A/N Hi guys, I'm back and ready to get back to work. Sorry for the wait but I got off track as of recent and I'm going to do my best to NOT do that again. I'm now settled down and ready to make these chapters again. I know there are people out there who reads the author's notes and to those guys, thank you, you made these not pointless... most of the time. P.S. I feel that this chapter is actually shorter than what I wrote on paper... I'll be annoyed if that's the case. Enough talk, story time.
After Mike and I explained the details of everything that has happened in the last 24 hours to Foxy, he sat there with a shocked expression on his face.
"I can't believe Chica acted like that," Foxy said.
"She was really torn up about you," I stated.
"I know... (sigh)," Foxy said. I sat there and thought of a way to get Foxy back to see his friends, and came to a conclusion that I needed to tweak the plans a bit. I needed to include Foxy into them.
"Hey Foxy," I said, getting his attention.
"What is it lad?" he asked.
"How about you contribute to the plan?" I asked.
"What, how?" Mike asked.
"We could have Foxy give Robert a definitive scare that really ends this mess," I explained.
"Um, who's Robert?" Foxy asked. I guess we left that out.
"Um, well Robert is the guy who did... this," Mike told him.
"Oh, well I would like to see him under better circumstances... for me that is," Foxy replied.
"But that would be putting Foxy at risk," Mike pointed.
"Yeah I know that but if Foxy can move around on his own then he could defend himself. But if things were to go south, I plan on improvising," I said.
"Really, improvising, that's the best you could come up with?" he contradicted.
"I don't see you making a plan. So Foxy, you in?"
"Aye," Foxy replied.
"Alright then, all that's left is to execute the plan," I stated.
"I'm not going to lie, I'm a bit skeptical here," Mike pointed out.
"Don't be such a worry wart," I teased.
"Well someone has to be," he laughed.
"Well whatever floats your boat. Anyways we should do something to pass the time... such as buy me new attire," I suggested.
"You know you get paid this weekend right?" Mike asked.
"That doesn't change the fact that I need a change a of clothes," I pointed out.
"Fair enough," he said in defeat.
"Ye leaving me here? Foxy asked.
"Well it's not like you can walk around in public," I stated.
"Aye, that's true," he said.
"Look we won't be long," I told him reassuringly.
"I know, ye go do your errands," Foxy said as he sat on the couch. That sucks, not even on for a day and he is being left alone in an unfamiliar place. It's not like we'll be gone a long time, what's the worst that could happen... on second thought, it's probably best to not think of such a question. Mike went to the counter and grabbed the keys then headed towards the door.
"You coming?" Mike asked hesitantly.
"Yeah," I replied. I followed Mike to the door then looked back at Foxy.
"Bye Foxy, we'll be back soon," I told him.
"I know ye will," Foxy replied as he waved. I waved back and shut the door. I met up with Mike and we began to walk down the stairs.
"So we get you some clothes then a bite to eat?" Mike asked.
"Sounds good to me," I agreed. Might as well try to enjoy today before god knows what happens tomorrow. Hopefully it won't be as drastic as I picture it but we won't know until it happens.
Sometime later Foxy's P.O.V.
I walked around Mike's apartment so I could familiarize myself with it. It's small but cozy... and awfully boring too.
"How can Mike stand such a place?" I asked myself as I sat on the couch. There wasn't really any activities that a one armed, pirate fox animatronic could do here so I guess that's an excuse. As I sat there thinking about things, a surprise knocking occurred from the door
"(Knock knock)... Hello, anyone home? It's the NYPD. We are wondering if you have any information on the whereabouts of Nathan Lawrence," a voice spoke. NYPD... what did those kids call it... New York Pizza Department? That doesn't sound right. Damn kids... confusing me, but that's to be expected since I entertain them everyday... excluding the past year. Well whoever it was, I needed to be perfectly silent so they didn't know that I was here because ye know, my appearance and what not.
"This is police, you must open up," the man said with more emphasis.
"Oh, the "P" stands for "Police", that makes more sens- wait what?" I thought. Why is the police looking for Nathan... right... he's an orphan... who went "missing" recently.
"I guess no one's home," someone else said.
"That's a possibility," the first guy agreed.
"Donuts?"
"Yesz!" I then heard footsteps walk away from the door and a bit of conversation. It then faded. I waited a few more minutes just to be safe... seems like the coast is clear.
"(Sigh)... That's not good. It's probably best not to worry about it now though," I told myself. I'll just sit here and relax for a bit which shouldn't be hard considering how boring this place is but what are ye going to do?
Around the same time Nathan's P.O.V.
