A/N Hallo! Back again with a new chapter! Hope you enjoy!

Chapter Twelve

"Dragons?" Ron asked, raising an eyebrow. He looked at Harry meaningfully, "You mean, you might have found one from Earthland?"

Harry nodded, "I'm not too sure though, so don't get your hopes up. But last night, I'm pretty sure I saw an Ice Dragon's Roar."

Ron grinned, "Sure! That'd be awesome."

"I just wonder how that dragon got here," Harry admitted curiously. "Unless he had a Spatial Dragon with him."

"We can ask him today," Ron said. "Let's go eat breakfast first."

"Yeah," Harry said, as they walked outside.

After breakfast, the four of them wandered off to where the dragons were kept. "Do you really think it's a dragon from Earthland?" George asked dubiously.

Harry worried his lip, "I really hope so! This could be a once in a lifetime opportunity! Dragons are gone in Earthland."

They wandered past dozens of dragons, peering at each one. "Where could that one be?" Harry grumbled, using his hand to shield the noon sun.

"How do you know he's not one of these dragons?" Ron asked, waving at the other dragons.

Harry gave him a look, "Of course I can tell! Their magic is different from Earthland's." He stopped at seeing a pale blue dragon with white markings around its eyes. He looked at the dragon, "Is it you? Are you from Earthland?"

The dragon's eyes flashed, and he dipped his head, looking at them. "Earthland," he rumbled. "It has been centuries since I've heard that name. Who are you? How do you know of Earthland?"

Harry bowed humbly, "I am from Earthland. I arrived here through a battle with an enemy. He had Spatial Magic, and was able to transport me to this world. O great dragon, can you tell us how you came here?"

The dragon exhaled, a few vapors escaping his snout, "It all began with the war between dragons and humans. There were some dragons who hated the humans who seemed to be usurping the dragons' spot as the rulers of the world. They wanted to destroy the humans, but there were other dragons who loved humans. Those dragons decided to teach certain humans a magic that would be able to slay dragons."

"Dragon Slaying Magic?" Harry asked.

The dragon nodded, "And then there was this one dragon slayer who learn Soul Dragon Slaying Magic. He had the power to take away a dragon's soul. His name is Acnologia."

"What?!" Fred and George exclaimed. "I thought he was just a dragon! How can a Dragon Slayer become a dragon?"

"When a Dragon Slayer uses his or her magic to a certain extent, they start to become a dragon themselves," the dragon explained. He continued recounting his story, "Acnologia started massacring all the dragons. I was lucky enough to escape because of a dear friend. However, that dear friend was unable to prevent his soul from being taken by Acnologia." The dragon's expression was sad, "So for the last four centuries I was stuck here alone." He looked at them, "So what has happened in Earthland? Is Acnologia still alive? What of Zeref?"

"Acnologia is still alive. No one knows where he is, but people say that he attacked this island a few months ago. The people on that island haven't been seen since," Harry said. "Zeref is somewhere, but he's also alive." He looked at the dragon, "Will you teach me Ice Dragon Slaying Magic?"

The dragon raised an eyebrow, or at least it seemed like he did… "Now why should I? There's no guarantee you won't become just like Acnologia."

"Because I'll promise on my magic that I'll do anything I can to bring down Acnologia," Harry said boldly.

The dragon was silent for a few seconds, and then he said, "However, it seems that you have three magics already."

"Isn't there something you can do? Ice Make could be a subunit of this, and Spatial Magic… Can't you seal it?" Harry wondered.

The dragon looked pensive. "Okay. I will seal your Spatial Magic, and I will teach you Ice Dragon Slaying Magic. You must make the promise first."

Harry smiled, and invoked his magic, "I, Harry Potter, have decided that should I not participate in the downfall of the Soul Dragon Slayer, Acnologia, I shall forfeit my magic." A flash of white light blinded them, and after it cleared, a new dragon-shaped mark adorned Harry's wrist.

The dragon grinned, "I am Freetalsen, the Ice Dragon! And I will teach you Ice Dragon Slaying Magic. I will teach you how to destroy Acnologia. Come closer, boy."

