Really sorry about the long wait, especially with where the last chapter left off, but now, here's the much awaited return of Naboo. Thanks for the continued support even though I'm awful at updating!

Naboo and Bollo were entering their second month of the: "We're All Shaman and We Can Do Whatever We Want and We Also Live Forever So Ha Ha" bash, held once every hundred years. A bash that while Naboo barely ever remembers what actually happens, is always the highlight of the century.
Fortunately (or perhaps unfortunately for him) Naboo was approaching a rare point of actually being sober and coherent for the first time in weeks, and was just about to grab another drink, when the call came in.
That's when the party ended.

On the other side of the planet, Howard Moon was living the life he always dreamed. Maybe he wasn't a world famous actor, or wildlife photographer, or musician, or anything really, but that didn't bother him. He had an obedient pet that would do anything for him, and more importantly, he had so much money. He didn't need anything more.
Yes, everything was going perfect for Howard Moon. Unfortunately for him, it wouldn't last.

Howard was sitting behind the counter, enjoying the new issue of his quarterly Jazz magazine, killing some time before he had to go clean his pet up for its next appointment. The last client had left 10 minutes ago, with a satisfied look on his face. Howard had smiled at him and told him to come back soon.
They always came back.
He was reading the last paragraph of a story on the progress of scat through the ages, when the shop door was opened and Naboo and Bollo walked in.
Howard just rolled his eyes at them. "About time you two showed up. You've been gone what, a month? Without even a word. While I took care of your shop. What were you even doing?" Howard asked.
Naboo didn't open his mouth to speak, he just stared at Howard emotionlessly and let Bollo speak for him.
"Where Precious Vince?" Bollo growled.
"Not even a hello?" Howard asked sarcastically and sighed when all he got was another growl in response. "Seems like people only ever come to see my pet anymore, I might be offended if I wasn't so rich because of it." He muttered to himself, missing the way Naboo further tensed up at his words.
"It's in the back room, I haven't gotten around to fixing it up yet, but you're welcome to have some fun before the next person arrives." Howard said and watched them walk past him before going back to his magazine.
He heard the gasp and the growl they made when they opened the door and smirked, his pet was quite a sight to behold.
Then there was the sound of metal being crushed and everything started to shake. Things were knocked from the shelves and the glass on one of the display cases shattered.
Dropping his magazine, Howard ran over to where Naboo was standing, holding a crushed door knob in his hand and looking at his pet. Howard opened his mouth to ask just what the hell Naboo thought he was doing, when he whipped around and locked eyes with Howard.
Everything seemed to happen all at once, before Howard even has time to process what's happening, he's flying across the room slamming against the wall and falling to the floor. He hears a roar of rage and looks up to see Naboo stalking towards him.
Howard is sure that at some point this would have terrified him, but for some reason, now he just finds it funny. "What's wrong Naboolio? Sad you didn't think of it first?" Howard smirks and then everything is shaking again, displays are falling, and something explodes.
"There are no words to accurately convey how furious I am right now Moon, and I do not want to hear another word from that vile mouth." Naboo spits, looking like he wants to pummel him.
Howard ignores the look and is just opening his mouth to mock Naboo some more when a cry from the back of the store stops him. Both he and Naboo turn to look as Bollo attempts to hold back his frantic and naked pet.
"Master!" It cries, fighting uselessly against the gorilla's arms to get to Howard.
Howard hears Bollo tell 'Precious Vince to calm down' and smirks, before seeing the despair on Naboo's face, then he laughs, and everything stops.
His pet looks confused, and Naboo slowly turns to look at Howard in shock.
"Perfect little whore isn't it." Howard sneers and the look of shock morphs to fury as Naboo smashes his fist into Howard's face. He hears his pet scream, and everything goes black.

