The Rules

Lienda couldn't help but smile at the mere thought at the end of school. She enjoyed the week without Amber Kingston; everything was so serene without the constant threat of having your high school life being exploited. Although she frowned at the sudden thought of that serene week coming to an end and the Queen Bee returning back to school, albeit in house suspension; Lienda reviewed the handmade schedule and of her friends in each of the classes, Art: Iris, Castiel, and Violette, Chemistry IB: Lysander, Algebra II: Nathaniel, French for native speakers: Melody, English II, Lysander and Castiel, Gym: Kim, World Geography AP: Nathaniel, and Study hall was last. "So I have all my assignments ready then, now I can review Algebra II and Chemistry my weaker subjects." Just as Lienda was about to head outside, she glanced up to see a handsome young man dressed in lavish Victorian styled clothes. "Um, aren't you the salesperson at a Step in Time," Lienda inquired.

He shyly nodded, "Yes and you and your cousin are one of my regulars, Missy and your name is Lienda?" The pinkette nodded and smiled at older man, prompting him to blush. "Your name is….Leigh," Lienda cautiously stated.

"Ainsworth," Leigh added, "Leigh Ainsworth, Miss. Lienda." He grinned.

Lienda nervously strummed her fingers against her bag's strap, "I hate to be nosy, but may I ask, exactly what are you doing in High school since well you look to be older than me, but you are much younger than Missy." She darted her eyes away from his gaze.

"Lienda it is okay to ask questions, I am not offended," he smiled and couldn't help but chuckled at the shy pinkette. Leigh's face suddenly became melancholic as he explained his reason, "I'm looking for my girlfriend, she goes here and we had an argument."

"Your girlfriend, who is she, maybe I know her," Lienda suggested, she couldn't help but feel upset about his plight.

"Her name is Rosalya Montgomery," Leigh answered. He shyly bit the inside of his cheek, "Do you know her? If you do, can you please tell her I am looking for her? I am not allowed to go any further because I am not a student here."

Lienda nodded understanding his reasoning, "Ok I will look for Rosalya I will be right back." She beamed at him accepting his request.

"Thank you Lienda," Leigh smiled as he witnessed the pinkette disappearing into a classroom.

As the pinkette entered into a random room, she noticed Lysander scribbling away in his notepad, "Oh hello there, Lysander." The white haired teen looked up from his notepad and smiled. "You haven't seen Rosalya have you?"

The sounds of scribbling stopped; his face appeared to be serious. "No, is there something wrong," Lysander inquired.

"Leigh Ainsworth, the salesman from a Step in Time, is here looking for Rosalya, his girlfriend, they had an argument," Lienda admitted carefully explained the situation.

Lysander carefully placed his pen with his the spiral of his notepad, "My brother had an argument with Rosa? I didn't know..." He appeared distressed at the sudden revelation.

The pinkette's eyes widen in surprise, "Leigh is your brother?" Yet they don't look anything alike, her conscious chided, processing the new information she just received.

Lysander chuckled amused at her expression, "Yes, why is that a surprise?"

Lienda blushed as she struggled to string a sentence together, "Um, Well…I wasn't really expecting that."

He smirked, "Well I wasn't expecting you to have a little brother, Jace, was his name?" She nodded in agreement, but inside couldn't help but feel guilty. Lysander frowned, "Leigh and Rosalya, they don't argue often, I hope they'll settle this quickly."

"I hope so too," The pinkette admitted, "I had a boyfriend once and he was wonderful, but we drifted apart due to outside influences." He paused and glanced over to the daydreaming pinkette, and immediately resumed writing in his notepad. "Hey Lysander"—the white haired teen paused—"if you see Rosalya can you notify me please?" He nodded as the door closed. Lienda blushed and bit her lip, "I am a liar." She made her way down the hall, and managed to find Rosalya moping at the bottom of the steps. "I knew you had a boyfriend, but never would have thought it was Leigh Ainsworth."

"He was my boyfriend," Rosalya glumly admitted, not meeting her gaze and continued to focus on the streak riddled school floor.

"Sweetie he is looking for you know, he wants to talk you," Lienda crooned, she cautiously sat down next to the platinum haired female. She cautiously draped her arm around her defeated form, watching to see if the female would reject her token of comfort. She didn't reject it. "What happened between you and Leigh? You know it is better to talk about these types of things rather than bottling them up."

