Tsunade watched as the small boy suddenly went away with a poof, her eyes widened and she gathered the suitcase. She kept staring at the spot though, trying to make out exactly what had happened, but she took it as a sign.
"I have to get back to the village."
ooOOoo
Pain. There was so much pain that he wasn't aware of the darkness that flooded around him, he wasn't aware of the thoughts trying to creep in. It was just a painful experience. He did not want to be taken in by the pain. He knew that all too well. It never ended on a good note, but, damn. It was like he had no other choice. Because that's all he felt. Because it was all he thought about.
"Naruto! Don't put your hands in the cake. That's greedy."
"You're mother is right. I would like some of that cake!"
"B-but I made it! Can't I have it?"
"Of course you can have some. But you must share."
It never stopped. The voices and the pain. They never stopped. They talked constantly and made his skin burn. He didn't want to hear anymore. He didn't want to hear their voices it hurt too much it was too much! He could not take it any longer. It hurt so much...he missed them...but…
"C'mon idiot! We're starting the academy. We cannot be late!"
"Yeah, Naruto. Don't you want to learn a jutsu?"
"We can even play pranks!"
"Sounds, troublesome."
His eyes stung with the familiar presence of tears as they brimmed in his eyelids. He was was floating, and yet it felt like he had the weight of the world on top of him. Everything was pouring into him and he was so stressed and so tired so suddenly drained. Why had he done this again? What was the purpose? He missed them so much...so why was he here?
"Me and Akamaru are in!"
"We'll do it."
"Sounds troublesome…"
"Of course I'm in! What type of question is that?"
His mind was constantly throwing these words at him, words he did not remember, and yet he felt so connected to them. In his heart he knew that they were connected somehow to him. Yet it just didn't click. His world was filled with pain and hatred and it could consumed him at any moment. He remembered death and destruction, no peace just war but...what was playing through his mind was something entirely different. It symbolized life and beauty. It showed power in friendships and bonds...this was the life he always wanted...the life he could never have…
"So then...why don't just try to achieve it in this life?"
With his eyes flying open only to see a vast world of darkness he cringed slightly at the sudden effects of something odd going on in his body. It hurt but at the same time it was very tame. He had no idea what it was that was causing him so much pain...physically, or emotionally.
"Look over to us, and you will be granted the life you have always wanted...with one exception."
Turning his head he saw the light shine down on two figures. One was small, the other tall and very lean. The shorter one smiled down at him, giving him a very familiar grin. The taller one looked grim yet only crossed his arms as he stared.
"We...sorta tampered with your...time travelling jutsu." The shortest one said quite sheepishly. "Not because we didn't want you travel back in time, well not us originally." He mumbled.
The taller one pushed the shorter one away, growling slightly. "Listen, because of your space time jutsu, we were saved. At the time that you arrived, I was being extracted from him...but because of our bond, we pulled through from me taking the chakra of the Kyuubi you have and storing it inside my Jinchuriki." The tallest one explained. "But we won't make it."
He was very confused on the whole situation. Not understanding exactly what was going on he frowned at the two...who were they again?
"We have to hurry…" The shorter said. "There can only be one of us on a plane of a universe. If there are two, it throws everything out of whack, so to speak...I can't survive because of my lack in chakra. But you could...taking my memories with you."
It slowly hit him as he watch the short one who was panicking. "Oh that's right." He muttered. The short one was his doppelganger, the taller one a human form of Kyuubi. "You seem fine."
"It's a slow death...usually, when you're my age and you have already adapted to the chakra of one thing and then suddenly it get's pulled out of you you die. But you did save me, temporarily. He stocked the chakra long enough for me to connect to you. We used too much, therefore I'm not going to make it…"
"But, what about your chakra?" He was so confused.
"Remember, we are on different universal planes. I'm guessing the extraction would have only taken a Bijuu's chakra. However here, it takes it's containers also apaprently...he won't live."
The world slowed slightly, and Naruto watched the blurry figures as they waited anxiously for his reply. Yet he was forgetting already what they were doing here...why was he in an odd room?
"Pushing too much of my memories in him is interfering with his own… I can't continue."
"Listen brat," The human Kyuubi said. "We are giving you his memories and a couple other things. Your pain has dawned on us. And while we want you to-"
"I can't keep...keep it up." The shorter one looked sweaty and as if he could just fall asleep. He didn't particularly look in pain but he did look like he could sleep forever. "Hurry."
"We want you to be happy, but you must also make sure no other Jinchuriki faces this...fix it.."
