Disclaimer: *cackles evilly* This chapter has FINALLY come. The one and only CONVOYYYYYY. *blows confetti* This chapter Terra comes face to face with her past for the first time in 4 years and only God and Primus know how she's going to handle it. *smirks* I am about to enjoy this because I assure you this may just be one of the best chapters I've ever written.

ON WITH THE CHAPTER!

"Terra, darling. Did you miss me?"

I've never ran so fast in my life. For four years, I've avoided that voice. For four years, I've ran away from my past.

"Why the rush? Come back so I can finish what I started."

"NO!" I shouted as I pushed myself to run faster.

I grunted as I hit something hard. I looked up and froze in fear. The face I was looking at was one of my worst nightmares. The person who gave me my powers. The person who ruined my life.

"Hello Terra." Silas smirked as he reached towards me. "Struggle is futile."

"No..." I tried to crawl away but it seemed I was frozen in place. Silas was getting closer and closer. "No. No, no, no, no, NOOOOO!" His hand was right in front of my face...

"NO!"

I sat up fast, a fist full of fire ready to go. Once I saw that I was in my room, more importantly in my room alone, I shakily dropped my first and put out the flames. This has been the worst nightmare I've had ever since the experiment. And I've had a lot so that's saying something.

"Gah!" I yelped when my phone buzzed. I grabbed it, a non-rational part of me saying it could be Silas. But I sighed in relief when I saw that it was merely Miko sending the picture of Bulkhead and Wheeljack that she took yesterday. I looked at the time and saw that it was about to be 12 in the afternoon. A weird feeling grew in my stomach and I frowned. I'd learned to trust that feeling and it was telling me something bad was about to happen today. I just didn't know what.

I decided to focus on getting dressed. I put my hair into a ponytail leaving a bang over my forehead. I decided to keep it simple today and simply threw on an orange tank top, black combat shorts, and black combat boots. I threw on a pair of fingerless gloves and my shades. I sent a text to Miko, telling her to let Ratchet know he could open the ground bridge. I'd already told Optimus and Jack that I was going to be late coming to base so neither one of them came to pick me up today.

The ground bridge opened and I walked through. As soon as I was on the other side, Miko popped up to the railing and commented, "Nice of you to join us sleepyhead."

"Forget you Miko." was my reply. With Raf present, my choice of words had to be modified.

"Prime..."

Oh boy.

"PRIME!"

"Agent Fowler." Optimus greeted as he and Arcee walked into the main room. "To what do we owe..."

"What else?!" Fowler irritably cut Optimus off. "Cons! I chased them off with some hard odinants. But not before they blew me out of the sky!"

"Again?" Miko and I teased.

"They tried to smash and grab for the DINGUS."

"The whatsit?" Arcee asked, confused.

"Dynamic Nuclear Generation System. AKA DINGUS." Fowler pressed a button and an image of the device appeared. "It's a prototype energy source I'm transporting to the coast for testing."

"That's absurd." Ratchet scoffed. "Why would Starscream bother with such primitive technology?"

"I'm guessing to make a big bad primitive weapon of mass destruction. If this baby were to melt down, it would irradiate this state and the four next door."

"Did Agent Fowler say what state he was currently in?" Raf piped up nervously.

"I'm a sitting duck here Prime. I need you to spin up your bridge and send the DINGUS to its destination before the 'Cons come back for it."

"I'm afraid that sending such a volatile device through the ground bridge is out of the question." Optimus immediately declined. "Should there be an accident during its transmission, the radiation of which you speak would provigate through the ground bridge vortex and harm all 50 states and beyond."

"You got any better ideas?" Fowler asked.

The feeling in my gut intensified. I sighed. I knew what I had to do if I wanted to get to the bottom of this.

"If I may..." I trailed off, getting everyone's attention.

"Why exactly are you coming along?"

"It's my idea. Can't I join the ride to see how it plays out?" I crossed my arms and glared at Fowler.

