You're Lost, I'm Found.

Chapter Twelve: Hero's Rising

Marinette threw her hands up in the air, a game console controller in one of them. "Woo hoo! Guess who won the last cookie?"

"Hey! Best two out of three then?" Adrien called back, reaching up for the controller.

After dinner, Marinette and Adrien decided to go upstairs and practice their Mecha combo moves while Nathalie and Sabine talked over some tea. The adults seemed to be enjoying themselves, as did the teens.

Tikki watched them from the crack of Marinette's purse. She smiled at them, but it faded away after thinking about what might come. Some of this was innocence. The fact they didn't really know they were partners in the superhero world. That's why timing was important. That's why Tikki needed Plagg.

Maybe they could both spill the beans...together. She figured maybe Plagg hadn't told Adrien yet because it was scary to do it alone…?

Usually Plagg would hide himself away underneath Adriens jacket, but the red Kwami looked down and Adriens bag on the floor. Knowing Plagg, he was probably stuffing his face in there while the two chosens were goofing around.

She slipped free of Marinette's purse and went into Adriens bag. The first thing that hit her was the heavy scent of cheese.

Uneaten cheese.

That was weird… Plagg never left cheese around long unless...oh god.

Tikki felt her little heart sink. Plagg wasn't here. Plagg wasn't with Adrien anymore. That's why he hadn't talk to him yet … Plagg never got to tell him!

And Tikki was under a magic spell...she couldn't tell Adrien her owner. She wasn't able to speak her name! She could tell Marinette that Adrien was Chat Noir...but...would she believe her?

Tikki peeked out one more time to Marinette and Adrien as they teased one another.

Marinette took the last cookie and split it in two. "You put up a pretty good fight, so I'll call it even and we'll share it."

"Oh my, how generous." Adrien laughed as he took his half of the cookie.

A few moments of silence passed by before Adrien's smiles faltered. Marinette, being the observer she could be, immediately picked up on the shift in demeanor. "Hey, are you… are you okay?"

Adrien leaned back in the seat and sighed. He still couldn't tell anyone his identity, could he? It seemed like a bad idea. Yet, did it really matter anymore? "I was just thinking about all the trouble that last Akuma caused Paris…"

Taking a moment to process what was said, Marinette's heart skipped a bit. "I know but, the hero's will take care of it."

"I'm just… I'm worried about Ladybug."

Tikki and Marinette both bit their bottom lips. For different reasons, but still for the same cause.

"She's never had to face anyone without Chat Noir coming at some point. I mean, closest time I can think of was when my bodyguard got akumatized but that's because I-"

"That wasn't your fault Adrien. Chat Noir told Ladybug that he was in a movie and didn't hear the alert."

Adrien's emeralds flashed to her, confusion in his eyes. "How do you... know that?"

"O-oh! I on read on blog Alya's...uh I mean, i read it on Alya's blog! Yeah!" Marinette laughed nervously but before Adrien could respond, their phones suddenly sounded off.

Both of their hearts plummeted.

Adrien, who clenched his phone with worry and hatred, watched the report roll across the screen.

Marinette, who's gut churned with the thought of being alone in this battle, sucked in a breath as she read; "It's Shadow Wielder…"

"He's been reakumatized."

. . .

Karina kept looking at her phone. She wasn't ready. She tried to tell herself that she was, but she couldn't. Would people hate her? What If she failed? She would let all of Paris down…

Hawkmoth would go all out on her for sure… a inexperienced superhero would not pair well with a mischievous super-villain.

Plagg hoped maybe Ladybug could handle this one...but even he worried for her. Shadow Wielder was obviously a tough opponent to tackle before.

"W-what should I do Plagg?"

The kwami turns to Karina, her hand clenched with the ring inside. Her eyes were pleading for guidance. She obviously didn't know what to do.

Which was just great.

"Look, I can't make up your mind for you."

She opened her palm again and gazed down. She had to… she had to help! But…

Maybe not this fight.

"I'm… I'm not ready. I'll try on the next fight. I don't think Paris is ready for a new Chat Noir. Much less Ladybug…" Karina pulled her legs in and grabbed the TV remote to turn it on. "But I will watch… just to make sure everything's okay."

. . .

Marinette sucked in a breath. Her parents and Nathalie had come up to check on them, but had left them in Marinette's room. Making it almost impossible for her to slip away from Adrien.

