Hinata yawned softly as she snuggled up on her bed. It was nice to be able to sleep in after a great date with Naruto. Rubbing her eyes, the young woman buried her face in her pillow as she tried to get herself to calm down though she couldn't. Naruto was just such an amazing boyfriend, though his words reached her heart. Oh how much she wished that she could help him… though, she didn't think that would happen.

Naruto was a vampire, and he was unhappy with what he was. If only there was some way to turn him back though she didn't know if that was possible at this point. Some of the vampire facts that she knew her whole life, well some of them had been proven wrong. There was no way of knowing if staking a vampire that turned him would be enough…

There had to be more to this than meets the eye right? Whatever it was, she'll find out and make sure that she can save Naruto, and have him be a human again. Though that was going to be a tough thing for her to do but it would be worth it so long as Naruto could be happy.

Sighing softly, Hinata just buried her face more in her pillow as she tried to get the idea out of her head, at least for now. Running a hand through her blue locks, the young woman thought that maybe she should keep this a secret from Naruto, at least for now. At the moment, she had to get herself ready for work. No matter how much she didn't want to go, she knew that she had to get ready so she could earn some money for bills and what not.

As she dragged herself out of bed, Hinata made her way to the bathroom and stripped down after she turned on the water. She let out a sharp gasp from how cold the water was and whined forgetting to turn on the hot water. Taking a deep breath, Hinata adjusted the heat and sighed softly when the water started to warm up a bit.

Grabbing her shampoo, Hinata tried to get herself to calm down as she lathered up her hair, wondering what kind of life she and Naruto would have. It wouldn't be possible for her and Naruto to have children; it wouldn't be possible for them to stay in one place if she stayed with Naruto because he never aged. Unless his charm could make him look older if they were to go out but, would that be strong enough? Sighing softly, Hinata ran her fingers through the soapy strands of her hair making sure that she had her hair washed thoroughly before she would start to wash her body.

"Naruto, I hope that I can be the light that you see me as… I just wish that I could do more for you," said Hinata with a soft frown gracing her lips.

Shaking her head a little, Hinata tilted her head back and ran her fingers through her hair as the water washed out the shampoo from her blue locks. The young woman closed her eyes as she pictured herself in the future, an old woman still dating a young Naruto, his face is happy, but sad knowing that he would far out live her. Hinata frowned as she felt tears filling her eyes. She knew that Naruto would kill himself to join her but… could she really deal with that?

Could she be happy knowing that the man she loves would end his life just so he could be with her instead of waiting for another person to love? Then again, maybe he couldn't handle it again… Naruto had told her time and again that he didn't think he would love again when his last lover didn't really love him as much as he loved her… She had been the only one, to have loved him as much as he loved her and, that only comes in once in a life time.

Running her hand through her hair, the young woman felt that her hair was now shampoo free and had started to wash her body in her vanilla scented soap. Now that she thought about it, Hinata never did figure out how Naruto got his memories back… maybe she should ask him later though she thought that maybe it would be something that she wouldn't understand. Ah well, she'll ask him tonight when she gets off of work. At least that way he'll be fully awake and they can just cuddle for the time being.

Shaking her head, Hinata lathered up her body with the lovely scented soap as she tried to think on what she could do with Naruto. Maybe they could just go for a walk around the forest, or even just cuddle up on a bench.

Giggling softly, Hinata didn't mind what they did so long as they were together. Just thinking about it made her heart flutter in her chest as she giggled a little more. Life sure had been good to her so far, for right now it had brought her to her soul mate. Though, how long could this joy last? After all, nothing could be done if something caused them to part, or she should say force them to part.

Maybe that was just cruel fate for them.

Sighing softly, Hinata washed off the soap from her body and reached over for the towel as she wrapped it around her body, and folded the corner just under her arm before walking over to the mirror. Reaching for another towel, the young woman started to dry her hair with a towel while in deep thought. Maybe at work, she could sing another song though that was going to be difficult for her to choose from.

