Kim Possible: Reaching You

Chapter 12

Middleton Park was a vibrant, lush, well-maintained public gathering spot that had only gotten cleaner and more crowded with games and entertainment the longer it lasted. Jungle gyms, slides, monkey bars, wooden forts, seesaws, and a plethora of plastic constructions for the kids; a walking track, exercise equipment, and gazebos for the teens and adults.

"Hey, Kimbo!" a familiar voice called as they approached the playground.

Ron dangled upside down like a chimp from a car-sized, spider-webbed dome, surrounded by smaller children who didn't quite know what to make of the older boy. Okay, so maybe some teens were taking advantage of the toys as well. Even Zita and Wade enjoyed the swing set and chuckled at Ron's antics. Felix sat to the side and seemed content in his own world.

"Your face is turning red," Kim giggled as she neared the dome, followed by Sheridan, Bonnie, Tara and Yori.

"It happens when you're around," he said as smoothly as his nasally speech would allow.

"Yeah, this so totally isn't creepy," Bonnie drawled, unimpressed.

"Don't diss it 'til you try it, Bon. You girls' cheer skills could kill inside this thing."

"You make a habit of frequenting playgrounds?" Tara asked.

"It was my idea," Zita said as she joined them and sat atop the dome. "We're inside a little more than we should be. Never hurts to get some exercise."

"Exercise!" Rufus suddenly popped into view and threw a little clawed hand up.

A sudden squeal of pleasure startled the group just as a flash of green leapt atop the dome and scooped the mole rat into a tight embrace.

"He's so cute!" Sheridan sounded giddy as she nuzzled her face against the little, naked creature.

Then, like a slap to the face, she realized all too late the entirety of the playground had halted as one to stare uncomprehendingly at the girl. The looks on Bonnie's, Ron's, and Kim assumed her own, faces were particularly miles north of flabbergasted. Shego's cheeks and neck darkened more than ever before, but she still didn't relinquish her death grip of love on the animal. Surprisingly, instead of dropping Rufus and pretending she hadn't meant to do it, she gave everyone a death glare and turned away to coo at the little creature.

"Oh no, you do not get to pretend that didn't just happen," Bonnie poked fun.

"Fuck off, Rockwaller," Shego growled.

"Shego!" Kim admonished. "There are kids here!"

"Oh, right. Fuck off, kids."

"Sheridan Go!"

Shego stuck out her tongue and Kim, still playful from the morning, climbed after the girl. Shego curled her knees around a bar and fell inward, agilely maneuvering through the openings of the dome to avoid the redhead. Kim kept pace, smiling the whole time as she gave chase without any clear goal in mind once she reached her target.

"How is it we're not the weirdest group here?" Felix rolled over and rested his chin on his palm.

"See?" Zita laughed. "We're not so abnormal after all."

"You must admit," Yori smiled brightly, "those two bring out the best in each other. I have never seen Sheridan so full of life."

"Rufus! Hang in there buddy!" Ron called sadly.

"Afraid!" the little guy almost seemed to say as he was gripped for dear life.

The rest of the group, plus any children nearby, spread away and allowed the girls to pursue one another through the small maze of bars. It was almost unbelievable how smoothly the two slipped and tumbled through the small openings with Sheridan taunting Kim and the redhead elated as she kept pace just enough to not lose her. It was almost a full minute before Kim managed to snatch Shego downward, feeling a sense of warm accomplishment as she fell with the raven haired girl and landed in the soft sand below.

They both landed back first, keeping Rufus safe as they laughed more happily that either had in a very long time and lay next to each other on the ground. Kim leaned over and placed her head on the other girl's shoulder, finding a comfy place as she reached up and scratched Rufus behind an ear. Their laughter died out slowly and was replaced by a comfortable, wonderful silence. Time passed without Kim noticing, until she looked up to see several faces watching with a mixture of intrigue and bewilderment.

Kim flushed and hopped up and out of the dome, leaving Sheridan to scoff before releasing her naked prisoner and letting him return to his master's shoulder.

"You kids got nothing better to do than watch us have fun?" the green girl asked.

"No, no," Bonnie waved her hands. "We were just wondering if you two were gonna' wait until we got home or screw right here."

"You think about us screwing a lot."

"Now, now…" Yori said as she and Tara played peacemakers and Kim let a blush slip.

