Hiya!
I am literally SO, so sorry for making you guys wait this long for a new chapter.

I knew that I was really behind on this and I needed to finish it, but I just got really busy with classes and work and I even ended up taking summer classes just to get ahead.

Then when I felt like I could write I literally didn't know what else to write! I had the WORST writers block and I still do. I don't know I like how I finished it but I feel like some of you will be sad. Initially I only wanted these to be a few one shots with the couples and it kind of turned into a story with a underlying plot line that could definitely be expanded. I just don't have the willpower nor interest to really take it that far and for that I'm really Really sorry.

I did in fact finish this though and I promise to upload the remaining (LONG) chapters to you guys!

So I will stop talking now...or I guess writing, to be honest that's kind of weird because you're reading this so I'm kind of talking but I'm not and.

Okay who cares

ONTO THE CHAPTER!~

Enjoy

(!SMUT ALERT SMUT ALERT!)

Jealousy

Zoisite's POV

"Ami why are you pacing?"

"I've grown the habit of pacing when I'm in deep thought. It helps me come to a conclusion…"

I watched her walk back and forth through the bedroom. My bedroom to be exact. Her bed hair was quite frizzed, and she wore my basic white t-shirt. The best part? Nothing was underneath. I smirked at the thought of her naked skin along the soft fabric of my shirt.

After walking home from the hospital last night Ami made it quite clear that she should spend the night at mine. She wouldn't hear a complaint from me. On the contrary, it was a blessing. I sat up, leaning my back against the dark mahogany headboard and watched her. She was a cute little thing, not any taller than 5 feet, petite, but filled in the right places. "What are you thinking about?"

"About this whole soul mate thing. Rei was talking about the strings snapping after the accident. It just doesn't make sense, and there isn't much information on the matter." She said quietly.

Scratching the back of my head I sighed with guilt in the pit of my stomach, "You know Ami, all of us know the specifics of the theory."

With wide eyes she looked to me with enthusiasm. Squealing like a little girl she jumped back onto the bed, sitting perfectly in my lap. "Really! How? Who told you? When were you going to tell me!?"

I chuckled taking her glasses off her heart shaped face. "Ami calm down. I'm sure everyone is telling you girls now. You need to know. To answer all your questions, we were called to a meeting back in the Silver Millennium. Queen Selenity told us, and I was going to tell you today. Preferably after breakfast."

"But I want to know now! No I need to know!" She pouted. I raised my eyebrows at her eagerness and she blushed, tucking a blue strand of hair behind her ear delicately. "Sorry I got a little carried away."

I pulled her into my chest, running small circles on her back lightly. "It's fine, it's cute."

I didn't need to look to know she was blushing. It was such an interesting thing to watch, Ami was a very expressive person, she would go through multiple emotions all at once. The rapid beating of her heart, the held breath, and the fingers that were now clutching onto my bare chest. Each and every one of those actions reminded me just how much I loved her. I placed my hands over hers, lacings our fingers together.

"So will you tell me now?" she asked impatiently.

I chuckled shaking my head. "You really want to know?"

She smiled rubbing circles along my pectorals, her head resting on my shoulder. "I would really, really appreciate it."

Sighing I ran my fingers through her hair, telling her everything from the beginning. Back to the first day Serena and Darien met, and from then on. At times she would interrupt and ask me to go into more detail, in which I was more than happy to oblige. Enjoying the way her eyes shone with interest and excitement. How she would lie back down and listen carefully, murmuring small Oo's and ah's in the right places. I even loved how when I finished, she just laid contently upon the bed, letting all the information process through her head.

Finally, after a few moments of silence she spoke up. "You know, besides reading very nonfictional books, I had also enjoyed reading fiction. I had this, well, vision that the soul mate theory was just like the ones they had described in books. Although after what Queen Selenity told you, I'm starting to believe it's quite a challenge. The fact that neither of us can interfere with anyone's love life without some sort of karma…"

"It's harsh, however I think it's understandable."

She moved her head from my shoulder to look me in the eyes, "How so? Don't you think it's a bit absurd?"