She had the News pulled up on her Computer monitor.

Both of the teens watched uneasily.

Adrien clenched his fists in anger of not being able to do anything, but also because whoever had his ring was not yet there. He worried why Ladybug hadn't come… but he could understand her hesitation. Maybe she would get Rena or something? That's what he would try and do.

Marinette, on the other hand, was biting at her nails nervously. What could she do? She couldn't get help because Master Fu was out of town. She didn't have Chat Noir… and plus, how was she going to get away.

Tikki poked at her side and looked at her with pleading eyes. Every second, more people were being turned into Shadows. Every second more people were hurt… she couldn't just sit here because of one person!

Adrien and Marinette jumped out of the chairs at the same time, their eyes locking awkwardly.

"Where do you think you're going?" Adrien looked at her curiously.

"Up to the balcony. I want to see how close the villain is."

"That's crazy! Do you know how dangerous that is?" Adrien threw his arms up and shook his head. "I'm afraid I can't let you do that."

Part of Marinette found it cute that Adrien was protecting her, but the other half needed to get up on that balcony and transform. "Look that's very sweet, but I can handle myself-"

Adrien grabbed her shoulders and looked into her eyes deeply. "You've already gotten hurt once because of this Akuma. That's my fault...but I've lost too much to lose my beautiful breeze of wind to an Akuma that I...that I couldn't defeat…" Marinette's heart stopped as Adrien shifted his gaze to the ground and tears started to swell up around his eyes. "Please. Stay here with me. So I can protect just one more person... "

Marinette locked up as she processed his words. "What...d-did you...just say?"

Adrien refused to look at her. He knew he just spilled the beans. She wasn't stupid… she heard him clear as day.

Marinette started to put the puzzle pieces together. The minor slip ups, the change in attitude, the lost ring… even him being the one to rescue her off the street. But...that's impossible! Tikki had told her…

She looked down to her side to see Tikki nodded a "yes" to her suspicions before looking away in a guilty glance.

Oh my God.

"C-Chaton?"

Adrien's eyes widened and he locked eyes with the shocked blues belonging to Marinette. She had backed away a few steps now, her hands over her mouth in complete shock. She just called him 'Chaton' nobody calls him Chaton. Except…

No way…

"...M'lady…?"

There was a moment of nothing but silence between them as if they couldn't believe this was real life anymore.

Finally, Marinette sucked in a breath, breaking the silence. "T-t-that's impossible! Tikki told me… you're still alive.. You're still alive!" She rushed forward, tears breaking free from their ducts, and hugged Adrien in a grip that nearly crushed his ribs. Her tears fell to that floor, but they were tears of rejoice. Chat was okay! Chat was okay! "I thought I really lost you…"

When her grip loosened a bit, Adrien placed a hand on her head to comfort her. A very small smile on his face. Though he was shocked that Marinette was Ladybug and that he had managed to find her on a whim like that.. Ladybug was right here all along… this world just loved mocking him. She sat behind him in class everyday! This whole time she's been right there. Marinette teased him on a daily, Marinette saved Paris almost every day, and Marinette had saved his life multiple felt his heart swell the more he linked Marinette and Ladybug together. He couldn't have been happier that she was anyone else. Marinette was the perfect Ladybug. "It's okay. It really is… I'm here. I'm alive… I'm so sorry you had to believe otherwise all by yourself."

At this time, Tikki zipped out from her hiding place and cleared her throat. "I'm terribly sorry to interrupt.. I know I need to talk to you both, but Shadow Wielder needs to be taken care of first!"

Suddenly Adrien realized that Marinette would have to fight without him and his heart ached. He knew...he knew she had no choice but to go. "I'm sorry I can't go with you…"

"Don't you dare apologize."

Adrien looked up at her in shock. "But-"

"I mean it Agreste!" Marinette turned away from him as her shoulders tensed up. "It was my fault for not protecting you… I would've, I should've… I could've done more! I let you down… I lost your miraculous! I had lost you…"

Adrien's heart felt like someone had squeezed it till is bled out all if could. Those tears that Adrien had seen when she woke up from her unconscious sleep… they were because she had lost him, because she blamed herself for what she believed to be Chats death.

...And yet this girl could still smile for him during all this time.

It was time to be that sunshine for her.

