We are back to Star Wars: Clone Rebellion.
So we are up to episode 12. I haven't decided on how many chapters I will have before I continue to season 2.
Also, sorry for the long wait. I haven't had the motivation to write in a while. I still write regularly, but not as much as I hope to achieve.
I decided whether or not to do my next story that is a prequel to Star Wars: Clone Rebellion (Season 1). I have already started, but I need time. Send reviews to me whether or not to do that before I continue to season 2.
I've already done 'Into The Darkness' Arc Episode 1
Also, I've recently found out that I have been using the name Jessie (for Jesse) when using the "I" as a different version of the name. I won't be updating it for a while to fix these errors. Maybe after I finish Season 1.
BTW, please go to the Facebook page 'Star Wars: Clone Rebellion' and give it a like so I can give easier updates to you fans! :D
Well enjoy!
An alliance formed! Ahsoka Tano forges an alliance with the rich and respected Senator Bail Organa! The group is assigned to stay on Alderaan for the night and do what they must the next day! They crusade for the galaxy will continue! On Yavin IV, the Clones on ground are stuck alone, awaiting for the Jedi and their Clones to return for them!
Yavin IV:
The A6 Juggernaut tanks were sitting in idle while forty of the four hundred Clones were outside. It was still raining after all this time. Yavin's winder season wasn't very kind at the moment. You are easily prone to colds and being in very cold areas when you have a cold could do harm to you. The armor on the Clones bodies was enough to keep them from getting wet, but the moister was really making the metal on them very cold.
A regular armored 501st Clone sighs. "Why are we even out here? It's cold and we don't need to be out here."
"Commander Tano said that the Death Watch is lurking around Yavin. They are in a few camps around here and they could strike anytime and we must be ready for them." The Clone leader answers.
"Oh, so we are getting into a fight soon, sir?" The first Clone asks.
"I cannot promise such things, but if you are lucky you may have a lot to deal with." The Clone answers.
After the Commander had finished his sentence, in the far distance to the east orange glows lit up the sky. There was about thirty of these glows and everyone was staring at them. The glows were so strong that it made the blue 501st armor glow more orange than the 212th Clone Armor.
"Sir, what is that?" Another Clone asks.
The Commander steps two feet forward and brings down his extended visor. It was a visor used for when you either were in the swamp or out at night. The Commander focused on the flying figures and they were getting closer. The challenge for this was keeping sight of them. Zooming in and looking at them made getting a good sight competitive. But the Commander of the group didn't give up and took a attempt at looking. As the figures were thirty seconds away, they quickly come into perfect view of the Commander. The Commander brings down the visor seeing enough.
"Death Watch! Get into positions men!" The Commander orders.
"Yes sir!" Everyone replies.
The drivers to the Juggernaut tanks saw the incoming figures and could easily tell it was the Death Watch attack.
"Get the men and cannons ready!" One driver from each tank ordered.
The top front cannons of the Juggernaut tanks activated and aimed at the Death Watch Troops coming into attack.
"Fire!" The drivers from each tank commands and the cannons rapidly fire at the flying targets.
The Death Watch saw the cannons firing at them. They knew the cannons lasers were hard to dodge, but the rain hitting them was making it hard to flee from and go around. Three Death Watch members were killed in the bombardment of cannon fire and continued to drop like flies.
The Clones on foot hid behind crates laid out from the Juggernauts. One Clone with a Z-6 Rotary Blaster Cannon got cover behind some circle crates that were colored red and white. The crates were full of ammo and rations. They would make temporary cover until help would come. Other Clones had DC-15A Rifles and most had places to get cover behind.
The remaining Death Watch assault force lands not far from the Clones and discharged their weapons from their thighs or backs. The choice of where their weapons came from depended on what kind it was. Blaster Pistols was basic weaponry, so they were strapped to their thighs. The ones with Rifles have a sticking out poll near their jet packs carrying them. It had a reliable grip that would keep the weapon in place, and not hang back down the the packs thrusts.
The Death Watch was in firing range of the lone Clone Troopers and went to engage in combat. The Clones did the same.
Laser fire draws all around the area. since there was less Clones, the Death Watch members remaining in that area would try to over power the Jango Clones. These Death Watch members were pure survivors as proven right now. If one group of Mandalorians were winning at war, then the other would do their best to escape or die fighting. It appeared to be that these ones were smarter than others who only believe in honor with power.
Three 501st Clones were mowed down in an instant as a few Death Watch members jumped behind a line of cover. More Clones came from the Juggernaut tanks to join the battle. In smaller numbers, the Death Watch was proven to be the losers of today. Their attempt at an attack was too bold and stupid. It wasn't coordinated an didn't appear to have a field Commander to back them up. A true assault squad should always be prepared and organised.
More Clones departure from the two tanks and fired at the remain Death Watch members, firing DC-15A Rifles. The newly released Clones got the chance to take down a few Death Watch member who were charging and either fell to the ground, or fell on the crates.
The fight ended with the Death Watch defeated and killed as the results of the battle. However, it did not mean there wasn't anything lost on the Clones side. checking the body count, there had appeared to be twelve dead. The Commander didn't like this. They now knew where they are. Does this mean even more will come? They are in separate camps, maybe... So maybe they didn't have a solid plan really. Perhaps they should just pick off the Death Watch in a large group one by one.
He was in charge of the operation to guard the mountain from any arriving Imperial or threatening forces. Commander Tano wasn't here to give out the proper instructions for dealing with said situation. While she wasn't here, another Clone with unknown potential would have to step up and take matters into his own hands. It was the only way. He would still need to contact Ahsoka anyway since it was his responsibility to do so.
He went to the front deck where the cockpit of one of the Juggernauts were. The drivers paid attention to the field leaders actions who in the end went to the holo terminal behind them ten feet away. He proceeded to contact the Sharkbite, which was far away above Alderaan.
