Hey everyone, thanks for all of the reviews! I am SO sorry that I haven't uploaded this in such a long time, school has been so brutal for me lately. And I was also ill for a long time, which didn't help anything. My sickness isn't even gone completely yet. Because you guys wanted it, there will be no 'Death Choice' in this chapter, and instead I will open a poll where you will all vote for who you want Clementine to talk to, and after talking to them their relationship will be improved with her.
And I wanted to say thanks again, because I've only uploaded eleven chapters to this story and I have over 330 reviews. That's just amazing. :D So thank you. And I would like to give a special thanks to everybody who reviewed the last chapter, because you all waited so long for the chapter to be uploaded.
So, without further ado, please enjoy the next chapter! :D

Clementine stood, staring at Luke who was desperately struggling with the walker. She had no idea what to do, she was frozen in fear. She tried to move but she couldn't. She had to break out of this state. She had to save Luke! She couldn't let him die, after she had witnessed so many deaths already.
[Grab Machete]
[Step On Head]
Bursting into action, Clementine ran past Luke, scrambling towards his machete. She reached out to grab it but she tripped over a stick, tumbling over and slamming down on the ground. She groaned as she looked up, the whole world dizzy to her. She slowly blinked, hearing Luke's groans as he struggled to fight off the walker. Pain was exploding in the back of her head and she couldn't concentrate clearly. Around her she could hear the snarling of walkers but she couldn't figure out where they were.
Clementine could see something silver glittering in front of her, barely in reach. When her vision focused she realised it was Luke's machete. She reached out for it, struggling as her fingers brushed against the hilt. She tried to shuffle towards it but she was aching all over. She gasped as she saw a pair of bloody shoes slowly walk past the machete. Clementine remained completely still, but it didn't work.
The little girl cried out as the walker snarled, crouching down to bite her. Clementine reached out as far as she could as the walker placed its hands on her back. Clementine managed to grasp the sword hilt and she let out a cry as she threw the sword at the walker. The blunt side smacked against the walker's head, making it fall backwards. Clementine panted heavily as she watched the walker slowly gain his bearings. As fast as she could she grabbed the machete and crawled towards Luke, pain shooting through her legs and her head.
She heard the walker stand up and limp towards her, groaning and moaning. She let out short breaths as she crawled, passing more walkers that slowly passed her. Luckily, Luke had managed to hold the walker off and was still struggling with it.
"Luke!" Clementine cried, but it only came out as a whisper because she was out of breath. Fortunately he heard her and his eyes drifted towards the young girl who was being chased by the walker. The man noticed the walker nearly by Clementine's feet.
"C...Clem!" He yelled as he fought the walker which snapped its jaws at him. "Behind you! Look out!"
Hearing Luke, Clementine quickly turned over onto her back and saw the walker tripping over her feet, falling towards her. Clementine quickly lifted the machete above her face and the walker fell onto it, the machete piercing through its forehead. It lay motionless on top of Clementine as she wriggled around, eventually getting out from under the walker. She tugged at the machete, pulling it out of the walker's brain. She grimaced in disgust but she had no time to lose.
Turning around, Clementine knew she had to get to her feet if she wanted to save Luke. She took a deep breath and placed her hands on the floor, letting go of the machete. She slowly pushed herself up to her knees, pain shooting through her legs from the fall. She then grabbed the machete and slowly raised to her feet, feeling like she would drop back down at any moment.
She then walked towards Luke, extremely slowly at first, but then she began to gain speed and before she knew it she was running towards him. She made it to him and raised the machete into the air, letting out a cry as she stabbed it into the walker's head. The machete stuck into its head but it didn't go deep enough and the walker remained alive, continuing to snap at Luke. Quick as a flash, Clementine pulled the machete out again and took a deep breath before slamming the machete back on on its head, making blood fly out and land on her trouser legs and Luke's face.
Clementine watched as the walker's eyes rolled back into its head and stopped moving. Luke still held it up, panting heavily, his eyes wide. He then threw the walker to the side of him and lay on the ground.
"...T...Thanks Clem..." Luke whispered and Clementine looked around. Walkers were still creeping out of the woods, and she knew it was only a matter of time until they noticed the two.
"Luke, we have to go! Can you walk?" Clementine asked nervously and Luke slowly nodded, getting to his feet. The two started running when Clementine let out a cry, tumbling to the ground.
"Clem! What's wrong!?" Luke asked worriedly, looking down at the little girl.
"My leg..." Clementine said quietly, beginning to feel dizzy. Luke quickly crouched down, picking up Clementine. He began running as fast as he could, the whole world a blur to Clementine as she slowly drifted out of consciousness. She saw walkers all around her as she slowly closed her eyes...
...
Clementine's eyes snapped open and she glanced around in fear. She didn't recognise where she was. She was leaning against a wooden wall, with three more wooden walls around her. There was a small window on the opposite wall to her with sunlight beaming in, bathing the floor in light. There was a flap on the wall next to her that looked like it could be opened, as it was slowly swinging back and forth.
