We Are really starting to get into the story now. This is where you will see my creativity. I know that the first few chapters were nothing new but in the last few chapters we have been introduced to the mist and the constellations. And I am proud to say that this is only the beginning.

Now I'm aware that this chapter has taken some time to put it lightly. But I'm going to try to stay completely committed. Going to aim for at least 2 hours a day writing or at least brainstorming. Well enough rambling, enjoy.

Percy's POV

I wasn't expecting for that to of happened. Maybe it would have shook her up or something, briefly shown her a vision. Who knows! Unconsciousness was the last thing I had expected. I didn't even know gods could fall unconscious! But here I was, sitting on a pillow, with a goddess fast asleep on the floor.

I stared at her lifeless body in deep thought. I wonder what is going on in that head of hers. It must be quite interesting, when she fell unconscious I tried to wake her up, with no avail.

She finally started to stir. Her body seemed to be almost shaking, and she let out a soft moan. Suddenly her eyes shot open. They found two eyes of a very amused demigod staring back at them. A moment passed. Then another. Then me being intelligent I spoke up.

"You drool in your sleep." Sure its a little cheesy. But oddly enough it was almost fitting, albeit inaccurate.

She blankly stared back at me. Her brain moving a thousand miles an hour but her muscles laying still. It's incredible how still a body can be, almost as if that person is a stone statue and not a living, breathing being.

"So what did you see," I asked excitedly, "what was it that the mist showed you?"

She hesitated, carefully choosing her words, "I saw me hunting the foul beasts that plague the land. I saw the best me I could ever imagine," she paused, "and, I saw Zoƫ, on the night that we first met."

"Is that all?" I asked, there must of been more. She nodded.

"Well," I said, "it's quite a clear vision then, mine are always full of chaos and disillusionment."

She took this all in before asking, "so what do these visions mean?"

"It's quite simple," I looked right into her eyes, "you want to be free." She looked surprised. "You imagine a world where you are free from fate, free from Olympus, free from the mistakes of the past,"

She looked into my eyes. Trying her best to make me feel insignificant compared to her 12 year old form. So far it wasn't working.

"You know, you were out cold for 3 hours." I told her. Her anger flared up.

"And you were watching me all that time!" She all but screamed at me, "You pathetic thing, I should turn you into a Jackalope!"

"I think I'll go check out what the hunters are up to," I said nervously. Already up and getting closer to the tent flap.

"You get back here Perseus," she called. And that's when my perfect easy life got turned upside down.

RWOAAAAAAARRRR!

"Why is it also screeches and roars," I muttered under my breath, "is it so hard to say a simple hello." And with that me and Artemis ran off to defeat a giant bear.

The hunters were already in intense combat with the bear. But their arrows seemed to have little effect, and the hunting knives weren't much better. Artemis was shooting the beast with extreme power and deadly precision and an incredible rate of fire. But that wasn't much help either.

I was charging at the beast alongside her, Riptide in hand. The bear itself was the size of a school bus and probably twice as tall. It's coat was made purely of brown fur and its teeth were each the size of a full length sword. It's claws were only slightly shorter, and I imagine quite sharp.

So using my incredible overpowered power of doom I vanquished the beast to the deepest parts of Tartarus. If only it were that easy.

Instead I had to rely on my battle instincts. Artemis's arrows seemed to of successfully distracted the bear towards us and a giant paw came to strike at my vulnerable face. I ducked just in time, the thick coat of fur swiping inches from my head. Artemis wasn't so lucky, she flew back and slammed against a nearby pine.

"Hey Bitch face!" I screamed. It roared in anger, guess it understood the message.

"Oh sorry, that's an insult to actual female dogs." Another satisfying roar. Giving me the perfect opportunity to get myself underneath the bear and strike at its underbelly. But there was no bear guts falling on my head. My sword bounced right off of the bear as if it were made of metal plates. How do you kill this damn thing.

Suddenly a bright idea came to me. I ran up to Thalia and told her, "I need you to launch me on top of that thing."

"Are you Insane!"

"Probably." She shrugged and boosted me high into the air. A perk of being a demigod and a forever virgin hunter has its perks I suppose. I hurtled through through the air before grabbing onto the bear fur. And let me tell you, not easy. I managed to climb my way up onto the bears back. Slowly crawling my way up towards the left ear. When I arrived at my destination I sent a whole bunch of fire directly into the bears inner ear. Thalia, who was watching in absolute awe, caught on and fired a lightning bolt at the same spot.

I was sure the resulting explosion, which had sent me flying a good 30 yards away, would blow off the bears head. When the smoke cleared though, the bear was still standing. The absolute fucking tank. It's fur however was completely burnt, and it's skin didn't look much better. It was not a sigh one sees in happy dreams.

The bear gave a half assed roar that sounded like, I'm angry but my head is also on fire and my vocal cords aren't really working. Artemis quickly ended it with several arrows sprouting from the forehead. It slowly started to turn into dust.

I walked up to the moon goddess and said, "I guess that was Ursa Major."

Artemis shook her head. Then another even louder roar was heard. The source a bear at least twice the size of the previous enemy.

Artemis sighed, "that's Ursa Major."

Yes! The chapter is finally completed, albeit long overdue. But what can I say, I had issues that needed dealing with, which caused a lack of commitment, which caused some really shitty writing. Basically a dominos effect. Anyways hope you enjoyed it more than I enjoyed writing it.

Also I have 2 great ideas I've been developing. Both of which are original ideas that do not follow any kind of storyline I have read before. The least cliche things ever. And they are in universe too, which is a lot harder than throwing characters into a modern day godfather story.

Anyway at least one of them should come out within the next few days, so expect it to come out in 2040 at the earliest. And as always, reviewing is mandatory so do it.
