Universe(s): Katekyo Hitman Reborn! and Fullmetal Alchemist/Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood.
Summary:
They were never just themselves; they always remembered their first life. They knew that they weren't who they seemed. And really, considering who they were, it was only expected that they would find each other again. The only question was, where was their Father?
Warnings: Reincarnated!Tsuna-and-Guardians
Envy
He had always known he wasn't his father's 'little tuna-fish'. He had even known that his so-called 'father' wasn't his father. At least, not his true Father.
He had gone through life pulling his vicious pranks on the small town of Namimori, only meeting one of his siblings for the first time at Namimori Elementary. Or, rather, meeting three. They hadn't communicated vocally very often, but they always made sure to keep things interesting…
After all, what kind of Homunculi would they be if they didn't enjoy chaos?
Looking at the seven people gathered together in front of him, Tsunayoshi Sawada—or Envy, as he preferred to be called—felt a very dangerous smirk flow across his face.
"Let's go show this f-ing idiot just why you don't mess with the Seven Deadly Sins, ne?"
Wrath
He had never been particularly close to his Father, but Good Lord, this 'fake-father' of his was annoying, not even telling him that his piano instructor was his mother…making him a bastard-child. He, while he had always been inclined towards physical violence, had never wanted to kill someone as much as he had in that moment. Except maybe that Fullmetal brat…
He had run away after that, taking to the streets as he fled his childhood home and left his older half-sister behind. Eventually he found Trident Shamal and convinced him to tutor him, just so that he at least he had a guardian, not matter how annoying or perverted. As the years passed, he grew more and more skilled with using dynamite, a skill he hadn't really needed to use in Amestris. He had a life of relative peace—discounting the chaos he caused for his own amusement—until, one day, the Sun Arcobaleno Reborn called him up and demanded that he came to Namimori, Japan. Seeing as he had been feeling a tug towards there for years, the fiery tempered bomber agreed.
He, Hayato Gokudera—or Wrath, as he preferred—never expected to meet Envy there in the form of the future Vongola Decimo.
Nor did he expect to meet his (former) son, Pride, and two other (former) siblings, Sloth and Lust. It was decided before the matter even came up. Wrath was staying…even if he had to be Envy's Storm Guardian. Besides, it was great fun messing with the Sun Arcobaleno. Before long, all eight of them (Greed having split into two people) were back together again, causing chaos.
Truth did enjoy his irony, didn't he?
Sloth
He had always been rather lazy, even by his father's standards. But it really didn't matter to him. All that really mattered to him was finding his family again; no matter how long he had to wait. After all, they attracted each other. They were the Seven Deadly Sins after all.
So he waited, taking up baseball as a hobby to occupy him while he did so. He didn't care that he was essentially alone; he had already found three of his siblings. He only waited for the other three to show eventually.
After all, he, Takeshi Yamamoto—or Sloth, as he much preferred—knew how to wait. He could always sleep while doing so.
Pride
He had always been separate from other children his age; his taciturn nature and enjoyment of chaos chasing them away. He didn't mind—they were below him anyway, weak herbivores that they were. It wasn't until he met Lust during his first year of Elementary School that he realized that he wasn't the only one that had been reincarnated.
Why they still had their memories, he didn't know. However, if it brought him back to his family—despite them being below him, his inferiors—he was willing to ignore it. Besides it caused more chaos among the lowly humans; it was always amusing watching such weak herbivores scattering and hiding as he made his presence known.
He hadn't known just how much Truth was gaining amusement from their new lives until he found out that Envy was next Don of the Vongola Famiglia—a mafia family.
Kyouya Hibari—though he much preferred the name of Pride, thank you very much—smirked as he thought of his position, running a slim finger over the half-ring in his hand. Being the cloud to Envy's sky suited him quite well, though he would never admit it. After all, they were being brought together, albeit slowly. There was only one question on his mind:
Where was their Father?
Gluttony
He had never been much for family stuff, and his new parents had realized it early on. His one and only important figure in his life was Lust-sama. He knew, despite his tiny body, that they would find each other again; it was simply a matter of time. After all, he had seen such things in the future when he had used the Ten-Year Bazooka to go after Reborn-baka.
He, Lambo Bovino—or Guttony—merely attributed it to Truth that he met his true family before he turned ten years old. If it brought him closer to his beloved Lust-sama, who was he to complain?
Greed
They both knew they had once been one, singular person. That was why she had no problem letting him borrow her body from time to time—so long as he let her do the same with his body.
She hated her incarnation's mother, stealing her money from her wallet and hiding her things to prevent her from doing anything.
He hated his family, hating them for the experimentation they put him through. It did bring him two lackeys who—dare he say it?—became somewhat closer to being friends than anything.
They only met after she was caught in a car accident and nearly killed; they ignored that fact and moved on with their lives together as they planned to bring down the mafia world by its ears.
It was only by coincidence, or perhaps Truth's meddling, that they, Mukuro Rokudo and Chrome Dokuro—collectively known as Greed—met the rest of their small family of Seven, discounting their Father. At least they had more partners in their chaos…
Lust
Many would say that being the Sin of Lust didn't fit him. He disagreed.
He was beautiful and in perfect shape; they simply didn't recognize it or they were chased away by his act to keep such pitiful humans away from himself. After all, beauty was beauty whether such pitiful creatures acknowledged it or not.
It wasn't until he met the taciturn Pride that he realized he wasn't alone; promptly, he began to search for the others. Discreetly, of course.
He smiled from his place at their table, joining in vibrantly as he cheered everyone up. After all, he was the older sister/brother figure of their family in their past life, and it had continued to be so in this life; what kind of older sister/brother would he be if he couldn't cheer up his younger siblings?
He would never admit it, but he had missed his little siblings, and had longed to be in their presence once again.
But he still had just one question:
If they were here, where was their Father?
He, Ryohei Sasagawa—or Lust, as he preferred to be called—didn't know. But if they were here, then their Father was somewhere on the planet; he just knew Truth would have sent him along with them.
He was their Father, after all.
/End.\
Yup. This plotbunny just would not leave. Me. Alone! I started to read Pride!Ed fics and as I was also working with some ideas for Seer of the Varia…well…you can see the result above. I fit the Sins with who I felt fit them best, but if you have a different opinion I'd enjoy hearing it seeing as I had a rather hard time deciding who I wanted Ryohei to be. After all, none of them other than Gluttony and Lust fit him even remotely! And since I already had Gluttony for Lambo…ehehe…
Anyway, please R&R!
Ja ne, Minna-san!