The rest of their time at the park was spent as a group along with Ron's, much to Bonnie's supposed displeasure, though she relented when she hypothesized that hanging out with them outside of school wouldn't affect their standing within it. Sheridan attempted to barb her, but Kim kept her cool as they walked and chatted as a wide group, forcing many of the joggers and runners on the track to maneuver around them.

After walking, they hit the workout equipment since they were all currently unused. Bonnie and Tara didn't seem too intent on a workout, instead focusing on talking and checking out the random, sweaty boy that passed by on the track. Kim, Yori and Sheridan actually made use of many of the machines used to limber up walkers. Even Zita cheered on Wade, who hadn't said much of anything all day but still did his best to keep up with the group.

Ron found a place next to Kim and joked around with her, not using the equipment precisely right but still enjoying himself. Kim was doubly surprised when Felix's chair actually shifted to allow him to stand upright, leaning against the main portion like a patient on an operating table. His secured legs and waist held him in place as the wheels backed him up to one of the pulley devices for upper body strengthening.

"So," Ron began almost too casually. "You and Sheridan, huh?"

Kim wasn't expecting that and couldn't form a response outside of staring at the boy incredulously.

"What?" she finally squeaked.

"Look, it's cool, I just…didn't really think you would, um…play for the other team."

Kim reddened, "What?!"

Ron shushed her and glanced at the group, who luckily hadn't noticed her little outburst, "Easy, I didn't mean to offend or anything. There's nothing wrong with it."

"No, no, no," she shook her head violently. "You got it all wrong. We're not dating."

"Oh," she saw his disposition brighten considerably. "Well, that's cool. I mean, it would be cool either way. I'll shut up now."

A slight hint of discomfort fell over them, but Kim didn't feel angry with the boy. She was more dumbfounded by how succinctly he'd implied something so…she didn't know what it was. Still, beside the embarrassment of his implication was a sudden and strong desire to open up about this. It was difficult to bring up around her girls, since she knew what they would say automatically.

"Ron," she began and he looked nervous. "You seem like the kind of guy who can keep a secret."

He raised his eyebrows, "I'm holding on to a few."

"I just…I don't know what I'm doing when it comes to relationships. I haven't been in many and the few I have haven't gotten much further than the basics. I'm not emotionally closed off, but I think I have some problems telling exactly how I feel about someone."

"Example?" he seemed serious, which she appreciated.

She sighed and looked around, making sure they weren't being eavesdropped on before she continued, "I kissed Hiro last night at Camille's party. Well, he kissed me really, but I didn't reject him."

He actually glowered at that, "Yeah, he's pretty popular with the girls; must be the hair. So, what was the problem?"

"I didn't hate it, but I also really didn't get much out of it. I'm curious, but I'm also not chomping at the bit to progress."

"Sounds like he might not be your type."

"I don't have a type. He's just so…dangerous. Like he's approachable, but there's an air of menace around him. I don't feel threatened, but I also feel kinda' guarded around him."

"I thought chicks dug that."

"Not all chicks are the same."

He raised an eyebrow, "High school chicks are. So, you feel like you can't relax around him. Maybe you're looking for someone to feel more comfortable around. It makes sense."

She pondered that for a moment. It seemed like a simple enough answer, save for the fact that many people she knew fell under that category. She was comfortable around all of her girls, even Yori, and she was very comfy around Sheridan. Even further, she felt no danger from Ron or his group either. It wasn't just as simple as feeling safe.

"Can I ask a personal question?" he asked and she nodded. "Do you like girls or guys?"

She hesitated as she soul-searched to find an answer to a question she'd been internalizing for so long, but never was forced to say aloud. Ron waited patiently as she mulled it over in her brain, wrestled with a question she felt she could never answer. Her mouth opened and closed several times as she worked up that Possible courage and grit.

"Both," she finally answered. "I think."

"Have you ever tried seeing if you prefer girls?"

"How would I even start?"

"You know plenty of hot girls," he smiled lecherously. "Just convince one of them to make out with you. If it feels right, booyah, you're into girls."

She narrowed her eyes, "You're envisioning it, aren't you?"

"Duh. Why wouldn't I be? I don't know if you've heard, Kim, but you're kinda' gorgeous. Bonnie and Tara are smokin' too, so I say get them alone, triple kiss…"

His eyes swam with the fantasies he was describing and Kim groaned and went back to her workout. He wasn't taking it seriously after all.

"Hey, don't be mad, I'm just playing," he almost whined. "Look, can you keep a secret?"

"Sure."

"I'm kinda' speaking from experience."

