Jane grinned slightly as she entered her room on Risa. Thankfully, the other Enterprise had beamed her down to the vacation planet, leaving her with at least four more days there. Also, the woman at reception (hey, who said sex doesn't sell?) had told her that someone had come in looking for her and was waiting in her room.

She flopped down onto the bed as soon as she saw it, breathing in the familiar incense burning on a nearby table. The blonde hummed quietly in contentment. "Couldn't wait for me to get back onboard, huh?"

Her First Officer didn't open his eyes. "I merely wished to confirm you were enjoying your time off the ship, Captain."

Jane rolled her eyes. "Spock, drop the 'Captain'. You're my boyfriend who came to visit me on vacation." A grin crossed her face as she rolled over to look at Spock. "You could've just called, y'know."

"I did call; however, I did not receive a response." Spock opened his eyes to look at Jane. A grin spread across her face. "Would you care to explain your absence from your room?"

The blonde rolled back onto her back. "Aww, just admit it, Spock. You were either worried or jealous." Jane sighed after a moment. "It's a long story, and it's really weird. Wanna hear it now or later?"

Jim spun around in his chair thoughtfully. He was right back where he was two weeks ago, except now with a boyfriend. Suddenly, he spun towards Spock. "What was Jane talking about, you singing?"

Unfortunately for his First Officer, that managed to grab everyone's attention on the bridge. Without pausing or looking up, Spock replied, "I believe this is a conversation for another time, Captain." Jim rolled his eyes, returning to spinning in his chair. "However, I do believe my female counterpart sings."

The blonde nodded. "Yeah. And she was invited to that party on Betazed too…" He turned back to Spock. "You don't think she actually made it to the party, do you?"

"It would be illogical to assume that it would be impossible for her to have received the invitation sent out by Lwaxana Troi and not have been able to attend the party, if only perhaps for a limited amount of time." Jim nodded, taking it into consideration. "It would also be impossible for her not to have attended as I saw her for myself at Miss Troi's party."

There, Jim took a moment to stare at Spock. "Really? And no one bothered to tell me she was there?"

"I was under the assumption that she would have informed you herself if she had thought it relevant for you to know of her presence at the party." Spock raised an eyebrow, questioning Jim. "Was there no indication at all that my female self appeared at the party?"

Jim opened his mouth to reply but stopped. "I did find a note in my pocket when I woke up that I didn't remember putting there." The bridge was dead silent as everyone waited to hear what the note had said. "It said, 'Captain Jane Tabitha Kirk appears to be a very interesting woman. I find myself at a disadvantage of having of only been able to speak with her for a few minutes. In order to calm your mind in the result of my transport home, I am informing you that I was able to transport back to my reality and prevent the destruction of a planet. Live long and prosper, 'Miss Spock'.' I didn't really read it at the party." Suddenly, the captain realized the entire bridge crew had been listening. "Mister Sulu, you have the helm. I need to talk to Doctor McCoy about something. Mister Spock, you are free to come along." Spock inclined his head before motioning for an ensign to come take his place at his station.

After the two of them had got into the turbolift and the doors had closed, Uhura looked at everyone else on the bridge. "I believe I'm owed a couple of drinks from quite a few of you, including Doctor McCoy and Scotty."

A/N: Totally worth the month-long wait or not? Personally, I'd say not but I'd appreciate any feedback on this one guys! I've had a bad case of writer's block and school soo... AND I AM SO SORRY! I SWEAR I DID NOT EVEN REALIZE IT HAD BEEN NEARLY A MONTH YET! Thank you to everyone who has waited and suffered through my apparent escape into this terrible thing I call reality.