My idea was simple. Optimus would transport the DINGUS in his trailer. Arcee would ride inside as extra protection. Bumblebee and Bulkhead would bring up the rear. The only thing I had to do now is was join the ride but Fowler was making it oh so complicated.

"Government matters have no place for a child." Fowler retorted.

"I'm sixteen." I dead panned. "And if government matters have no place for a child, tell me Fowler why exactly do I know these guys?" I gestured to the Autobots present.

Fowler opened his mouth to respond but stopped short when he realized I had a point. I smirked and said, "End of discussion. I'm going with." I walked past him and jumped into Optimus's passenger seat.

Fowler grumbled under his breath before hopping in his driver seat. He went to grab the steering wheel but Optimus stopped him by saying, "Uh-uh. No need Agent Fowler. I will handle the driving."

I snickered and Fowler glared at me. He sighed and leaned back in the seat. "This is going to be a long trip."

"You said it." I agreed.

"Autobots," Optimus began. "ROLL OUT!"

The feeling in my stomach grew tenfold and I couldn't shake the feeling that something big was about to happen. However, I didn't know what it was yet. So until then, I simply enjoyed the ride.

Elsewhere, a helicopter was beginning to trail Team Prime. A man sat inside this helicopter. The scar on his face made him look very intimidating. This man was Silas and to a certain somebody, he was a living nightmare.

Three energy signatures were shown on a screen. Silas studied them intently before speaking into a walkie-talkie. "They're transporting it in an unarmed civilian truck. Send in the ground units."

Silas was about to lean back in his seat and watch his soldiers work. That was, until a fourth energy signature popped up. One he recognized very well.

"Sir, is that who I think it is?" The pilot asked.

"Ms. Monique." Silas chuckled. "This just got interesting."

I sighed in boredom as I listened to Fowler talk poor Optimus's ear off. I'm probably going to regret this but whatever is setting my gut feeling off needs to go ahead and happen.

The sound of helicopter blades confirmed that statement.

I looked in the rear view mirror and saw a military green helicopter tailing us. I narrowed my eyes. It seemed familiar.

"That's the one! The 'Con who shot me down!" Fowler exclaimed. "Who is it? Wingnut? Dingbat? Skyguy?"

I shook my helm. "If there are some Decepticons with those names, I sincerely feel sorry for them."

"Watch your rear views." Bulkhead advised.

Fowler and I both looked at the same time and saw green and black armored cars coming behind us. They boxed Bulkhead in. The gut feeling made me nauseous. I feel like I know these guys.

"Feeling a bit constricted without the use of my fist cheers boss." Bulkhead commented.

"Remain in vehicular mode until absolutely necessary." Optimus ordered.

I checked the mirror again and saw another car come up behind Bumblebee. I was beyond confused. "A whole team of 'Cons?"

"What? I'm not picking up anything. They must be utilizing some kind of cloaking technology." Ratchet stated over the com-link.

I gasped when one of the cars pulled up on the side of Optimus where Fowler was. My heart stopped and my blood went ice cold when a head popped up and a voice said, "Pull over!" The man was dressed in a dark green uniform I would never forget for as long as I walk this Earth breathing.

No. No, no, no, no, no. Not them. Please God, not them.

"Well, I'll be dipped!" Fowler was shocked. I, on the other hand, am frozen.

"Our assailants are not Decepticons. They are human." Optimus announced.

"Human?" Jack and Raf repeated in confusion.

"Oh please. Taking on our 'Bots? They're roadkill." Miko smirked.

Breathe Terra. Breathe.

The MECH agent shot a round at Optimus, which he barely dodged. I was barely aware of what was happening. My mind could only comprehend one thing.

They found me. MECH found me.

All thoughts of the revenge I once sought didn't even matter. The only thing I felt was the ice cold fear of being kidnapped again. And even worse, that my powers could be exposed. A voice brought me back to reality. A voice I thought I would never have to hear again.

"I sure hope you take care of the DINGUS better than you do your captives." Silas remarked.

"Special Agent William Fowler here. Identify yourself!" Fowler commanded.

"I don't think I have to. Isn't that right ?"