Now he was confused again. What was he supposed to fix? Something about peace but...he had that right? All of his friends at the leaf were safe, and his parents were okay. So why did he need to fix things? His slow grasp on the reality that he once lived was slowly slipping away from him. He didn't forget it by any means, it was just that the memories given to him were much more powerful than the ones he had lived through.
The shortest one walked over towards him with his eyes droopy. A small smile on his face. "Even if this is what you've always wanted you cannot forget what you've been through. To fix the past you once lived through and make sure it never happens again you have to...you have to...be me."
It was a simple request, and they were the same person really, weren't they? The only thing that was different was the marks on his face and the color of their hair. He could live through that, right?
"I'm sorry to cut this short but I can't keep taking the other Kurama's chakra."
Looking over towards the taller man, or should he say once was the taller man, Naruto gasped. With his human form gone he now stood on four paws as if only a kit. He wondered how this process happened, but had no time to asks as the two seemed to glow a bright white. Like a spotlight had been shown on them. The redhead smiled softly.
"Remember to never forget!"
"And keep the fox in check. It will certainly help with dealing with other Jinchuriki."
And then he slipped into a world of darkness.

Gaara pulled his father along towards the path where he and Naruto were. His hands tugging as hard as he could. "We have to hurry it's important!" He told him as many time as he could. His father, however, was worried about other things.
"Gaara I have no time to worry about your pretend situations." He snapped taking his hand back and trying to hurry back to his office.
Gaara didn't know what to do. No one ever listened to him, not even his own father cared. He always tried to hurry away from Gaara as soon as his son showed him. The neglect he felt was overwhelming as he watched his father walk away. Gaara frowned as he took a deep breath and then…
"I found the Yondaime-hokage's son."
His father faltered slightly, stopping to look down at Gaara. His stoic face was contorted into a bemused look. "Oh, really?" His father said after he caught his composure. His face soon went back to his stoic face and Gaara nodded furiously.
He reached for his hand, latching it with his fathers and pulled him along. There was a group of dead trees past a playground that no kids went to since they and their parents had seen him there. He walked it passed it with his father and into the group of dead trees. Passed the trees they only walked a little further and he could see it.
A giant hole in the ground. He 'hmphed' as he turned to Gaara when he stopped. "Show me." He demanded slowly getting more curious as Gaara let go of his hand and carefully dropped into the hole. He did the same but swiftly. And soon enough as his feet hit the floor he was meet with a horrid smell.
Gaara covered his own mouth dry heaving a little. "I don't know where he went, he was just here-"
It was then that they both felt it, a sudden surge of chakra. It was so powerful that it knocked the Kazekage off his feet and onto his own butt. Gaara flew back but his father managed to catch him. The boy was knocked unconscious but the Kazekage didn't worry over it. He set his son down, creating a clone to protect the boy.
He may have acted like he didn't care but it was far from the truth, and one day he hoped Gaara would know and understand. But it was hard when he himself didn't understand his own actions and neglect. Sighing he headed deeper into the cave, ignoring the dead bodies and the ones that looked dead but still moved.
Creating another clone he turned to it giving it orders. "Go up and get the Daimyo, tell him to quickly gather a letter for Konoha, and also get some recon ninja here and take Gaara to a safer place."
The clone nodded before hurrying out and the Kazekage continued to gaze around. There were notes on body parts and all sorts for writings, things he didn't really understand but he knew one thing. They were experiments. But for what?
That he wouldn't know, but he was sure that as he walked more into the cave he would find out. Although he couldn't go any further until he got recon here but... He couldn't help but notice that all the bodies were of kids. This made him blanch.
How the hell was this cave under his village and for how long?
He looked down at the bodies, some seemed to be dead for a while, while some were fresh. Other bodies that seemed to breathe yet not move and some still moved if only a little. He of course had healing jutsus taught to him by Chiyo. At first he hadn't even thought them useful. However now was a new situation.
He went to healing the bodies that were alive as best he could. When he got to the third body a child that could be no older than Gaara he halted as heard the recon come.
"Kazekage-sama what's happened?" One of the men asked horrified.
"I need three of you to scout out this cave, gather all intell, gather all notes, everything. The other two need to gather the living bodies and take them to get medical attention, now."
"Yes, Kazekage-sama."
The Kazekage gathered the small child and headed out with the other two.
He hoped that some answers were gathered and not the kind that could possibly, as the Mizukage said, cause war.
ooOOoo
The Mizukage was frustrated, more so with the entire situation.