I shook my head, twirling a strand of her hair around my finger. "What they do with their lives shouldn't rely upon what we think or say. Regardless of what people tell me I want to be with you and I will act how I wish around you. If there are any problems in our relationship I don't want it to be a conversation including all of your friends. Relationships are personal. The soul mate theory is deeper than other relationships. It's only to be expected that such drastic consequences can happen."

Ami smiled, wrapping her arms around my neck and resting our chests together. "You're very clever."

"Thanks for pointing out the obvious Mrs. Captain Obvious." I chuckled playfully.

She rolled her eyes dramatically, reaching over she kissed my cheek tenderly then hopped off the bed. "Come on I think we've spent quite enough time in bed. We should call everyone to go see Jaden today."

I groaned slipping further into the covers, "I think we should spend a little more time in bed." I could hear her giggling response from the other half of the apartment. Then the sounds of glass mugs being taken from the cupboard and being placed on the granite counters. I finally decided that Ami would be Ami and started to get ready. Grabbing clothes from the dresser I put on a light blue long sleeve and my dark blue jeans and proceeded to wash my face and brush my teeth, looking in the mirror at my long strands of hair.

Men in this time didn't have such long hair and it made me think quite a few times about cutting it. Messing with one of the ends Ami appeared next to me with a coffee for each of us in her hands. "Here, this should help wake you up."

I smiled taking a sip, "Thanks."

She went into the closet and grabbed her spare clothes, something she had already prepared for and had hung in there for the nights she would stay over. While she got dressed I looked back in the mirror. "Ami, what would you think if I cut my hair?" I asked skeptically.

She emerged from the room with a light blue sweater and dark grey skinny jeans. "Cut your hair? How short?"

I sighed pulling out the band holding my hair in a pony tail, letting it fall down freely so I could assess its length. "Most of it. Something like Darien's and that idiot Jaden's. It seems long hair is not as popular as it once used to be."

She walked up to me pulling the strands from my face and bunching it up so she could try and imagine it. "I think you're perfect with your hair long. However going short wouldn't be bad either. Have you ever thought of doing a bun in the back instead of a pony tail?"

I looked back to the mirror before meeting her aquamarine eyes again. "No, would you like to do it for me though?"

She giggled nodding enthusiastically as she grabbed the hair brush off the sink, pulling my hair back into her preferred style. "This reminds me of the days we used to spend on Mercury. You used to let me play with your hair quite often."

I chuckled, "Most of the time you did it while I was absorbed in reading a book. You know very well that I don't pay attention when I'm engrossed in something interesting."

She smiled remembering the days we used to spend passing time in her family's library. "I remember when Mina and Malcolm came over and she made you two put your hair into pigtails like Serena's."

I narrowed my eyes at her, remembering the dreadful memory. "That was only because that idiot Malcolm would listen to anything Mina said. I swear we would have won that game if he hadn't of given into Mina's signature puppy dog eyes."

She finished tying my hair back into the bun, letting the few strands frame my face as they had before and smiled at her handiwork. "There, I think it suits you quite well."

I smiled pulling her to my chest, resting my hands on her hips. "Thank you, admit it Ami. If Malcolm wasn't so swayed by Mina's charm we would have won."

She smirked, "Yes you would have. However, Mina's puppy dog eyes were a part of my plan. If anything I knew you would win. Playing a game like poker has always been one of your strong points. If Malcolm wasn't so soft on Mina he wouldn't have given her a hint at his hand. Honestly you should've seen it coming."

I smiled widely. "You're a sneaky little thing aren't you?"

She stuck her tongue out playfully and moved out of my arms so she could finish getting ready. "Not like you didn't know that before."

I chuckled, wrapping my arms protectively around her waist and rested my head on her shoulder. "That's true…" I had missed the old days. Where we weren't threatened by anything and things were…calmer. When I could visit Ami at her home and speak with her parents. Now, many years later it was like starting back at square one. We were the same people, same bodies, but the world had changed, and in respect, some parts of us had changed as well. We were burdened over our losses and our past mistakes, as well as shaped to fit the world we now lived in. The days of being a prince and princess were no longer our lifestyle, and instead we were just a doctor and an accountant living our lives in Tokyo like any other person walking the Earth.