"Marinette, stop. It wasn't your fault! It wasn't anyone's. Shadow Wielder was too much. We just didn't fully understand his power. Now we do. Thanks to what happened, we know exactly what to do!" Adrien pulled her around to face him. "I know you'll defeat him Ladybug." Adrien grabbed her left wrist and tied on Marinette's lucky charm bracelet. "Besides. Now you can't lose."

Marinette wiped away her tears while she stared down at the bracelet. A smile formed as her looked up at Adrien with a flushed face.

Adrien pulled her into a protective hug. He worried for her. He really did. But he always trusted her.

As they separated, Tikki spoke up once again. "Adrien… I know this might be hard to talk about but. Plagg. How long has be been gone?"

Adrien swallowed, looking to Marinette as she flashed her shocked gaze to Tikki and Adrien. "He's...he's been gone since around 6 this afternoon. He told he felt the ring move. He knew he was about to go." The blonde choked back some tears. "He tried to tell me who you were,Marinette." He paused as she shot him a shocked look that caused him to catch his breath a little. "...but he was gone before he could spit it out. I-It really was just luck that we ended up finding each other anyway."

"I see…" Tikki looked down sadly.

"But...does that mean?" Marinette feared that worse as the look on both Tikki and Adrien's faces said all she needed to know.

"Yes. That means the ring of the black cat has been discovered by someone else and we may, or may not, see a new miraculous holder tonight." Tikki answered.

"But! When need to get the ring back to Adrien…"

"I know Marinette but… that may not be possible anymore. You would have to talk to the new holder and hope for the best. It's not like they'll know Chat Noir is still alive. Plus their identity matters too. We don't know who has the ring. This was not someone chosen by a guardian. We have no idea what kind of person this is going to be."

Adrien grabbed Marinette's hand, squeezing it tightly to reassure her before she continued. "It's okay Marinette. We'll figure it out."

She nodded, offering up a small smile for him. "And we'll figure that out as soon as possible. For now though…" Marinette looked to Tikki, taking in a deep breath in and out. "You ready?"

"Always!"

"Alright! Tikki, spots on!"

Adrien watched in awe as he watched her transform. He had always dreamed of seeing it… It was way more miraculous than he had ever imagined!

Ladybug walked over to him and smiled. "Don't worry, I'll be back Chaton."

As she turned to leave, Adrien grabbed onto her shoulder and pulled her back. "M'lady. Wait I…" his heart was racing.

Ladybug looked at him confused. "What is it Adrien?"

He sucked in a breath before his greens focused on her. "I'm glad it was you Marinette. There's not a better person to be Ladybug out there."

Ladybug's heart swelled up. "Thank you Chat… you're not a disappointment either- I MEAN- I'm just… I'm happy it was you Adrien. I definitely know why the guardian picked you."

Adrien chuckled a little. "I just got really lucky. Now, go get him! You've got this Marinette!"

Ladybug smiled and nodded at his encouragement before she took off to the balcony.

Adrien watched her closely until she was out of his sight, his stomach churning a bit now that he was alone. "Please… be careful."

. . .

Ladybug sucked in a breath as she felt the cool breeze of the night sweep threw her bangs. She currently placed herself on top of a nearby building overlooking the Pont des Arts. The moonlight fluttered on the water below the bridge, and the red suited superhero found her mind wondering if her and Chat would get to place their lock on the bridge. Chat had mentioned it once, claiming their love was already sealed in the arms of fate.

Heh. If only she knew back then…

Ladybug turned her back to the bridge and closed her eyes. She needed to find Shadow Wielder… and in order to do that, she needed to listen. To listen to the screams of fear… if she focused enough, she was sure she could-

Shreeeeeeek

Her eyes flew open and she swung her yoyo out towards the Eiffel Tower where she had pinpointed the terrified Parisians. Fire burned in her soul as she got closer to the akuma, closer to the screams, and closer to...darkness?

Lights around her suddenly started to go out. At first it was only a few, but then it became more frequent as she got closer to the chaos zone… seemed the center of the darkness became the Eiffel Tower itself. It was like a big power outage around the heart of Paris. One gigantic blackout shaped in a circle… like a black hole in the center of the city!

'Dang...I should've brought a flashlight with me… guess I better stay in the moonlight. It's the only chance I've got.' Ladybug thought as she jumped on the rooftops. 'Shadow Wielder must have shut off some of the power… he had enough time to. Took me too long to get here.'

