Reyna.

Reyna was having trouble keeping her mind clean. Her memories came poking at her concentration every few seconds, creating holes and entry ways for the disembodied demon Agrabadon.

She almost stumbled as Caleb pulled her closer to him. His hands were gripped on her upper hand tightly in his attempt at keeping her close to him. Despite the roughness of his grip, she felt grateful for his hand, because as they walked deeper into the forest, she had the feeling that every step they made, added a layer of darkness to the night.

As the darkness grew, and her memories created holes in her mental block, she saw monsters crawling out of the darkness, reaching for her. They were monster from her past, monster that had somehow, caused her enough fear for the demon to use it on her. even if she didn't know that she feared them. Or perhaps it was the reliving of the events thats scared her.

She would have stayed and fought the imaginary enemies, except for Caleb's hand; he was pulling her along with him, and the gods only knew how he could see so well in the darkness. He did not stumble, or fall, or walk into any tree or rock. He simply strode thought he forest as though it was broad day light.

At random points, she would see eyes so evil, and feel the heated breath of something so ugly, things that she had never seen before. She could only assume that they belonged to Caleb's. She didn't however, comment on them, partly because Caleb's expression stopped her, partly because she didn't want to upset him; least it made him break his focus, since her concentration was about as reliable as thin air.

After what seemed like forever in darkness, the faint light of the rising sun started to penetrate the forest, chasing the darkness away. When finally, the dark faded, she swore she heard a soft cruel laughter right near to her, and an evil sounding voice saying "until next time..."

after about 30 minutes, Reyna bumped into the back of Caleb. He had stopped walking after being quite for way to long.

He turned, sniffing the air.

Before she could react, he grabbed her and brought her closer to him. His hand behind her next, he buried his face at her next, forcing her faced up.

"What?" she near shouted, shocked and a little scared by his actions.

She felt him nuzzle her neck, his lips and nose touching her sensitive skin, just above her pulse. She stood still shock and fear holding her in place.

Then his using his teeth, he tugged lightly at her skin, causing her breath to unintentionally hitch higher and higher. He then released her skin and licked the spot he had bitten, causing her to shudder with...something.

She gasped, shoving at his chest, angry, confused and humiliated at both his actions and her response.

"Caleb, what?" she asked, her voice shaky.

He looked at her with heavy eyes, something dangerous, seductive and hungry lurking there. His breath was coming slowly, but the effort to keep it controlled was evident.

They stared at each other for a few seconds.

Then Caleb snapped his head to the left, and without a word walked in that direction, leaving her standing there, staring at his retreating back.
