Chapter 11

There was a mass of Jaffa surrounding us, it looked as though the whole village was here to help their "God" weapons in hand and murderous looks in their eyes they started to slowly close the gap and encircle us completely. Fear took over my entire body, when Ba'al came to take us all back to his prison I know I would get the worst of it and it scared the hell out of me.

As if I conjured him just by thinking of his ugly face, Ba'al immerged from the crowd with a massive disgusting smirk on his face, and it made me feel sick. I could hear Jack by the side of me moan at the sight of him as though he was fed up of seeing him and he would be within a few days of being here, I know I did.

"Ah I see your team has finally arrived." Ba'al said eying each and every member, his eyes finally lying on Orlen and Morgan, "it's going to be such a disappointment to kill you two, you followed orders so well.' Neither replied to what he said as they knew there wouldn't be a chance in hell that he could kill them

"Look, why don't we all go home and just call this a day huh?" Jack answered humour in his voice though his eyes were steady and weary, the eyes of an old man who have seen too many horrible things. Ba'al just laughed in response, anger started to boil inside of me as I gripped the knife harder and harder just looking at his face made me want to kill him in the worst ways possible.

"You see O'Neill, Samantha here can't leave, if she does I will kill her." His stupid smile on his stupid face got bigger and bigger as he saw everyone's faces drop. "A few months after Samantha got here she decided she was going to kill herself but sadly failed when she didn't jump far enough." To this everyone just stared at me as if they couldn't believe I would even consider killing myself. Jack stare was the worst, his face showed betrayal and hurt that I would try to kill myself instead of waiting for him to come to my rescue.

"Yeahh well you took too long" I replied to them while staring at Ba'al, it hurt saying it to them but it was the truth.

"Yes well" Ba'al interrupted "After she done that I thought it would be best to make sure she wouldn't do it again by implanting this clever device into her." He said still smiling while pulling a small black controller out of his pocket, it was quite a simple device, it had only one button on it which I assumed was the on and off button but to what I did not know. "You see this device controls the one I put inside of Samantha, if I push this button then a massive amount of pain will spread throughout her entire body, its apparently worse than any torture even the worst Gould can give to a Sholva. And that was when I remembered this device, he tested it out as soon as I was resurrected from when I attempted to kill myself and he was telling the truth, it was worse than any torture I have ever been through.

"Shall I show you?" he asked with an evil grin on his face and within seconds his thumb was pressing down on the button.

Pain spread through me as soon as he pressed the button, at first it was a slow burn stretched out from my stomach burning every inch of my body in an out and when it reached every part of my body the pain started, it was like pins and needles at first but the pain grew and grew until it felt like I was being stabbed over and over again with a knife covered in acid, there was a scream in my ears as drops of blood started dripping out. I hunched as the pain became too much, but I couldn't hear my screams over the ones in my head. I felt as though my internal organs were turning to acidic liquid and spreading through my entire body. I felt Daniel and Orlen at my side shouting at Ba'al for him to stop, to leave me in peace. And then there was a gunshot, Jacks. He had shot the Jaffa next to Ba'al "The next one will be in your head" he said as steady as a rock. What was he doing, he was going to get killed... for me.

Weapons were raised all around us, aimed at our most vulnerable parts although it didn't matter with the amount of weapons pointed at us, we were dead anyway. But the pain still hadn't stopped so I would have rather death over this any day, and that's what I had thought had happened when a bright light blinded me and the pain had stopped, but then everything just went black and silent, the pain, no sound, no anything. This may have been death but it was better than where I just was.

"A voice awoke me from my peaceful rest, it was Jacks telling me to wake up but if I woke up didn't that mean I had to feel the pain again? I didn't want to feel that again so I just wanted to say asleep. But Jack had different plans, he literally shook me awake shouting my name.

"What?!" I shouted back at him, annoyed that he woke me up from my painless sleep.

"Open your eyes Carter" he ordered, As I opened my eyes I saw a Jacks face, smiling that beautiful smile that could make me do anything he wanted. His wonderfully bright brown eyes that automatically reminded me of melted chocolate. "Look where you are" he whispered in a sweet hypnotic voice, as I looked around I saw a lot of advanced technology so we defiantly were not on Ba'al's planet anymore.

"Where are we?" I asked still groggy from my sleep, as I sat up I could see more of the room I was in, it was familiar but distant.

"The asgard came Carter, we're going home" he smiled his big goofy smile, my favourite.

"The asgard? How did they know where we were?" I asked confused as to why they would help us. "What about the device?"

"We called them before we came to find you, they said they would come if they could spare a ship and apparently they could" he smiled, breathing a sigh of relief which I felt he had been holding since he had gotten to the planet. "And the device is gone, the Asgard removed it while you were unconscious." The happier he got, the closer he got and the stronger his intoxicating smell got, I almost leaned in for more.

"So we're going home?" I asked a smile playing on my lips.

"We're going home Sam" Jack smiled.