But as soon as her feet landed on the roofs shingles, silence fell over Paris. It was the eerie… no cars sounds, no people screaming, no...no life.

Ladybug turned around slowly, doing a full circle of her surroundings. It was so quiet, the only thing she could here was her own racing heart and shaky breath. What exactly was going on here? It hadn't been like this only moments ago. Not until she entered the blackout zone...

"Oh please...you're actually going to try and fight alone? Ha! This will be fun!"

Ladybug's eyes widened as she turned around to see shadows rushing towards her, reaching for her body to drag her down into the street. 'If I go down there… I may not come back up!'

Ladybug jumped back in the nic of time to avoid being overtaken. Landing on the building next to her previous position, the hero scoffed, "That was cowardly! But then again, I guess you are pretty shady aren't you?"

"My oh my…" A low voice grumbled. "Seems we have to make up our own puns, now that Chat Noir is gone hmm?"

Ladybug clenched her teeth as Shadow Wielder jumped up from the streets, facing her directly, only a few yards away. "You should watch what you say around grieve stricken super-powered beings. Probably isn't the wisest decision…"

"Oh no! What might you do? Defeat me…?" Shadow Wielder cackled a laugh before dropping his gaze on her, his look serious, piercing into her very soul. "Show me then, insect!"

Ladybug didn't even know what hit her. One second, she was standing facing Shadow Wielder. The next, she was on her side after being knocked into a billboard that was several rooftops away. Her stomach throbbed as she attempted to stand up.

'W-what just happened?'

Before she had full time to process what exactly that occurred, another hard blow to the back sent her crashing down to the rooftop again with a Yelp.

A laugh followed, that of a girl.

'What?' Ladybug moaned a bit, pushing herself back up. The suit protected most of the blow, but she was still disoriented. 'But Shadow Wielder's power…'

"Heh, I wonder if you're smart enough or not. Have you figured it out yet?"

Ladybug looked up to see Shadow Wielder standing directly over top of her now, a menacing grin on his face that made her sick to her stomach. She knew exactly what had changed…

"Hawkmoth made sure to change my power just enough to throw you off you game, Ladybug. He's getting quite good at this, but you? Not so much!"

Ladybug was suddenly picked up by someone behind her, but when she turned her blues to see them, she was met with darkness. Darkness of a Shadow Person being controlled by the Akuma. "I thought if the shadows touch me, I become one of them!" Ladybug shot him a angry glare.

"Well, some new powers came with sacrifices of old ones. Honestly though, I prefer it this way...just one touch from me though and you'll be my shadow puppet to shape! But first...I'll need those earrings. Then once we locate the Ring of Destruction, his wish will finally come true. As will mine, to finally be appreciated and noticed." Ladybug watched as he stepped closer, his hands reaching out to her… but her eyes also focused on the news copter behind him filming the entire scene.

'This can't look good right now…' Ladybug swallowed. Of course it wasn't! How could she get out of this? 'Wait… his shadow puppets! It's like Trouble Maker...in order to touch me, they're touchable too!'

Ladybug flipped her holder over her back, launching the unidentified shadow into its commander. She quickly swung off on her yoyo, before Shadow Wielder could order more of his puppets to chase her.

She needed a plan, and she needed it fast. Ladybug had never realized how hard it would be to defeat an Akuma alone. Especially one like this… Style Queen was one exception but...Plagg helped her back then. This one had countless Shadow puppets to his disposal, he came with relentless motives and no humanity, and he power to guilt her...

The Parisian hero retreated to a well lit area outside the circle of darkness and placed her back against a wall. Her throat hot as she caught her breath, she began thinking about everyone that was counting on her. Alya, her parents, Adrien… she couldn't let them down, could she?

Shadow Wielder had darkened his surroundings so that she couldn't make his shadows disappear…plus, instead of releasing shadows from his gloved hand, he uses it to touch his potential Shadow beings and uses them to overshadow civians. No doubt if she was in her civilian form that the Shadow wouldn't have completely taken her over. This akuma was also using his puppets to attack, surround, and control her. They proceeded to make the city grow darker, thus making Shadow Wielder stronger too.

She slid down into a crouch, feeling suddenly every overwhelmed.

