A/N: Sorry it has been so long to get the final ending/epilogue up. I know some of you are probably going to hate the ending but eh it was what I did versus killing Usagi outright which wouldn't have had much of a point anyway. I'm fairly happy with the actual ending so hopefully you are as well. I am finishing that up now but I wanted to get Seiya's fate wrapped up and I didn't want it in the same chapter as the epilogue with everyone else.
Chapter 12: The Fate of Seiya Kou
Seiya leaned back in his chair...life was good. Life was very good. He had taken care of his loose ends and the only one left who had any idea of his double life was Yaten. Luckily his youngest brother could live as the man didn't know nearly enough to cause Seiya any further issues.
Right behind him he heard a phone ring. The flight attendant picked it up on the second ring and for a moment seemed to be talking with someone in hushed tones. He was about to ask her to kindly silence herself when he heard her walking up to him. Seiya stared at her questioningly as she held the phone out to him.
"Call for you Sir. It sounds important." The flight attendant stated with an ever present fake smile.
Seiya grumbled in annoyance but acquiesced to her request and took the phone. He glanced down at the number displayed and immediately had a sinking feeling. With no small amount of hesitation he took the phone and answered the call. "This is Seiya."
"Seiya Kou. You have caused us quite the conundrum." A sibilant voice responded.
"Saphir...I can explain." Seiya started but was quickly cut off.
"No...no I don't believe you can. You see you have caused irreparable harm to the Black Moon Circus. Do you realize the kind of scrutiny you put us under?" Saphir questioned with a hint of condescending tone.
"I've already taken care of it! I killed anyone that would have any useful information that could link back to me or the organization. The Police are paid off and I can pay off the Courts if they ever catch me." Seiya explained bordering on begging. The man on the other line could decide to end his life at any point and he knew it.
On the other end of the line an exasperated sigh came out before Saphir started to explain the situation much like one would to a small child that was begging to have a second helping of dessert. "Let me put this in perspective. Thanks to your screw ups we lost one of our top people in Japan. We lost an entire team after the failed clean up at Doctor Chibi's apartment and their back ups. Even worse though our name is now out there. The American FBI branch that works with Interpol were the ones behind this entire operation. Before your massive screw ups they thought you were just selling these girls at random into the criminal underground. Now they know about us and I'm afraid that we can no longer count you as a member of the Dead Moon Circus."
"No wait! You can't do this! I've given so much to this organization. You can't cut me out!" Seiya practically screamed into the phone.
"Goodbye Mr. Seiya Kou. I hope your next life has a happier ending for you." Saphir stated over the phone before the line went dead.
"Next life?" Seiya murmured before he went rigid. The cold barrel of a gun was placed against his head by the flight attendant who stood there in front of him still smiling that damned fake smile.
"Goodbye Mr. Kou. Mr. Saphir and the entire Dead Moon Circus send their thanks for all of the hard work and accomplishments you've achieved." The flight attendant's chipper voice belayed the gravity of the situation. Seiya only had a moment to regret the decisions that brought him here before there was a loud bang that echoed throughout the entire jet. The bullet passed through his head and into the seat behind him. The man once known as Seiya Kou slumped over to the side dead before ever reaching cruising altitude.
"It's all finished Mr. Saphir." The flight attendant reported seemingly to no one until a man walked in from another room on the jet. A small smile crossing his face to see the thorn in the Black Moon Circus's side dealt with in such a fitting way. He turned to the young assassin he had hired for the job. "Excellent work expect the money in your account by the time we land. The Dead Moon Circus shall handle it from here."
The moment the deed was done the plane banked away from the intended destination of mainland China and entered a new course toward Hong Kong. The jet would return to the Dead Moon's base of operations and receive a thorough cleaning.
Saphir stood there a moment longer looking down on the dead body of one of their better pipelines for product. The Dead Moon Circus would carry on just like it always did. There would be ten more people to replace Seiya and they hopefully wouldn't ask for so much in return.
Without further comment Saphir walked back to his seat. The coppery smell was already wafting throughout the small cabin of the jet. While most people found the smell sickening he couldn't help but be reminded of home. With a satisfied smile he took a seat and began preparations for taking the Dead Moon Circus back underground until the heat died off. It had happened before and it would happen again. In the end they may lose some members but they would survive and that is all that mattered.
A/N: Again hopefully everyone enjoyed Seiya's fate. I should have the rest of the chapter up as early as tonight.
Lifezeros: Thank you for reviewing I am in the process of wrapping it up so I hope you enjoy.
Guest: Thanks I'm glad to finally finish a story. It only took me a little over a decade…well longer really but who's counting am I right?
