I know it's been a Long time, but eventually, here's a new chapter. :) I hope someone still reads this... :D

Sam got Emily and herself ready, pullin Freddie's huge shirt off of her little body.

She smiled mildly as his scent came to her nose. Lemon and cinnamon. Yum. She had always liked the nub's scent. Well, since he started wearing that lemony cologne. Not the terrible Randy Jackson-thing. Ugh.

The blonde helped the little girl put on her beautiful dress - although Sam would never have worn it when she was little, it still suited Emily.

Freddie emerged from the bathroom and put his shirt back on.

"Thank you, princess," he said to Emily, "Did you sleep well?"

Emily nodded and smiled up at him.

Freddie was mesmerized by those joyful brown eyes sparkling up at him. She was so small, so fragile and this whole incident with aliens running around town, killing people - murderhin her mother! - and she was still that happy and gentle. She was an amazing girl. She reminded him of... Sam.

Sam.

The girl that had caused him both physical and emotional pain. The girl that was tougher than any boy or man he had ever known. The girl that had been his first kiss. His best friend. The girl who was no girl anymore. The girl who had stopped being a girl two years ago, which he hadn't noticed. She was the girl he was in love with and he hadn't noticed she had become a women. A women who took responsibility for her actions and those of her subordinates. She had grown up.

Freddie watched her as she took Emily to the bathroom, brushing her teeth with her - where did she get the toothbrush from!? - and playing a little clapping game with her - this time it was an actual clapping game, not a slapping game as she used to play with him. Those two were amazing. They had faced so many bad things in their lives, still they acted so kind and warm towards the people they trusted and loved.

He had a dreamy smile still plastered on his face, when Sam picked Emily up and faced him, a smirk on her face.

"What are you looking at, Frednub?"

Freddie shook his head and focused on her face.
"N-Nothing." He stuttered.

Sam was about to open her mouth to throw him a witty remark, when it banged on the door.

"Yoyo, Benson family! We need to get going!" It was Spencer.

Sam raised an eyebrow, she and Freddie looked at each other awkwardly.

"I'll get the bags." Freddie said and jumped for his and the blonde's backpacks.

Sam opened the door, Emily still on her arm, she roared at Spencer : "WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL US?! YOU WANNA DIE?!"

"WHEEEP!" Spencer jumped several feet into the air and then ran to hide behind his sister who was laughing hysterically at the scene taking place.

"I don't see how that is funny." Freddie said as he emerged from their hotel room behind Sam.

Carly hiccuped several more times before saying: "O-Okay, let's- let's go, we're not far from headquarters."

The others nodded and began to travel downstairs and into the field of destruction.

As they were within 500m-range of the hidden entrance to headquarters, Carly and Sam got more and more nervous. They checked their surroundings over and over again, nobody was allowed to see them. Carly and Sam sat in an entrance to a skyscraper, while the others were hiding a few hundred metres down the road, hidden in a dark passageway. The two Special Agents needed to be at least that close for HQ to scan their surroundings.

TD appr - Check Surr.

Carly typed into her little mailbox. 'TD Approaching - Check Surroundings', only if there was a positive response they would be able to enter HQ.

"What do you think?" Carly asked Sam.

"About what?"

"Are they gonna let us in?"

"They better. We've got a child and a wounded." Sam sighed.

Carly's box vibrated.

Safe.

"Great, Sam, we're safe, we can go in!" Carly smiled.

"I'll give the others the sign." Sam nodded.

She stood up and waved in the direction where Spencer and the others were hidden. After a few seconds they emerged from the passageway, running towards them.

They met at the hidden entrance. Sam pressed the button.

"Identification." The voice said.

"Special Agent Puckett, Samantha, identification number 2018F83GBH-3."

"Special Agent Shay, Carly, identification number 20D834KL50-2."

"Identity secured." The voice said and a little camera appeared out of the wall. "Please look into the camera, you know the procedure."

First Carly, then Sam lowered themselves and looked closely at the camera. The little light at the side went from red to green.

"There are other agents and two unidentified beings with you."

"Temporary Agents Benson, Shay and Gibson. Furthermore there are two survivors of the attack." Carly said.

"Everyone, please look into the camera."

One by one they got checked, if they were aliens via iris-control and again and again the lamp turned green.

"Thank you. Please enter." The speaker said and went mute.

The building opened and they hurried in.

The elevator took them down.

"Where are we going?" Emily whispered into Freddie's ear.

"We're going under the earth, there's a secret place where you'll be safe, Sweetie." He whispered back.

As they emerged from the elevator Major Morris and some other agents stood there waiting for him.

"It's good to have you back, TD." Major Morris said and nodded at them.

"Thank you, Major." Sam said and Carly nodded.

"I await your reports in my office in an hour. What do you need now?"

"We have one wounded and a little girl, with no relations, as far as we know." Carly reported firmly. "Socko," she pointed at him. "He's got a broken leg, it needs to be treated properly. The girl, Emily will need psychological care, we think she hasn't see too much, but she found her mother's body on the streets."

Morris looked at them and nodded. Then he started barking orders to the other agents.

"Get some rest, Temporary Agents." He said.

"Sir-" Freddie started, but Sam beat him.