Alderaan orbit:
Admiral Maddax stood with four of his workers on the bridge. They were doing scheduled maintenance which was now more common since the Imperials may or may have not upgraded their spy systems. However, safety was needed in case something was to happen. Just then the holo terminal near by starts up. Power within the terminal start to bring an added image of the Clone in command on Yavin IV. The Commander was standing waiting for someone to answer.
"Field Commander, what is the situation?" Maddax asks.
"A number of members from Mandalore called Death Watch attacked our convoy and we are worried that a second wave will be here soon and we will be over powered. We need Commander Tano here now or we will be forced to do an all out assault." The field Commander says.
"Commander Ahsoka Tano isn't available right now. I'm afraid she is still on surface and cannot do much right now. If you must, do what you can to defeat the Death Watch. They are a threat we cannot have running around Yavin IV and we cannot control Yavin IV with rivals trying to attack us." Maddax says.
"Understood sir. Please tell the Commander when she comes back." The field Commander says before cutting the connection from his side.
Alderaan:
Ahsoka and her 501st friends had picked out their quarters, and later walked down a large hall with red carpeting just like the one in the Jedi Temple, but this one was not violated with dead bodies and Blaster Carbine scoring.
"So, what do we do?" Fives asks. "The Senator told us to stay for the night, and we haven't tried contacting our squads on Yavin IV."
"I think it is just a suggestion to stay here. The Senator wouldn't just force us here against our own will." Ahsoka says.
"Then what do we do? We could probably travel to other other worlds." Rex suggests.
"How about we storm Kamino? I heard of some antidote for our rapid ageing that was in production in Tipoca." Fives also suggests.
"I think we should head on back to Coruscant." Ahsoka says.
Everyone looks at Ahsoka with shocked expressions.
"Back to Coruscant? Why?" Rex asks.
"I wish to head to the Jedi Temple again. While it has possibly been robbed, I really wish to see if we can find any lost Datacrons in the wreckage." Ahsoka answers.
"If we need to return to Coruscant, we'd have to take Shuttles with easy ways to avoid contact with Imperials. I doubt any of us could get around them unless we disable the sensors above planet." Rex says.
"Agreed." Fives says.
Ahsoka's group walk outside of the palace and vendors and small markets all over the silver city. People of all different types of races looked over each store with interested looks. There were mainly humans in the main square of this place. It was pretty bright out here and there was barely any shadows in alleyways to be shown.
Ahsoka's Clone Trooper allies kept their helmets to their sides with their utility belts carrying them. The day light was making their armor glow like suns in orbit of planets. If a Kaminoan was to see their armor here, their eyes would see the appearance of them had super strong over colored looks. Their vision of Clone armor appeared in interesting colors from their point of view.
Ahsoka had 15,000 Republic credits on her. The concept of using Republic credits now is no longer optional. Since the Galactic Republic's transformation into the Galactic Empire, credits have been changed so they were shown to have been made for the Imperial age. No one really saw the point of this change, but the Emperor ordered it anyway. It was just a waste to change galactic funds like this, especially when you are paying credits for making new credits.
As Ahsoka's group walked around the market, six people with interesting outfits were walking up to stands and checking them swiftly. Ahsoka and the Clones caught this strange act and kept watchful eyes on the suspects.
The thing that was hard to tell about them was what race they were. They looked hard to tell because their heads were covered in helmets and robes that appeared native to anything giving by the Republic, or the Empire.
"Keep your eyes on those six, they're up to something and I want to find out." Ahsoka says quietly to her Troops.
Rex and the boys nod and watch the six go down a staircase to a lower market. Ahsoka's group follows them slowly and stops at the top of the stairs.
Since walking after the six masked strangers, people all around the market drove their attention to the Jedi and Clones in cover watching. The people decided to ignore them thinking it was Imperials coming to take people for questioning The Jedi was what they all guessed was a corrupt Padawan on the Darkside.
The six masked beings walked past the middle of the lower market and ignored the people walking around and pushing ones in front of them rudely without any apologies to offer the by standers. They were clearly looking for someone, and Ahsoka could tell that it wasn't something that was justified.
There was a lone woman standing near the edge of the market the lead of a ledge behind her. She had orange hair and she was busy with a handheld device she was tapping onto. She appeared important from a fair sight. She seemed like she was over working herself a lot, as by her tired expression. These six brutes were coming for her and Ahsoka didn't know why. Ahsoka knew that the woman was someone she knew. Yes she could tell by her visual elements. Mon Mothma, Senator Organa's friend in the Senate. She was here on Alderaan, but it was hard to tell what she was really up to.
The first thug waves his hand to his group, indicating he wanted the other five to trap the Senator and leave her with no place to escape. Senator Mothma notices this a little to late and her spot was surrounded making her trapped by the group. The main thug walked forward slowly and grabbed the orange haired Senator roughly by the shoulder. Mon Mothma get's outraged by this man's behavior to her, as he clearly didn't learn any manners from anyone.
"Unhand me!" Senator Mothma yells in disgust, hoping to alert security in the black market.
"No, I don't think I will. We've got a bounty on your head that we want to collect. You are worth more to us alive than dead, and we'd prefer our prize to be undamaged." The leader said.
"I am not your prize!" The orange head woman protests against the thug.
"It's our job, don't make this more difficult than it already is." A thug next to the leader says.
In the background, Rex wanted to stop these thugs right now. But his Commander could give him the call.
"Commander?" Rex asks.
Ahsoka had already knew what the 501st Captain was asking. Watching and being a bystander was terrible, when she knew it would harm others in the return.
"Rex, we all will go and save Senator Mothma." Ahsoka replies. "Let's go."
Ahsoka and her Clones exit their hiding spot and go down the steps running after Mon and saving her from the six thugs. Tup, Kix and Rex cover the left, and Jesse, Fives and Ahsoka cover the section to the right, barricading them. Tup, Jesse and Kix have DC-15S Carbines aimed and Rex with Fives had their DC-17 Hand Blasters ready and aimed. Every thug was a first hit target if the Clones had decided to shoot.