That put a stop to any and all movement. She immediately granted him her full attention as she saw how sincere he appeared. He was also slightly embarrassed as she saw a tint of red crossing his freckled face.

"Explain," she said, realizing they'd switched roles suddenly.

He sighed, "You know Felix and I have a Let's Play channel online, right?"

"What's that?"

"We play video games online; stream them so people can watch us live. We play and talk over it, make jokes and whatnot. Well, we have a sizable fan base, couple hundred people, and lots of them are girls. Well, most of the girls kinda' ship Felix and I together."

Kim looked puzzled, prompting him to continue.

"Shipping is when you put two characters in a relationship when they aren't in one. It could be TV shows, cartoons, movies, books, games, you name it. Some of our fans even draw pictures of us making out and doing…other things."

"That's…," she couldn't find the words to say.

"It's weird, but it's also kinda' endearing. It's harmless stuff, overall. Anyway, a month or so ago, we were streaming when a group of the Ronix fans – that's Ron/ Felix – started practically begging for us to make out. We laughed it off at first, but we noticed that the more we seemed to consider it, the higher our views got. Felix and I have been bros for a long time, so we gave it consideration."

Kim's expression was actually thoughtful as she processed his story. He seemed too nonchalant about something that could mean more than he was letting on.

"You're thinking about it," he grinned.

"Did you?"

"Yeah. We finally relented and kissed, on camera, in front of hundreds of strangers. It wasn't intense or anything, totally hetero. They loved it, of course."

"What about you? How did you feel about it?"

"Eh," he shrugged animatedly, "I didn't get much out of it. I won't say I enjoyed it, per say, but I didn't wash my mouth out immediately afterward, so maturity points for me. The point is: Felix and I are still best bros afterward. Maybe we could have liked it and gone from there, but we also didn't ruin our friendship. I guess what I'm trying to say is: don't be afraid to experiment, 'cause you'll never know otherwise. I could have liked dudes, but I wouldn't know until I tried. Luckily, I'm still a grade A horn dog for the ladies and so is Felix."

Kim gave him a once over, this time allowing herself to see what an open minded, intelligent guy he was underneath that goofy exterior. There was wisdom in his words and Kim suddenly felt very certain he was correct.

"Thanks Ron," she gave him a beaming smile. "You've made a great day even greater."

"Hey, I'm here to help. All I ask in return are High Definition photos of your experimentation; video if at all possible."

"You're incorrigible," she snickered.

"That wasn't a 'no'."

She shook her head with a smile and let him have his wishes that would never come true. She did owe him something, but she had no intention of making public her personal matters. They spent the next hour halfheartedly exercising and talking before Kim's group decided to head back home. Kim convinced the girls to stay the night once more and promised junk food and movies. Yori seemed ecstatic about her very first "American style sleepover" and Tara seemed overjoyed she'd accepted.

Kim gave Ron a sizable hug for his kindness and wished his group farewell as she walked after her girls. Sheridan, uninterested in the cheerleaders, slowed her pace until she was next to Kim.

"You look happy," the green girl pointed out.

She did feel her cheeks slightly uplifted, "This place always brings back some bad memories. Today was the first step in replacing those with good ones. I'd say it was a success."

"Uh huh, and that would have something to do with you and Stoppable's little pow wow earlier?"

"You certainly pay a lot of attention to my personal conversations."

She actually sulked from that, "Yeah, well, Hiro might not be too happy about you two flirting."

Kim grabbed her hand and held her in place as the others walked ahead. She gave Sheridan an intense stare as the other girl flinched slightly.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Kim asked.

"Look, ease up; I'm not trying to chide you. You're sending out some conflicting signals and…I don't want you to get hurt."

"Who would hurt me?"

She laughed, "Nobody physically if your grip is any indication. But, emotionally, you're in a rough spot right now and romance only seems to complicate this kind of crap."

"There's no romance, Shego. Hiro kissed me, but that's literally as far as we've gone. I haven't made any dedications one way or the other. Ron was just being a friend, nothing more."

"You can't seriously ignore how blondie feels about you."

Kim sighed, "Yes, I know Ron likes me, but I'm not leading him on. He knows where I stand right now."

"Do you like Hiro?"

"Why do you sound worried about that?"

Shego bit her lip, "I'm not trying to discourage you, but just take my advice: choose Ron. He's annoying to a fault, but he's better for you than Hiro."

"What makes you think I want either of them?"

