So many wonderful reviews! I love you all so much for the encouragement you sent me and a special thanks to Rebellious one for her input and ideas. I don't think I could have had so many chapters out without your help.

Now for the gods in this chapter

Epiales or Melas is the god of nightmares and thought to be another son of Nyx.

Well, here is another chapter before I go to bed. Last night was a nightmare at work. I keep reminding myself that it is only my Monday and those are the worst days to get past. Wish me luck tonight.

Disclaimer: I wish I owned it, but I don't.

Harry awoke groggily as he untwined himself from the blanket and stepped onto the cold floor. A hand ran through his black hair. The battle had not gone better than he feared it would. Still, he wasn't looking forward to what the public would think.

No doubt Albus would make some large morbid speech condemning their actions. Something about how they had needlessly killed and there was some hope for their enemies redemption. A snort left his lips. "Redemption for the damned, yea right." He stated as a soft giggle left his lips and he grinned. Orthus perked his heads up to stare at him and Harry gently ran a hand over the black fur as Hedwig flew through the window to land on the bed post. She let out a soft hoot and Harry felt his eyes soften as he looked at her lovingly.

"Are you up for getting the Prophet for me girl?" He asked her and she puffed her white chest as she gave him an offended look for doubting her. He chuckled as she flew back out the window.

Shaking his head and smiling he moved to gather his clothes, gently moving a slumbering Zantose from his robe. He placed the groggy snake on his pillow and smiled as Orthus got to his feet, his two mouths opened in a yawn, showing large teeth as he stretched his giant body.

"You did well last night boy. You helped us save hundreds of kids. Come on and I'll get you a steak." Harry stated with a smile as he pulled his clothes on and led the way to the kitchen. A smile touched his lips when he saw his uncle Morris showing a gun to his dad.

"I'm telling you James, all you need is one bullet and you have one dead bad guy!" Morris exclaimed and James shook his head.

"And I'm telling you Morris, in the time it takes you to reload that contraption I can take out a dozen bad guys!" He stated loudly as Morris smirked.

"Not if you carry around a bunch of these." Morris stated with a Slytherin like grin on his conniving face as he pulled out a clip. In five seconds he had the old clip out and the new one in. "You said it yourself, those spells of yours drain your energy, with these babies you can kill a whole lot more of them and still have the strength to make love to your wife when you get home."

"Uncle Morris!" Harry called as he blushed, that was not something he wanted to hear his uncle and father talking about. Morris turned to face him and grinned, his eyebrows wagging.

"Come now boy, don't ruin your old uncles fun!" Morris stated and Harry rolled his eyes as he made his way to the freezer and put two thick pieces of steak on.

"Not something I want to hear." Harry grumbled darkly as he moved to start his own breakfast. The booming laughter he got from his uncle brought a small fond smile to his face as his grandparents came in. followed by the rest of the family and pretty soon everyone was talking about the advantages and disadvantages of magic and guns.

He rolled his eyes as he only half paid attention to them and served breakfast. The two steaks were placed on a plate, the bloody meet was scarfed down happily by the hounds and the southern breakfast was devoured by the family. Half way in Hedwig flew in with the Prophet clutched in her talons.

He gently unrolled the paper as he gave Hedwig a strip of bacon. As expected the scuffle had made the front page.

Yesterday a group identified as Death Eaters were reported to have shown up unannounced at Platform 9¾ where they proceeded to head straight for those gathered to begin the New Year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Luckily no students were lost as a group of unknown protectors showed up and fought against the Death Eaters, risking their lives to save the defenseless children. Those present had this to say:

"They came out of nowhere like avenging angels. The females moved to get everyone on board and keep the Death Eaters out and the males proceeded to drag the fight to them. One of them, a really pretty man with black hair and emerald eyes, had a two headed black dog with him. The dog was savage and vicious, but he didn't hurt anybody but the Death Eaters. They saved us."

Who are these saviors? Where are they now? Will they help to take down You-Know-Who? Some described them as seventeen year olds so of course I had to go to Hogwarts to find out just who The Wizarding World owes there children's safety to and was met by Albus Dumbledore himself.

He had this to say:

They are not saviors; they savagely killed men and women with no thought to the law and due process. They are killers and dangerous criminals and therefore should be treated as such and you can rest assured that they are not in my school or I would have had them expelled for such malicious actions.

I urge you not to turn a bunch of murderers who are no better than the Death Eaters into some sort of savior. I tremble at the thought of what that vicious beast would have done had any of the children not been on the train. It is safe to say the death toll would have been much higher."

I thanked the headmaster for his comments but I have one question that glares out at me as I listened to the accounts of yesterday's battle.

Where was the headmaster when the battle took place? Why did the aurors not arrive until the battle had been won? Professor Dumbledore calls them murderous and yet without them how many would we have lost?

As a father I am most thankful for their presence and shudder to think of my own daughter who will be joining her third year of schooling, lying dead because help came too late to save her.

Are they saviors or murderers? I leave you to decide.

The Daily Prophet

-Gregory Stickman.-

Harry folded the paper as he passed it to Hermione. A thoughtful look was on his face as the words tumbled over in his mind.

Albus

Albus Dumbledore sat rigidly in his chair as yet another howler exploded. The interview had not gone as well as he had hoped it would. Parents were furious that he would call their children's savior anything but heroic. He was not prepared for such a fallout.

He consoled himself with the fact that soon they would see reason, if they wanted the dark forces destroyed they would need to rely on his wisdom, and once Harry Potter was back in his fold he would be held as a saint.

That they dared to question him left him rigged with fury. It would have served Stickman right if his simpleton of a daughter had been killed. Who did he think he was to go against him? He was Albus Dumbledore, leader of the light and a bunch of thugs would not usurp his position!

His hand thudded against the table in anger as a snarl left his lips. Stickman would pay for that article. He would make them see how much they needed him. They were mindless sheep, nothing more.

Nyx

Nyx watched the mortal from the shadows; a dark smile turned her lips at his anger. The man held delusions of grandeur and her soon to be son in law was chipping away at his grandfatherly persona. He would pay for his crimes, of course. She would make him pay for everything he even thought of putting Harry through.

She allowed the shadows to take her to her son who sat in his thrown, his black eyes distant ad no doubt his mind was on his bride. "Mother," he greeted her as he peered up into the shadows she had concealed herself in. She stepped out with an incline of her head.

"Thantos," she greeted barely containing the smirk at his glare. He detested that name, but she didn't truly care. "It seems your little bride has upset the old fool." She stated and Hades smirked.

"He will be a lot more than simply upset once I am done with him." He stated omanisly.

"You do have something planed for him then?" She asked with a quirk of her eyebrow.

"Epiales has agreed to visit him tonight." Hades stated easily and Nyx let out a laugh of approval.

"Your brother does enjoy playing with the minds of Mortals." She stated and Hades inclined his head.

"Indeed, he seemed to perk up at the thought of visiting the fool. I should think the fool will fear to close his eyes after such a daunting visitor." Hades agreed nonchalantly.

"Yes, he must be quite curios about the mortal who has earned your anger." Nyx stated as her eyes danced with mirth. Today was getting better and better.

"He did state as much, thinking I would not allow another to partake in my revenge or he would have visited him days ago." Hades stated as he sat back in his thrown, a dark smirk curved his lips.

All right my lovelies; here is another chapter for you. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. Don't forget to review!