So many songs went through her mind though it seemed that no matter what, she just couldn't decide on what kind of song she could decide on. Maybe if she was lucky, work would be easy for her… at least compared to how her life had been lately. Shaking her head, Hinata set the towel down on the counter and grabbed her hair brush before she started to brush the slightly wet locks.

Soon, her phone started to ring, causing Hinata to frown before making her way to her bedroom and grabbed her phone, thinking that maybe her boss decided to have her come in a little earlier than she had wanted. Checking the caller I.D, Hinata smiled a bit when she saw that it was only Sakura. Smiling more, Hinata answered as she said "hey Sakura."

"Hey Hinata, I was wondering if we could walk to work together today? I… um… I need someone to talk too about Sasuke." That made Hinata frown a bit. Sakura needed someone to talk to her about Sasuke? That made no sense to her though for the time being, it was going to take a bit for her to adjust. Taking a deep breath, Hinata told Sakura to come on over, that she was going to be a few minutes anyway so she could finish getting herself ready.

Ending the call, Hinata started to get herself dressed. Grabbing her uniform and slipping that on, the young woman started to tie her hair back as she wondered what kind of problem that Sakura was having with Sasuke. There was no way that he would want to break up with her; it was easy to see that the two of them were so deeply in love with each other.

Taking a deep breath looked herself over in the mirror. Wanting to make sure that she was presentable for work and that she didn't have any loose strands of her hair fall off and land in the people's food or drinks. Seeing that she looked okay enough for work, the young woman smiled her bright smile at the mirror before she grabbed her purse and her cell phone. After that, she went to the door just in time to see that Sakura was waiting for her, and just so happen to have been ready to knock on the door.

"So, what did you wanna talk about?" asked Hinata as she and Sakura started to walk down the street. Sakura of course, seemed sad and almost quite. It was rather odd that she wouldn't say anything though maybe Sakura was trying to place her words in the right order or something. Tilting her head to the side, Hinata frowned a little as she placed a hand on the pink haired woman's shoulder. "You know you can tell me anything right?"

Sakura turned to look at Hinata for a moment before she looked away and sighed sadly. "Sasuke has avoided me for a few days now, every time I call to make plans, he says that he's busy and can't make it. That something else came up and that has me worried that he doesn't love me anymore." Hinata frowned a bit, okay that was a bit odd though she knew that he still loved her. Nothing would break a love that strong and she knew that better than anyone.

Hinata crossed her arms in deep thought as she tried to think of why Sasuke would avoid Sakura like he had been. The only thing she could think of was that maybe he wanted to propose to Sakura, though wasn't sure if that was really the case. Turning her head toward the pink haired woman as she said "well Sakura, I may have an idea but… tell me this, how long have you and Sasuke been dating?"

Sakura just blinked her green eyes at Hinata as if she grew a second head then frowned in confusion for a moment as if she was in deep thought. If it had to take her a while to think, maybe they had dated for a long time. The longer someone dated the more of a chance that someone was either gonna break up with them, or the guy wanted to marry his girl.

Hinata just smiled as she said "I don't think you'll have anything to worry about Sakura. I get the feeling that you'll be very happy with what Sasuke has in store." She giggled a little before patting the girl's shoulder and kept on walking down the street.

It sure was a beautiful day that was for sure. Maybe someday, she and Naruto could enjoy a day like this… though of course he would have to wear his protection charm or he would burn into a crisp. Frowning a bit, Hinata wondered if it would be safe to let Sakura know about Naruto but then… she frowned a bit and sighed softly before she thought that maybe it was best to keep Naruto to herself for now.