Rosalya frowned and looked into her mismatched eyes, "Leigh and I got into an argument." She sighed bitterly and ranted, "Lienda he is always distant with me, to the point I don't even know what he is thinking or what his feelings are and that does get very uncomfortable."

"I see, so Leigh is the quiet, mysterious one," Lienda noted. She glanced over toward the heartbroken girl, "You should at least talk to him, I am not sure if you heard me or not, but he is looking for you right now, you know?"

Bitter tears gathered at the corner of her amber colored eyes, "No I don't want to. I'm always giving him the benefit of the doubt; I want Leigh to prove his feelings for me this time." She got up from her spot.

The pinkette couldn't help but nod, "Understandable Rosalya." Rosalya sniffed and made her way upstairs. "Poor Rosalya, I am going to get these two back together, even though I have very little to no experience in the getting back together." Lienda sighed. "I need some air to think of some good ideas." She made her way outside and sat down on the bench. "What do girls like? Poems, sweets, flowers, romance"—Lienda frowned as she closed her eyes.

"You aren't going to faint are you pinkie," Castiel badgered the entranced pinkette.

"No Castiel I'm fine, I'm taking my pills again," Lienda added eyes still closed but looking toward his general location, "I'm just thinking." She heard him scoff along with a crunching sound. She opened her eyes, and Lienda couldn't help but glare at him, playfully. "Did you know that Rosalya was dating Leigh?"

Castiel sat down on the same bench as Lienda, but across from her. "And you really think that kind of stuff interests me little girl?" He looked towards her unamused by that revelation, his infamous scowl proudly displayed.

Lienda tapped her foot against the pavement and sighed. She got up realizing that Castiel isn't very compassionate. "It's always a pleasure talking to you Castiel."

Castiel chuckled at her retreating form; "The pleasure is always mine, Lienda." The pinkette couldn't help but blush about the undertone of his statement and she immediately looked away. The sound of the door squeaking interrupted her musing. Lienda sighed in relief.

"Hey did you know that there is a cute yet strange guy in school," Peggy declared to the distracted pinkette, her microphone pressing close to her mouth.

"His name is Leigh, Peggy," Lienda corrected trying her best to contain her irritation from the budding journalist. She calmly looked towards her, and gently pushed the microphone away to a more comfortable area, "and he is here because he had a fight with his girlfriend."

Peggy frowned not liking the pinkette's actions, "Really?" She then withdrew a notepad from her pockets, and looked up to her enamored look. "I wonder if that will be a good scoop for the paper?" She inquired pen tapping against her chin.

"I didn't think we had a gossip column," Lienda admitted as she left the curious girl to her own thoughts.

Peggy realized the pinkette left. "Well there is always a good chance to start," she declared at her. Lienda shook her head. She noticed Leigh sitting down on a small stone bench within the school's garden. He looked up.

"Did you find her?"

Lienda nodded, "Yes I did." Leigh signaled her to continue, eyes hoping. She took in a deep breath, reciting what she and Rosalya discussed, "Rosalya mentioned that you don't show your feelings and she wants you to make the first step." She then heard Leigh sighing, and looked towards him, "Something wrong Leigh?"

"I'm not very good at conveying my feelings, but I really like Rosalya." The ebony haired man admitted saddened about his dilemma. He glanced over to the pinkette. "You're a girl maybe you have some sort of idea on how I can prove my feelings to her."

A stark blush stained her cheeks realizing she was being put on the spot. "Yes well I have been thinking on some ideas, but I'm not too sure," Lienda spluttered bashfully, toying with hair ribbon.

He smiled fondly at her bashful form, but immediately became serious. "I am willing to try anything at this point, Lienda," Leigh sighed, he curiously looked to her. "What do you have?"

"Well a poem, flowers, sweets," The pinkette sheepishly admitted. Leigh couldn't help but arch an eyebrow, at the somewhat cliché list. "Hey I'm just going with what I see in movies, I'm not a complete expert in this since I never got back together with my exes." Leigh sighed. The pinkette felt fired up seeing his defeated form, and got up. "Listen I'll think of something and I will get back to you!"

He grinned at her energized form, "Lienda thank you." Which earned him yet another blush from Lienda; she coughed and then made her way towards the gym. She waved at Violette who was idly sketching. Violette smiled at her greeting.