"Sir, I'd like to take the girl with me until we've found someone to take care of her."

"You will leave again in about 12 hours, Puckett."

"I know that. It's just- I- I've taken care of her since we've found her a few days ago. I don't think it's wise to pull her away from the ones she'd learned to trust that harshly." Sam straightened her back.

Morris thought for a moment, then he nodded.

"Fine, Puckett, but if you neglect your duties, I'll kick your ass."

"Yes, Sir, thank you, Sir." Sam smiled at him.

"Now find your rooms and get some rest, but don't forget medical checkup. Dismissed." Morris said.

Two Medical Agents walked towards Socko, Spencer and Gibby and took Socko into their care, Spencer walked after them, saying that he didn't want to leave his buddy alone.

Another MA approached Freddie to take Emily.

"It's okay, Jeff, I'll bring her up to MedCare, after she's eaten." Sam said, Jeff nodded and left after his collegues.

Sam sighed. She looked around, still a hand full of agents were standing around them, some she recognized, some she didn't.

"Good to have you back, TD."

"How's it going out there?"

"Are you hurt?"

"FREDDIE!"

"You're the TD? Wow!"

"How did it go?"

Sam frowned. Wasn't there a 'FREDDIE'-yell? She listened closer.

"FREDDIE!"

There it was again! She wasn't imagining things, although she wish she was, when she recognized the voice's owner.

Sam gulped and slowly turned.

Of course, she was right. Mrs. Benson came pushing through the little crowd, Melanie right behind her and - Pam Puckett.

"MOM!" Sam yelled in surprise and heard her yell being echoed by Freddie's.

"Hello, Sam." Pam said and came to a halt before her daughter, Melanie jumped at her sister and hugged her tightly.

"Mom, what are you doing here?" Sam asked dumbfounded.

"Well, obviously, someone saved me, who played out to be Melanie's boyfriend. A nice boy, I must say." Pam answered.

Sam hugged her mother. "I'm so glad you're safe."

Pam looked a little overstrained, but slowly put her arms around her older daughter.

"Well, I'm glad you're safe, too."

Melanie smiled and joined the hug.

"Awwww." Carly said from behind as she watched the Puckett family reunion. Those three were such a weird family. Even weirder than her own - and that meant something, she had Spencer as her brother after all!

The brunette turned, expecting to see Mrs. Benson hugging Freddie to death.

But Mrs. Benson stood still. She was about three steps away from Freddie and stared at him.

"Mom? Mom are you alright?" Freddie asked worriedly. His mother hadn't said one word.

"Helloooo? Mom, are you in there?" He waved his hand.

"FREDWARD BENSON!" She suddenly exploded, making all the bystanders jump. The Pucketts jumped apart.

"DID YOU KNOCK UP SAMANTHA?!"

Silence. Shocked, shocked silence.

Freddie's mouth hang open, his eyes wide.

"Huh?" Was all he managed to say.

"This girl on your arm! Don't tell me you knocked up Samantha and are a father by now!" Mrs. Benson screeched. She seemed close to a nervous breakdown.

Carly could see Freddie and Sam furrow their eyebrows in unison.

Freddie looked to Emily on his arm, who was trying to hide her face in his neck from the scary woman, only peaking out between a tiny hole between Freddie's skin and Mr. Noodles arm.

"Hey, listen, Crazy." Pam Puckett suddenly spoke up. Carly thought it was beyond funny, that mother and daughter automatically used the same terms when it came to Mrs. Benson.

"If you're saying my daughter's a slut, then prepare for battle, woman!" Pam barked at the slightly shocked Mrs. Benson.

"Easy, Mom." Sam laid a hand on her mothers arm and stepped past her. "Mrs. Benson, what do you thing I am? Some hyper-genetic, lightning speed incubator? It's been what? Two weeks at most since you last saw me. Did I ever look pregnant to you before? And don't you dare say yes now!" Sam snarled.

"Yeah, Mom. This is Emily, we found her a few days ago in her apartment. I didn't knock Sam up or anything like that." Freddie seemed to have woken up from his trance.

Mrs. Benson furrowed her brows. "You better not, son."

Sam sighed.

"Well, I'm starving," She stepped over to Freddie and took Emily from his arms. "What do you say, Em, you want to go eat something?"

Emily nodded shyly, obviously still scared by Mrs. Benson's outburst.

"TD, your coming?" She winked at Carly who nodded. "Mom? Mel?"

And with that Sam started off, leading a caravane of hungry people to the dining hall, leaving Freddie and Mrs. Benson as the crowd around them slowly cascaded.

"Mom, are you alright?" Freddie had stepped closer to his mother. She was staring after Sam and the others. Freddie touched her shoulder and she jumped back into action, throwing her arms around her only son.

"Ohhhh Fredward, my little Freddiebear, I'm so happy you're alive! How are you? Are you hurt? Where have you been? Did Samantha do something to you? She promised me she wouldn't! She-"

"Mom, mom, mom! Calm down! I'm alright. Sam didn't do anything to me. Come on, how about we get you a nice cup of tea and then I'll explain everything and you can tell me what happened to you."

Mrs. Benson nodded and went with her son. Freddie sighed. His mother sure wasn't easy to handle.