Kim had surprised herself by saying it without thinking. Even Sheridan was taken aback by the implication, though she didn't respond. They held eye contact for some time as Shego visibly tried to comprehend precisely what Kim had meant by that. From the looks of it, she wasn't having much luck.

"Kim," Yori had returned for them, "is everything okay?"

"Yeah," she answered a bit too quickly.

The girl gave a questioning head tilt, but didn't pry further as she wrapped an arm through Kim's and led her towards the car. Kim beckoned a still bewildered Shego to follow as they headed for their vehicle.

Sheridan was confused again. You'd think she'd be used to it by now, but every day with that redhead was another shocking revelation. She silently cursed Yori for breaking up their conversation just as it was about to reach interesting levels. All this time and she was still peeling back the layers the young Ms. Possible possessed and she kept taking Shego by surprise.

After they'd returned home, she'd assumed she needed to give Kim space after their little confrontation, but the other girl had outright demanded Sheridan join the cheer squad in Kim's room. With an uncomprehending squint, she'd relented and joined them if for no other reason than she had some hope that their convo would continue once they'd mellowed out.

It didn't hurt that everyone but Bonnie seemed more than willing to grant her access to their little fold. Tara and Yori were so damn friendly that of course they wouldn't deny her a smile and inviting conversation, though she did notice the platinum blonde was a little hesitant to really approach her. It was almost like she feared her and she honestly couldn't blame her with the reputation she'd garnered since arriving in Middleton.

Yori seemed to expect no ill will from anyone and had no qualms sharing personal space, though she mostly remained respectful of Sheridan's desire to distance herself from the group. Only Kim entered into her personal zone and touched her in any way and that was fine. Kim had earned that right a thousand times over. Bonnie gave her intermittent scowls, but it seemed more like a hesitance to accept her than an outright declaration of animosity.

Kim, ever the heart of the group, made sure everyone played nice and went far above her calling to ensure comfort. She made the popcorn, fetched beverages and played peacemaker like a champion. She also had no qualms about allowing the girls to choose movies, much to everyone's annoyance when Shego chose a horror movie at random. Girls and their weird fear of anything horror related.

Still, it had accidentally become the movie of the night. It was called The Babadook and had caused them all to scream aloud or at least grip bed sheets or comforters in rapt anticipation. Even as a horror buff, Shego had to admit it was one of the best ones she'd seen in a long, long time. It had also offered a few more instances of what Shego had begun to refer to as the Lesbian Pollen that was evident in Middleton.

Lesbian Pollen hypothesized that whenever men wrote female characters they more often than not made them either lesbian or bisexual, ensuring they would always have an attraction to other females. This seemed to be true for the cheerleaders now, as everything they did could be misconstrued as intimate.

You'd be a fool to miss the real sexual tension between Bonnie and Tara, but Tara also seemed to have a little girl crush on Kim. As much as she hated to admit it, she could see where Bubbles was coming from. Kim had everything you'd ever want in a girlfriend and then some. Still, she couldn't shake the obvious, sincere attraction all three girls held for their respective boys; well, used to in Tara's case. Shego wondered if it was just something between the three, like an unspoken agreement of intimacy.

Throughout the movie, they'd leap into each other's arms or slam their faces inside the napes of their necks or chests. Tara especially couldn't handle the tense atmosphere that filled the movie and found a home multiple times between Kim's unimpressive mounds. On other occasions, she'd claim a death grip with both arms around one of Bonnie's and simply refuse to let go. It didn't bother either of them.

Yori seemed to be the only one who didn't act out as what one would consider homosexually, but then again she hadn't known her for too long. Maybe the Pollen would infect her before the night was through. Shego suddenly laughed lightly at herself for putting this much effort into thinking about it. They were sixteen after all; these were the times one started questioning their sexuality. It didn't help that all of them were between the range of cute to smoking hot and all had decided, despite the cooling weather outside, to wear as minimal clothing as possible.

Speaking of which, Shego was forced to make herself tear her eyes away from Kim's exposed midriff yet again. She kept unconsciously hovering over to it and admiring just how…perfect it was. Toned without visible muscle, it pushed that little button inside Shego that made her drool. She loved tight stomachs, a taste she'd always possessed, and it was sometimes difficult to ignore the really impeccable ones.

Shit, I'm actually drooling.

She wiped the small bit of saliva that had collected at her mouth and groaned internally at what that had just implied. She was now officially crushing over Kim, at least her physical appearance. She knew what was going on: her rejection of Josh the night previous had opened up a part of herself she'd suffocated with anger these past few months. She hadn't needed sexuality, since her rage had been more than enough to satiate her emotions for some time.

