"What do you mean with they are going to wipe out the human rase?" Tori asked, while Jade stood there with an unreadable expression on her face.
"I don't really know. They didn't bother to tell me because they said it would be a waste of time. But I do know they needed to get rid of your mother before they could put their plans into motion because one, she has the dragon and two she could actually stop them," Candy said looking happy.
"I can't do this anymore," Jade said, pinching the bridge of her nose. "I haven't been to enough anger management to actually deal with this kind of situation without killing someone."
"I think the smartest thing to do would actually be to kill someone," Tori said causally, would she finally get to eat a witch?
"Yeah but you're a werewolf, not much brain capacity there. We need a smarter plan, we need to stop them without turning this into some massacre."
"What do you suggest we do?" Tori asked.
Jade turned her attention to Candy, who seemed to be in her own thoughts, and smiled a wicked smile.
"Candy?"
"Yeah?"
"What do you say on going on an adventure with me and Tori? We will even let you be the captain."
"Really?! Of course!" Candy cried out, jumping up and down. "What shall we do?"
"You will have a very important mission, you are going to lead us to my mother."
"Okay, sure thing," was all Candy said before she turned at the wall she had stepped out off and walked right into it and disappeared. Tori and Jade only stood and stared at the wall.
"Shall we just go into the wall, or what?" Tori asked after a while.
"Guess so," Jade answered, walking into the wall.
Jade was met with a stank so intense it made her stomach turn and her arm shooting reflecting to her nose.
"Oh god what is that stank?" Tori asked just behind her.
"We are in the sewer systems, it's all the-"
"We know whats in here," Jade interrupted Candy before she said something that would make Jade throw up.
"But she asked," Candy said confused and hurt.
"She is just a little ganky, and sensitive when it comes to these kind of things. Now where is Jade's mother?" Tori asked, her voice sounding like honey dripping sugar. Jade could actually understand why so many people though Tori was this sweet, innocent girl and why everyone thought she was such a nice girl. Why hadn't Jade got that treatment? After all Tori thought Jade was her mate, shouldn't Tori treat her as some princess?
"Yes of course! Follow me," Candy said, leading the way.
While they walked in the sewers, water up to their knees, a stank that could be used as a gas to kill people Candy rambled on what she was doing there, where everything was and how she kept her white dress white.
"Thats amazing," Tori exclaimed after Candy had told her how to get blood stains away from white.
"I know, I never thought it would be so simple but it is! Just put on some salt, rub it and then it will be gone!" Candy said, ever so happy that finally someone was listening to her, actually listening to her.
"Mother!" Jade cried out as soon she saw the woman in question, running past the two women.
"Jade? What are you doing here?" Ophelia asked shocked to see her daughter.
"Saving you," Jade said, immediately trying to get her mother loose from the chains.
"Theres no use Jade, they are cursed, unbreakable," Ophelia explained calmly. She knew her daughter, and her daughter was on the verge of a breakdown.
"I'm not leaving you here," Jade said stubbornly while letting herself sink down to the floor.
"Baby, you need to listen to me carefully. I'm fine and I'm going to be fine if you do as I say," Ophelia said while she stroke a pice of hair out of Jade's face.
"Go to Madam Delacour and tell her I've been taken by Svea. She needs to tell the council fast and that they have the dragon, okay?" Ophelia said while she stroke Jade's arm.
"I won't leave you," Jade still said stubbornly. She couldn't just leave her mother here! Among rats and filth, chained to a wall, barley out of the dirty water.
"You have to, who else is going to do it? Remember what I've thought you, sometimes you have to do something that you don't want because you need to do something that is better for the others."
"Jade we have to go, someone is coming!" Tori said and rushed towards Jade. But Jade didn't budge.
"I can't just leave my mother here Tori! She is hurt!" Jade said, tears had started to fall down her cheeks.
Tori's facial expression soften and she crouched down to Jade.
"Your mother is going to be all right, we will be back for her but now we need to do as she says."
"Please Jade for me? Go with her, they wont hurt me," Ophelia pleaded, she wanted her daughter away from there. Away from this situation. She knew she would have send away Jade earlier to that magic school, she wouldn't had delayed on it.
Jade nodded and got up but the voices were heard closer and closer to them.
"We can't go there, they will see us," Tori said, still holding Jade.
"I've got this," Candy said, proud of herself.
"Oh no, stop her Tori," Jade whispered to Tori.
But Candy turned to a wall, took a magic wound up and swirled it around. Soon the girls could see Madam Delacour's shop and Candy walked right in.
"Amazing, the girl can just waltz into any kind of house, breaking down any kind of spell..." Ophelia mutter out, finally understanding how those witches had been able to get into her house even though she had a spell protecting the house.
Jade and Tori hurriedly went into the wall and got into Madam Delacour's shop. Turning around they still could see what was going on in the tunnel. Suddenly the blond bitch who had fucked Beck came walking in, closed behind was another woman. Blond too, to the big surprise, but still this woman wasn't as magnificent as Candy but it was something about her that made her hypnotically beautiful. That made you want to stare at her, to get lost in those blue eyes. Her looks demanded respect at the same time it made you want all her attention.
"So Ophelia, care now to tell us where the necklace is?" The unknown woman asked.
"Haven't hung here long enough," Ophelia spit out. Finally Tori understood where Jade's behaviour came from.
"Oh the attitude, how am I supposed to take that one away? Maybe if I visit that wonderful daughter of yours? Do what you did to me all those years ago, or maybe I just make her join my coven. What would nice, powerful, good Natasha Devecerski say? Huh? Oh wait I forgot you switched name! I guess the more correct thing to say would be Mrs West? How did that english gentleman of yours go? Did he die? In a fire, really? How tragic, but sometimes something wonderful comes out of the tragic, don't it? My powers, the dragon and that daughter. You know as good as I that that daughter is evil, she is more fitted with me!"
"You don't touch her, if you do I'll kill you," Ophelia threatened, the venom, the hurt, the anger in her voice was murderously scary.
"You kill me? I've seen the future, you're the dead one not I. And as for that daughter of yours, is she still listening?" The woman asked, she turned her head towards the wall and looked straight at Jade.
"Hello, I'm Svea. I murder your father and I'm your real moth-"
"Close that portal!" Madam Delacour's shriek was heard.
Candy who didn't like people screaming, or when they were angry immediately obligated and closed the portal. Drowning out Svea's greeting to Jade.
Jade stood in shock staring at the wall. Jade's father was alive. He had ignored her for the past five years, only given her some money to get rid of his guilt. Jade turned around while she thought, while she put the pieces together and stared at Madam Delacour before she asked: "Is Svea my mother?"