"Hello there," she greeted as the pinkette got close to her. The artist noticed her troubled aura, "Something wrong, Lienda."

The pinkette felt uneasy for asking but, "Violette you wouldn't know anything about how to get a couple back together," Lienda inquired.

Violette blushed and dropped her pencil. She quickly tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, "Um, I don't know since I never had a boyfriend before, I'm sorry." The artist didn't return her gaze toward the pinkette.

Lienda smiled at her reserved demeanor, "No it's fine, and there was no harm in asking, but thanks anyway." Violette blushed and resumed sketching while Lienda returned inside. Bi colored hues witnessed Castiel going through his locker. She let out an internal groan. Better get this over with it. "Hey what would do you if you and your girlfriend had a fight?"

Castiel looked up and smirked as he closed up his locker, "Easy move on to the next on," as he swung his backpack across his shoulder.

Lienda rolled her eyes. This is what I get for being desperate. She bit the inside of her cheek, "I see, if you have any serious suggestions you know where to find me, sweetie." Lienda walked away, ignoring Castiel's stare.

"Hey if you are referring to Leigh," Castiel began, Lienda faced him curious as to know where he found the information, "Lysander told me." He explained, "Honestly pinkie, he should just really move on and find a new girlfriend." Castiel smirked at her annoyed face, "Or is this really about your problem?"

Lienda blushed at his declaration. "I currently don't have a boyfriend or girlfriend." Castiel arched an eyebrow, and snickered. Lienda flushed realizing her statement, "N-N-Not that I see girls that way." She nervously bit her lip, and fussily closed her eyes. "Remind me to never bring up topics like this to you ever again, Crowe!"

Castiel pouted in a challenging tone, "So I'm no longer Castiel, Mercer?" He chuckled at her embarrassed, childish actions. "But I'm finally glad you finally said something intelligent." Lienda glared at him which Castiel brushed it off and walked away.

"Is there something wrong, Lienda," Lysander inquired. Lienda's eyes softened when she was greeted by a pair of calming eyes.

"Just Castiel being Castiel, Lysander," Lienda assured him, brushing off their latest debate. "Oh Lysander, I managed to run into Rosalya."

"Well what did she say," Lysander leaned against the lockers. Lienda sighed and felt hesitant to say Rosalya's input. "Is it really that bad?" He inquired.

"Not necessarily," Lienda sheepishly admitted, pulling on her blue hair ribbon, "um, well Rosa isn't ready to forgive Leigh, unless he makes an effort. I did mention to Leigh that I have a few ideas to win her back, but I want to hear your opinion, Lysander?"

Lysander frowned. He looked towards Lienda's bummed form. "I know her pretty well, I think we can come up with something, just give me a moment." Lysander tilted his head back, closing his eyes. "Do you have a pen and paper?" Eyes closed. Lienda began to dig within her bag, retrieving fancy scented stationary paper and a high quality pen. Lysander chuckled at the items that she gave him, "I never considered you to be a psychic."

"I'm not," Lienda admitted sheepishly, "I was hoping to write a letter later on today for a dear friend of mine." She avoided his gaze, "This was the only stationary left at the dollar mart mind you." Lienda glanced over to see Lysander furiously writing a poem. He handed the finished poem over to her, Lienda admired the poem and his elegant hand writing, "This is a beautiful Shakespearean sonnet Lysander, and I just know Rosalya is going to love it."

Lienda didn't notice Lysander's ghostly smile. "You like poems, and you knew the format?" She nodded and smiled at him.

"I'm not very good at writing them, but I am good at haikus and couplets," Lienda admitted. Lysander smiled. "Well I better notify Leigh, about your idea, thanks for the help."

"Lienda," Lysander called out. The pinkette turned around. "Why are you interesting in helping Rosalya and my brother?"

Lienda pondered at his question, "Well I have had a boyfriend, and I do know how painful it is to lose someone so special to you. How you are filled with so much regret and you can't help but ponder on the 'what if's. I don't know if that is what Rosalya and Leigh are exactly feeling, but I want to them to at least work it out." She then made her way outside, leaving Lysander stunned by her answer, and smiled, a light rosy hue stained his cheeks.

As she made her way towards the garden, she saw Leigh looking at this phone. He glanced up, "Do you have an idea, Lienda?" She nodded handing him a slip of paper. Leigh read over it, immediately recognizing the handwriting and format, "Lysander's doing."