"What?" Fowler whipped his head around to face me and I flinched. "You know these guys?!"

"Unfortunately." I whispered, fear present in every fiber of my being. And Fowler seemed to pick up on that and looked back and forth between me and the walkie-talkie.

"WHAT is going on?!" Fowler exclaimed.

"Aw, so you've kept them in the dark Terra." Silas commented. "I figured as much."

"In the dark? About what?" Fowler looked like his head was about to explode.

"Mr. Fowler, may I present to you the product of Project: Fire Emblem. The experiment that created the first human to wield fire and live to tell the tale."

No, no, no. My worst fear was happening before my eyes. Fowler's eyes widened to the size of saucers and he stared at me as if I was an alien. The one thing I was afraid would happen when they found out.

"You can do what?" Fowler asked slowly.

"Terra can WHAT?!" Miko and Raf exclaimed in unison.

"Terra?" Optimus asked. And that was what broke me.

I dropped my head and the tears started to fall. The events that were happening in all of my dreams were coming true. All because of Silas.

"Oops...I said too much didn't I Ms. Monique? But then again, I told you I would find you again didn't I?" Silas chuckled. "But back to more serious matters. You asked who I was Agent Fowler? I am Silas. But more importantly, WE are MECH. Fair warning: we will be helping ourselves to your device even if it means inflicting casualties."

"Is that so?" Fowler couldn't help but reply. "Tell me Si, what's the market price for a DINGUS these days?"

"He's not going to sell it." I said, my voice sounding broken. "He's going to use it."

"You know me so well Ms. Monique." Silas stated. "There's a war brewing. Between the new world order and the NEWEST. And the victor will be the side with the most innovative technology."

I sniffled. "You think you're the only one with the most radical tech Silas?"

The revving of an engine let me know that MECH had tried to open the door to Optimus's trailer and get the DINGUS. Arcee had drove out and the sound of an explosion was enough to tell me she handled business.

"Later Si." Fowler smirked.

"Don't underestimate him." I said quietly. "Silas is cold, ruthless, and will stop at nothing to get what he wants." Images of my parent's dead bodies flashed before my eyes. "I know personally."

"FIRE! Literally!" Bulkhead suddenly screamed.

I twisted in my seat and quickly rolled down the window. I yanked off my sunglasses to make sure I wasn't seeing things. They know my secret now, so no point in having them on anyways. My jaw dropped as I saw a huge fireball heading straight towards the DINGUS.

"Silas!" I screamed.

I made a split second decision. I grabbed the top of Optimus's hood and pulled myself up. After I was on top, I gained my footing.

"Terra, what are you doing?!" Fowler yelled.

I didn't answer. Instead I trained my blazing amber eyes on the fireball. My eyes were glowing. Literally. I lit my hands on fire, not paying attention to anyone's reaction.

"Uncle Sam's beard..." Fowler breathed.

"Wow." Bulkhead and Bumblebee chorused.

"By the Allspark." Optimus whispered.

I caught the massive fireball in my hands, letting my powers take the lead. No more hiding. No more secrets. And it's all because of HIM. I screamed and threw the ball back in the air. Unfortunately, Silas and whoever was piloting the helicopter managed to dodge. I swung myself back down to Optimus's door and climbed back in.

"Your eyes..." Fowler trailed off.

"Listen," I snapped. "I get it. You're in shock. You're riding with a living science project. Blah, blah, blah. But can we just deliver this thing and get back to base before you bombard me with all your stupid questions?!"

Fowler was silent. Everyone was.

Ratchet coughed awkwardly. "Well...it's time to initiate phase 2. Five miles ahead to the south, you will reach the rendezvous point."

After driving those 5 miles, I caught sight of the train. "There it is Optimus."

"Autobots, stay in tight formation." Optimus commanded.

Arcee took the lead and went off-road first. After driving into the tunnel beside the train, Bulkhead quickly transformed and shot at the rocks above the entrance. They fell and he transformed back before the MECH cars could see his true form.

I smiled weakly. "I guess part of my plan is still coming together."