Harry walked up to the cage Freetalsen was in, excitement and slight fear curling in his belly. Freetalsen reached a claw through the bars of the cage, ignoring the fact that he dented and crushed some of them. The claw lightly rested on Harry's forehead, right above the lightning scar. "Magic known, magic used, this wizard shall no longer use you." When he withdrew his claw, it was as if he was drawing out the Spatial magic from Harry. A stream of swirling space emerged from the boy, and Harry gritted his teeth when he felt the lack of the ability to use Spatial Magic. He fell to the ground, curling in on himself, trying to adjust to the sudden sealing.

"Harry!" Ron rushed forward, worried.

The dragon stopped him, "Do not come any closer. Your friend is stabilizing his magic right now. If you get too close, it might further disrupt him. Don't worry, he'll be fine."

After Harry returned to the cabin, Ron, Fred and George, who had left before Harry was done, looked up from their Exploding Snap game. "Hey, Harry, how'd the training go?"

Harry slumped onto the bed, "We're not doing anything yet. He's having me write down all the things he needs to teach me, so when we go back to Hogwarts, I can still learn." He held up a notebook, "My hand's killing me! Who knew there were so much detail to each technique?"

"Well, we have about a month left, so that's plenty of time to learn, right?" Ron said optimistically.

Harry scrunched up his nose, trying to get it to stop itching, "Well, with that much detail to each technique, I'm guessing I need at least a week for each one…"

"Wow, I can't believe we actually met a real dragon from Earthland!" Harry said dreamily. "This is amazing…"

Fred snorted, "Chill, mate. Want to play?"

Harry looked at their game, and nodded eagerly, "Sure! Need to relax…"

So they settled down and played Exploding Snap for the rest of the afternoon.

Harry was alone in Ron and his room, sitting at the edge of his bed. He was reading over the notes he had taken on Ice Dragon Roar. "This is so hard," he grumbled, leaning back onto the bedcovers.

Suddenly, a loud CRACK! sounded across the room. Harry jumped up, startled and body tense. He blinked at the small, grey creature hunched over in the middle of the room. "Um, who are you?" he asked, hands still joined together, ready to defend himself if necessary,

The creature pulled at its long bat like ears, "I is Dobby!" Harry cringed at the grammar, but nodded for the creature to continue. Dobby looked at Harry seriously, "Mr. Harry Potter sir mustn't go back to Hogwarts! There is a great danger there!"

Harry's eyes narrowed, "What do you mean? What danger?"

"Dobby mustn't say, but Harry Potter sir must not go back!" the creature said loudly and frantically. He looked desperate, his yellow eyes large and swimming with tears. "Great danger is there!"

"Thanks for the warning, Dobby," Harry said slowly, still blinking at the strange looking creature. "But I can handle myself. Also, my friends need me there."

"Harry Potter sir is a great wizard! Such a great wizard! But Harry Potter sir mustn't go back! Mustn't!" Dobby pleaded.

Harry smiled softly, "It's ok. I can protect myself. I defeated Quirrell, who hosted Voldemort's shade."

Dobby clasped his hands together, "Harry Potter sir is indeed noble and great!" The elf looked reluctant, but relented, "Dobby hopes Harry Potter sir will be safe."

Harry nodded, "Don't worry. I will be." The elf nodded once, and then disappeared with a crack.

So, at the end of the month, Harry's got Ice Dragon Roar, Fist, Claw Attack and Wing Attack down. Now they're back on the Hogwarts Express.

"Harry! Ron! Fred! George!" Hermione squealed, running towards them. Harry caught her in a hug, and the other three Weasleys gather around them in a group hug. "How was the reserve? Were the dragons big? I wish I could've went!"

"Actually," Harry exchanged glances with Ron, George and Fred. They all grinned, "It was even more amazing than any of us would've thought. let's wait for Draco to get here before we tell you."

Hermione blinked, but nodded, "Ok! Let's go find a compartment then!"

They sat down in an empty compartment, and waited for Draco while making small talk.

When the door opened, Draco walked in, carrying his luggage. "Harry, Ron, Fred and George! How was the dragon reserve?"