A pack of glow sticks wasn't going to cut it this time.

'What can I even do?'

. . .

Adrien nervously waited for live coverage of the attack as he looked down to his cell phone's screen. Nadia had come on air with news of an apparently blackout centering out around the Eiffel Tower. People had reported Ladybug going into the darkness, but no one had seen her since.

The blackness made it hard to see, meaning they could only see a few buildings into the darkness before the cameras picked up nothingness. Since there was no power in the area, they couldn't fly onto it either. Not to mention the fact they might be overshadowed by Shadow Wielder. Seemed that whole part of the city had gone completely quiet after the Akuma took over.

That only made the blonde worry more.

Suddenly, the cameras swung over to see Ladybug laying on the rooftop, her appearance rather frazzled. Nadia had just heard a loud crash, and the camera picked up the dent in the billboard sign.

Oh no…

Adrien's muscles tenses as Shadow Wielder knocked Ladybug back onto the ground again when she attempted to stand. Their words were not picked up well due to the distance between them and the helicopter.

But when Ladybug was being held up by that shadow puppet, Adrien knew this was no game.

Hawkmoth had switched up his powers. That Akuma was stronger than before, and sadly, they had not taken that into consideration.

Ladybug had no help this time either.

This was all his fault!

No. He has to believe Marinette knows what she's doing. She was no fool. She was witty, creative, and strategic. That girl could do anything…

He loved her God dammit.

Adrien watched at Ladybug escaped the Shadow puppet that was holding and fled into the light of the city. She looked at a loss here. He could tell. Her eyes shifted as she lowered down, back to the wall.

She really didn't know what to do.

Adrien felt his chest tighten as he fought back tears. She needed him. She needed Chat Noir.

Without much warning, a huge crash shattered the wall behind Ladybug and blew her forward. It was heavily unexpected, considering she was in the light zone…

But as soon as the explosion happened, the lights around several of the buildings shut off. The helicopter pulls back a little, but the camera stays focused on the Parisian hero.

The sight that was happening before his made his heart almost stop completely.

Several shadows gathered around Ladybug, all with evil grins plastered on their black beings. This looked really bad.

Ladybug stood up, holding her arm in pain from where she must have landed on it. She appeared to be saying something to the shadows as she backed towards the edge of the rooftop.

Adrien stopped breathing when one of the shadows rushed towards her in the blink of an eye before fusing into her body like a ghost.

What the hell was that?!

. . .

Her body was BURNING.

The shadow had appeared to be trying to attack. She had no idea it could just go inside of her.

It seemed it couldn't take control of her body, but it made her feel pain. The pain of the explosion.. the pain of being thrown into the billboard. Everything. It's like it was fighting off the magic that Tikki used to protect her.

And that alone meant that she was severely weakened in the battle. She was heavily on the disadvantage.

She shook like a leaf due to all the pain, but she still kept her defensive stance as the other shadow puppets came closer. Were they going to try and overshadowed her too?

That's when a loud whistle came out of the darkness and the puppets stepped back, their grins fading.

"Back down!" Shadow Wielder's voice boomed. "One of you is enough to do what I need…"

"R-really now?" Ladybug retorted, wincing in pain as she held her injured side. "I think you underestimate me."

"I think you have too much confidence in yourself." Shadow Wielder laughed as he quickly came up to her, grabbing her face with his ungloved hand and leaning in only inches away from her face. "Tell me, insect, do you feel the pain yet? Because if you don't, then you're about to feel a lot more of it!"

Ladybug spit in his face. Normally she wouldn't do such a thing, but this Akuma was definitely after more than just her miraculous. He was enjoying this!

But perhaps she knew it would come with a price to pay.

The hero was kneed to the gut, making her hobble over in pain. Her body wasn't used to this kind of aggressive action… being thrown around yes, but these were skilled attacks. She believe that even with the help of the miraculous suit, she'd still feel a bit of pain, but without protection? This was cruel.

She then was kicked to the ground by one of the shadow puppets. It hurt...God it hurt.

"It's obvious that you're not used to real combat with actual pain."

Ladybug finally was able to get a good look at Shadow Wielders features again. She knew that he had sounded much more aggressive that the last time, but now she felt as if maybe this was a whole other kind of aura. Almost as if his reason for being akumatized had completely changed.