"So that's enough shopping for now. Let's get a bite to eat," Mike suggested.
"Alright," I said as we walked out the store, bags at hand. I didn't get anything too flashy or however that goes, I don't care about that. I did however get a black shirt that had a fox, a chicken, a bear, and a bunny on it. I got it due to the convenience. The rest were just the essentials.
"You think you have enough clothes?" Mike asked jokingly.
"Cmon, I didn't get that much."
"That's why I asked."
"Oh... yeah this should be good," I stated.
"Ok then."
"It's like you want to spend money on me," I chuckled.
"I'm just making sure you have everything you need," he pointed out.
"Yeah "need," not "want"."
"That's what I said."
"(Sigh)."
At the apartment
We were heading up the stairs to Mike's apartment, followed by an awkward silence, so I thought that we could make small talk on a subject that was on my mind since last night before we found Foxy the way he was.
"Hey Mike," I called.
"What's up?"
"Last night when we first arrived at the pizzeria, I was about to greet the others but you stopped me. Why?" I asked as he sipped through the straw of his soda.
"Um well, Mr. Fazbear doesn't know that they're alive," Mike responded nonchalantly.
"The boss of the joint doesn't know they're alive?" I said in disbelief.
"Yep."
"How is that possible? I mean he is there everyday."
"He also never was attacked by them," Mike pointed out.
"That's true... but he's bound to check the security footage at some point," I stated.
"Not if he trusts me entirely."
"That's messed up," I chuckled as I took a sip from my soda.
"What, I'm pretty trustworthy."
"Yeah, but that is a very big secret to keep," I added.
"And I intend to keep it."
"I might as well then," I concluded. We then finally got to the top of the stairs then walked to the apartment door. Walking up and down those stairs is such a chore, I mean I'm not out of shape but still. As I waited, Mike was unlocking the door and whatnot, he then opened it and walked in with me following. I shut the door behind.
"Hi lads," Foxy greeted.
"Hi Foxy. How was the stay at home?" Mike asked as he placed the bags by the couch and I did the same. We had like three bags of clothes as a precautionary measure. Actually I think Mike got him some clothes too.
"It was boring," Foxy sighed.
"It couldn't have been that boring," Mike said.
"Well you are use to it," I added.
"True," Mike agreed as he took a seat by Foxy on the couch.
"Well I'm going to take a well needed shower," I told as grabbed some clothes out of the bags.
"Alright," Mike answered. I then walked towards the bathroom so I could take that shower.
Foxy's P.O.V.
I waited until Nathan was out of hearing range so I could tell Mike about earlier. I heard the shut and waited a bit more.
"Mike, we have problem," I called.
"Of course we do," Mike said agitatedly, "(Sigh) What is it?"
"The police stopped by earlier, and they were looking for Nathan," I whispered.
"What?!" Mike exclaimed but not too loud because I think he didn't want Nathan to hear.
"They didn't hear or see you did they?" Mike asked.
"No... they thought ye guys were out so they left."
"Good...(sigh)," he said as he rubbed his forehead.
"So what are we going to do?" I asked.
"We will stay on the task at hand and not worry about this," Mike said.
"And if something happens?"
"I'm not going turn my back on Nathan... I made a promise that I intend to keep," after Mike said that I chuckled.
"What's so funny?" Mike asked.
"Nothing really... it's nice to see that ye still stick your neck out of others, that's all."
"Well you guys are my friends so of course I'm going to help," Mike smiled.
"But we weren't friends then, we tried to kill you."
"I guess you can say that I did what I did out of personal gain."
"What do ye mean?" I asked.
"Well if I was going to work there, I prefer it to be under better conditions..." he stated.
"Oh."
"Plus it was lonely though I honestly didn't expect the outcome I received... despite the whole "mind of your own" thing."
"Well I guess it was beneficial on your end," I added.
"You guessed correctly... well I'm going to bed," Mike said as he got up and stretched. He then walked off to his room to never be heard from again... until tonight.
Nathan's P.O.V.
I was standing in front of the mirror in the bathroom with a towel wrapped around my waist. The cuts and bruises from the other day were beginning to fade but were still noticeable. As for the hole in my arm... it was doing better, it was closing up but there's still a small amount pain coming from it. I decided to keep covered though.
"Heh, to thinks the troubles are almost over," I said to myself with a chuckle, "(Sigh)... That may be true but there is still work to do." (Hey that rhymed XD)
Few minutes later
I walked out of the bathroom wearing the shirt with the animals on it and blue jeans. I walked into the living room and noticed that only Foxy was there sitting on the couch.
"Hi Foxy, where's Mike?" I asked.