"So Hinata, how come you don't have a boyfriend?" asked Sakura as she stared at the blue haired girl. Hinata blinked as she looked over at the green eyed woman. Okay, she figured that was going to happen at some point. "Think about it Hinata, you are a beautiful woman and yet you don't have a boyfriend! It just doesn't make sense…"

Hinata gave a small smile as she said "I do have a boyfriend." Okay, she could at least say that, just wouldn't say who her boyfriend was or she should say, her lover. Taking a deep breath, the young woman kept on walking down the street as she listened to Sakura, and of course answering all the questions that came with her. Such as how long had she had a boyfriend, when did they meet, did he kiss her, and of course if they had sex. The last part made her blush darkly since she hadn't really thought of it to be honest at least not yet.

"I haven't thought of sex no… he's a bit old fashioned but that's one of the things I like about him." Said Hinata, which in a way was true. Since Naruto was from an older time, he believed in the whole 'waiting until marriage'. Which, of course she didn't mind all that much. Taking a deep breath, Hinata stretched her arms above her head as she thought that maybe it would be weird to have sex with a vampire but… Naruto was still… okay why the hell was she still thinking about this?!

Shaking her head, Hinata tried to forget about her problems for the time being and just hurry up and get on to work to get the day over with. Though, of course Sakura just kept going on and on about wondering if she would ever meet her boyfriend, though Hinata of course would keep saying no. That her boyfriend wouldn't want anyone knowing about him because of persona issues.

Suddenly, Hinata felt someone grab a hold of her. Hinata let out a loud scream and tried to break free. "Hinata!" shouted Sakura as she tried to reach for Hinata only for someone to grab a hold of her as well. The young woman looked over at Sakura and stared with wide eyes at what she was seeing. Holding Sakura was someone that she never expected to see with this crowd.

Hinata just stared at the woman with wide eyes before saying "Mia?! But why!?" This didn't make any sense, why was her supervisor holding onto Sakura like she was going to be held prisoner? That didn't make sense and yet the proof was right in front of her eyes.

Mia on the other hand just smirked while her arm was both around Sakura's shoulders, and her waist. Sakura of course looked scared out of her mind, and she didn't blame her for it. Looking up a little more, Mia smirked a little more revealing what Hinata had been, in a manner of speaking, shocked. For Mia was sporting a pair of razor sharp fangs. Mia was a vampire!? The hell!?

"I had warned you to stay away from Naruto… but you did not heed my warning… Now, you will pay the price, as will Sakura here." Laughed Mia, after that Hinata saw nothing but darkness.

Naruto yawned softly as he rubbed is eyes. Damn it, of all the times he couldn't sleep it had to be today? Sure, Hinata was gonna come over on her lunch break but damn it. Why was it that he couldn't sleep? Hm… now that he thinks about it, he has been feeling rather off. Like a weird chill would go up his spine telling him of some kind of danger.

Shaking his head, the young man just shook his head, thinking that maybe he was just imagining things right at that moment and that he was just over thinking things right now. Rubbing the back of his head, Naruto walked over toward the spare room thinking that maybe he could fix up the room a little to use as Hinata's room for when she would have to stay over when it got too late for her to walk. Though he would also have to make sure that he could block out the windows as well in case he wanted to cuddle with the blue haired woman.

Looking out at the window, Naruto was thankful that he was away from the sun's rays, at least until he could get his protective charm on. Frowning, Naruto grabbed at his head as he frowned a little. Why did he feel like something was wrong?

Grabbing at his hair, Naruto tried to get himself to calm down, to relax, though it seemed that the weird feeling of danger and fear was going through his body was even stronger. "Damn it, what the hell is wrong with me?" said Naruto as he tried to get himself to relax but the feeling that was deep within him kept on growing stronger and stronger.

Taking a deep breath, Naruto leaned against the wall as he tried to ignore it, to pretend that he was just imagining the whole thing. That it was just something in his head to get him through the day until Hinata would come to his home.

"Naruto, you okay?" asked Kurama as he made his way toward the blonde vampire.

