Sorry for being late! As always, I have writer's block so the updates will take a while. I do not own One Piece or Fairy Tail. Enjoy! :)

"Well! Since you guys worked so hard on planning the event, you should have some fun now!" Gray smack Natsu's and Luffy's backs.

"You should go around to see the other events," Vivi suggested.

"But we can't just leave you guys-!" Lucy protest. The others were starting to argue as well. But their friends wouldn't have it; they pushed them out of the door and waved.

"So," Luffy began, "where do you want to start first?"

"I heard there's a cafe. You hungry?" Nami looked at a board with the events and classes listed.

"Shishishi. Okay, we go there first!" Luffy grinned.

Nami laughed at his childish actions. "I thought so."

The cafe was in Class 12-A. Surprisingly, they found it to be a very cute cafe with all the waiters and waitress wearing animal ears. The room was decorated nicely, and there was a sweet smell coming from it.

"Oh, Luffy. Nami. Welcome," Robin handed them their orders when the two sat down. "Are you touring the events?"

"Mhm," Nami nodded. "Our classmates forced us to go have fun since we were in charge of planning and everything else."

"Hey," Luffy looked up from the menu. "Is Sanji cooking all of this?"

"He has some helpers. But yes, he's the main chef," Robin confirmed.

"No wonder you have so many people!" Nami exclaim.

"Sanji's cooking is the best!" Luffy licked his lips. He then started to order food after food. Robin simply smiled and wrote them down.

"Hmm, I'll take this parfait then," Nami ordered. Robin nodded and wrote down her order. The black haired girl then took their menus and left.

"With Sanji's cooking and the cuteness of a cafe, we might have some serious completion here," Nami muttered.

"Don't worry about it," Luffy said. He grinned. "We made the event, didn't we? I'm sure it's gonna end well!"

"Yeah, I guess so," Nami smiled softly.

And then there was silence. The two had finally remembered how long it was when they were alone like this ever since that 'fight'.

Nami shifted uncomfortably in her seat, unsure of what was going to happen next. She wanted to say something but couldn't bring herself to.

"Hey Nami," Luffy's voice tore through the silence like it was nothing. She looked up at him. His straw hat was covering his eyes and he was looking out of the window. "I'm sorry."

She blinked, looking at him in silence for the longest time. "Wha-?"

"I'm saying I'm sorry for what I said before. I didn't mean it," Luffy looked at her, annoyed by the fact he had to explain it. "It was stupid and I can't believe it went on for so long." Nami giggled softly and he looked at her in confusion. "What?"

She shook her head. "It's just that, for this childish fight, we made everybody so worried. I felt really bad about it." She smiled at him. "I'm sorry too. I guess I was too stubborn."

"Now I feel better!" Luffy grinned. She laughed and he joined in.

"Are you on a date?" Mirajane suddenly showed up at their table, bringing them drinks. She had a glint in her eyes and her smile was too dangerous.

The two jumped, having not seen the older girl come towards them at all. Quickly, Nami shook her head, blushing. "N-No! We're just looking at the other events together!" Luffy, dense as always, didn't look like he cared. Rather, he seemed bored.

"Well, enjoy your time then," Mirajane winked and left.

"Where do you want to go?" Natsu asked Lucy, looking around as they stood in the courtyard of the academy. Many were coming in and out of the school; making their way to one event after another.

"Hmm, I don't know about the other events," Lucy said. "Maybe we could just look around until we find something fun."

"Natsu!" Lisanna suddenly ran up to them, smiling widely when she saw the pink haired boy. She didn't seem to notice the blonde, who backed away a few steps and turned around.

"Oh, Lisanna!" Natsu smiled. "That costume looks good on you."

Lisanna was one of the current stamp holders. She was wearing an angel costume. The white haired girl smiled, blushing. "Really? You think so?"

Meanwhile, Lucy, who had grabbed a flyer and was using it to hide her face even though her back was to them, was listening. She sweat-drop at how easily Natsu could say such words to a girl. He was a natural flirt.

"Have you given a stamp yet?" Natsu asked.

Lisanna nodded. "Yeah. The event is going along great! I saw one person with three stamps already."

Natsu grinned. "I knew it would be awesome!"

"Hey, um, Natsu?" Lisanna looked at him.

"Mhm?" Natsu was already looking around for the blonde. He was annoyed with her having ditched him so soon and without him knowing.

"I was wondering if you had a partner to the ball tonight," Lisanna asked, sounding nervous. Lucy quickly listened in; wondering the same thing. "If you don't I-!"

"Sorry," Natsu turned to look at her. "Mira told me to take someone else because that person didn't have a partner." He rubbed his head sheepishly. "I have to talk to this person about something so I agreed."

'Mira-san?' Lucy was starting to really wonder who this 'someone' is.