"Oh the lad went to bed," he replied.
"Oh ok, I guess I might as well too. You wouldn't mind moving would you?"
"No not at all," Foxy said as he got off the couch then sat at the table.
"Thanks, (yawn)," I stretched then lied down on the comfort that was the couch. For some reason I enjoy sleeping on couches more than beds... I dunno. Off to snooze ville for me... I'm never saying that again.
11:00 pm inside a dream
...There's laughter... children's laughter... did Mike bring kids over... no... no, this is a dream, I'm sure of it. Maybe if I open my eyes and get a visual of my surroundings. I slowly opened my eyelids that were, for some reason, heavy. Guess I was a bit exhausted. When I finally got them open, the place I was in was familiar... but at the same time it was... different. It was more cheery. Was this place truly Freddy Fazbear's Pizza? As I turned to get a better view of everything, I noticed that the kids were my height. I was confused. I looked at my body and saw that I was wearing the same shirt from earlier but smaller. I was wearing red shorts and red sneakers too. My legs were and feet were smaller as well. I looked at my hands and they looked like the hands of a child... am... I a kid? What the hell is going on?
"H-H-Hey all of you pirate fans, head on down to- on down to- down to- down to Pirates Cove because the show is about to sta-ta-tart. It's our good pal Foxy," Freddy said to all of the kids. This was pretty similar to when I first came here except he wasn't at all glitchy... and it seems that no one minds it either.
"Foxy," Freddy called out, "I know he's around here somewhere." Well it's good to see that the glitchyness is gone.
"I th-th-th-think we need to call him out," god dammit, "Foxyyy!" Still nothing, guess that's part of the show, I'm not gonna lie, I didn't really pay all that much attention before despite the fact that I liked it regardless.
"Last time kids nice and lou-u-u-ud ha ha so we could get him out here. Foxy!"
"Year me mateys it's me Foxy and welcome-welcome-welcome to the Pirates Cove," Foxy greeted as he ran through the curtains... and I'm under the impression that all the animatronics were glitchy.
"Freddy best be getting back to the stage or I'll be for-or-orced to-gut the pig-make him walk the plank."
...Please don't tell me that I was the only one who noticed that. A glitch is one thing but whatever that was isn't something you can just shrug off. Freddy then started laughing somewhat glitchfully... I guess that is part of the show too, minus the glitch of course.
"Now kids you enjoy the show and let's-kill-kill-kill-kill them-keep ourselves safe when exploring Pirates C-C-Cove." Ok, there is no way in hell nobody noticed that. This dream is slowly, but surely, turning into a nightmare. Foxy then started to do his pirate laugh, but alas it was glitch filled as well.
"Ye best be getting back to the sta-a-age landlubber cause these little ones are now part of the Pirate's cre-e-ew," Foxy stated. Well it's getting better... I guess.
"When in the Pirate Cove, remember to adventure safe kiddies, and no-o-o-o running around the cove or ye be-lost forever-be-e-e walkn' the plank," Foxy ordered... and there goes another jinx... (sigh).
"Now who would to be me first ma-a-a-ate?" Foxy asked as all the kids hands shot up in the air with a torrent of "me's" and "I do's" filled the area.
"How about you la-a-ad, the one in the shirt with the animals?" Foxy pointed. It looked as if he was pointing in my direction but just to be sure (and safe) I checked to see if there were any possibilities... and UNfortunately, he was addressing me.
"Don't be shy lad," he said reassuringly. I mustered up my courage then walked through the crowd of kids and as I did, I heard them mumble negative things.
"Why does he get picked?"
"He wasn't even raising his hand."
"That's not fair." As I heard all of this I laughed to myself.
"To think that some point in time I was like that," I thought. I was just now coming up to Foxy and it was like all the fear from earlier vanished.
"What's your name lad?" Foxy asked. I guess the gli-... I'm not jinxing it.
"Um, Nathan," I answered nervously.
"Well Nathan welcome aboard. Are ye ready to-die-go on an adventure?" Foxy asked as all my fear came back.
"I-I g-guess," I stuttered. I have never been so scared in my life, I mean my legs were shaking uncontrollably.
"What's wrong, are you scared?" Foxy asked as a crooked smile formed on his face and his eyes turned all black with white pupils.
"A little b-bit," I replied as I backed away. I turned to the kids who were watching and they all had crooked smiles too... things escalated unbelievably quick if I say so myself.
"Well don't be, I always ensure the safety of me. first. MATE!" Foxy said as he stepped closer to me then lunged with a menacing screech. (A/N The FNaF 2 jump scare)
I was too scared to even react. All I really did was try to block... but then again, I don't think that would help much. My heart was racing uncontrollably, I just wish this nightmare would. I closed my eyes and braced myself.