Lienda nodded and coyly looked at her feet, "It was his idea I just provided him the utensils. I am going to give this to Rosalya, since I know you personally cannot go in there." Leigh embraced her, Lienda blushed heavily.

"Thank you for your help," Leigh smiled at her flustered form.

"You're welcome," Lienda quietly admitted and ran back inside. She fought the blush that stubbornly tainted her face. I never really had much physical contact with boys; I'm surprised I haven't fainted just like with Castiel. Then again he did declare that I was his 'girlfriend,' to Amber. Lienda looked up to see Nathaniel exiting out of the student council room and smiling at her.

"How are you Lienda," he greeted. Lienda's brow furrowed in deep thought. "Is there something troubling you?"

"If you had a fight with your girlfriend what would you do to get her back," Lienda questioned the student body president. Nathaniel blushed heavily, and awkwardly scratched the back of his head.

"I-I-I w-wouldn't know anything about that," Nathaniel sheepishly admitted, tugging on his tie. His gaze cautiously glanced over to the pinkette.

Lienda arched an eyebrow, "You never had a girlfriend before, Nathaniel?"

"I did," Nathaniel quickly regained his composure, "but we never got back together." He coughed. "Our breakups were mutual breakups, due to conflict in schedules." He further elaborated. "I would assume an apology gift."

"I have a poem, and I am just going with what I see in movies," Lienda hopelessly admitted.

"Who is it for," Nathaniel questioned. He noticed Lienda acting defensively. "If you and your boyfriend had a spat, I can help." Nathaniel noticed his tone was uneven, and she couldn't help but frown at his insinuation.

"It isn't for me, it's for Rosalya and Leigh," Lienda explained which made the blond relax. "They had an argument, and Rosalya wants Leigh to make the first move to win her back."

"All I know is from what Amber wants," Nathaniel admitted which he noticed the pinkette became hopeful, "expensive gifts" Her face then fell.

"It's good to think she is has high value, but too much and guys would just walk away instead of pursuing," Lienda critiqued on Amber's taste, "Nathaniel if you have any ideas or suggestions feel free to notify me." Nathaniel nodded and made his way to Mrs. Evans's office. She managed to catch up to Rosalya and handed her the 'Leigh's' poem. A frown graced her lips after she finished reading it.

"This really beautiful, and I know Leigh couldn't have come up with this on his own. I know he had help," Rosalya declared. She handed Lienda the poem. "I know this is Lysander's doing." She flashed a small smile towards the pinkette.

Lienda awkwardly scratched the back of her head, "Leigh is really trying Rosalya." Rosalya lowered her eyelids, carefully tracing the stationary. "Look he really is trying to change." Lienda gave a small curtsy and left Rosalya whose eyes never left the stationary.

"Did lover boy ever solve his problem," snorted Castiel as Lienda came walking pass him. The pinkette looked up and pouted at the red head. "What?"

"Did you ever have a girlfriend Castiel," Lienda inquired. I got you Crowe!

Castiel chuckled, "Yes." Immediately her face fell, the red head chuckled, "What are you interested?" Castiel relished the deep red hue tainting Lienda's pale cheeks. She quickly regained her composure and playfully glared at him.

"Sorry I guess curiosity finally killed me," Lienda admitted, her eyes darting back to her floor. "I'm just wondering as to why you are single, Crowe."

The red head rolled his eyes at her questioning tone, "Did I ask you a question, Mercer." Lienda nodded and immediately vacated the premises to slip into one of the first floor classrooms.

"What happened," Lienda glanced up to see Lysander curiously looking at her. "Did Rosalya get the poem?"

"She did, but she knew Leigh had help," she explained, sitting down on an empty desk. She noticed Lysander frowning in deep thought. "I'm not giving up, I do have an idea."

"This is troubling news," Lysander admitted, eyes darting back and forth from his notepad to Lienda. "What is your idea Lienda?"

"She isn't allergic to flowers is she," Lienda questioned. The white haired lad shook his head in a silent 'no'. Lienda beamed at the answer, "Perfect! I'll notify Leigh." The pinkette immediately got up and made her way to the courtyard. Lysander smiled at her cute optimism.

She has another idea, Leigh. He texted his brother.

.

.