But, it's not like she knew, she ignored him last time because she had lost Chat Noir.

He was reakumatized because SHE hadn't paid attention to him. Not even after he was deakumatized…

If this Akuma was akumatized because he wasn't being appreciated or noticed, then Ladybug did no help when she ran off that night… she hurt this civilian self too that day…

...and now he was getting his revenge.

"I-I'm sorry…" Ladybug choked out as she stood up, trembling. "No one isn't important. You being in this world is not a mistake. Even right now, you're changing my life too. For better or for worse, I am noticing you. I just wish I would have sooner…"

"Insect!" The Akuma grabbed her by the throat and lifted her up, her feet dangling. "You have no idea what it's really like! You're the hero! Everyone notices you and appreciates you!"

Ladybug felt like her eyes were about to pop out from the pressure. "I'm- doing….what's right!"

"What is right then?!" Shadow Wielder growled before throwing her forcefully on the roof, knocking the wind out of her lungs. "All of these people look at me like I'm not here. Everything I do is overlooked. At first I thought they were just keeping me in the dark. Now I realize they treat me like their shadows! Unimportant to your life, but always there when you expect it. Well now everyone will be my shadows. I will never go unnoticed… and I will provide them darkness to thrive in! Then they'll appreciate me too.. they all will!" He turned his back to the hero as she attempted to sit up, her chest heavy with what felt like fluid. "But first I'll have to get rid of the most appreciated person in Paris. Then I'll be doing what's right."

Ladybug had no time to prepare for the kick to the ribs that came, it felt like one had shattered. Was the even possible? However her piercing scream of pain confirmed it was.

Shadow Wielder looked up to see that the news crew had flown their helicopter over to film the scene. Their eyes were wide with terror, giving the Akuma great joy. His plan was going perfectly…

"Look at your hero now Paris!" He gestured to her as she coughed up small amounts of blood. "Your great protector isn't so great without her magic! It's pathetic…She is weak! A mere child!"

Shadow Wielder crouched down in front of the red suited hero and gazed into her pain filled eyes. "Maybe we should find someone better suited for the job…" He reached for her miraculous, a grin wider than ever as a purple butterfly came over his face.

"PAWS OFF THE LADYBUG, YOU SCUM!"

Suddenly, a silver baton stuck his face, sending the Akuma tumbling several yards back from where the injured hero was laying.

Shadow Wielder sat up, his hand on his forehead where he was hit. "Who in the blazing hell-"

Next to Ladybug stood a black cat suited female, her brown hair flowing free and green eyes burning like hell fire as she stood defensively, baton still in hand. "Me. And I'll die before I let you take anyone's miraculous here."

"You should choose your words carefully. I can definitely have that arranged for you. Haven't you met the last Chat Noir? Oh, wait…" Shadow Wielder grinned wildly. "This just keeps getting better."

As the purple butterfly came over Shadow Wielders face, Ladybug looked up the the new heroine. "Get outta here...before he gets you too. They need both miraculous to win anyway...if you leave then-"

"Then you die."

The words caught ladybug off guard, but she knew she wasn't wrong as she coughed up a little more blood. Damn. He must have punctured her lung when her rib snapped…

"Look I don't know a lot about this stuff. I can't explain it but I didn't even know that you and Chat Noir were real two days ago. Now I'm here and you're losing this fight! I can't just do nothing when this time...this time I have the power to do something!" The girl looked at her with pleading eyes. "I know you're important to this city. So don't you dare quit now!"

Ladybug swallowed. She was right. This girl just found the miraculous tonight, yet she still came out. Heh, at least she showed. The red hero pushed herself up, great pain on her left side as she coughed up more blood. She couldn't stop now… she could make it. Tikki's power could heal here too if she could defeat him.

"You got this, M'lady!"

"You're right, Chat…"

The new hero yelped as she was knocked off her feet by two of the Shadow puppets from behind.

"That's enough! I'm done with these games!" Shadow Wielder yelled, turning his attention to Ladybug. "You're finished, and you know it."

"Believe what you want…" She took her yoyo and sung it defensively. "But I will never be finished."

"Allow me to prove you wrong then!" He sprung forward to her.

Ladybug held her breath, knowing this was now or never. She glanced over to her new partner for the night as she struggled to fight she shadows. With a sharp inhale, the hero prepared herself.

...I hope this works!