Dream ends
"Nathan, cmon lad wake up. Ye having a nightmare," I heard a familiar voice say to me followed by a few shrugs.
"Ah!" I shot up and saw that I was in the apartment and that Foxy was standing over me. I turned on the couch and sat my feet on the ground and my head in my hands then sighed deeply, "(Sigh.)"
"It's ok lad, just a nightmare nothing to it," Foxy comforted as he sat on the couch by me then patted my back.
"Thanks," I smiled, "I wish I could stop waking up to nightmares."
"What do ye mean?" Foxy asked.
"Nothing, just thinking out loud."
"Alright then. Ye want to talk about?" Foxy asked and honestly I do but I don't want to worry with the... topic.
"Not now, maybe later," I answer.
"Ok, take as much time as you need," Foxy told as he got up. Gee, everyone I met so far is surprisingly comforting, really helps the troubles.
"I'll keep that in mind. Anyways what time is it?" I asked as glanced over at the clock. The clock read 11:07.
"Well I should get Mike up," I said as I got up and stretched. I then headed to Mike's room so I could get him up.
11:50 pm
After I woke Mike up, he went to go get ready while Foxy and I chatted with each other over random topics, just a friendly conversation.
"Alright then, you two ready?" Mike asked as he walked from his room.
"Yeah I guess," I replied as I got off the couch. I'm not gonna lie, I don't feel like carrying Foxy down those stairs.
"So ye guys are going to shut me off?" Foxy asked.
"Actually I have better idea," Mike said as he brought out a pair of sweatpants and a hoodie
"Um, care to elaborate?" I asked jokingly.
"It's Foxy's disguise, he's going to walk with us," Mike explained.
"Well I'm glad someone planned ahead," I teased.
"Someone has to. Cmon Foxy, try it on," Mike said as he handed the clothes to Foxy. We watched Foxy try on the disguise and it surprisingly fit.
"Perfect," Mike complimented.
"I don't like it," Foxy groaned as he walked to the door.
"You're not suppose to, and stick your tail in the pants and put the hood up too," Mike ordered.
"Yeah yeah yeah," Foxy said out of his pirate accent... did he not like it that much? Funny. As Foxy and Mike walked out the door, I went to the counter to grap Foxy's hook and arm. I then walked out the door and shut it.
"Good call," Mike said.
"Thanks," I replied. The three of us then walked down the stairs.
At the pizzeria
We pulled up in the parking lotand saw that Mr. Fazbear was waiting at the entrance.
"Alright Foxy, lie down and wait for us to come get you," Mike ordered.
"Aye," Foxy did as told and his in the back seat. Me and Mike then got out the car and walked over to Mr. Fazbear so we could greet him.
"Ah Nathan, Michael, good to see you two," Mr. Fazbear greeted.
"Good to see you too," I said back with a smile.
"Well Nathan, tomorrow the pizzeria will be closed that doesn't mean you're off," Mr. Fazbear told me.
"Well it's only six hours of doing nothing basically," I chuckled.
"That's the positive attitude I was looking for. Well anyways I'll leave you boys to it. Goodnight," Mr. Fazbear laughed as he walked off to his car.
"See you later boss," Mike waved. All I did was wave too. We waited for him to be completely out of sight so we could get Foxy... and we're good.
"I'll get the others, you go get Foxy," Mike ordered.
"Since when did you decide to be in charge?" I asked jokingly.
"Just go do it," he laughed as he walked inside. I did as told and jogged to the car so I could get Foxy. I knocked on the window to let him know. He sat up and looked at me for a few seconds then ditched the clothes quickly.
"No need to rush," I said to myself. I backed away from the car door so Foxy could get out. He stepped out of the car and shut the door behind him then stretched.
"You seem awfully excited," I said.
"Why wouldn't I be," Foxy said back.
"Him, good point," the both of us then walked to the pizzeria entrance and we were about to walk through the door but Foxy hesitated.
"Foxy, you okay?" I asked concerningly.
"(Sigh)... No, just thinking that's all," Foxy replied. I bet he does have a bunch of thoughts in his head right now. Nothing a little reunion can handle.
A/N Oh my god it's finally finished. So much crap was interfering with this and I finished it. Thank you guys for your patience and for all the support. A lot of people took their time to read this and that excites me. Check out the recent teaser I made that will depend on what you guys want. I will go into more detail about it later but for now, I hoped you enjoyed this chapter. Bye guys.