It wasn't a bad thing. No, it was easy to get used to and to adapt to. The only thing that made it hard was realizing that we had so much lost time, time that if not for a war and death could have been one with laughter and smiles. We could have been happy, maybe married and had a family. Instead we were frozen and robbed of our happiness by the darkest forces and forced to pause our life in the middle.

Ami's hand rested on my cheek lightly and I glanced to her through the mirror. Looking into those deep blue eyes that just knew. I didn't need to explain to her what I was thinking, she already knew, she had already thought of it the same time I was. I hugged her closer to me, pulling her body tightly against my own and left peppered kisses down her throat. "Z-Zane.."

"I know, come on I bet Jaden is bored out of his mind."

She giggled turning around and kissing me softly before we left the bathroom to go to the hospital.

"Zane, Ami! Finally! Gaia I was sooooo bored in here!" Jaden said in his hospital bed.

I rolled my eyes while Ami took the closest seat next to him. "How are you feeling?" She asked happily.

Jaden smirked and flexed his muscle with a giant grin on his face. "Fantastic! Like I was never hit by a car!"

I sighed taking my seat beside Ami and looking at him. In fact, it was surprising on how healthy he looked. "Really? Surely your ribs must still hurt?" I questioned. Jaden sat back against his bed in deep thought.

"Actually not really. Nothing hurts as much as it did yesterday."

Ami reached over and pressed on one of his ribs. When he didn't flinch Ami and I immediately looked at the rest of his injuries. The slight scratches and bruising that marred his skin had just about all healed up and he was sitting up like there wasn't a broken bone in his body. "How is that possible?"

"Jaden your injuries shouldn't have healed this quickly." Ami said frantically.

"Where were you injured the most? I need to know."

Jaden looked at me quizzically before shrugging and pointing to where his injuries were. I pressed along them gently then harder until he said that it hurt. Even then it was just because I had applied to much pressure to his ribs which would have hurt anyone. "This is weird."

"Very weird." Ami added.

Jaden looked at us and groaned. "Seriously you two are freaking me out! What's so weird that I'm not in pain anymore? I'm just strong!"

"No, Jaden there is no way you were healed so quickly…it…it isn't human. Your ribs should have at least taken a few weeks. How is it in a couple of days you are fine!?" Ami said skeptically.

"I've always been quick to heal." He answered simply.

I groaned at his lack of awareness and the reason for our shock. "Even so you shouldn't have healed so quickly. You had three broken rib bones. Now I wouldn't be surprised if you had another x-ray and they were fine. You're healing as quickly as we used to when we were generals and under Beryl's control."

That seemed to bring some sense to him as his baby blue eyes widened in surprise. "But-that's impossible. We don't have our magic anymore."

I looked to Ami and saw her using her goggles to so a scan of his body. "Just like I thought. He's completely healed."

"This doesn't make any sense." I muttered.

Ami put her goggles away and looked to us with bright eager eyes. "Do you perhaps think it has something to do with the soul mate theory?!"

Jaden looked to me and smiled. "So you told her the whole thing?"

"Just this morning. Does Rei know yet?"

"Yup! Told her a few days ago. You know it could be that. She's been here every day."

Ami squealed and took out her laptop to research more information. "I mean it would make sense right? The fact that you guys were able to revive with some of our own power must mean that somehow we subconsciously supply your bodies with magic whenever its needed. We weren't able to bring you back from the dead but when Serena revived everyone it was enough to at least bring you all back. Then when that happened we knew that you needed to heal and supplied it to you."

"But if that's the case and we are so closely connected why didn't Rei get injured when Jaden did?" I said.

Ami hummed in thought. "Maybe it just doesn't work like that? If the soul mate theory implies that if one of us is to die so will the other, then we would have died with you. So maybe that part is wrong? What if we don't die actually die…what if there is more to it?"

"What like a part of us goes back to our mate?" Jaden pondered?

Ami smiled happily snapping her fingers. "Exactly! But to be more specific it's our souls. Remember how I said no matter how hard I tried to move on I just couldn't? It didn't matter who it was or what happened I could never let go of that feeling. What if it was because when you died I took your soul? Instead of it being lost forever it was just being kept safe with me?"

