more persistent. And then everything was still.

He wasn't moving, barely breathing like before. She was motionless. Everything stopped. Everything was silent. It was as if he had slipped away again. She lowered her head in frustration fighting back more tears.

She felt anger.

She felt sadness.

She felt pain.

She felt a grip on her hand.

She lifted her head up looking straight at Oliver's face. He was looking back. He was awake.

"Felicity." He grumbled. His voice had no energy. He was woozy. He was slightly out of it but knew it was her. Felicity did all she could not to break down completely.

"Oliver." She whispered forming a smile.

"Where am I?" He asked very confused.

"Starling General. You have-" she couldn't think of anything else to say. Oliver looked around. All over the room and then back to felicity and her hand.

"Where's your ring?" He asked puzzled. She always wore her wedding ring.

"What ring?" She asked with a confused laugh.

"Your wedd.." He stopped himself and looked into her eyes. And suddenly it was all there. Collapsing buildings, his children crying, saying goodbye, felicity his wife. This wasn't the same place. This wasn't the same place... This was the other place. The other one, where his amazing life and the Felicity that loved him were gone, it want real. "No.."

I hope you like the way I ended the dream and hope it was worth the wait. If not, sorry. This has been my plan for a while. The chapter seems longer than it is at least to me. This is not the end of the story I promise. This is only the beginning. Please please please let my know what you thought of this, comment anything really. Comment what you want to happen even. Follow and fav if you want.

I like this chapter a lot and I know this chapter is going to be a gateway to an even more intricate story. Thank you for the support. I am very excited to hear what every one thought.