Everything was going downhill, he was sure that the more he searched for the ten-tails the more the disturbance in the link of jinchuriki faltered and wavered.
He had no clue in which nation the Kyuubbi's container would reside. There hadn't been a Kyuubi attack in forever, and the only rumor was that Kyuubi resided in the leaf village...but that had been years ago and it was only a rumor by young genin in his village.
He sighed as he sat at the office of his village.
He had not mentioned to anyone else what had happened but he was very concerned. Yu had sudden turned into a dead corpse leaving him stunned. He had been bothered at first but he noticed that the link was not disturbed. It was all just a very frightening and effective threat. But from who?
That was the real question, and he had yet to find out.

Kushina hadn't stopped crying and it was worrying Obito. Minato didn't smile, not that he had a reason to smile. It was all very worrying and made him fidget a little as he watched them. Kushina was pushing herself to get the dinner, which was in a day, ready. She had started to acquire a more pale tint on her face and he noticed the way that she seemed restless.
"Do you need anything Kushina-sama?" He asked as they both walked down to the markets. She needed more dango apparently, dango seemed to calm Kushina down when she couldn't get her ramen.
"Dango." Was all she said as she made a sharp turn. Obito just blinked and watched her fade into the crowd of people greeting her kindly. She didn't even blink an eye at them.
He couldn't take it anymore. He needed to know what happened, why was she acting like that, why was his sensei burying himself in work when he obviously hated it and whenever he could get away from it he would.
He sensei now holed himself up in the tower.
So that's where he headed. He tried to be as polite as he could when he reached the tower and saw that the door was such. He tried not scream and shout at his own frustrations. He knocked on the door quickly hoping for some sort answer, but there was none. He sighed and knocked again.
"Hokage-sama?"
No answer.
So being Obito Uchiha, he just opened the door.
And it was a mess.
His sensei was asleep at his desk, head in a pile of paperwork. He could see that his sensei hadn't even been working but more so starring at his pictures of his family. His pictures were all line up on his desk facing his way. He closed the door quietly and looked over at the pictures.
Most of them included Naruto of course. The boy with the bright blue eyes and dark red hair. It was was fascinating to see that he had come such a long way.
He had been sickly at first, Minato was against the idea of putting half of the Kyuubi into Naruto but the Kyuubi had sucked some of Naruto's chakra anyway. And Naruto would heal faster, making him healthier quicker with a solution that was bound to work. Kushina had been against it, of course, but the more they all looked into methods, even with Tsunade-sama's help, the more it seemed to all crash.
She had agreed with regulations at first. "Only a quarter, of it all. I don't want my baby being haunted by it." However in order for the Kyuubi's chakra to effectively work, it had to be there. And so it was decided that half of the chakra was needed because they also needed the Kyuubi who could control his own power, with seals to keep him on leash so to speak was there, then to have pure demonic chakra surging through Naruto that no one knew would be controlled or not.
Looking at the pictures Naruto looked so frail, but it was noticeable that overtime he became better, healthier.
He had been so excited to start the academy, he reminded Obito of himself. He was reckless and quick to want to learn things that equaled strength and not control. Kushina's son for sure.
He chuckled to himself at the thought.
Now if only they could find him.
Soon however a messenger bird stopped on the window.
"Sunagakure?" He mumbled.
He took the scroll off the bird and sent it back. The obvious importance of it was there and so he decided it best to wake the Hokage.
"Minato-sama, I have important information." He shook the sleeping Yondaime and of course he awoke startled.
"Wha-huh, Obito?" He questioned.
The student just smiled at his sensei as he handed over the message. "Sleeping on the job isn't a good idea Hokage-sama. Here a scroll from Suna."
"Ah, the Kazekage must be talking about my offer at the summit."
Obtio didn't question it because if Minato-sensei didn't tell anyone about it, not even Kushina (he asked) then it would remain a secret.
He watched as Minato opened the scroll with sleepy eyes, but soon enough reading through it he suddenly looked wide awake.
Minato's eyes snapped up and a fire, like the one he saw when his sensei had first heard of Naruto's disappearance, suddenly lit. However it wasn't a fire of determination, it was a fire of anger.
"Tell the council to gather," He said, suddenly opening up another seal that seemed to be attached, he read through it quickly, looking stunned. "And bring Kakashi and Jiraiya with you. I've got a mission for you."