Now, thanks to that very same redhead, she'd calmed enough to start realizing that she was really, really Jonesing for some quality time. It wasn't even a desire for sex, but more a need to have someone physically remind her of how desirable she was. Being told verbally she was beautiful wasn't as effective as having someone physically show how badly they wanted you.

Several months ago, without her parents knowing, she'd been seeing an older guy named Mitch. He'd been eighteen, set to graduate in short order, and had been the most magnificent kisser she'd ever experienced. The man knew his way around a neck and could sometimes reduce her to a quivering mess after several minutes of making out. He'd even been lucky enough to score a boob fondle before she'd shut him down. It was only her increased anger issues that had forced him away. She kinda' missed him now and wondered if she should try and get in touch with him. She hated begging for romantic attention, but she really, really needed someone to touch her right now.

"Penny for your thoughts?" Kim suddenly sat beside her, the small beanbag giving little room for both and thusly causing them to flop next to each other.

Oh, oh, ask Kim to do it, her mind begged. "Sorry, I must have spaced out." Coward!

"Sorry about the chick flick," she referred to the current movie, some vapid love story about amnesia and Channing Tatum, the worst actor this side of Megan Fox. "I'll see if we can't throw on an action movie next."

"Don't change it on my regard. I have more than enough in the old noggin to keep me occupied."

Kim pouted, "But you're supposed to be bonding. You can't claim to hate Tara and Yori. Look how cute they are."

"They've got nothing on you, Cupcake," she didn't even give thought to thinking that one through before spouting it.

Kim went bright red, but laughed it off and tossed popcorn at her. Shego actually giggled at that little display, Oh my God, did you just giggle?! What in the absolute fuck?! Just ask her to do you already!

She internally screamed at her brain to give it a rest. This wasn't happening; not with Kim or anyone else. She had no desire to beg for wound licking from someone and she dreaded putting herself and Kim into any scenario that would jeopardize their friendship. She'd go celibate before risking the headway they'd made.

"Shego…," Kim suddenly mumbled, still glowing from embarrassment.

"Hmm?" the green girl was immediately piqued by her tone.

"…do you think it's weird...?"

She awaited the obviously difficult question the girl had brewing.

"Nevermind," she smiled it away and attempted to move, but Sheridan shifted in the bean bag and forced her bag down.

"I hate it when people do that," Shego grumbled. "Don't start a potentially interesting sentence unless you intend to finish it."

"It's nothing…it's weird."

"Try me."

Kim bit her lip and contemplated escaping, but she knew that, of anyone, her new house guest could catch her and make her talk. Kim actually seemed incapable of avoiding Sheridan's questioning.

"I talked to Ron today about…Hiro. About how I felt about him."

"How do you feel about him?" Sheridan took it to a whisper to avoid interrupting the movie.

"Uncertain," she said without hesitation. "Not just because of whom he is, but because…I don't think he's my type."

"And Stoppable's response?"

"He thinks I should just kiss…other people and find out."

"Aaaaand what do you plan to do about this?"

She replied with a simple, downturn of her eyes, the universal sign of who the hell knew. Weird; Shego was positive Kim was on track to winding her way around Hiro's finger and finding a home there. She was actually very pleased she'd been wrong about the redhead falling for the boy's Casanova act. So, Hiro wasn't her type, she was practically lip sticking it with either Tara or Bonnie or both, and she out loud announced earlier that she might not be interested in either Ron or Hiro.

That left only one option and she was just as likely to write that off as anything, yet everything the other girl did kept pointing to her swinging both ways, but much more noticeably towards the female persuasion. That brought a giddy little tingle to her stomach. Now, all that was left was to bring these emotions out in the open.

She didn't continue their conversation, but instead formulated a plan as the movie thankfully, finally ended. The girls collectively separated to relieve themselves or score some more snacks, which gave Shego even more time to scheme. Before the crew could choose another film, Sheridan made sure the door was closed and locked and made her way to the center of the room.

"Attention, ladies," she began, "and I use that term loosely for some of you. I'd like to take this moment to conduct a little theory of mine."

"What are you up to?" Bonnie frowned.

Shego took her time answering as she scooped up a random shirt and spun it into a makeshift blindfold, "I'm proposing a game of sorts. See, you girls seem very close knit. Some would say a little too close for just friends. I'm not judging, but I am curious as to just how…friendly the lot of you can actually be."