She slowly made her way across the wooden floor, still confused as to where she was. She was also frightened. Where was everybody? Had they been kidnapped? Had she fallen unconscious and Luke had taken her somewhere? She didn't know. Remaining cautious, Clementine slowly pushed open the flap.
A cold breeze blew into the little room, making Clementine shudder. Sunlight shone on her face, making her have to cover her eyes. Feeling around on the floor, Clementine slowly made her way forward when the floor suddenly disappeared and her hand felt thin air. Feeling herself falling forward Clementine quickly drew back and opened her eyes, gasping at what she saw.
Below her, just a couple of meters away, was the familiar grass of her back garden. It was bright green, just like it was in the summertime. Clementine then looked around, realising she was standing on a large wooden platform that sat on a tree. Looking back behind her, Clementine saw a familiar building. Her old treehouse.
She had no idea what was going on. The apocalypse couldn't have been a dream. It couldn't have been. It felt so real. Looking around, Clementine saw her house to the right of her treehouse with the neighbours' familiar houses all around her. Had she fallen asleep in her treehouse and had this dream?
"No way..." Clementine whispered, not accepting it for a moment, until she heard their voices. The voices she wanted to hear for years. And she had finally heard them.
"Clementine! Come on down, dinner is ready!" That was her mother. That was Clementine's mother, who the little girl thought was dead. She thought her mother had been mauled by walkers, just like her father. But her voice was right there. Slowly peering over the edge of the platform, Clementine saw the smiling face of her mother and father there, looking right back at her. "What are you doing up there? You've been up there for hours!"
"Mom? Dad?" Clementine whispered, and her parents glanced at each other, confused. "You're both alive? But what about the walkers? Where are they? I thought you were dead!"
"What? You've been sitting in the dark for too long up there, you must have had a nightmare. We're fine, honey. Come down." Her father replied, and Clementine looked around again. The neighbourhood looked just like it did before the apocalypse. Nothing was ruined, nothing was abandoned, and best of all, there weren't any walkers.
"But...what about Lee? And Luke? And Kenny?" Clementine said, spilling out the names of everyone she had met during her 'dream'. She wasn't fully convinced that this was real life. Her father and mother shared a worried glance before they looked back at their child.
"Lee? Are you talking about Lee Everett?" Clementine's eyes widened as her father said the name of her guardian in the apocalypse. "How do you know about him? That news broadcast was on yesterday! Did you stay up and come downstairs? You shouldn't have done that, Clementine!"
Huh? Clementine thought. News broadcast...? Did Lee actually end up going to jail...?
"Clementine! Come down! Your dinner is almost ready and it'll get cold if you don't come down. I made your favourite!" Diana called, and Clementine sat on the platform, wondering whether she should go.
"...Okay. I'm coming down." Clementine replied, cautiously grabbing hold of her ladder and slowly making her way down it, keeping her eyes on her parents the entire time.
"That's a good girl." Clementine heard as she climbed. She only expected the climb to last five seconds, but then she realised she had been climbing for thirty seconds, and she still wasn't even close to the bottom where her parents were waiting.
She climbed quicker, but she didn't get any closer to her parents. Her parents stood there, waiting for her to come down. Clementine was thinking of jumping off but she didn't want to hurt herself. She kept climbing, and climbing, but she didn't get closer at all. She glanced back at her parents, and she let out a scream at what she saw.
Both of them were walkers. They stared up at her with their dull, emotionless eyes, snarling. Clementine screamed and clung hold of the ladder, her eyes wide as she stared at her parents. They didn't attempt to get her, they just stared. Stared and snarled.
Suddenly, more walkers began gathering around the tree, knocking over fences as they slowly walked towards it. Clementine watched in horror as she was completely surrounded, with the walkers clawing at the tree. She looked at her parents who continued to stare, before they slowly turned and walked away from her.
"No! Mom! Dad!" Clementine cried, wanting to run after them but walkers completely surrounded her. She suddenly felt the tree shift, and she realised it was starting to fall. She let out a cry as she fell towards the hungry walkers...
...
"Ahh!" Clementine shot up, looking around. She found herself in the arms of Luke, and he was running extremely quickly. The little girl frowned sadly. "It was a dream after all..."
"Are you okay, Clem?" Luke asked, looking down at her for a moment before looking back at the direction he was running in. "I heard you scream."
"I'm...fine." Clementine sighed, although she didn't feel fine. They ran further into the woods, until they eventually saw their group walking through the woods, looking around. They were likely searching for her and Luke.
They heard Luke's footsteps and turned around, all of them sighing in relief to see the two safe. They all walked towards the two except for Kenny, who ran towards Clementine. He stared at her with a look of concern on his face.
"Clem! Thank goodness you're safe!" He said in relief, hugging the little girl. "You wouldn't believe what we went through..."
