Chapter 12 - Threat
Luna was walking across the grounds of the school and towards the building. She stopped right outside of the entrance of the school. She let out a breath before she walked inside the school and headed down to her house. She walked in and felt all eyes on her. There was whispering going on; "Something on your minds?" she questioned them.
No one said anything to her and she heard a door open it was Draco's room, "Luna come here now," he stated angrily at her and turned and entered his room. She walked towards his room without hesitation and entered, as soon as she walked in the door slammed shut behind her and locked. She didn't look back at it. She felt her feet off the ground the next moment and against the wall. She was struggling to breath, "Draco put me down this instant," she demanded.
He looked at her, then brought her down towards the ground, and stepped so he was in front of her, "Don't ever do that to me again," he growled at her.
He ended the spell and her feet where back on the ground, "Then don't speak to her like that again."
Draco looked at her and raised an eyebrow at her, "Why would it matter Luna?"
Luna took out her wand and casted a silencing spell around the room, "I'll let you in on a secret Draco that my brother doesn't know about. I don't agree with what the Dark Lord says or does. I only said I would do it to save my life." Draco looked at her and didn't say anything to her. "I know how things are going to end Draco. I've seen it and I've seen it end many different ways but in the end only one side ever wins."
"Who?" Draco asked
Luna shook her head, "You know I can't tell you Draco."
"If you've seen it end only one way then why not tell me?"
"I won't tell you because you need to decide in the end what side you're going to be on Draco and I really hope you choose the right one. Now unlock the door."
Draco shook his head, "I'm not going to let you out Luna," he said coming over to her. He pressed his lips against hers hard. She kissed him back but pulled away from him afterwards. She walked away and looked out his window at the school grounds, "So why won't you let me out?"
"I let you out and they question everything."
She could see him in the window as he stood behind her he put his hands on her hips and kissed her neck lightly.
Luna smiled slightly, "Still mad at me Malfoy?" she asked
"Just a bit," he said to her.
"Well behave Malfoy," she said.
He turned her around and looked down at her, "I'll behave if I want to," he said to her.
"You'll behave because I told you to."
"Or what? You won't curse me or anything like that."
"I will put you into a body bind," she paused and thought for a moment before she spoke, "Would you curse me Draco?"
He looked at her and moved some of her hair to the side. He didn't say anything but she heard the door unlock, "Go away."
She didn't say anything to him, turned, and left the room. She walked up to her room and laid on her bed. She didn't sleep that night at all. She got up with the sun shining but didn't know what to do with herself. She had classes but she had to force herself to go to class. She arrived moments before the professor but she ended up sitting away from Draco. She felt eyes on her the entire class period. The entire day she didn't sit with Draco during their classes together. He caught up to her after their potions class. He grabbed a hold of her arm and pulled her back. She looked at him, "What do you want?" she said plainly.
"What's with you today?" he asked looking at her
"Nothing, I'm just tired."
"Then why didn't you sit with me?"
"Because I don't have to," she said and pulled her arm from him. She headed over to, walked next to Harry and Ron, and gave them a smile. She spent the rest of the night with them and came to her room a few moments before curfew started.
"Where have you been?" Seth asked looking at her.
"With Harry and Ron," Luna said and going to walk past her twin.
"I know Luna," Seth said.
"Know what Seth?" Luna questioned
He had grabbed a hold of her upper arm pulling her towards him, "You're not on his side. What do you think will happen if he's told?" Luna just looked at him and didn't say anything. "Next time we see him Luna maybe I should ask him to test your loyalty."
"Seth, don't threaten her," Draco's voice came, "Now let her go."
"She's my sister Draco," Seth said looking at Draco.
"Your sister but she's marrying me. I trump you now let her go," Draco said again. Luna pulled her arm from her brother's grasp, Draco then put his arm around her waist, and they went to his room. He shut the door behind him as he locked the door.
"No more secrets Luna you tell me everything," he said taking his wand out and casting the same spell she cast just the other night. She sat on his bed and waited for him. He stayed standing though.
"He loses Draco," Luna said plainly.
"Why?"
"Because of the choices people make." He then came and sat down next to her. She leaned back and looked up at his ceiling.