We exited the tunnel after Arcee, Bulkhead, and Bumblebee had successfully delivered the DINGUS. However, my day only got worse.

"You've got to be KIDDING ME!" I yelled.

"Optimus, you've got company." Ratchet warned.

"This day just gets better and better." I remarked sarcastically as we all saw the group of Decepticon drones flying above us.

All of them shot missals one after the other. Optimus swerved to avoid them, but they ended up hitting his trailer. Which, in turn, is about to give up our cover that we still have the DINGUS. Silas is by no means dumb and he'll figure it out sooner or later.

I yelped when Optimus suddenly stopped and swerved around. I gulped when I saw the 'Cons had transformed and were standing a few feet away from us. I put my sunglasses back on. This isn't good.

"Agent Fowler, I'm afraid that if you and we are to survive, it has become absolutely necessary to drop our cover." Optimus proclaimed.

"Not this again." I groaned right before Optimus transformed.

I almost heaved whatever food was in my stomach. Fowler didn't look any better. I saw Silas's helicopter hovering above us and I knew he was just having a field day up there. Optimus walked over to a nearby cliff and sat us there. "Remain here."

"Will do." Fowler moaned.

Bulkhead stretched his arms dramatically. "After a long road trip, it feels good to get out of the car, stretch my legs, and KICK SOME TAILPIPE!" And so the battle begun. But of course the moment had to be ruined.

"Special Agent Fowler, Ms. Monique, you both live a charmed life walking among titans."

"Come on down. I'll introduce you." Fowler replied to Silas.

"In due time." Silas promised. "But in the meantime, I'm wondering how did the DINGUS disappear into thin air without a trace."

"Seems you know. Why taunt us?" I couldn't help but ask.

"Some people never change Terra." Silas remarked. "Now if you excuse me, I have a train to catch."

"Scrap." I swore.

"Prime! Silas got wise to phase 2!" Fowler quickly informed the Autobot leader via walkie-talkie.

"I understand...UGH!"

"Optimus!" I yelled as I saw a drone hit him with a log. I knew as soon as I heard a crash at the bottom of the cliff that he was out cold.

"Prime. Do you read? PRIME!" Fowler started to panic.

"It's no use. He's out." I shook my helm. "And I'm not letting MECH get on that train."

However, if I knew Jack, Miko, and Raf well enough I knew they were already planning something.

"Terra, what are you...?!" I didn't give Fowler a chance to finish before I opened a fire portal behind me and stepped through.

As soon as I stepped inside of base, I heard Miko saying, "What if we on first? You know, run some human on human action?"

"Absolutely not!" Ratchet and I said in sync, alerting them to my arrival.

"How did you..?" Ratchet trailed off.

Miko crossed her arms and gave me a look. "Just when exactly were you going to tell us you could control FIRE?!"

"Miko!" Jack glared at her.

I took off my sunglasses and put them away. I stared Miko right in the eye as I marched up to her. "Look, we can explore my past another time. " I was right in front of her now. "Right now, we have LIVES to save. Got it?" I hissed.

After a moment of shocked silence, I turned to Ratchet and asked, "Now doc bot, do you think you can get me on that train?"

"Didn't you just say no human on human action?" Miko retorted.

I laughed darkly. "If it hasn't occurred to you yet Miko, I'm no regular human."

"Still Terra it's not safe." Jack shook his head. "And you're not going alone."

"NONE of you are going. Look at what you're asking me!" Ratchet exclaimed. "Not only do you want me to bridge you into a confined space, but one travelling at 90 miles per hour! I can't even count the number of ways that can go wrong. Mass displacement trauma, twisted limbs, metal burn..."

We all gave him a look.

"Well, maybe not the last one." Ratchet grumbled. "Regardless, it is nearly impossible to fix ground bridge coordinates on something moving that fast!"

"Would it help if we had access to the train's coordinates?" Raf asked as he pulled said coordinates on to a monitor.

"Well..." Ratchet trailed off.

"Lives are at stake here doc bot." I reminded him.