"It was terrific," Harry said gleefully. He grinned at the Weasleys, "So, when we first got there, we made a schedule for training."

"Of course you did," Draco muttered, smiling.

Harry grinned even wider, and he continued his story. Hermione's eyes were wide, "Wait, so you guys met an actual dragon from Earthland?"

"Yup!"

"And he taught you Ice Dragon Slaying Magic?" Hermione's eyes were about to burst out of her head. The intensely curious shine in them was familiar. "I wish I was able to go! That must've been so cool!"

"It was really cool," Ron agreed. "He taught us a lot about Earthland's history. With the wars between the dragons and the humans, Zeref and Acnologia."

Hermione pouted, "I'm so jealous!"

"Harry, what about your Spatial Magic? Isn't four magics too many?" Draco asked worriedly.

Harry suddenly looked sheepish, "Oh right… Hermione? Could you possibly Memorize the spell to get us to Earthland? I had the dragon seal my Spatial Magic in return for the Ice Dragon Slaying Magic. He left Ice Make, because Ice Make's really similar to the Ice Dragon Slaying."

Hermione nodded, "Sure thing!"

Ron grinned, "Oh yeah, we figured out that we really need someone who knows Healing Magic. After each practice, we'd be really banged up. And Fred and George are not reliable healers." He glared at the twins, who snickered at him. "Breaking my nose rather than healing it is not funny!"

Draco hid a smile, but volunteered himself, "I can learn Healing Magic."

Ron blinked at him, and then groaned, "I'd rather do it myself…"

"Two healers won't hurt," Harry agreed, smiling. "Better safe than sorry."

Hermione looked at Harry expectantly, "Come on, Harry! Tell us what the dragon said about Earthland and all."

"Okay," Harry agreed, and told them about Acnologia and Earthland. "Acnologia is actually not a dragon. He's a Dragon Slayer."

"Wait, so Dragon Slayers can turn into dragons?" Hermione demanded, frowning. "How? Doesn't that mean you could turn into a dragon?"

"Dragon Slayers can turn into dragons if they use their magic to a certain extent. Freetalsen said that after I master the Secret Arts, I would start the transformation. Of course I can turn back into a human," Harry added hastily as Hermione's face turned into an expression of alarm.

Draco nodded appreciatively, "That's really awesome. Have you heard of the new Defense professor?"

"Oh, yeah, is it a fan of Lockhart? Had us buy so many of his books," Ron grumbled.

Hermione squealed, "Nope! It's Lockhart himself! Isn't that wonderful? I bet we're going to learn so much from him!"

"Um, who's Lockhart?" Harry asked, blinking in confusion.

"He's a wonderful man who's done so many heroic things! Read his books, Harry!" Hermione urged him.

Draco rolled his eyes, "He's a fraud, Hermione. I've told you that already! If you pay attention to the dates, you can see that some of them overlap!"

Hermione huffed at him, eyes narrowed in irritation, "Stop that, Draco! Mr. Lockhart is an honorable man! Just ask any other girl!"

Ron snorted, "Yeah, Mum would agree with you."

Harry just shrugged, "Whatever. I'm not going to have him as a professor. Even if he is a fraud, it doesn't matter to me."

"Lucky," Fred and George muttered enviously. Hermione glared at the boys, but didn't say anything.

Harry looked up as he remembered something suddenly, "Oh right! I just remembered something. When we were at the reserve, this house elf called Dobby-"

"Dobby?" Draco demanded, eyes narrowed. "With yellow eyes, batlike ears that he always likes to pull on?"

Harry blinked at him, "Wait, you know Dobby?"

"He's my house elf!" Draco exclaimed. He leaned forward, "What was Dobby talking about?"

"He said something about a great danger at Hogwarts this year," Harry said seriously. "Do you know what he's talking about?"

Draco frowned, "Not really, but I remember eavesdropping on a meeting between my father and Nott Sr. They were talking about a diary or something. They said it was from Voldemort."

Harry's eyes narrowed, "Dammit, can't we have a normal year?" He sighed, "Well, this doesn't bode well. We should tell Dumbledore and the Four."