Naruto looked over at Kurama and blinked at him slowly for a moment. As if he didn't know that he was really there for, it seemed that Naruto was losing himself to the weird fear that was swelling deep inside of his chest.

Soon, Naruto's vision was covered by darkness, and Naruto found himself to be in a warehouse which of course was a little confusing.

Now, Naruto didn't know why he was there but he figured that it was something important. Narrowing his eyes, he looked around and gasped when he saw a pink haired woman. He remembered her from that 'double date' that Hinata was on once though was rather confused as to why she was tied up. Turning his gaze, Naruto looked over and stared with wide eyes as to why he saw Hinata there.

"No!" shouted Naruto. Getting a better look around, he tried to think on where the girls were. Whatever was going on, it was horrifying and figured that because he still had Hinata's blood in his system, that he could sense when she was scared and afraid. Not to mention, pretty much see what she saw and it had him even more confused on that but he didn't dare comment on it.

"So, tell me where Naruto is." Said a female voice, causing Naruto to turn his gaze and froze for a second. It couldn't be could it? No, she was dead! He saw her body damn it! But he couldn't deny it, it was her. The black hair, the white eyes… It was his past lover but, how was she alive? He never turned her, Naruto knew for a fact that he had killed her all those years ago unless… something else had happened… He didn't know…

"No! I won't tell you where he is! Why are you so interested in him anyway Mia?!" shouted Hinata with a glare of her own. Naruto almost wanted to cheer her on for that stare though right now wasn't the time for that.

Mia just laughed as she said "because, I have a little pay back to give him. Naruto wanted me to be a vampire and now I am." She just smirked a little, showing her sparkling white fangs. Was it possible that she turned evil or was it just him?

Hinata frowned a little as she said "you were his last lover weren't you?" The way she had said it, it made Naruto's heart want to shatter. She felt so sad seeing his past lover and now Hinata felt like he would go back to her. No, Naruto knew that he would never go back to Mia, though… if Mia had been here in the mortal world; it was amazing that she kept her old name from when she was alive.

Mia though, she just smiled as she said "I was. Though it was a one sided love. Naruto loved me but I only loved the power that he held within his body. When he said that he was going to turn me, I saw that he didn't drink human blood, which would give him more power. That was when I met my true love, Kuro…" Naruto's eyes widened in shock when he heard her say that. She only loved him for his power?! That bitch!

"Kuro turned me into a vampire, though gave me this charm to make me look and feel like a human so I could trick Naruto… and have him join Kuro out of desperation. But no, Naruto found another person to confine in… and lived away from his kind. We had all thought that he was dead… until I saw that locket you brought out of the mansion."

Naruto narrowed his eyes and turned his gaze to Hinata. He saw the shock written all over her face. Damn it, this was his fault, if he hadn't given Hinata that locket then she wouldn't be in danger right now. Well, he was going to have to make this right, he would have to find a way to get to Hinata, to find where she was and get to her before it was too late. Though that may be easier said than done since so far he didn't know what to do… or how to find her.

"You're a monster! Naruto loved you and you just used him! Naruto is a great guy and you were lucky to have his love and you just threw it into the ground because of him not being as powerful as Kuro!? You're a… a… a fucking bitch!" Wow, Naruto hadn't expected Hinata to curse like that but he cheered her on either way. Suddenly Naruto saw Mia whip out her hand and slapped Hinata across the face. Her nails, sharp as they were, had managed to cut Hinata's face a little, but that amount of blood was enough for Naruto to smell anywhere.

Narrowing his eyes, Naruto knew that Mia would pay; she would pay with her life for what she did to Hinata. "Don't worry Hinata, I'll save you…" After that, he started to leave the warehouse, though he knew what was to happen. He was going to find Hinata and save her and of course her pink haired friend.