I sighed deeply. "That's very complicated but it would make sense. When Serena's magic brought us back it may have just been our bodies. Then that last part was you all giving us back our souls which finalized our revival."

"That's precisely what I mean. So, if that is the case what if another part of it is that we continue to protect our soul mates? Like in Jaden's case he was severely injured but just by being in Rei's presence he healed. You said that back in the Silver Millennium when both the princess and prince fell ill they recovered just by being together correct?"

I smiled looking to Ami who was just about to reach an epiphany. "I did."

"So wouldn't that apply to anything? What if because Rei was here with Jaden for such long periods of time his wounds healed!?" She said in delight.

"Supporting your other half. It would make sense that such a complex matter was to occur." I mumbled.

Jaden began chuckling to himself.

"What's so funny?" Ami asked. Jaden shook his head and smiled to himself.

"I was just thinking about how Rei would react about hearing that."

"About hearing what?" The said sailor scout said from the door.

Ami stood up from her chair to hug her friend and smile, "Rei! I'm so glad you're here. We were just discussing Jaden's quick recovery."

Rei smiled warmly and made her way to Jaden's side. "I know, quite surprising isn't it? I spoke with Serena and Darien not too long ago. We don't know what it is but-"

I chuckled, "It's the soul mate principle. Well that's what Ami and I believe it is at the moment."

She rolled her eyes and sat down on the side of the bed where Jaden's arms wrapped around her waist. "Of course it is." She mumbled. "What else does that theory do? Predict our futures?"

Jaden chuckled. "Don't be embarrassed over the fact that your love healed me, little Phoenix."

Rei blushed bright red and groaned in obvious despair that he could read her so easily. Ami giggled beside me as she watched Jaden smile like a mad man while her friend ignored his advances. "Well we are just glad you are all healed up Jaden. Ami shall we go now?"

Rei sat up quickly, "Aw! You're leaving already?"

Ami smiled sadly, "I have work today and so does Zane, maybe if Jaden gets discharged today we can all go out for a dinner and catch up. Everyone's been doing their own things for a few days."

I wrapped my arm around her waist. "I don't see anyone complaining though. A dinner is a great idea. Jaden how do you think you feel?"

He grinned deviously, "I'm feeling like a champ. C'mon Rei let's go!"

Rei narrowed her eyes and pushed Jaden back to the bed. "You will stay there until the doctor discharges you. Then we can see if dinner is a good idea."

I chuckled with Ami and looked to my friend. "You should listen to her Jaden, who knows how long she will put up with you."

"HEY! For your information we are sooooo in love! Actually last night-"

Rei covered his face with a pillow and struggled to smile. "Well then I'll give you a call Ami when I hear from the doctor."

Ami was blushing, probably already have figured out what it was that Jaden was referring to. I lead her to the door after she agreed and I winked at Rei. "He's just recovered. I say you guys should take it slow. Then again, you two were never the one's to take things slowly were you?"

Rei erupted in flames and took it out on Jaden as we left the room chuckling to ourselves. "That wasn't very nice Zane," Ami giggled. "You know how shy Rei gets."

"I still don't understand how that is when they're the two that have such a passionate relationship out of all of us. I swear in the past they did it where ever they felt like it. They didn't know anything about modesty then, why now?"

Ami wiped a lone tear from her eye and sighed. "Rei just isn't used to it. Don't forget we grew up differently in this millennia. She's not as straightforward as her past self. Just as I am not as quiet and shut in like I was before." Her small hand took mine and she smiled adorably.

I smirked and brought her hand to my lips, kissing it softly. "I suppose not. You do seem to have a bit more of a daring streak in this lifetime." She blushed and pulled me through the hospital into a room and shut the door.

"I'm more daring than you think…" She kissed me then, pressing me up against the door and leaning against me. I smiled in victory knowing that this little nymph was all mine, every ounce of her was mine to worship and love. I pulled her closer to me and delved into the warmth of her mouth and kissed her relentlessly, devouring her sighs and moans. "Zane.." She breathed as we parted for air, panting and drinking in the others lust.