The thug boss grew a foolish smile under his helmet and let go of the Senator. He went between his thug members and raised his hands stretched out diagonally in a peaceful looking manner.
"Imperials, Imperials..." The thug says smugly. "I see you've followed us out here to get the Senator you wished for. She's right here awaiting to be taken to the Emperor."
Kix and Tup sightly shifted their weapons down in confusion to their statement, Fives then gave them a wave up meaning that they needed to keep their weapons focused.
The leading thug saw the one Togruta in particular with the two Lightsabers clipped to her belt. He found this surprising consider that Jedi were people on the Imperial hit list intended for killing.
"A Jedi? Or are you the Emperor's new apprentice working for the Empire?" The thug asked.
Ahsoka was about to protest to that statement, but then she got an idea.
"Yeah, that's correct. I am the Emperor's new apprentice. He has ordered me to follow you onto your lead. He wishes for me to collect the Senator and take her in for questioning." Ahsoka says trying to sound Sith-like to the thugs. It apparently worked for thugs to be fooled.
"Bring her to the Imperials, boys!" The leader ordered to his thugs. The thugs did as they were told and all grabbed the Senator. She wasn't strong enough to take on five of them dragging her along. They were fat and strong brutes. The brutes basically throw her to the Jedi Knight. Ahsoka catches the Senator barely and looks into Mon's eyes who look at the Togruta in confusion. Ahsoka knew that the thugs would catch on if she didn't do anything else to look like a Sith, so she handed the Senator to her Captain Rex.
"Captain, be sure she gets a warm welcome from the rest of the Imperials." Ahsoka says sounding rough.
"Yes, Commander!" Rex says trying to work through Ahsoka's plan.
Rex brings Mon Mothma in an arm and drops his left weapon into his left holster. He continued to aim at the thugs however, everyone did.
Mon Mothma was brave, foolishly brave. She constantly stamped on the Clone Captain's foot and it left a lot of pain he needed to yell off sometime later. Now was not the time for it. But he could whisper the plan into her ear.
"Senator Mothma, ma'am, you have nothing to fear from us. We are here as Senator Organa's guests. Please, stop stomping on my foot! It's really hurting me!" Rex pleads to the brave Senator.
Mon now understood why Ahsoka was acting like she did. She was covering her appearance as a Jedi with a large bounty on her head by playing as a fake role as Darth Sidious' apprentice.
The thug leader then decided to speak again. "Wait, my lord! What about our payment Sidious promised us?"
Ahsoka knew that this was the critical part of saving Mon from these six goons. They seemed to be aggressive and Ahsoka could sense that they were suspecting a betrayal among the 'Sith apprentice' and and five Troops. They had suspected the truth from what action will come next.
"Arrest them!" Ahsoka shouts trying to alert her men to act quickly and get the market guards attention.
Each Clone picked their targets trying to keep the brutes from doing anything highly foolish. The brute leader's jaw snapped wide open as he saw the betrayal right before his eyes. Of course, Ahsoka didn't betray the thugs. She wasn't a Sith, nor would she work with the Empire.
"So, you've decided to betray us?!" The leader asks in outrage.
"I never did betray you, we are not Imperials, we are the Republic." Ahsoka says with a serious quiet tone.
"We are Soldiers, we are heroes, we are savors." Rex says continuing from Ahsoka.
"We are selfless, we are keepers of the peace, we stop uncivilized acts." Fives says after Rex.
"We are bred, we are trained, we are warriors." Kix says continuing from Fives.
"We are protectors, we are the galaxies shield, we are it's defense." Jesse says continuing from Kix.
"We are a heroic army, we fight as individuals, and we fight together." Tup says continuing from Jesse's lines.
"WE ARE THE REPUBLIC!" All six of the Republican front line warriors shout.
This speech that the six did actually intimidated the six thugs and made them shake. They weren't armed for a small skirmish like the Clones and Jedi was. The thugs then decided to escape by being stupid and jumping off the edge. It was a ten foot drop, but these thugs appeared to be good at landing on their feet. Ahsoka and her group ran to the edge to find out the thugs were good at landing. Ahsoka didn't know what species these six fools were, but she knew she'll confront them sometime in the near future.
Mon Mothma, who saw the thugs jump the cliff from behind decided to thank the group of six Republic heroes. She remembered seeing Ahsoka quite a few times with Padme and saw her trial too. She was glad Ahsoka decided to re-join the Jedi Order and even more so that she was alive, and with a group of Clones to back her up!
"Master Tano?" Senator Mothma's voice calls from be hind the Knight ranked Togruta. "I'm so glad you've survived the Jedi Purge. Thank you for the assistance."
"Uh, Senator Mothma, it was no trouble. You're fine now." Ahsoka says.
"That was some speech you six did. Tell me, when did you create it? It sounds like it is full of pride and honor." Mon says interested in the Jedi and Clones.
"Actually, it just happened just then." Ahsoka says confused.
"Yeah, it was very strange to happen." Rex says supporting the Commanders statement.
"I wonder if it will happen again?" Ahsoka asks. "Well, it doesn't matter, as long as your safe Senator."
"I was beginning to think all the Jedi, apart from Masters Yoda and Kenobi had fallen into the Imperials trap, it's good to know that at least three Jedi have survived this tragic loss." Mon says.
"Master Kenobi is here. And so is Jedi Master Takaata Omen." Ahsoka says.
"Another Jedi? It seems that we are finding more and more survivors every few days." Mon says. "I'm actually surprised that you've taken the liberty to have Clone Troopers at your side. I thought all Clone followed orders."
"Eh, not all orders, ma'am." Kix says. "We are bred to follow them, but only we can choose whether or not we decide to. All of us here follow what is the good path, so we've gone rouge with a questionable amount of Clones and we're taking the fight to the Empire. Of course, we have to wait for when the time is right."
"Ah, I see. I guess I owe you my life for keeping me from getting kidnapped by those six rude fools." Mon says.
"Yeah, and I think our Captain Rex here is in a bit of a pain with the foot smashing you have him." Jesse says quietly snickering beneath his helmet.