Minutes later, Jack, Miko, and I hopped on out of the ground bridge and landed in the train. Right on our butts.

"That hurt my pride." I grumbled.

"No kidding." Jack agreed before saying into his cell phone, "We're in."

"I read you Jack. The cell phone com-link patch works." Raf stated.

The sound of helicopters blades caught our attention. I ran to the door and grunted while pushing it open. I peaked out and yelled, "They're landing on top of the train!"

"In 20 seconds, you're about to come to a fork. Brace yourself." Raf advised.

"If I was cruel like him, I'd blast that God forsaken helicopter with a nice big fireball." I scowled as I looked to the ground.

"But you're not cruel and you're most certainly not him." Jack laid a hand on my shoulder.

I only sighed before I yelped when we hit the fork. Silas's helicopter went the other direction before it steadied out and landed again, this time successfully. We all stared at the hole that was starting to be made with what was most likely a blow torch.

"So what did that buy us? 10 seconds?" Jack asked in disbelief.

"Raf is losing his touch." Miko commented.

"Get behind me." I ordered.

"Terra..." Jack trailed off.

"Trust me." I gave my best friend a long, hard look. "I'm stronger now. MECH won't know what hit them."

Seconds felt like hours. The hole finally fell in and I was faced with three MECH soldiers. I lit my hands on fire, ignoring Miko's gasp, and watched as they hesitated.

"What's the matter boys?" I hissed. "Realizing I'm not a scared little girl anymore?" I made my fire grew larger as my anger skyrocketed.

I became confused when they didn't make a move. I become even more confused when they retreated and the helicopter took up. I voiced my thoughts. "What the frag just happened?"

"You're pretty fierce." Miko smirked.

"And where did you learn Cybertronian curse words?" Jack raised an eyebrow.

I shrugged. "Ratchet mumbles them a lot. He's a cranky old 'Bot."

BOOM!

Jack, Miko, and I shared a look before rushing to the door. My eyes widened when I saw smoke rising from the tracks. That slagging Silas.

"Ratchet! MECH blew the train tracks. You need to bridge us out of here! The soldiers too!" Jack hurriedly said into the phone.

"We've lost access to the train data! I can't bridge you back without your coordinates!" Ratchet exclaimed.

"I'll see if I can buy us some time." I said as I used my fire to fly in to the air.

"Woah! Powers or not, you're still human! You can't hold back that train on your own!" Jack screamed.

"Would you rather die?!" I retorted.

I didn't give him a chance to respond. I shot out of the train and flew to the front. My body lit on fire and I gave a battle cry before placing my hands on the front of the train and pushing. I felt the train slow down but only a little. The fire propelling from my feet gave an extra push and THAT still wasn't enough. Jack was right. I couldn't do this alone.

An engine revved. I grinned because I know that sound anywhere. I screamed at the top of my lungs, "OPTIMUS!"

The sound of transforming reached my ears. Boss Bot run up alongside the train and started helping me push it back. Optimus skidded across the ground as he used all his strength to stop the train. I pushed my powers to the limit as I gave my all to help him. With our combined strength, we managed to stop the train right before it ran off the track.

"That was close." I sighed.

"Terra."

I flinched and looked up at Boss Bot. I realized this was the first time my own guardian had looked into my eyes. "Yeah Optimus?"

"You have much explaining to do." was all he said.

I looked at the ground in shame. I can only imagine how this is going to go.

I stood on the railing at base, gripping it until my knuckles turned white. Jack stood beside me as my support because we both knew I wouldn't last without breaking down. Team Prime, besides Arcee who already knew, and Miko, Raf, and Fowler stood waiting for me to begin my story. I started by taking my sunglasses off and my jacket, revealing my amber eyes and the tattoos Solaria granted me with. No use in hiding them anymore.

"Four years ago," I began, my voice already beginning to crack with fear of how they would think of me after this. "My parents and I were living in Tranquility, Nevada. Nothing could have prepared us for what happened that day." I took a deep breath. "We were all kidnapped by MECH. Me being the little firehead I am, literally, I tried to fight back and ended up unconscious. I woke up in their facility, alone in a room. That was when I met him."

