Harry had been getting in touch every day the week following his birthday, Vernon's sister was around and he hated her with a passion. Of course, instead of getting a letter from him on the 8th she instead got a request from Cornelius to go to the Leaky Cauldron.

Calling out her plans to Zara, certain that Dobby would explain, the brunette hurriedly ran to the fireplace and shot off with a plume of blue. Walking from the fireplace, she easily spot the man sitting at a booth, Harry on the other side, his trunk on the floor by him and Hedwig sulking in her cage.

"Oh Harry, what have you done this time?" Scratching the snowy owl as she moved to hug her dear friend, the witch then smiled at the Minister, "Good morning Neil."

"Good morning Mia," the pair greeted each other with an arm squeeze as Mia kissed his cheek, "As for Mr Potter, he is in no trouble, we have handled the problem."

"What did you do Harry?"

The teen blushed and murmured, "I blew Marge up, she flew away and the Ministry had to track the windbag down."

Mia struggled to not laugh and keep her annoyed look on her face, taking a second to compose herself, "I don't want to know why, she obviously deserved something but not blowing up."

"She is unharmed and we removed the entire incident from all members of the Dursley family's mind. The reason I asked you here Mia is because I know you are Mr Potter's friend and as he won't be returning to his summer residence this year, would your guardian allow him to stay with you. It is safer, given the current issues in our community."

She saw that the man wanted to say more but was trying to keep Harry in the dark, no doubt because he knew how much he had already dealt with in his short life, so nodded, "Zara won't mind and it's not as though we are lacking in space. Thank you for getting in touch Neil."

"You are welcome," he shook Harry's hand and was the one to kiss Mia's cheek this time, "Until next time my dear."

Chuckling, the witch waited until Cornelius had left before slapping her friend over the head, just hard enough, "Are you insane Harry? Blowing a person up? Neil could have had you expelled from Hogwarts for that."

"Ow," Harry rubbed the back of his head, "She was insulting my parents Mia and I know, I should have kept control of my temper but I let her get the better of me. I don't have to return now until next summer and I'm certain that the Ministry people have made it so that she doesn't come back to the house again while I'm forced to return there. Now, can we get going before we're really seen by the public?"

Seeing how many people were in the pub, the brunette nodded, "Dobby."

*POP* The elf was wearing his smock again, but when he saw Harry he instantly ran over and hugged him tight, "Harry Potter sir, Dobby is so happy you are well. Mistress Mia simply ran off yelling that the Minister wanted to see her and Dobby knew it was about the magic you did last night."

"Good to see you again Dobby," the wizard hugged the elf as he laughed, "As for Mia, I'll be spending the rest of the summer with her."

The tennis ball sized eyes widened with joy, "That is wonderful sir, do you wish for Dobby to take your things and set up your room?"

"Yes please Dobby, put him next to me, and let Hedwig go as soon as you get outside, she looks like she could use a fly," that got the witch a grateful look from the amber eyes before she, Dobby and the trunk popped away, "Well then, how about we get going?"

Quickly moving over to the fireplace, Mia threw in the 2 knuts needed to pay for Floo use and said just loud enough into the blue flames with Harry tucked in beside her, "Flamel Chateau."

Zara was waiting for them, alerted by Dobby relaying everything he had been told, and quickly cleaned them, "Hello again Harry."

"Hello Zara," the teen blushed, he liked her, knew she was a good mother, and they had spent a long time talking over Mia's petrified body, "Thank you for letting me stay here until school starts."

"No problem, not that I was informed," an accusing look hit her daughter.

"Sorry about that Zara, see Neil asked if Harry could stay because of what's going on, it wouldn't have been safe to have him stay at the Leaky Cauldron," Mia began to explain, only to see the laughter start escaping, so planted her hands onto her hips, "That's not funny."

"Yes it was," mussing up the green hair, the older witch stood and head back to her work area, "Try not to kill Harry please, I'd hate to have to explain the mess."

The older teen rolled her eyes, she was always getting that warning, and moved off quickly, "I can't wait to show you everything Harry. You'll be able to train so much more now, I can help you organise your mind, oh!"

In his hurry, the raven haired boy almost ran into the back of his friend when she stopped suddenly, "What Mia?"

"I can show you what I've learnt, I'll just have to find a way to bring you into my mind, hmm," with that thought gone for the moment to be worked on in her mind, Mia started back up again, "I realise it's only a month but there is so much you can get done in a month if you put your mind to it."

They were on the top floor now and Harry saw a stream of small bullets moving towards a back room, they moved above their heads and when he looked closely he saw the shimmer of a ward, "What's that?"

"Oh, an added protection, almost got Tonks with an experiment her first visit and realised I needed something a bit safer, so we have my experiment freeway," a large smile was on her face at seeing the gel capsules, her large one had needed a few adjustments but with these latest models were perfect, "They're heading to storage until I need them."

"Uh-huh," Harry just murmured as he followed his best friend, amazed in just how smart she really was.