"Oh yes, I do recall doing that. I'm very sorry Captain Rex, I hope you don't take it personally." Mon says feeling sorry for the Clone she tortured with her foot.
"It's alright ma'am. I've had much worse happen since the start of the Clone Wars. This is just a smack compared to what I got in a battle with General Skywalker." Rex says.
"Well, I am glad I didn't do serious harm to you just because you were trying to save me. I really appreciate your assistance." Mon says pulling her hand up to Rex, who was requesting a friendly handshake for forgiveness.
Rex reaches out to the Senator's hand without any hesitation. Once their hands met up, they give a shake that was brief but respectful enough to the Torrent Company Captain.
"I hope to see you all again soon. I have to head into Bail's palace to give a report." Mon says.
"Maybe we should accompany you, you know, just in case there's more trouble after you?" Ahsoka suggests to Mon.
Mon smiles at the seventeen year old with warmth in her heart that could fill anyone with happiness. No wonder why her Clones stayed with her. She showed compassion to everyone trying to do their best, and it paid off by sparing her life and showing who her true allies are. Her Clones must be very proud to work with her. No regrets with working against the new system in official control of the galaxy.
"Don't worry Ahsoka, there's security up on the main level. They'll spot me if I end up in trouble. But, thanks for you kindness." Mon says starting to leave. "Farewell, and may the Force be with you."
Ahsoka looked as the orange haired Senator walks safely to Bail's palace through the public market. At least she didn't get taken by the thugs and handed to the Emperor. She was an wise ally to have.
"What shall we do now, sir?" Rex asks.
"There's too much crime in the galaxy at the moment. I think we need to at least secure one planet. We can't stay here for much longer." Ahsoka says.
"We can't be certain that we'll be successful in taking a planet. Which ones do you think are easist to get under our control?" Rex asks.
"I know Senator Ryo Chuchi from planet Pantora. She has always wanted to bring peace to her people and the galaxy. Now she must be a target of the Emperor. I don't want her to have suffered a terrible fate. I wish to have Pantora protected from future invasions. I choose Pantora, Rex." Ahsoka says.
"Very well, Commander." Rex says. "When do we leave?" Rex asks.
"Now." Ahsoka says.
Yavin IV:
The 501st had taken both A6 tanks into one of the located camps held by the remaining Death Watch. The Clones managed to advance since they had the heavy support of the Juggernauts on their side and they had vehicles that proteched them from being blasted to death. The Death Watch on the eastern camp was easily dispatched and secured.
"Camp one is secure sir!" A Clone announces to his leader.
"Good, but we still have two more to finish off." The Clone field Commander says. "Get the tanks prepared for another assault!"
A Clone behind the Commander walks to his side."Sir, shouldn't we be staying at our position awaiting for Commander Tano to arrive? She might not be pleased by us abandoning our duties."
"The Commander is more reasonable than you think. She'll understand what we've had to do." The field Commander says.
"Yeah, you're probably right." The Clone says accepting the way they were doing their mission. Having the Death Watch here would cripple their plan of ever securing themselves a new base.
"Camps two and three are in the north of the mountain and the last one is in the west. We'll need our full man power to finish off the two camps since they are very close to each other." The field Commander explains. "Be ready for anything they throw at us."
"Sir yes sir!" All Clone shout at their leader.
The Juggernauts then proceed to get to the two camps with the Clones ahead scouting the area of any on coming Death Watch members. The track they were going on was full of bumpy surfaces. The Clones could barely walk over everything since stone had been buried in the ground and the sharp tops of them were poking out.
It was going to be hard to get over since it would take a very long time to get around the other way to the west. They didn't need to take on the west camp right now. Harder places like the north would have to be done first. Hardest parts first, easiest places last.
The Juggernauts open up their back passages and four BARC Speeders launch. The riders of the Speeders were Clones, one rider on each.
They ascend ten feet into the air and fly over their brothers walking beneath them. The point of the scouts was to see what resistance the northern camp would have. In large numbers, Death Watch would normally have been an remarkable threat, as they were during the course of the Clone Wars. Now it seemed like that since they've been defeated, they've finally lost all spirit of the Mandalorian manner. It insulted their ancestors from the highest generations of Mandalorian leaders. It must have even made Canderous Ordo roll in his grave.
"If I am correct, the Death Watch will be finished in a short time. Maybe then, we could use whatever they've got in store and use it against them." The field Commander says.
"Well I hope we get to do some serious damage to these fools!" A Clone with a Z-6 Rotary Blaster Cannon cries. "I'm itching for a fight!"
"Yeah, well don't chew on more than you can swallow, Kez." Another Clone with a DC-15A says to the fight wanting Clone.
"Yeah, yeah!" The Clone apparently named Kez says. "We'll show the Death Watch what real strength is of a true hero of the Republic!"
"Cut the chatter Kez, we don't want our voices attracting the enemies attention. They'll know that it's us and they'll find ways to do more harm then we want." The field Commander says.
"Sorry sir, I'm just excited to start the fight." Kez says.
The field Commander then turned his attention to their path and tried all they could to avoid falling on the jagged rocks dangerous to their bodies.
In the distance, the four BARC Speeder Clones were riding in teams of two each. There were two teams all up and they would be scouting the north camp that belonged to the Death Watch. It was a joined camp, connected with another one. The two camps had been joined, becoming their apparent main base.
As the Speeders being piloted by Clones came across to the path right near the camp, they saw the yellow glowing lights of their inhabitants of the camp. They could make out blue armor that was of the Death Watch moving around on foot, unarmed and weren't paying attention to the Speeders. The sounds from the Speeders were quieter out on the surface of Yavin IV at this time. The rain was heavy and it helped block out half the sounds out in the wilderness and anything within their range.
Then the Speeders went to split up on both sides assenting higher into the air above their camp so they could avoid as much possible weapon fire the Death watch may serve at them.