"hmm?" I nuzzled her neck and placed kisses along her skin, my hands roaming from her shoulders to her back and then to the small of her back.

"This is my office…" she breathed intoxicatingly. I opened my eyes and removed my lips from her skin to look at the small office which was indeed hers. The cherry wood desk with the name plate Dr. Mizuno on the top of it and a vase of blue flowers and a deep blue chair. "They gave it to me this week when I finished my internship. I've been hired as a full-fledged doctor."

I kissed her again, this time lovingly and slowly. "Congratulations Dr. Mizuno. Looks like your dreams are coming true."

She smiled wrapping her arms around my neck and pressed a single kiss to my jaw. "Thank you…would you help me with another wish?"

"Anything…"

She removed herself from me and walked to the desk antagonizing slow, with the obvious sashay of her hips until she sat on top of the desk. She motioned me over with her finger and a dangerous gleam in her eyes. I walked towards her and stood in front of her where her arms found themselves around my neck once more. "Make love to me…right here…"

My heart stopped and then beat in my chest at an incredible speed. I licked my lips. "You siren…"

(Stop reading here if you don't want lemons...)

I lost it, kissing her without abandon and settling myself in between her legs, wrapping them around my waist, "How much time do we have?"

"A-about 30 minutes before I have to get ready."

I smirked against her face. "Plenty of time then." I captured her lips again and took in her moans of pleasure. Her hands wove into my hair and pulled it out of its tie and pulled at it lightly. I groaned at the feeling and ground my arousal into hers. The kiss broke and I attacked her neck, kissing and nipping at the sensitive flesh while my hands made haste with her clothing. I ripped her blouse open and she took it off effortlessly, releasing her breasts from their confines. The bra was the next thing to go, peeling it off of her as I kissed down to her collarbone and bit down. She groaned and pulled me back to her lips. "So beautiful," I took her breasts into my hands and began to massage them, kissing one and listening to her whimpers. Soon my shirt was discarded as well and her arms clutched at my back, nails scratching my skin, leaving red marks along my skin.

I moaned and moved to the apex of her thighs, pushing her skirt up and slipping my hand inside her underwear. She held onto my arms as I rubbed my fingers against her wet folds and began inserting a finger in and out. Feeling her walls clench around my finger I inserted another. "Oh, Zane…"

I smirked kissing her as I felt her first release fast approaching and rubbed on that spot inside that sent her off the edge. She moaned deeply into my mouth and began meeting my fingers with a roll of her hips, "Cum for me Ami…"

Her head flew back as her orgasm hit her hard, her insides pulsating around my fingers and her essence dripping from my fingers. "That's it.." I continued to pump into her as she rode it out, watching her face contort in pleasure. I couldn't take it anymore and pulled her sullied underwear from her body and undid my own restraints. Letting my own arousal out and moved against her wet core, groaning into her neck.

I kissed her deeply as I entered the sanctuary of her body and moved inside her. God it was so hot, she was a mess and I was fucking her on her desk like there was no tomorrow. My thrusts became quicker and deeper as her hips met mine. "Ami," I breathed heavily as I counted to move inside her, pushing us both closer to the edge.

Suddenly there was a knock at the door and I stilled. Ami's eyes were wide with sudden fear as we looked to the door. Ami kissed my cheek and whispered into my ear. "The door is locked, and the lights are off. Please, don't stop…"

I groaned silently and continued to move in her continuing our pace even as a second set of knocks were at the door. "Ami? It's Greg are you here yet?"

Ami bit onto my shoulder as she moaned, "Harder Zane."

There was something incredibly daring about making love to her in her office where someone was right outside. If he somehow unlocked the door then we would be caught, and it aroused me. We ignored his third knock and drowned in our pleasure. I heard his steps leave down the hall and I took it upon myself to concentrate solely on the woman whimpering beneath me. She released my shoulder and moaned desperately into my neck, "Faster…almost there…Ah!"

I didn't hold back, delivering exactly what she wanted and buried myself into her faster and harder, panting as I accelerated towards euphoria, I was so close. I took her breast into my mouth and pounded into her relentlessly as she crashed and her insides pulsed with her climax. I grunted my released inside her soon after, riding it out as her walls clenched around me like a vice.