"Lysander told me that the poem didn't work with Rosalya," Leigh admitted. Lienda noticed his dejected form, and rubbed his back, calming down the store owner. He smiled at her in gratitude.

"Now, now, Rosalya didn't hate it, just that she knew you had help," Lienda explained as she sat down next to Leigh. "I do have a second idea; I just have to know is Rosalya allergic to flowers?"

"She isn't," Leigh admitted. The ebony haired man looked into her determined blue and green irises. "I see." Lienda grabbed his wrist and led him to the school's garden. Leigh chuckled at her enthusiasm. He noticed that she led them to an elfin like jade haired boy.

"Jade I need your help," Lienda asked. He also noticed Jade was blushing, and looked towards Lienda who either was naively unaware or she just simply brushed it off. "Can you help me make a bouquet; please it's for my friend." Lienda looked towards him, bashfully. Leigh's face flushed at her innocent yet playful face.

Jade bit the inside of his cheek and frowned, "Is this for a special occasion?" He looked between the pinkette and the raven haired man.

"They got into an argument," Lienda quietly explained, glancing over to Leigh. Jade's face lit up, realizing the situation.

"Oh Okay," he smiled and listened attentively as Lienda further elaborated the situation. The botanist looked towards Leigh, "Have you ever heard of floriography?"

"It rings a bell," Leigh admitted, sheepishly, rubbing his hand against the back of his head.

Jade's face softened and explained, "Well it was developed within the Victorian-era as a means of communication, by which various flowers and floral arrangements were used to send coded messages, allowing individuals to express feelings which otherwise could not be spoken." Jade looked towards a cheery Lienda. "Lienda and I are going to make your bouquet." Leigh beamed at the two and watched them debate about the flowers. They finally settled on purple and red tulips as the center pieces, with a combination of Bellflowers, Lilies of the valley, Fairy lilies, Honey Suckle, Primrose, and a Star of Bethlehem adjoining them. "Do you have a ribbon?" Jade looked towards Leigh.

Leigh shook his head, "I'm sorry I don't." He looked towards Lienda undoing her bright blue hair ribbon. "Lienda what are you doing?"

Lienda sympathetically smiled at him and proceeded to tie up the bouquet with her hair ribbon. "It's alright I have more, besides it brings out the beauty of flowers, and the blue color means 'sincerity'." Jade and Leigh couldn't help but smile at the selfless gesture. She looked at them, "I'll deliver these Rosalya, and Jade thank you for your help." She embraced Jade, who struggled to keep his composure. Lienda giggled and made her way inside with a prominent spring to her step.

Leigh looked towards Jade, "So you are crushing on Lienda." Jade refused to answer the elder raven and proceeded to work on the garden. Leigh smirked at his obvious pink tinted cheeks. Lysander has some competition.

.

.

"These are gorgeous," Rosalya gasped at the elegant bouquet. She carefully cradled the bouquet. "Forever, undying love, thinking of you, devoted affection, return my affection, I love you back, I will never forget you, and reconciliation."

"You know about floriography," Lienda eyes widen in amazement. Rosalya nodded and blushed.

"I'm surprised Leigh knows," Rosalya admitted, carefully tracing the purple tulips. "He remembered I love tulips and my favorite color is purple."

Lienda gently placed a hand on Rosalya's shoulder. "He really does care about you; he did consider your favorite colors and flowers into the bouquet and still managed to convey his feelings."

Rosalya lowered her eyelids, tightly gripping the bouquet, "I don't know what to do." She admitted, "Can I have some time to think?" Lienda nodded, supporting her decision, as she watched Rosalya make her back up the stairs.

Lienda sighed, "Now I can finally work on that letter to Ken." The pinkette proceeded to leave the building to go outside. As she sat down, a shadow blocked out her light. She then looked up to see Leigh watching over him, who then sat down next to her. "Ah yes, she loved the flowers, and loved the fact you know about floriography, you remembered her favorite flowers and colors, but still managed to convey your feelings." Leigh smiled at her summarization. "I don't know what she is currently thinking, but all we can do now is to wait for her decision Leigh. I will keep you posted."

"Thank you Lienda," Leigh beamed and embraced her, who shyly glanced at her hands. She felt the atmosphere getting awkward.