"Alright, we all know the plan. Take good looks all over the camp for easy to spot deadly weapons. Ignore the small stuff your vision sees, the important stuff is all we need to see right now." The leading BARC Speeder Clone explains to his group.
"Got it sir."
"Sounds easy enough."
"Loud and clear."
The Clones knew what to do. All that mattered was discovering dangerous stuff.
Above the camp, the Clones saw what looked amazing to see with their own eyes. This place had lit fires in small pits everywhere to keep the place light. The pits were protected by cover sheets and the ground around the pits were covered in very dry dirt. There was Death Watch members everywhere in the camp. Some Death Watch ships were on the other side of the base near a steep rock wall. The wall was twenty feet high. There were tents and wooden buildings which were made from what the Clones could guess was the best of the abilities. Really they probably could have done much better to create better comfort.
Around the edges of the camp, black turrets were facing out towards the areas outside of the camping zone. There was no one operating them at this point, but the Clones couldn't tell whether or not they were auto-turrets placed so they if the Death Watch members were to need sleep at once, the turrets would remain functional. Power however would be the big cost for using such machinery.
There was something in between both camps opposite from the pathways that the Speeder pilots had caught with their scanners. A large four legged missile launcher appeared to be standing with it's cannon aiming at 160 degrees. pointing back behind the mountain. The cannon was silver and blue with a big shine due to the fact that the rain wasn't covered over it with tents. It didn't need protecting from rain judging by it's new look it is presented with.
"Whoa, whoa check that spot over there. What kind of weapon is that?" The BARC Speeder leader asked.
"It looks like a missile launcher of some kind, sir." Another answered.
"I know that, but it looks a lot newer than Mandlorians could afford from anywhere." The BARC leader says.
"So, what makes you say that they paid for it? They could have stolen it for all we know." The other Clone asked.
"It looks too new to be stolen from anywhere. Artillery like that would be highly secured somewhere hidden safe from the Death Watch could get into." The BARC leader says.
"Well, we could always try to take it out in these." Another Clone with a gruff voice says threatening to challenge the Death Watch further.
"That's foolish and you know it. Stick to the plan and don't lose focus of our goal." The BARC leader says.
"Oh yeah? I bet I could take on the whole camp of the Death Watch! They couldn't stand a chance against me!" The tough Clone says.
"Stick. To the plan." The BARC leader says firmly.
"I wish you'd be a lot more fun than this, sir." The tough Clone says disappointingly.
"We've got many important battle ahead of us Trooper. We don't want to lose one of us, just to prove a point." The BARC leader says.
"Whatever." The tough Clone says.
After doing a round of the double camp, the the four Clones then traveled back to their squad they were stationed with. They needed to warn them of this missile crisis.
"We need the field Commander to check our moves we make. The Death Watch are eventually gonna realize that their eastern camp friends are no more." The BARC leader says.
"Or we could always just take them out faster than they attempt to contact them?" The tough Clone suggests.
"Not now." The BARC leader grumbled.
Just as the conversation between the two Clones had ended, red Blaster shoots darted past everyone of their heads. They managed to look back. Death Watch was hot on their tails using their jet packs to keep us with them. They were using their classic dual Pistols and were trying to kill the Republican Troops before word got out about their ultimate weapon.
"Death Watch!" The BARC leader exclaims. "Drop their heat Troopers!"
The Clones answer by looking back towards the Death Watch with jet packs. They were counted up to four. The Speeder Clones had DC-15S Carbines and did all they could to hit the Death Watch. The rain wasn't helping the situation one bit. It was a mere game of cat and mouse. They were mice getting blasted by cats.
The Death Watch members were good at dodging the Clone Blaster fire. They were small targets that were hard to aim at. The rain basically made the blue bolts of Blaster fire bounce out of the Death Watches path. They didn't need to do much to avoid the threatening fire. The Death Watch squad after them had two males and two females. The females were harder to aim at due to their thin bodies and easy moving ability.
The Clones needed to pilot at the same time as shooting the Mandalorians. It was very hard for them to do this. It was like piloting on Endor and trying to avoid trees and groups of Ewoks. But i was much harder looking backwards to the enemy and rain pouring on your visor.
One Death Watch member got lucky and got to shots into the engines of one of the Clones Speeders. The Clone panics and tries his best to avoid crashing. But the more and more he tried to avoid crashing, the more he got out of control.
"Janics!" One of the Clones yells, fearing for his ally's safety.
But it didn't make a difference ad to whether or not he'd make it. The Clones Speeder began to spin in circles very fast and speed up. The engines then explode and the flames made the Speeder more out of control. The engines orange fireball moved like a crashing meteor and the Clone's Speeder went off track with the three others, crashing into a few trees and colliding with a rock wall, exploding, sealing his fate.
"JANICS!" The other Clone shouts again, more shocked and terrified at his brothers demise. He was a good friend to the shocked Clone.
"We have to shake them off now!" The BARC leader exclaims.
"Then let's counter attack!" The tough Clone shouts before going around a very wide tree on his left.
"Let's do it!" The BARC leader says to the remaining Clone at his side.
The two Clones then went around a small tree to their right and went to the Death Watch members. The tough Clone had raised his DC-15S and managed to shoot one of the male members of their Clan. The member got a rather large hole within his chest and he flew out of control up into the air and flew towards the mountain destined to be the new secret Clone base of Yavin. There was a small boom from the mountain as the man's jet pack had set of like a bomb on the dirt rocky surface called the face of the mountain. The two others had gotten to the tough Clone's sides and blasted at the Death Watch too. They barely got any space to fly out of the blue bolts of energy because the Clones charging towards them had made them harder to dodge. Speed was on the Republican Troopers sides.
"Keep our shots clean and easy to focus. Every shot counts out here." The BARC leader advised.