Hinata tried not rejoice too soon as she saw all the ninja's that entered. They pulled them away from the cave directing her above to the surface. She always heard about it and at times she even had memories about it. However it didn't look like this covered in dirt and sand. There were grass and flowers and she remembered a woman. A very pretty woman that always smiled her, along with a man who smiled at her too.
However either way she was happy to be out and up on the surface, the small girl she carried, the Uchiha they were called, was directed away from her. She was now receiving medical attention. "Your wrist is sprained and it seems to me that your sight is less than perfect which is worrying for a Hyuga. However besides some spraining of your wrist and your sight you're fine."
Hinata nodded grimly, unsure what to say. Was she supposed to be in pain? She didn't feel it. All she felt was the underlying effects of the sudden evasion of people that came to take them away from the cave.
It seemed like her and the little Uchiha had been walking forever to find a way out and yet someone found them to get them out. They had reached a part of the cave she had never seen before and it was filled with a horrible smell.
Hinata tried to forget it but it was etched in her mind and she would forever be haunted by it, though she didn't react as the little girl had, heaving and puking. She did have to hold her breath though.
She had been careful about the escape. The best escapes were the ones that had been planned yet she knew that because of little girl's loss of the fight she would be taken and killed. She wasn't naive, she knew what Kabuto-kun did those kids that weren't strong enough.
A small part of her was saddened that they died, but another part, battle hardened, was envious. They were put out of their misery, they no longer had to face the anguish dark orange walls and all the battles.
"Let's get you to a place where you can rest along with the others alright?" The medical nin asked with a soft smile.
Hinata found it odd. There were never any medical nin in the cave. But it sounded like a good job. Helping people with your chakra instead of hurting them.
It sounded very nice.

Jiraiya stood, along with Kakashi and Obito by his side, ready for his next mission. Although he wasn't happy. He could be searching for clues about his godson but what was he doing now? Was it really important? Of course it would be but, could it be put off just for a while?
"I've received some information from the Kazekage about a cave in Sunagakure."
Jiraiya raised his eyebrow. A cave, really?
"The importance of this cave is not the cave itself but what was found inside." Minato let out a breath. "They found the corpses of young children and teens, and also some kids were alive but harmed still...all of them from Konoha."
Jiraiya blanched. "Wait how is that even possible."
"Yeah, Sunagakure is three days away from Konoha. Why would anyone do that?"
Minato frowned and threw some dirty paper, inked with words on it that Jiraiya didn't care for until he saw it.
Konoha has been fooled by me to believe that I use it's medical facilities and equipment as way to improve the system of the medical-nin and all the recon-nin that use chemicals and poisons for their missions. However they were wrong. The children adapt well to the changes I've made, however some don't survive. But the girl, the heiress of the Hyuga seems to have a strong will to live...hopefully she can develop her eyes, then they'll be mine.
Jiraiya snapped his head up and immediately understood. Minato had lost his son but before that Hiashi had lost his daughter. This was a parents understanding and it made since. They had to find the girl, because if that had been Minato's son there would be no waiting by either Hiashi or Minato.
"I don't know if she's alive, which is why I haven't informed the Hyuga but there are many children that are and we need to bring them back. We also have a traitor in Konoha and all the evidence we need will be in that cave."
Jiraiya nodded. "Of course, but when you say we-"
"I mean me too. The Kazekage said that he personally has something to discuss with me. And this is big enough for me to leave, I've spoken to the council, they understand."
Jiraiya wanted to ask about Naruto's anniversary because Minato never missed one, it was always a day off, for everyone. They gathered and honored him.
It was odd to Jiraiya to see so many people who loved a boy so much that they would all stop their businesses for a day and just honor him, even though the brat didn't really have any significance in wars or anything, he changed people hearts only at the age of ten.
He would've been a great ninja.
Jiraiya realized then that this mission, meant more than bringing home Naruto. As sad as it was, sacrifices would have to made, and Naruto had wanted to find the missing Hyuga princess. And now they had a lead…
"Alright, let's gather our stuff and head out."
I lost everything and I suck and I know, it's been forever because I suck meh...and it's not even a long update like I wanted it to be but I was just so tired UGH! Oh, well at least it's here and still going.
Sorry for making you guys wait, I do care I just have those moments where I don't want to type and it turned into forever, sorry. Also too I'm a little out of it, I kept putting Nidaime instead of Yondaime because I haven't read or watched Naruto since I last typed. So sorry if you see that error I tried to fix all of them, though I think I only did it once and fixed it.
Love Daichi...