"Oh, okay then," Lisanna said, smiling weakly. "Well, I should get going. Maybe we can do something together during another break?" She said this with hope in her eyes.

"Sure!" Natsu grinned. "Let's invite the whole gang with us!"

Lucy almost smack her palm against her forehead when she heard this. How dense can he be?

Lisanna sweat-drop, sighing in defeat. "Of course." With a wave, she left.

"Huh? Hey Lucy!" Natsu finally spotted the blonde, and hurried to her side. "Where were you?" He looked annoyed.

"Right here the whole time," she told him.

"What? Why didn't you say anything?" He complained.

"Because Lisanna suddenly came and I didn't want to interrupt your talk," Lucy stated flatly. It was the truth.

"She wouldn't mind," Natsu said, looking at her in confusion.

'Yes. Yes she would,' Lucy thought to herself, but she didn't say anything out loud.

"Anyway, can we go now?" Natsu pointed to a stand, and she nodded. He grabbed her hand and ran off, leaving her screaming at him to let her go. He simply laughed.

"It's just like that night."

"How about this one?" Luffy pointed to a sign that said 'Kuja'. They were outside, and it looked like the archery club were issuing a challenge to the people.

"Aren't they the best archers in the school? The Kuja?" Nami commented as they walked into the stands; where roaring fans were cheering and placing bets for the contest.

"They're really good," Luffy said, watching as each member got a bulls-eye.

There was a sudden drum roll, and everybody fell silent. An announcer suddenly came to view. "Please welcome the pride of the Kuja; Snake Princess Boa Hancock!"

A tall, black haired girl came out from behind a closed curtain. In the audience, people were soon waving flags with her picture and shouting her name; captured by her beauty.

"Isn't she rumored to be the most beautiful girl in the school?" Nami blinked at the sudden cheering.

"Hey, she's the girl I saved the other day!" Luffy suddenly shouted. The only one who heard him was Nami because of the loud cheering. He laughed. "I didn't know she was in the archery club!"

"You know her?" Nami asked, an uneasy feeling in her chest.

"Yeah. She's the one I asked to make our costumes. I still don't know why she was so happy to do it," Luffy shrugged.

"Huh," was all Nami said in reply.

"We should thank her when she's done with whatever she's doing," Luffy suggested. Nami simply nodded.

After the greeting and fan-screaming was done, Hancock made her way to the audience, still standing in the ring. She waved to the fans who rush to get closer to her.

"Hey! Hancock!" Luffy shouted. The black haired girl turned in his direction, and suddenly, her face became very red.

"L-Luffy! What are you doing here?" Within minutes, she was up and beside him. Her female guards blocked the crowd from getting closer.

Luffy grinned, which just made the poor girl want to faint. "I came to see the event. I didn't know you were here."

"The principals let the archery club do our own event instead of with our class this time," Hancock explained.

"Still, this event is really awesome! Look at how many people came!" Luffy commented.

"W-Well, if you think it's good," Hancock sputtered, smiling widely.

"Oh yeah," Luffy remembered, "Thanks for making the costumes for our event. It was really helpful."

"My costumes aren't that good-!" Hancock replied, blushing.

"Nami, thank her too," Luffy turned around, revealing the orange haired girl, who had tried to sneak away.

"Nami?" Hancock frowned.

"Um, thanks for helping in our event," Nami smiled. She held out a hand. "My name is Nami. Nice to meet you-?" She sweat-drop as the black haired girl glared at her. Nami dropped her hand quickly.

"I'm Hancock," the girl introduced herself. She was wearing a forced smile. "Nice to meet you too."

Somewhat annoyed all of the sudden, Nami grabbed Luffy's arm, making Hancock fumed with anger. Luffy looked down at the orange haired girl. Nami smiled up at him. "Do you want to look at more events?"

Luffy grinned, nodding. "Yeah!" He turned to Hancock. "Sorry, we have to go."

"B-But-!" Hancock stammered.

Nami smirked in victory, hiding it behind her hand. Nami: 1; Hancock: 0.

"Hey Luce, why don't we go there next?" Natsu grinned, pointing at a Haunted House near the back of the school courtyard. Despite its horrifying appearance, there were a long line of customers; most of whom were couples hand-in-hand.

"What?!" Lucy shrieked, backing away slowly. "A Haunted House? H-Haunted?!"

Natsu looked at her with confusion. "What's wrong with you?"

"What's wrong, he asks," Lucy muttered, annoyed. A scream came from the Haunted House and the blonde jumped in fright. Her face was pale when she saw another person run out, waving their hands in the air; their face full of terror.

"Hey, they sound like they're having fun," Natsu mused.

Lucy punched him, making him hit a tree nearby. "No, they're not having fun! They're running for their lives!"