The Clones all nodded. But then the Clone who lost his friend Janics aimed at the middle Death Watch member carefully. The red bolts heading towards the Clones was enough to kill them. The Clone aiming at the middle one's jet pack tried all he could to keep the Speeder from bouncing and keeping the DC-15S from shaking out of control due to the wind and rain. He then took careful shots trying to avoid the recoil from disrupting his aim. He took rapid shots and he was lucky enough to hit the jet pack with two shots. What was even more lucky was that the jet pack had exploded and it's reaction had caused the neighboring packs to explode as well.
The bodies of the man and two women flew into the air, presumably dead from the violent explosions that most likely ripped their bodies skin. To survive that would leave you scarred for life. Death was the best the three members could hope for.
"Wow, nice shooting!" The rough Clone complements the lucky shooter.
"Thanks." The other Clone replies.
"Let's get back to the mobile bases. We need to inform them of this discovery." The BARC leader says.
The Speeders then turn all away around and head back to the Juggernauts.
Alderaan:
Ahsoka and the men of the 501st stand on top of the landing pad where their Shuttle is. Day had shifted into night
"C'mon, we need to go!" Ahsoka says loudly to her Troops.
"Calm down Commander, nothing bad will happen." Rex says.
"I've been wanting to see Ryo Chuchi for a long time Rex, and she's one of the only people outside of the Republic that I have left to place my trust in." Ahsoka says.
"I'm sure she's fine. At least we've decided to get to Pantora now." Rex says.
"Yeah. At least we also got Bail to tell Obi-Wan that we'll be leaving for a bit." Ahsoka says.
"Well we might as well leave since we've got nothing else to finish up here." Fives says.
The Troops then get on the Shuttle with their leader and they departed from the Palace and went into the clouded sky.
"Next stop, Pantora." Ahsoka says.
"Hold on Commander." Tup says. "Wouldn't you consider going to Onderon for help?"
"Why's that, Tup?" Ahsoka says.
"Um, Tup?..." Fives asks.
"I heard you once went there with Skywalker and Kenobi, I'm sure your friend Lux would be the best option for assistance." Tup says.
"Tup, don't speak anymore." Fives says.
Rex looks at his Commander who looks down at the controls she was using to pilot with her eyes tearing up. He quickly walked up behind her and went to her right shoulder.
"Commander, I'm so sorry." Rex says.
"It's fine Rex." Ahsoka says.
"Well, no it isn't Commander." Rex says trying not to sound mean. Tup on the other hand was confused by this.
"Uh, what did I say?" Tup asks.
Fives then grabbed Tup by the shoulder and dragged him to the other side of the Shuttle towards the back.
"Fives, what are you doing?" Tup demanded. "This isn't right."
They were well away from small conversations near the back. Fives then placed Tup at the wall.
"You really wish to know why the Commander reacted badly?" Fives asks warning Tup with a serious tone.
"If I don't want to offend the Commander again, then spill it." Tup replies.
"Here it goes." Fives announced. "Five months ago, Onderon was invaded by Dooku and ex-Jedi Knight convict Barriss Offee. Dooku had went with her to disrupt the city and take our it, driving out the locals. Lux had managed to escape and contacted the Republic for assistance. So after that, General Skywalker and Commander Tano went to liberate the city by battling within it. We all had eventually gotten to see Dooku and the General and Commander fought him. Dooku had lost and then they went to a cell block area. When we had gotten the main area, Lux was tied with his hands behind his back siting just in front of the darkness. He barely got much words out before he had a blood red Lightsaber blade drive through his chest. Commander Tano took it personally. He lived for a little bit after he was given the fatal blow. Ahsoka and Anakin then fought Barriss. Anakin got taken down but Ahsoka had managed to win by killing Barriss with fast attacks. This is why she had reacted the way she had just then."
Tup had a look of shock. He had imagined the event inside his head. Fives description was enough for him to create a story out of it.
"Whoa, I didn't know the Commander had experienced such a loss." Tup says surprised and feeling a bit guilty.
"Yeah, she did. Which is why you need to be careful with what you say to her Tup, okay?" Fives asks.
"Yes sir." Tup says quietly.
Fives and Tup walk back to the cockpit and see that Ahsoka had been put back into her original state. Working and heading to the Sharkbite.
Tup knew that in order to make things right with his Commander, he would need to give his condolences to her. He walked up to her and began to speak.
"Commander?" Tup says gaining her attention as she spins to look at his face. "I'm so sorry for what I had said earlier. I didn't know that something had happened to-"
"No, I understand clearly Tup. You were only trying to help. You didn't know and I should have gotten over it." Ahsoka says. "You have nothing to say sorry for, because there is nothing that needs forgiving."
"Thank you, sir." Tup says. "I am honored for you to be my Commander."
Soon the Shuttle had gotten to the Sharkbite's hanger and Ahsoka had chosen the Sharkbite and two Acclamators to accompany her to Pantora.
Yavin IV:
The three remaining Speeders went back into one of the Juggernauts, the one with the field Commander inside. Inside they had explained to the Commander about the situation and gave him scanned images. he looked over the pictures and couldn't believe the Death Watch got a hold of the artillery.
"Amazing. I've seen this tech before." The field Commander says.
"You have sir?" The BARC leader says.
"Yes, it is a Republican Military weapon. It was designed for the purpose that SPHA cannons bring. It had a different affect however. It reacts like a long range cannon. It doesn't use the powerful laser beans our Venator Destroyers carry, instead it has a simple power blast the crashes into a ranged area." The field Commander explains.
"How do you know about that?" The BARC leader asks.
"I witnessed it's creation myself. I was sent on a delivery to Rothana to give credits to the manufacturers when the Sep fleets were hunting Republic transports. When I was looking for the person in charge, they let me see some of their inventions they were doing. This cannon is one of them, and it is deadly." The field Commander explains.
"Then how do we destroy it without it taking us out?" A random Clone on the field Commander's right asks.
"We'll need to find out their weaknesses. When you were scouting the area of their base, did the cannon try to shoot at you?" The field Commander asks.
"No sir, it was facing opposite from our position. But Death Watch must know of our involvement on Yavin now." The BARC leader says.