"I better head inside, I have to write down a thesis," Lienda lamely excused herself, and headed back inside. She heard scowling and noticed Castiel withdrawing books from his locker, "Penny for your thoughts? Is there something wrong?"

Castiel glared at her, "No everything is just peachy, pinkie."

Lienda sighed and bit the inside of her cheek to suppress a snarky retort. "You know it is better to talk about your problems, Castiel." She heard him snort.

"Fine, I broke my guitar strings," he slammed his locker shut. Silver irises bore into her green and blue hues, "You happy?"

"You can always buy new ones," Lienda carefully suggested.

Castiel slapped his forehead, "That's a brilliant idea, pinkie, why didn't I think of that?" Lienda felt an oncoming headache. "Too bad I don't have the money to buy new ones." Castiel glanced over to see Lienda sighing.

"I'll buy them for you," Lienda offered not meeting his gaze.

Castiel walked away, "You don't have to." He called out and made his way upstairs to his haven. Lienda shook her head and rolled her eyes.

She glanced around and noticed the clock ticking towards the end of the school day. Lienda retrieved her phone and made her way to a secluded corner. She quickly pressed the contact labelled as 'Missy.' She heard the dial tone ring a few times and heard the familiar click, "Missy," she whispered low enough for others to not hear but loud enough for her cousin to hear.

"Yes, my Cosette," Missy wheezed on the other line.

"Can you pick me up something?" Lienda requested, eyes darting out to the barren hallway.

"Aunt Flo came to visit or was it the Barbie knock off," Missy inquired, snickering at her tacky jokes.

"No," Lienda seethed at her blunt tone. "I need you to pick me up some guitar strings. I will pay back, it is for something important." Missy sighed in defeat, but smiled nonetheless.

"Fine, just wait for me outside of the school," Missy ordered. "I love you."

"Thank you and I love you too," Lienda beamed and closed her phone. She quickly got up and made her way to her locker. Lienda noticed Nathaniel's disinterested gaze at his clipboard. "Hello there, Nathaniel." He looked up and smiled. "Oh I never got to ask, but how are things between you and your sister."

She noticed his face took on an uncharacteristic scowl at the mere mention of his sister. "Terrible," he admitted. Nathaniel pinched the bridge of his nose, and dragged the palm of hand up his head and throughout his blond hair. "Amber is giving me all kinds of grief since she got suspended because of me."

Lienda gloomily looked away, but quickly averted her attention back on Nathaniel. "But you can't baby her for the rest of your life, and she got what she deserved."

Nathaniel lowered his gaze at the sympathizing, petite pinkette; her eyes reflecting sorrow and guilt for being partially responsible for this. "That might be true, but you have to admit she has a reason to be mad at me."

Lienda flashed him a soothing smile, "True, but you had a good reason to get her suspended. Stealing the exam key and attempting to hit me. She is lucky she wasn't outright expelled." Lienda's voice trailed off.

The Student body president smiled and sighed, "That doesn't matter. She doesn't think that way. Listen I have to get this paperwork in to Mrs. Evans, but it was great talking to you, Lienda." Nathaniel quickly excused himself and made his way towards Mrs. Evans' office.

Poor Nathaniel he seems really bothered by this whole Amber fiasco, and I'm kind of responsible for this. Lienda noted, her gaze never leaving his last known trail. Maybe I can brighten the situation on this, but what can I get him? Maybe Melody may have an idea, she concluded. She made her way to the student council room, and smiled when she saw the perky brunette reviewing documents.

"Hello Lienda," Melody greeted. The brunette noticed her preoccupied face, "Something wrong?"

"I'm fine," Lienda explained she sat down in one of the many empty chairs. "I'm just concerned about Nathaniel since he mentioned his sister is giving her all kinds of grief at home."

Melody frowned and placed the sheets of paper on the desk. "Poor Nathaniel he must feel alone."

"I can't help but feel, that I'm responsible for this," Lienda admitted and gave a guilty frown. Melody smiled assuring at the pinkette. "You wouldn't have any idea on how to cheer him up." She inquired.

Melody strummed her nails against the desk, pondering, "Well he likes cats did you know that?"

"Yeah but, I can't buy him a cat or give him my cat since he told him his mother is allergic," Lienda sighed she looked towards the brunette just chuckled at her generous yet silly answer.

She shook her head, "Obviously, but what I meant is give him something that looks like a cat." Lienda questioned her. The brunette further elaborated. "You know a stuffed animal."