"I don't like what you're implying," the brunette's frown somehow deepened.

"I'm far past implying, but we'll skip the details," she began tossing the blindfolds to everyone. "Needless to say, one of you needs answers to a question you refuse to ask, so I intend to make this easy for her."

"Who?" Tara asked with slight hesitation.

Without answering, Shego merely grinned and slowly turned an extended finger to the wide eyed redhead.

"What?!" Kim yelped.

Sheridan walked to her, full of confidence, but also surprisingly calm and careful as if she were afraid she might spook the other girl. She extended a hand with a bright smile, the one she only used with them and with her back turned to the others so only Kim could see it. It was a plea for trust and, despite her misgivings, Kim accepted it without much hesitation.

She was walked to the middle of the room, in between all the girls as Sheridan gently pushed her down to her knees. Quickly, she used a shirt to blindfold her with obvious care.

"I'm not blind," Shego continued. "I see how popular Cupcake is and not just with the boys. In fact, I think she has an admirer much closer than she thinks. That being said, here is the test: we all blindfold ourselves and wait until the count of ten. If anyone in this room thinks of Kim as more than just a friend, she can remove her blindfold and give Kim a nice, little smooch to show it."

"What?!" Kim felt her entire body ignite from embarrassment. "How can you ask someone to do that!?"

"Are you saying you aren't curious?" Shego said directly into her ear.

Her lack of sight only allowed her to focus on the husky breath that traveled across her ear and neck, causing her to stiffen. Oh God, she should have never told Shego about her talk with Ron. What was she going to do!? Should she do anything? Maybe none of them would take up that offer. Then again, she had the strange feeling that one of them would. That garnered two completely different reactions from her.

On one hand, she didn't want to place that kind of awkweirdness on her relationship with her friends. Then again, she was very, very curious what would come of such a scenario. What if one of her girls did hold feelings for her? Was she ready for that? What if Sheridan…?

"Kim?" Yori asked, almost a full question of her willingness to proceed.

No one outright objected and Kim wondered if that was because they too were curious. The more Kim thought about it, the more sensible it became. At least Shego had thought to include blindfolds. That way, the kisser would remain anonymous to everyone but themselves. It would prove someone did have affection without outing them in front of the whole room. Ron's words came back to her and she tried to cease her incessant shaking and appear brave.

"Everybody, on your knees and at the same distance from her," Shego ordered. "After the ten seconds, if you feel so inclined, take off your blindfold and crawl hands and knees to her. Silently, if you prefer no one hears you. You get one minute to kiss her and retreat before we can all see."

Bonnie huffed, but she also didn't hesitate in following directions. Kim's heart began to beat at faster and faster intervals. By the time they'd all been blindfolded, it was jackhammering to the point of panic. There was a moment of silence as everyone prepared themselves for whatever they intended to do. She was almost certain the others could hear her heart pounding against her ribcage.

"One, two, three…," Sheridan counted down at a steady pace.

Kim balled her fists so tight her nails dug into her palms. She grit her teeth, but held back on hyperventilating. She began to count her minute as butterflies waged war in her abdomen. Every second was one more nervous breath and by ten seconds she wondered if anyone would take the offer.

It was fifteen seconds in when she finally felt a hand grab her shirt. She tensed immediately and the hand attempted to steady her. She tried to gauge what direction it had come from, but the person could have simply come a different way to throw her off. Another hand softly cupped her cheek and Kim's face warmed from the touch. Whoever it was understood she was nervous and took the time to reassure her physically before continuing.

Kim exhaled deeply as she felt air from nostrils softly coursing against her chin. That was immediately followed by a soft set of lips hesitantly touching her own. It was meek at first, almost timid as the kisser merely put their lips together and let the sightless girl understand that they were there. Kim lost her count as her mind blew into frenzy. It could be anyone; there were no defining characteristics from touch alone.

That soft, chaste kiss was followed by the hands moving to her blindfold and ever so slowly beginning to lift it. Kim opened her mouth, but a single finger hushed her. Light filtered in a bit at a time and she blinked away the spots and made eye contact with whoever had taken this opportunity to out themselves. She saw dark hair around a lovely face and doe eyes that glistened with nervous apprehension.

Kim's expression changed to stunned shock as Yori placed a finger to her own lips, silencing whatever exclamation Kim had brewing before leaning back in for a much less chaste kiss.