"We were chased by four of them, my friend Janics was killed in the pursuit. But I killed three of them." The serious sounding one says.
"I don't think the cannon is operational. It still attempts to shoot at the Speeders, even if it has a zero probability chance of hitting it." The field Commander says.
"Then let's take it out right now!" Kez who makes his Z-6 Barrels roll says excitedly.
"We need to get a good strategy first." The BARC leader says. "All around the outside of the camp, special laser auto-turrets have been setup to keep anything they don't want out."
"If that's so, then why did you come back?" Kez asks.
"I think they might have been offline. The Death Watch seemed to be full of fighting energy and I think they might had started the turrets, because they know were are here." The BARC leader says.
"Then we have no choice but to use the tanks to get in the bases and stop the turret from firing at us." The field Commander announces.
"It should at least take thirty minutes to warm up. When I saw it been created, they had discovered that it required a while to charge before it could be used." The BARC leader says.
"Then let's go already!" The field Commander shouts to everyone.
In minutes, the Juggernauts were at the boarders of the Mandalorian Death Watch camps. As the Speeders pilots had explained, there was indeed heavy resistance all over the camps. The Juggernaut drivers were absolutely shocked by their over protective defenses.
"Well, this is interesting." A main driver says.
"You're telling me." The co-pilot of the first driver says. "They've clearly been wanting to keep this place to themselves."
"Less chatting and more blasting." The field Commander reminds the drivers. "Fire the missiles at the tents first. They've got a good aim."
The Juggernauts launched the missiles that glow blue into the Death Watch tents. Four in each camp was destroyed. Death Watch members in others got out and did their best to avoid getting targeted by the Juggernauts.
On the ground, Clones with Swamp Speeders and AT-RTs fire at the enemy's defense turrets, which fire back rapidly. Every few seconds, an AT-RT or Swamp Speeder would explode from the terrible impact.
Kez on the other hand had gone with six other men crawling in the grass speaking up to the walls where the turrets laid and blasted them out, creating a hole in their defenses. Death Watch members jump over the broken turret barrier expecting the shooters to be from where the Juggernauts had been, but they were foolish enough to jump the grass while Kez and his men took out the targets. When they had knew that more Death Watch wasn't coming from that side, he and his men get up to shoot the other turrets in their sights. The turrets had mainly focused on the Clones on Walkers and Speeders so they completely ignored Kez while they got blasted. It was just basic programming.
Once the turrets on that side was finished, the Death Watch fighter lifted from the ground and went to attack the ten tired tanks. It was a failed assault since the ships belonging to the Death Watch were slow, almost weaponless and were easy to destroy. The Juggernauts show that example when their roof turrets blow them out of the sky.
AT-RT Walkers charge to the Death Watch camp and do large jumps in for s surprise attack. It seemed to have shown them a great deal of shock, because three of the Walkers have stomped on them. The Clone Walkers started to use their weapons against the Manadlorian warriors and they were over powered. No cover was available since all they had was weak tents.
Swamp Speeders act as a distraction to the remaining turrets while Kez's group took them down.
The Juggernauts then attempted to climb over the walls where the destroyed auto-turrets where laid down. Their giant tires ripped the dirt walls apart just too easily. Death Watch members from the western camp knew that the Juggernauts were too big and strong to destroy. They retreated and got their jet packs up and running. They flew into the air and went towards the western camp to warn their other clan members who were far away. The tanks tried to uses their missiles to hit the members flying away but only caught half of them. The survivors would be able to regroup with their last camp.
The Clones knew that the battle was already won, but that wouldn't stop the Death Watch from doing a counter attack anytime soon. At least the Clones could rest a bit while they hunt for the western camp. While they still had to move, the Clones on AT-RTs and Swamp Speeders would be able to move without having to run or jump over rough terrain. The Clones on foot were allowed to get back onto the A6 tanks.
As soon as every Clone walking was on board, the tanks started moving again and the tires which were made of tough material, went over the jagged rock with ease.
"We need to get to the Death Watch camp before they escape." The field Commander says.
"We're going as fast as we can, sir. We should be able to get their in no time!" A driver replied.
"We need to avoid any distractions and blocked areas. Keep the scanners on lock with the escaped members. We'll follow their paths and we'll track them to their camp." The field Commander says.
"What if they are just over walls, sir?" The same driver asks.
"Keep the map scanner locked on them. Once the terrain changes into a wall beyond their path, we'll go onto different paths. Once we're at their camp we'll flush them out!" The field Commander explains.
"Oh, I see sir." The driver says. "Then sit back for now. We'll keep working."
"Tell me when you are in visual range of the base." The field Commander says. "We'll recover the cannon later once we've gotten rid of the Death Watch and secured the mountain area."
"Understood sir." The driver says.
Pantora orbit:
Ahsoka's fleet of one Venator-Class Star Destroyer (the Sharkbite) and two Acclamators exited into the Pantorian system. As Ahsoka had worried about from the start, she had discovered an Imperial presence here. Two Imperial Venator-Class Star Destroyers were guarding the orbit from letting anyone in or out. They were also clearly awaiting for a surprise attack and automatically started firing at the Republic fleet. The heavy pounding from the Imperial ships made Ahsoka and all the other crews fall off balance. Ahsoka fell into Rex and Fives who slide on the Sharkbite's floor. Ahsoka get's up with an annoyed expression on her face. She pulls up the Captain and ARC Trooper.
"Remember when you said Pantoria would be safe Rex? Well you were wrong. They must've expected us!" Ahsoka says.
"Well we're already here. We might as well turn up the heat!" Fives shouts.
Ahsoka stands up and looks at the two Imperial ships in front of theirs.
"All Turbolaser batteries, fire on the left Cruiser!" Ahsoka orders.
The Turbo lasers to the Venators fire at the Imperial Cruiser picked by Ahsoka. The target fired back with the assistance of the other Imperial Cruiser.