"That sounds really cute," Lienda admitted. She glanced over towards the brunette. "I just hope Nathaniel is the type of hope who accepts that kind of gesture."

Melody smiled at her, and gently placed a hand on her shoulder, "I'm sure he would love it." Lienda hesitantly agreed and towards her phone clipped on her belt. Her eyes darted towards the brunette, requesting permission to text, Melody nodded.

Missy, can you also buy me a sewing kit and some fabric, please, Lienda texted. Her phone buzzed, Will do. The pinkette put up her phone; she smiled at the brunette, "Thank you Melody." Said brunette giggled and waved good bye before proceeding back to filing.

Lienda closed her phone and made her way towards her locker. Great I wasn't able to write my letter to Ken, I guess I will have to do that at home, but I have that paper to finish and I have to take Jace to the doctor. She removed her necessary books from her locker, while she continued to list her afterschool agenda; the bell rang signaling the end of the school day, and the entire hallways became flooded with students wanting to flee the premises; the pinkette carefully wading through the traffic, grinning as she made it outside.

She then waited for Missy's arrival, "Cosette." The pinkette looked up to see Missy carry a small bag of purchases. "Honestly I wasn't too sure what guitar strings to get but I got them both, and got your sewing kit." Lienda looked through the bag, smiling at the collected items and then grinned at her cousin. "You owe me at least a hundred, but pay me back later?" Missy curiously looked towards her younger cousin, "Is there anything I can help you with?"

"Do you know how to make a stuffed cat," Lienda asked. Missy smirked as she sat down next to her.

"Well you need to design the pattern first," the Italian instructed. Lienda watched in interest as Missy drew out the pattern of a cat. "Next you cut it out and start sewing out the body." Her eyes never left watching in awe, as the cloths began to take in the shape of a cat. Lienda helped with stitching in the cat's blue and green button eyes, and properly filling in the stuffing. "There kitty is ready." Missy handed over the stuffed cat to the pinkette

"It's so cute," Lienda admired. The stitching wasn't as visible, since Missy was an above average seamstress.

"Is it for a boy," Missy questioned. She giggled at Lienda's flustered face. Busted she smirked. "Is it for that spicy red head rocker, that aloof silver head Victorian, or is it for the nerdy blond president?"

Lienda rubbed her temples annoyed at her cousins labelling, "It is a gift," she admitted. "But I'm not telling who the gift is for."

"I'm assuming the Butterfly guitar strings is for a guy, too," Missy concluded. The pinkette ignored her cousin, and made her way back inside. "I'll find out who is it eventually." Lienda felt her face heat up, and made her way to the student council room. She smiled when she noticed Nathaniel riffling through some manila folders, she gently rapt the door.

He looked up and smiled, "Afternoon Lienda." The pinkette smiled and delicately closed the door behind her to avoid making a loud noise.

Lienda carefully considered her words. "You don't seem very happy at the moment, so I made this for you," she exhibited the stuffed cat, "I know it's only a stuffed animal and I wanted you to have it, so I made this for you." Her face became washed with a light red hue, when she realized she was rambling. She refused to meet his gaze as she handed him the stuffed cat.

Their fingers momentarily brushed against each other, further saturating the blush. "A cat it's cute, since I can't have a real one. Thank you so much, Lienda." She heard him say.

"Well you seemed to be down," Lienda muttered. Her eyes hesitantly focused on his beaming face.

"You noticed," he admitted as he carefully traced the cat's heterochromia eyes mirroring the pinkette's own eyes. Nathaniel gazed into her nervous eyes. "I'm sorry I worried you, Lienda, I'll be better now. Thanks for the cat."

She grinned, "You are welcome, Nathaniel." The pinkette then left him to his assignment, smiling at the fact she made Nathaniel smiled. "Now for Castiel," Lienda grinned when she noticed said red head making his way up the stairs. "Castiel," Castiel turned around.

"Lienda," he smirked. He noticed she was fishing out from her jeans pocket, a small package.

"I hope these were the right ones," Lienda admitted handing him the packet of guitar strings. Castiel couldn't help but smile at her kind gesture, and gave a rare blush.

"Wow you even got the right ones, Butterfly quality," Castiel admired. He playfully ruffled her hair; Lienda puffed her cheeks and glared at him. The red head just chuckled at her cute pout. "You aren't so dumb after all."