Naboo would readily admit, he had never been so completely unprepared for anything in his life.
After getting the unexpected phone call, from Lance Dior of all people, and listening with steadily building anger at what Dior had done and what had been happening during his absence at the Nabootique, Naboo found Kanoo, kicked him in the balls, and made him explain exactly what the potion was.
But even knowing all the facts, and knowing that it was one of those shitty, make you act out your darkest desires potions, as well as the cure, was nowhere near enough to prepare him for the actual reality of the situation.
He had known it would be bad, he'd known it would be awful, but actually walking into the shop and hearing the things coming out of Howard's mouth, actually opening the stockroom door and seeing his friend tied up and presented like that, covered in some nameless person's semen, blindfolded and defenseless, broken and used; that was something he would never be ready to see.
And he lost it.
Naboo isn't proud that he let his powers go out of control, violently crashing through his shop and shaking its very foundation. He isn't proud that by doing so he scared Vince, who could do nothing but whimper. He isn't proud that he left Bollo to deal with Vince while he dealt with Howard. He isn't proud that he let Howard get to him. He isn't proud that he unintentionally hurt Vince by hurting Howard.
But truthfully, Naboo doesn't think he could have stopped any of that, even if he had wanted to.
The whole situation was a sick and twisted nightmare come to life, some dark, obscene fantasy that had been lurking somewhere deep inside Howard, just waiting for the opportunity to be acted upon, and Naboo was furious.
What kind of monster thinks about doing something like this to their best friend? Potion or no, Howard had thought about this, even if he had never planned on acting on it, he had fantasized about destroying and using the only person who really cared about him, for money. He knew Howard was a pretty shit friend after he sold Vince off for a map that one time but god this was horrific.
Naboo looked down at Vince, who had broken free from Bollo and was now franticly trying to wake the unconscious Howard. "Master please wake up!" Vince cried, and Naboo couldn't suppress his cringe at the name.
"Precious Vince broken." Bollo mourned sadly, looking like he wanted to wrap Vince up and hide him away from the world but not knowing how to fix this.
Naboo didn't know how to fix it either. He knew how to fix Howard, but Vince was another story. How do you fix someone that doesn't want to be fixed? How do you save someone that doesn't want to be saved?
Naboo sighed, one thing at a time.
Walking over to an overturned rack, he grabbed a robe and walked back to Vince.
"Vince, I know this is hard, but I need you to put this on and go sit with Bollo while I fix Howard. Can you do that for me?" Naboo said soothingly, handing Vince the robe.
Vince looked like he wanted to argue, but whatever Howard did to him seemed to have made him obedient to a fault. He took the robe from Naboo and slipped it over his soiled, naked body, before walking over to Bollo. He stopped when he reached the gorilla and looked at the ground.
"Y-you won't hurt him right?" He asked fearfully, and it hurt Naboo to hear his once confident friend reduced to such a state.
"I'm going to fix him."
"He isn't broken." Vince stated with more force, turning around to face him. It gave Naboo the tiniest speck of hope that Vince was still in there, but looking into those lifeless eyes left little room for optimism. Even if his friend was in there, he would never be the same.
"Vince, I need you to trust me okay?" Naboo said and watched as Vince scrutinized him before nodding. He continued to look uneasy, but he went and sat with Bollo, allowing Naboo to focus on Howard.
Taking the potion he got from Kanoo, (with the promise of a painful death should it not work) Naboo opened Howard's mouth and poured it in.
For a moment nothing happened, then Howard began to seize and Vince started screaming again.

Howard wakes up to yelling.
He feels like he's been looking out a foggy window and now he can finally see.
He feels like himself again for the first time in a long time.
He's finally woken up from that awful dream that he only now is realizing was bad, because while it was happening, nothing had ever felt so good. But now that it's over, he's never been so relieved to wake up.
He groans and the yelling stops.
Then Howard opens his eyes, and wakes up to a nightmare.
His sees Vince first, and its more than he can handle. The way he's looking at Howard with such devotion, the way the robe he's wearing does nothing to cover up atrocities done to him, the way his eyes hold none of the sunshine that belongs in them, the way he holds himself like he's about to shatter. Howard can only stare in horror.
"Master" Vince says like a prayer, and Howard feels the bile building up in his throat.
When Vince reaches out to him, Howard can do nothing to stop the flinch. Vince pulls his hand away looking hurt, instead reaching up to touch the collar around his neck for comfort.
"Oh god, Vince." Howard gasps before leaning over and throwing up.

Hopefully, things will be looking up for Vince now that Howard's back, but... ya know, it's this story sooo... Reviews?