Ahsoka's Acclamators went outward towards the Imperial vessels sitting in their own spots shooting back at the ships. The two Acclamators dive beneath the Venators height and went down heading towards the Imperials. Ahsoka knew that more ships would make sure she would have chances of finishing the fleet off more easier. But since she wanted to keep most of her soldiers protected. She must do what she can to keep most of them from dying.
Ahsoka's assault Frigates fire at the Imperial ships from beneath. The lack of weapons beneath the ships was useful to Ahsoka's frigates because the Venators packed a lot of fire power from their main cannons, which resided on top of the Fighter/War frigates haul.
The Acclamators managed to cause small damage to the Venators bellies. First there was carbon scoring that turned the metal darker, then the metal began to bend out of shape.
Ahsoka's ships sent out Z-95 Headhunters in big waves. Behind the waves of Z-95 Headhunters, Y-Wings rely on the cover of the Fighters in front of them. The Imperials respond to their ships by sending out a mixture of V-Wings and ARC-170s to combat the Republic fighters.
Ahsoka was think that Ryo was always a fighter for her people. Since the Empire has kicked in and has the new goal of invasion on every world that denied their presence. It would only get worse day by day as the Empire spreads out. Ahsoka knew that Ryo would never let the Empire take her world without her word for it. But this isn't the Republic anymore. Any denied Imperial forces would just simply blast through everything to get what they want when they want it. If Ahsoka was going to get any chances to save the planet, she needed to get to the surface very soon. To get to the surface very soon, she'd need to leave now even if they get targeted by the capital ships and Imperial craft. Unless she has a personal squad follow her down.
"C'mon Rex, were getting a large force to the surface. If there are any Imperials on foot, then we need to stop them." Ahsoka says.
"But sir, what about land units being shot down?" Rex asks.
"We'll get some Fighter to create as a distraction and cover us from enemy ship fire. I trust that the 501st can be relied on for this Rex." Ahsoka says.
"Yes sir, the men will be ready very soon." Rex says.
Soon, thirty LAAT Gunships pour out of the side hangers. It was dangerous to go out the front since enemy ship fire would get the chance to hit something very valuable and destroy the Sharkbite's front ship decks.
Fifteen Y-Wings follow as body cover and their gunner turrets would be useful for enemy forces approaching the. As estimated, a squad of ten V-Wings chase down the Republic ships coming towards the surface. The Y-Wings turret gunners fire at the silver painted V-Wings that are coming at them from behind. The V-Wings were hard to shoot at due to their interesting shape. The Turrets lasers fired between their high and lower body parts. Two V-Wings were hit and they exploded, leaving their bodies in peaces, floating into other V-Wings and making some shake from the explosion. The eight remaining V-Wings continued their attacking pattern and attempted to blast at the ships heading to orbit. Green blasts and blue missiles head towards the transports, but the Y-Wing gunners shot out most of them. They were hard to take down.
The V-Wings had succeeded in destroying two transports out of the thirty being delivered to the surface. Ahsoka and her main Clones were not in the ones destroyed, but the bombardment was very strong and shook up the Gunships making them turn a little. The bombers went past all the transports and worked on going around for another strike. Ahsoka's been standing holding the bands of wire that everyone held when in the Gunships to avoid falling. They were usually needed when the sides were exposed so anything could just about fly in and hit whatever was inside.
"Ahsoka, these waves of bombers will tear us apart! We need to get them off our backs now!" Rex says loudly.
Ahsoka knew what Rex said was true. If they Y-Wings didn't get the V-Wings of of them, coming to Pantora would be a big disaster and another Jedi that gets been killed would be a lot more risky. She decided to contact the Y-Wing pilots and try to attack the attackers instead of guiding them out of orbit.
"Pilots, I know I ordered you to support us till we hit the surface, but I really need you to destroy the attackers hitting our transports." Ahsoka explained to her pilots.
"Gotta sir, we'll fight them off for you, you get to the surface and we'll get there soon after we finish these traitors." The lead pilot says.
"Thank you. See you on the surface soon Gold Leader." Ahsoka says.
The Gunships zoom off to the surface, leaving the Republic Y-Wings to fight the Imperial V-Wings.
Pantora's surface:
"How dare you try to force me from letting my people live freely on MY home world!" Senator Chuchi shouts at an Imperial official who was stand with two Clones holding DC-15S. She was outside with them standing over snow. There was a full battalion of Clones behind them. Ryo only had two guards.
"This isn't your choice Senator. The Emperor is demanding that we get control on all worlds so an Rebellion doesn't start. Your peoples happiness doesn't matter as long as the Empire isn't breached." The Imperial official says hardly.
"I won't let you do this!" Ryo roars at the man. She strikes the man very hard in the face and he flinched from the impact.
He steps back with his head turned to the left for a few seconds. He heard the sound of electrical blasts and looks back to hear a thud. Senator Ryo was stunned by both Troops and fell in the snow and her clothing was getting soaked by it. The two guards tried to hit the Troopers with pikes but got blasted by their weapons and killed.
The Imperial official just pushes his hand against his face and drops it to his side again. A fully white ARC Trooper walks to the official's side and the official looks directly at the ARC Troopers helmet. He was a ARC Trooper with the rank of Commander. The official got command of the Commander because it was his operation.
"Take her and we'll invade the city. These Pantorans will learn the price for refusing the Empire. If they start attacking, make sure we write their names with their own blood." The Imperial official orders.
"Yes sir." The ARC Trooper says. "We're moving in, follow me Troops!"
The Clones on this battalion followed the ARC Trooper. Since he was a Commander, he had the job of managing the front lines in battle. Though this wasn't a battle and they weren't real warriors, there were Pantorans with weapons. They could be in unexpected places.
The official just looks at the men walking to the city with an evil grin on his face. He was a person who the Emperor could trust, because he wanted to have control over places but not try to claim his throne. The Emperor would make quick work of another person attempting to take over.
End of chapter:
As I said, I update very slowly now and it may seem like forever, but is constantly updated. I won't probably be updating like I normally would, but I will never stop working. I just hope you all can wait as I do my work slowly.
Later! :)