"You are welcome, Crowe," Lienda rolled her eyes at his comment. She noticed him playfully smirking at her obvious annoyance. Castiel glanced over the bashful pinkette, who sometimes avoided his gaze and he noticed her face became flustered whenever his eyes continued to stare at her

"Lienda," Lienda looked around to see Rosalya lightly panting. "I have decided to give Leigh a second chance, but I lost the ring he gave him." Castiel decided to leave the two females alone.

Blue and green irises widen at the revelation. "He gave you a ring?"

Rosalya frowned at her surprised tone, "Yes but that is beside the point, I lost it somewhere in the school, and I don't want to see him unless I find the ring.

Lienda couldn't help but frown at Rosalya's impossible request, "I'll help you find you it." Rosalya beamed. "But I have to know where was the last place you had it."

Rosalya sighed and gripped her arm tightly, "But that is just it Lienda, I don't know." The platinum haired girl noticed Lienda's face taking on a bluish tint. "I'm sorry."

She shook her head, the hue vanishing immediately. "It is fine love." The pinkette smiled at the platinum beauty. "We'll find it." She quickly excused herself. Okay now starts mission impossible to find Rosalya's ring.

"Hey there Cosette," Missy greeted, cigarette hanging from her mouth; Lienda cringed at her cousin's vice. "Relax it's an E-Cigarette," she explained holding out the cigarette. "And this," she pointed to the smoke surrounding her, "is nothing more than water vapor." The pinkette still frowned at her habit, which Missy threw her a gaze. "Hey where is the lost and found for the school?"

"The student council room," Lienda answered leaving the prior matter alone. She bewilderedly looked at her cousin. "Why?" Missy held out her hand, she noticed a platinum and gold band with sapphire stones. "Where did you find this?" Missy's cigarette pointed to near a small patch near the benches.

"I wanted to take a nap, but I found something sparkling, and low and behold, I found this beauty, although it's too small for my fingers," Missy explained. She felt Lienda embracing her.

"Thank you so much, you are a life saver," Lienda squealed in delight, hugging her cousin tighter.

"You are welcome," Missy replied, grinning at her embrace. She witnessed her cousin running back inside. A snicker escaped her lips at her peculiar antics.

Lienda managed to find Rosalya and handed her missing ring. "Where did you find it," The platinum haired girl questioned, carefully inspecting her ring.

"Outside, near the benches," Lienda replied. Rosalya hugged her. She then placed the ring on her right ring finger.

"This is a promise ring, Leigh got me," Rosalya explained. Lienda smiled at the girl. Her face twinkled mischievously. "I want you to have this." Rosalya handed her an envelope, and giggled at the confused pinkette's face. "There are pictures inside." The pinkette carefully opened the envelope and withdrew three pictures, she blushed at the pictures of the three most sought after males: Castiel, Nathaniel, and Lysander. She dazedly looked towards Rosalya for an explanation. "Originally I took photographs of the hottest guys at school and sold them to girls for money, but I changed after I met Leigh Ainsworth." She giggled and blushed recalling her earlier habits, brushing back a stray strand of hair. "I want you to have them; they are my last copies of them." Rosalya excused herself and made her way outside, to speak with what she could assume was Leigh.

Lienda shyly looked at their photographs. Lysander looks completely different on stage; I wonder what he sounds like. Nathaniel he fell asleep studying, he pushes himself so hard for his grades, and he needs to relax every now and then. Castiel he is very handsome with dark hair and was better dressed, too. And he's smiling too; he appears to be texting to someone, but to whom? A quaint smiled graced her lips admiring the photographs.

"Cosette," exclaimed a voice. The pinkette was ejected out of her musings, and glanced up to see her cousin walking up to her. She quickly placed the photos back into the envelope and hid it within her bag. "Come one we have to pick up Jace." Lienda nodded and withdrew helmet from her locker and followed her cousin out to the parking lot. This school has a lot of mysteries.

ZorraVixen: Yes I know I suck, I haven't updated in over two years and I apologize school and work can keep people occupied not only that losing some motivation is another contributing factor. I haven't given up on this fanfiction, and I plan to see it through unlike previous works, where I just abandoned the story and ultimately the fandom all together. I will update albeit not as much as I use to, so please leave a review!
