Haven't been posting for almost a month even though all I have is free time. I wanted to write, I even had the ideas planned out. But when I started writing, it's all crap.

I had been working on a story too, I wrote four chapters even, but I abandoned it because I haven't got a detailed storyline line yet. I only got the gist of the story formed in my head, but I didn't plan for the details.

So I went on to write another story because I was so immensely inspired by a book. I got the details recorded in my notebook, the plot planned specifically, the personality and background of each character fixed... Then I thought that I should wait til my writing skills have matured. Because immaturity will totally ruin that story.

So basically everything I've done has gone down the drain.

Boots

"He is called a king,

Not because he is a king,

But because I have seen,

That, A king only bows down to his queen."

-Tanishq Sharma

"What is it?" Robin caught Raven lagging behind as the team took big strides back to their comfortable home.

Raven frowned as she inspected her well-worn boots. "The soles are coming off. It could have peeled of when Mammoth fell."

Raven grimaced at the memory. The HIVE had attempted a bank robbery a while ago and the Teen Titans chased them up to the roof. Cyborg blasted his sonic canon at Mammoth. Mammoth fell and his heels tripped over the ledge of the roof. Meanwhile, Raven was levitating near him, ready to attack Jinx. Instinctively, Mammoth grasped the nearest object―Raven's left boot. Raven was caught off guard, but then she started to float upwards and apprehended the giant. He must have gripped too hard, almost ripping the entire boot sole off.

Raven lifted her left knee, causing the sole to dangle down from her blue boot. She shook her head in disapproval.

"Can you teleport? I can tell the others that you've gone home already," Robin smiled apologetically.

Raven sighed, "The fight with Jinx drained off quite a lot of my energy."

Robin smiled briefly. He took off his own metallic boots and handed them to Raven, "Here, you can have it."

"No, it's okay. I can walk without my boots," Raven pushed his hand back to his chest.

"No, I can walk barefooted."

"It's really okay."

"Trust me, it's not."

"You aren't going to let me win this argument, are you?" she sighed in defeat.

Robin arranged his boots in front of her, "Thank you."

"No, thank you," the corners of her lips lifted, giving him a rare smile.

Robin shrugged, "You're welcome."

Raven stepped into his metallic boots. It was big but comfortable, just like his heart.

This fic is inspired by my friend. We were hanging out in a posh mall today wearing our dresses and all. My shoe soles decided to betray me and started to peel off. My friend had a pair of sports shoe with her because she has a training to attend afterwards. She said she could lend me her sandals if the sole really came off. So there you go the fic.