Groaning, Natsu sat up. "There should be a rule where girls shouldn't be allowed this much strength," he mumbled. Rubbing his head, he looked up at her. "Are we going in or not?"

The look on his face when he said that made her look so guilty that she was almost cursing him. It would be wrong of her to take away his fun. After a while, Lucy gave up. "F-Fine. One time, alright?"

Natsu grinned. "You're the best, Luce!"

"When did you start to call me that?" Lucy asked, curious as they got in line.

The pink haired boy ruffled her hair. "It's my own special nickname for ya, so don't let anybody else use it!" Blushing madly, she gave a timid nod; speechless.

Within moments, it was their turn to go in. Lucy took a deep breath as she stared into the pit of despair, okay, so maybe she was exaggerating quite a bit but she hated ghosts! She did well in staying close to Natsu as they made their way through the entrance and into the hall of death.

The inside was dark, save for the ghostly lights hanging here and there. White smoke surrounded the ground, giving the walls a dusty glow. There were scars and marks all over the walls, and red spots were scattered everywhere. It was truly a ghost town.

Small noises began to start, and Lucy would quickly jump up in fright when something became too loud. She thought someone was behind them, stalking them until the right moment to cut off their heads. The very thought of someone like that made her pale.

"You're walking way too slow," Natsu said, annoyed as he looked back at her. "I'll going to leave you behind."

"No, wait! Don't leave me!" Lucy said fearfully, looking as if she was about to faint from fright.

Natsu stopped, staring at the blonde. It was the first time he had ever seen her with such fear in her eyes. She was really afraid of this, and he had forced her to come with him. Feeling bad for what he had said earlier, he slowed down.

Lucy raced to catch up, stopping beside him. She flinched when she saw something really fast dart by. And then, she felt a warm hand in hers. Turning her head, she looked up at Natsu, who was looking straight ahead. Her eyes drifted down, and she blushed; seeing their hands clasp together. She actually pinched herself, making sure it wasn't a dream. Nope, it wasn't. A smile came to her face, and she felt himself relaxing. Just Natsu being there was enough to put her at ease.

"…I'm sorry," Natsu said quietly. Startled, the blonde stared in surprise at the pink haired boy. He turned to meet her eyes, and she couldn't make herself look away. "I'm sorry for what I said before. This was a meaningless fight."

Oh, so he meant the fight. She had almost forgotten about it since they were able to get along once the festival started. How time flies… Wait, now she sounds like an old lady. Lucy quickly shook herself of those thoughts. "I'm sorry too." She smiled at him sadly, causing the boy to be surprised. "Nami and I, we swore never to get along with boys too much."

He raised an eyebrow. "Why? Did something happen?"

Lucy laughed bitterly. "You could say that. Something that has haunted us since childhood. However," she smiled softly, "we're going to break away from it. It may take time, but I really want us to break away from that past."

Natsu was silent, staring thoughtfully at the girl beside him. A grin came to his handsome face. "Yeah, good luck. I'll help you."

Lucy looked at him in surprise, but she slowly smiled. "Thank you."

Natsu stopped, his hand coming up, touching Lucy's cheek softly. Surprised, the girl was silent. He leaned in closer, and she could hardly hold her breath…

"THE GOAT LAID EGGS!" A prop of an old man waving a cane wildly above his head suddenly appeared from the ceilings and there were creepy music playing. Ghosts with creepy faces were screaming 'CHICKENS ARE GOING TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD!' and floating around like it was nothing.

"AAAAAAAHHHHH!"

That day, the Haunted House had the loudest ratings of sound in the whole festival.

"Say," Luffy looked around. "Did you just hear somebody screaming?"

Nami stopped, looking around. "Now that you mention it…"

The two looked at each other, and then shrugged. They continued on their way, ignoring the fact that someone might have fainted from fright. The two were taking a look around the food courts that were making business.

"What do you want to do now?" Nami asked, taking a bite out of her cotton candy.

"Hmm," Luffy leaned down, and took a bite of the cotton candy. Nami blushed bright red, and was about to hit him when he stopped her. He licked his lips. "We could go back."

Giving up, Nami sighed. "Alright. We shouldn't leave everything to them."

"By the way, why did you start to insult me in the first place?" Luffy suddenly asked, catching the orange haired girl off-guard.

She sighed, suddenly realizing she was doing that a lot. "It's because of something that happened in mine's and Lucy's childhood. We became scared of being too close to boys."

"Huh," Luffy said thoughtfully. "That's unexpected."

Nami let out a bitter laugh. "Isn't it?" She slowly smiled. "But we're getting used to it. I think by the end of this school year, we can move away from that past."

"Do your best," Luffy grinned, ruffling her hair playfully. "I'll be by your side."

"Yeah, thanks," Nami smiled up at him.

'Maybe…This isn't so bad after all.'

And there you have it! Review! :)