(You may resume...)

We caught our breaths in the dark and I pulled out of her, looking at her disheveled appearance with a sense of accomplishment. She regained her composure and smiled lustfully, the sentence rolling off of her tongue smoothly, "Told you I was more daring…"

I chuckled and kissed her deeply, expressing everything I could into that one kiss before parting and tidying ourselves up. She took her clothes from the floor and walked to a closet changing into her scrubs and putting her white coat over it. I licked my lips as I waited for her to finish getting ready. "Well I say that was the best 30 minutes of my day." I smirked.

She met my smile and turned her lights on, "I'd have to agree with that. Now then, I have some patients to meet and you have work in an hour." She kissed me once more with longing and sighed. "I'll see you after work."

"Sounds good. Text me when you're done."

She smiled and waved as I left her office and left to work. I felt slightly awkward walking down the hall feeling as if my smile gave the indication of what had happened minutes prior. I sighed happily, a good day it was.

"Whoa!"

I stopped immediately and avoided crashing into a doctor who looked equally surprised. "Sorry about that, I was lost in the clouds." he said laughing.

I smiled and laughed with him, "So was I, I'm glad we were able to avoid crashing into one another."

"Same!" He looked at me and snapped his fingers. "You're friends with Jaden right!?"

I chuckled and shifted onto my left side, "Indeed I am. He's a bit of a trouble maker from what I have heard."

The young man laughed and shook his head. "Nah, he's dating Rei, which just so happens to be my ex-girlfriends friend. You might know her, her name is Ami. Ami Mizuno."

My heart stopped and I almost let the dark jealousy take away my reasoning. "Ah! Yes…I do know Ami."

He looked at me a little more intensely and I prayed he did not know that I was the one she was now dating. Ami had mentioned him before. What was his name… "I see, well my name is Greg! It's great meeting you, I'm afraid I can't stay and chat I'm trying to find someone."

Greg. He was the one at Ami's door while we were having sex. I smirked, she knew and yet she didn't stop. There was no need for my jealously when I was obviously the lucky one to have her. "My name is Zane, it was nice meeting you too. I hope you find who you are looking for."

He smiled widely and began walking down the hall. "Thanks!"

I sighed letting the weight of my shoulders go and began walking. "Ah! Ami!" I stopped. Fucking hell. I turned and saw Greg walk up briskly to Ami with a huge smile. "I was looking for you. If you don't mind can we talk…?"

Ami looked troubled and looked away, in my direction and our eyes met. I smiled and mouthed 'are you okay?'. To which she looked to Greg with a sad smile, "Actually Greg there's someone I'd like you to meet."

I paled. Damnit Ami. She looked to my direction and I couldn't help but walk over knowing that she wanted me over there. Greg looked confused and looked to where her eyes were. He saw me and smiled.

"Oh Zane? Yeah, he's Jaden's friend right?" He said happily.

I met Ami's side and she smiled happily and then cleared her throat awkwardly. " Ah, I see you've already met then."

He smiled warmly with loving eyes towards her, I felt bad for the guy. "Yeah! I actually just ran into him."

I looked to Ami and sighed, she was going to tell him. So much for keeping everything drama free for awhile. "I see. Well Greg let me reintroduce him, this is Zane…my boyfriend."

I felt Ami's delicate fingers interlace with my own as I watched Greg pale. "I-I see."

The silence was awkward and probably even more so for the man. He looked ill, and I couldn't blame him. Just knowing he was her ex was enough to make me feel like shit."I have a few clients waiting on me. Nice meeting you Zane. Later Ami."

The change in how he said it compared to before was obvious, that now after being told I was dating the girl of his dreams he was pissed and hated me. I sighed as he left and turned to the woman of our affections. She looked up at me with a guilty expression, "Sorry about that…"

I smiled and kissed her cheek. "I understand why you did it. Hopefully he will leave you alone now."

She smiled, "Hopefully. Sorry I hope I haven't made you late…"

I chuckled and walked towards the exit. "I'll be fine, I work my own schedule, see you later." I watched the blush rise to her cheeks and continued on my way to work with a wide smile.

Today was great.
