Here's chapter 12! Thank you for all the reviews, favs, and alerts! I'd like to thank LilDevyl for posting in their review regarding daycare centers in colleges. I looked it up, and I found out that Ohio State does have a daycare center for children. So thank you once again! I also found out though that if your majoring in Education, it's only in Columbus. I've figured something out though so things will be ok.
I don't own Glee. I only own the character Cory.
Enjoy!
"Are you okay in there?" Finn knocked on the door of the bathroom, hearing Rachel gag in there. No, she wasn't okay. She was ten weeks along in her pregnancy, and her morning sickness was worse than over. When she was pregnant with Cory, the morning sickness eased as she progressed further. This time around, it took all the energy out of her.
"No..." she whelped, taking deep breaths to try and relax herself.
"Mama okay?" hearing her son outside the door made her feel a little bit better. The brunette grabbed some toilet paper to wipe off her mouth and threw them in the toilet. After rising her mouth with mouth wash, she took her pre-natal vitamins to ensure her baby would be healthy. It was Memorial Day weekend, and they were supposed to hear soon if Kurt got into NYADA or not. They had gone to Chicago for Nationals a week prior, and they had won. It felt really good to finally win Nationals. However, next week would officially be their last week of high school. It was definitely bittersweet.
"Mama's fine. I'll be out in a second," Rachel opened the door just as she finished her sentence. "See? I'm right here."
"Why you," he made a noise that replicated her throwing up. Try explaining that to an almost two year old.
"The baby is doing this Little Cor. It's a good thing because it means it's healthy," Finn tried to respond the best possible way he could think of.
"Bad baby!" he screamed. "Bad bad bad!"
"No Cory. Good baby. Good good good," he knew what the difference was between good and bad, but it was hard fir him to change his mind on something once he thought it was good or bad.
"Go to the living room Cory. We'll meet you in there, okay?" Finn asked. Without any back talking, their son walked away carefully from the hallway. The tallest of them all held his arm around his girlfriend and help guide her into the living room. He gently placed her on one of the chairs while he sat on the couch.
"So, you're still going to major in Education at OSU, right?" she asked as she wrapped a blanket around herself.
"Yeah, but there's a bit of a problem..." he hesitated when he spoke.
"What is it?"
"I found out that they only have Education in the Columbus branch. And it takes an hour and a half to get there, so I'm going to have to leave about an hour ahead of time so I can get to my classes. I really hate having to waste three hours of driving since it'll be so far away from our house. Plus, what if something happens to Cory or you go into labor while I'm at school?" Finn asked. Rachel could tell he was worried by the tone of his voice.
"I'll be fine, I promise. Maybe I'll go into labor on a weekend again, who knows. And besides, if you want to become a teacher, you have to do what it takes to do so," she said while looking at Cory play with some toy blocks he had on the floor. "So, you really want to know what the sex of the baby is before it's born?"
"Yeah!" he answered with glee. "I mean, it would be cool to find out before it's born. We aren't going to give it up for adoption, so we don't have to worry about getting attached."
"You're absolutely right about that. It's nice to call the baby nicknames and stuff like that. I've started to notice a little bump forming like last time," when she said baby, Cory turned his head to focus on his mother.
"Me?" her son asked innocently.
"No, Little Cor. We're talking about the other baby," Rachel explained carefully.
"No," he grumbled. He picked up one of his blocks and threw it back on the floor. "I baby."
"We know you're the baby of the family Cory. But now that mama's going to have another baby, it'll be the main baby of this house. You'll always be our number one baby though," Finn tried to talk to the almost two year old like a teenager. "Sometimes I don't know why we explain things to him when he doesn't understand them."
"He needs to get used to hearing us say more. He'll be hearing baby talk again though with the new ba-infant. Yes, with the new infant in the house," the brunette noticed that her son didn't look at her when she said baby. "From now on we're calling the fetus inside of me infant; got it?"
"Got it," he agreed. "So, should we find out the sex or no?"
"As I said, we'll see when the time comes. We still have ten more weeks before we find out. And thankfully, I only have two more weeks of this terrible morning sickness," the word morning sickness turned her stomach now.
"How about Julia for a girl?" he blurted out a couple moments later. "Or something along the lines of that name?"
"That's a nice name," she took two of her fingers and started stroking them against her stomach. "There's lots of names related to that one, like Julie, Juliette, Julianna, and Julianne."
"All of those are good except for Juliette. We don't need our own personal Romeo and Juliette story."
"Finn..." Rachel said with a sigh. "The name Romeo is barely even used anymore."
"You're right," Finn agreed. "What about for a boy?"
"We can still use Christopher if you want," she knew he wanted to honor his father.
"If the baby is a boy, he has to look like a Christopher. Cory didn't look like one, so we named him Cory," he mentioned. Cory didn't look a Christopher, he looked like a Cory.
"We'll see when it's born," they sat around and watched TV for about an hour before realizing nothing else was on. The couple just watched their son play with his toys until they got a phone call from Kurt. The petite woman was about to get up to get it when her boyfriend insisted he get it.
"Hello? Oh hey Kurt, what's up? I'm good, and you? Good. How do I put you on speaker phone? Hold on," she heard him press the speaker button and Rachel could hear her friend's voice.
"Hey Rachel! How are you?" Kurt asked.
"I feel like crap," she shouted but also groaned.
"I'm sorry to hear that. Just eat come crackers and drink some ginger ale. Anyways, I've got some news."
"What is it?" Finn asked as he made his way back to the couch.
"Well, the NYADA letter came today..." Rachel shot up from her seat once she heard him say that. Butterflies already started to form in her stomach.
"And...?" boyfriend and girlfriend said together.
"I got in!" the three cheered together once they heard the news.
"Congrats Kurt!" Finn said with a grin. "We knew you'd get in."
"You should be happy you changed your song choice," Rachel added. She was happy for her friend, but she also felt something else towards him. What was it?
Are you happy Kurt got into NYADA? And can you already notice a bit of jealously with Cory when it comes to this new baby? And also, what do you think #2's gender is going to be: another boy or a girl? Put what you think in your review!
Coming up in chapter 13: It's the weekend after graduation, and Kurt is getting ready to leave for New York. Rachel is starting to get a bit angry with some of the New Directioners plans now that school of done. Is it just hormones or is she jealous?
