Chapter 12:

"How much longer!" Jace whined.

"Were nearly at the entrance Jace, calm down… Wait… I see it, up ahead." Issabelle said.

"Im the one who sould be complaining." Said Magnus. "I ruined a perfectly good outfit for this… and don't even get me starting on the glitter and the smell, my Gosh the smell."

The whole group moved a little quicker now at this point, all complaining though about the smell and the fact that they were dirty and wet. Jace though, a little too eager to see the Seelie Queen was pushing ahead of everyone. Alec right behind him grabbed his arm and whispered to him.

"Jace, ease up a little," Alec said "The Seelie Queen is ruthless and cunning and if she sense your desperation she could take advantage."

Jace was too hard headed but even he could see Alec's point. He gave him a subtle nod and then continued until they reached the entrance. Merlin was there waiting for them and let each of them in one by one. Once again they were treated with the experience of the glamour, with fey all around them as beautiful as ever dancing and trying to allure each of them to join. They had to wait a little while before they were able to see the Seelie Queen but all to soon she was ready for them. Only 3 were allowed to see her though. Everything one thought Magnus, Jace and Alec should be the ones to see her.

"Psst Magnus," Jace said. Magnus walked a little slower so that he was close to Jace. "Don't eat or drink anything ok, otherwise you'll be trapped here."

Magnus returned the favour with a grateful nod and continued walking until all three were all standing before the Queen.

"Jace, so lovely to see you again, what brings you and your friends here today, is there something that I could help you with." The Seelier Queen said putting on her biggest smile.

"You too and may I say you get more beautiful every time. I don't even think that's possible." Jace flashed his signature smirk that would make a mundane faint at his feet.

"We have recently run in to some trouble and with the corruption lately in the clave we are very sceptical when it comes to who we can trust lately. You on the other hand are very good at keeping secrets and I feel that we can benefit each other."

"Oh, and how is that?" the Queen replied.

"Well it's never a bad thing to have a favour from a shadow hunter, you never know when that can come in handy." Jace replied smoothly, flashing his smile once again as the Queen looked back and forth between the three of them.

"Yes, you're right. That can be very… beneficial for us. What is it that you need may I ask," she replied.

"Clarrissa Morgenstern. We need you to track her down. Someone like you, you have a ridiculous amount of favours from everyone and you always seem to know a lot more than you let on. If you could tell us where she is we would be in your debt." Jace bargained.

The Queen seemed to mull this over like she was weighing pro's and con's in her head. She then smiled widely back at Jace.

"I suppose you are already aware of WHO it is she's with, yes?"

Jace clenched his teeth hard at this and Alec held out a hand and layed it on his shoulder.

"Yes, Jonathon Morgenstern kidnapped her. We know he has her we just don't know where." Alec answered for Jace

"I assume that you and him are just going to have a friendly conversation and he will just hand her back over to you then?" Seelie responded.

"I don't care if I have to Kill Jonathon or get killed in the process. But I will get Clary back." Jace replied harshly.

Seelie's smile broadened now at this. She waited a while though before she responded.

"I can tell you where Clarissa is but if you think that you could kill Jonathon my dear boy you are mistaken. He has plans for him that even he is not aware of in which he needs to be alive is that clear." Seelie responded unkindly as if a threat.

"I just want to find Clary." Jace said tiredly, almost defeated.

"And you will…"