"Silas." Fowler said quietly.

"Yes." I nodded. "I wouldn't show any fear to him. So he decided to break me." The tears started to fall. "He killed my parents right before my eyes. One bullet each. Quick and simple. And I had to watch. This is when the experimenting started. He sedated me. I vowed to kill him, but it seems I was a bit too shocked today to fulfill that vow. He told me I would be the product of Project: Fire Emblem. I didn't know what the heck that was until I woke up. My binds had been taken off and I carelessly tried to escape. I ended up tripping over a pipe." I laughed darkly. "Can you imagine how shocked I was when fire shot out of my hands to keep me upright? This is also when I figured out my emotions play a large part in how much control I had over my powers."

"My anger fueled my escape. I shot fire and ran, and shot more fire and ran some more until I was out of that God forsaken place. I didn't know hard far I had ran. That was until I made it to a sign that said Jasper, Nevada. I trained in secret for two years before I started to walk around and actually get to see the town. That's how I met Jackie boy here. The first person to know my story."

Jack smiled at me and gripped my shoulder. I gave a weak smile back through my tears.

"And then what do you know? Two years later I get caught up in an alien war." I chuckled at the sick irony. "Arcee here only found out my story because we both pissed each other that night."

Arcee couldn't help the chuckle that escaped her.

"The last part of my story are these tattoos. A girl named Solaria granted me even more power. For what reason I don't know. But each of these tattoos have a meaning. I've only tested out one so far but I guess not that you all know my secret I don't exactly have to be careful with hiding the others anymore. And here we are now." I finished quietly. "My secret has been revealed."

"Why didn't you tell us?" Bumblebee asked, hurt and anger evident in his voice. Hurt, that I kept it a secret. Anger, for what had been done to me.

"I didn't want you to think of me any different." I sobbed, my walls finally breaking. I looked at all of them with pleading eyes. "I only wanted you to see me as Terra. Not as the girl with powers. Not as a freak. Not as a monster. Just Terra."

"And also because Fowler is with the government. Being experimented on a second time wasn't on her to-do list." Jack added for me.

"Terra," Fowler was at a lost for words. "I would never do something like that. Your secret is safe with me."

"It's safe with all of us." Miko promised.

"When I get my hands on those MECH scum again..." Bulkhead trailed off, letting the angry threat hang in the air.

"Terra."

I looked up at Optimus, feeling very pitiful after imagining what my tear stained face probably looked like.

"MECH will never lay their hands on you again." Optimus rumbled, seeming as close to angry as I probably would ever see him. "And your secret will stay with us until we join with the Allspark. This I vow on my own spark."

"We're all family here kiddo." Arcee smiled at me. "And you're a part of it now."

I dried my tears up and smiled at them. "Thank you. ALL of you. This means a lot to me. And I promise from now on there will be no more secrets."

"Soooo," Miko said thoughtfully. "Now that we all know about your powers, how about you go kick Decepticon butt with the 'Bots?" An excited gleam appeared in her eyes.

"That," I paused. "Actually, Miko that's not a bad idea."

"Absolutely not!" Ratchet snapped. "Not only are you STILL ONLY A HUMAN, we have no way of securing your identity."

I smirked. "Ratchet, do you remember that girl that helped you and Optimus fight off those zombies?"

Ratchet's jaw dropped. "That was you?!"

"Sweet!" Miko grinned. "This is going to be awesome."

I smiled and looked around at me at my friends. No, my family. I didn't have to worry about my secret anymore and that lifted a huge weight off my shoulders.

And to top things off, I was now a member of Team Prime.

AND THE END! Wow, such an emotional chapter. I really loved how this came together. Terra's secret is no longer a secret! To Team Prime at least. We'll get to the 'Cons and June later. Now that Terra's secret is out, we'll be seeing a lot more of her powers and she'll really be able to get stronger and also develop as a character. This is going to be exciting! Until next time, I'm out!