Naruto's eyes snapped open before he jumped up onto his feet and ran toward his coffin. Everything was nothing but a blur to him but at the moment he didn't give a shit. All he cared about was Hinata; he had to save her before it was too late. There was no telling what Kuro was going to do to Hinata and her friend. But he had a damn good idea, vampires that were turned had always been turned evil, Naruto though had been the lucky one.

He had been lucky enough to retain most of his personality and now he had to use that to his advantage. At least he wasn't hot headed enough to give into what his own problems were. At least not as often, he didn't get his problems cause him to go head first into battle without a plan. Well, not a smart plan. Ah screw it, he didn't really have a plan at the moment, all he had was to go in, kick ass, and save the girls.

Growling, Naruto grabbed his necklace and slipped it on before he rushed out of the house at top speed. Speed that would put a cheetah to shame. Now that he thought about it, he was much faster than he's been in a long time, must have been from Hinata's blood. That had been the only source of human blood that he's had in a very long time and now it was time to put that energy to good use.

Narrowing his now red eyes, Naruto pumped his legs to push him even faster and faster. He had to hurry; he could feel Hinata's fear. In fact, it had been so strong that he could taste it. 'Hold on Hinata, just hold on. I'm coming to save you no matter what!' thought Naruto as he ran even faster and faster. The thought of losing Hinata, it made fear grip its icy grasp over his heart even though that heart had stopped beating after so many years.

Now though, in a way it had been brought back to life thanks to Hinata. Her love for him, it had been enough to in a way bring him back to life and he wasn't going to lose her. Not ever! "Hinata!" shouted Naruto as he kicked down the door. He didn't know how long he had been running for, though he had a feeling that it hadn't been that long at all. The scent of Hinata's blood had been his trail, hell he hadn't even known that he had been following it even though that had also been his plan.

Growling a dark and menacing growl in his throat, he narrowed his eyes as he said "let them go Kuro, this is between you and me!" You could easily tell that Naruto was pissed. His anger, his rage was so powerful, and smothering that it could choke and take the breath right out of you. A tall man walked out of the shadows, still wearing the same clothes that Naruto saw him wearing all those years ago.

He hadn't changed a bit, though it made Naruto growl all the more when he saw him. Kuro just clapped his hands as he walked over toward Naruto only to stop by Hinata, who of course was still tied down to a chair. No wait, the closer her saw he saw that her wrists were tied behind the chair and that her ankles had been tied up as well with rope. Tilting his head, the blonde vampire looked over at Kuro as he said "leave the girls out of this. This has nothing to do with them!"

"Now Naruto, it has everything to do with them. Well, mostly the blue haired woman. I know that you have fallen in love with her and well… I couldn't have that now could I?" Said Kuro with a cruel smile. Naruto knew that smile all too well; sometimes it still haunted his nightmares. Oh how Naruto wished that he could wipe that smug right off his face with a swipe of his claws but sadly, that wasn't going to happen either.

"Shut up! I would never join you! You all kill humans for kicks! I don't want to live a life like that!" shouted Naruto, looking ready to kill… only for Kuro to tug at Hinata's hair, hard, causing her to yelp out in pain causing Naruto to freeze in place. Damn it this fucker wasn't playing fair but then again… he's evil. "Leave her out of this!" shouted Naruto.

Kuro laughed before he brought his face closer to Hinata's neck. Smirking a little, he said "I see that you've fed from her… who would have thought. I thought that you wouldn't drink the blood of humans anymore Naruto, that you were 'too good for human blood' and so forth."

"Hinata offered me her blood… I didn't take it by force. Now what do you want…"

Kuro smirked all the more before he moved himself a little further away from Hinata. Naruto turned his stare to Hinata for a moment, seeing that she was scared. He gave her a small smile, as if telling her that everything will be fine. That he was going to get her and her pink haired friend out of this situation no matter the cost. Soon, his calm gaze went hard when he stared at Kuro, waiting to know what the price for the girl's freedom was.

"Join me… or I kill the girls, starting with the blue haired woman."
