AN: I am saddened. : (. Fanfiction was not working with me today at all! GRRRRR! Anyways, hope ya all like this chapter. There was some confusion about the past chapter and I realized I made a mistake. I wasn't going to have Bianca change her name yet. Also, she didn't notice that it wasn't Lium because the one she killed was Lium's brother. Anyways, Enjoy.

Chapter 12: The return of an Enemy

I snarled menacingly at Lium. I was tired, and he knew it too. "FINEEE! YOU WANT A FAIR FIGHT!" I growled at him. "THEN HAVE IT!" I flung dirt into his eyes and ran as fast as I could. I didn't have the strength to fight him today. I ran past my Pride and waved my tail frantically at them to follow. To my surprise, Fawn had joined up with the Pride, carrying her young cub with her. No matter. We just needed to get out of here.

Once we had reached our territory, only then did I relax. I stormed into my cave, not even wanting to face any lion. All I could see was the haunted look in my mother's eyes as she lay dead on the ground. I couldn't even bear to bury her yet. I hadn't even gotten to say goodbye!

I covered my nose and eyes with my paws, and went into a state of confusion and depression.

Suddenly I heard footsteps. It was Vashti. "Bianca- oh Bianca!" She ran over to me and started comforting me. "Bianca this isn't your fault. None of it. You aren't to blame for your mother's death. Not even your Father. "

I looked up at her, despair in my eyes. "But I DID!" I wailed. I knew I was acting like a cub, but when you've been through as much trouble as I have in my life, you might understand what it feels like to have your heart taken out and torn to shreds. Your family ripped away from you by one lion. One lion.

Vashti shook her head. "Bianca look at me."

I couldn't bear to lift my head to look at her.

"Bianca LOOK at me." Her voice was firm, offering no place for excuses.

I lifted my bloodshot eyes and glanced at her mournfully.

Vashti looked at me. "Bianca. You need to listen to me. You couldn't have stopped any of this. You-"

I cut her off with a weak and pitiful snarl, but a snarl none the less. " Yes I could have! If I hadn't let Lium boss me around, then Lium wouldn't have killed Shera and Kazimu would have been alive as well! "

Vashti shook her head firmly. "No. You couldn't have stopped this. Lium was bound to hate you. He didn't like you at all. He was jealous to be honest. He said that you had been born into the great Kazi Pride and had fighting in your blood."

I looked up at my friend somewhat scornfully. "Me? Jealous of me?!" I leaped to my feet and started to pace, whipping my tail back and forth.

Vashti stepped back to avoid my tail. "Bianca please! Bianca you need to calm down."

I growled at her and swiped unsteady paws in her direction. I snarled in satisfaction when she backed up, eyes wide. "Calm down? You want me to CALM DOWN?! Lium just killed my Father and Mother, and literally ripped my heart into shreds, and you want me to CALM DOWN?!"

Vashti looked at me sadly. She whispered so softly at first I didn't hear her. "Bianca, I'm sorry. Nothing could have been different. Though I wish it was, for your sake." She then turned and ran out of the cave.

I glanced at my paws, shocked and disappointed with myself. How dare I do such a thing! Here Vashti was, trying to comfort me, and I could do was yell at her and try to hurt her! I sunk down into a miserable heap. It wasn't long before I fell asleep. In the world of fluffy unicorns, I had the biggest surprise of my life waiting there.

I was standing in an unfamiliar territory. Tall trees loomed way above my head, almost inviting me to come and jump in their strong branches. The scent of water and never-ending food flooded my senses. But before I could move, two bright lights flashed in front of me.

I looked up, surprised. My mother was there, her beautiful emerald eyes shining. Kazimu was right beside her, and looked young and strong again.

"Mother, Father!" I just couldn't keep my paws still and soon found myself purring and breathing in their scent.

Shera gently pushed me away, her gaze showing all the love and compassion she had for me.

"It's good to see you too, Bianca, but we haven't come for a family reunion."

Kazimu nodded his head. "That's right. Bianca there is something you need to know about Lium. I know how you will react and I am just asking you to remain calm, no matter what we tell you."

"It's for the good of both of you. If you keep on your plan of killing each other, then it will tear up what is left," Shera added softly.

What is left? What in the world was my mother talking about?

I glanced at each of them, uncertainty showing through my eyes. I uneasily lashed my tail, and yawned to try to get rid of the tension I was feeling. What could they possibly be talking about?

Kazimu coughed meaningly and I straightened my gaze back to him. "Sorry," I muttered, embarrassed that I had lost control of my emotions already.

"This is very important, and you cannot deny the truth."

I wish they would just spit it out already!

They spoke at the same exact time.

"Bianca, Lium is your full blooded brother."

I stared at them in disbelief.

As one, they spoke. And as they spoke, the beautiful Oasis in which I was in began to fade.

"Bianca forgive."

They faded away from sight, and I was plunged into darkness. I ran and searched for them, but found them nowhere. The words echoed in my head, as if they were still talking to me.

"Forgive. Forgive. Forgive. Forgive. Forgive," their voices faded away and I was left in darkness.