"Of course we have to," Hermione said worriedly. She leaned back into her seat, "I can't believe this. Over a year ago, I would just be worrying about getting into a good university, but now… There's Voldemort, and Zeref and Acnologia over in Earthland." She smiled, "But it's strange that I still prefer this to my life before." She looked at the boys warmly, "At least now I have friends who care for me."

Draco set his hand on her shoulder comfortingly, "We can't let this get to us. We need to go back to Fairy Tail. They're waiting for us. We can't let them down."

They all nodded with determination. "For Fairy Tail."

After the welcoming feast in the Great Hall, they returned to their dorms where their luggage was already stored. They had informed Dumbledore of the diary and Dobby's warning, and agreed to keep an eye on the Nott heir.

Harry glanced over at Draco, who shook his head. So nothing wrong so far: he was still coldly polite as he was last year. They could only wait.

"Hey, look, we have Potions first with the Gryffindors. Then I have Defense…" Draco groaned. "You are so lucky you don't have to take Defense!"

"Yeah," Harry said, smirking. "You can have fun."

As they walked towards the Potions classroom, Draco asked Harry in a low voice, "So, are you going to tell the Four during DADA?"

"Yeah," Harry muttered back. "They'll find the dragon really interesting too."

They stood at the entrance to the potions classroom, waiting for Professor Snape to arrive. Hermione and Ron arrived a few minutes later. "Harry, Draco!"

The two turned and greeted their friends. "Hey, Hermione, Ron!" Draco said, smiling. He grimaced, "I have DADA after this… What about you guys?"

"Hah! We don't have him until Thursday!" Ron said gleefully.

Hermione on the other hand looked downcast, "You're so lucky, Draco… I really wanted to have him today!"

The three boys just blinked at her, and then went back to bashing Lockhart.

"Look what we have here," a voice sneered behind them.

They turned around to face a group of Slytherins that consisted of Theodore Nott, Pansy Parkinson, Daphne Greengrass, Steven Jetter and Nicholas Hawker. Harry raised an eyebrow, "Yes?"

"That mudblood slut really is insatiable, isn't she? Also looking to take Professor Lockhart, huh?" Pansy Parkinson taunted, eyes cold and insulting.

One year ago Hermione would have run off in tears, humiliated and hurt. But she wasn't the same person as she was one year ago. Now, she smirked, eyes hardening, "Really, Parkinson? Are you sure you should be calling me that? Maybe you should take a look at yourself first."

Pansy's face colored and she spat out, "Shut it, mudblood!"

Harry emerged from the group, standing slightly in front of Hermione, as if protecting her, "What do you want? Besides insulting my friends of course." Tendrils of frozen air swirled around him, temperature dropping significantly.

Either he didn't notice, or didn't care, Theodore stepped forward, and sneered coldly, "The four of you should know your places. Especially you, Draco. To hang around such lowlifes, disgraceful for one of your status."

Draco raised an eyebrow, "Who are you to tell me what to do? I don't think they're lowlifes. I think they're pretty good company."

Theodore looked at him with hard eyes, "Dirtying the Slytherin name and the pureblood name will bring heavy repercussions. Keep that in mind." He turned away from them, directing his attention towards his lackeys.

Harry narrowed his eyes at him, "There's definitely something wrong."

Draco nodded, "Yeah. But don't worry, none of us are helpless or powerless."

"But try not to show your Earthland magic," Harry warned them. "First, Professor Dumbledore wouldn't be too happy. Secondly, it'd be better if less people knew that people other than me could use wandless magic."

The other three nodded. Draco grimaced, "But if the situation calls for it, your own safety is more important."

Harry agreed, "Yeah. If you really have to use it, use it."

After Potions, Harry bid his friends goodbye as he left for the Sanctuary. "Professor Slytherin! Professor Ravenclaw! Helga, Godric, I'm back!"

"Ah good," Godric said huffily. "It was getting boring with just snake-eyes as male company."

Slytherin glared at him, retorting hotly, "It was frustrating with just a brawns and no brains idiot for male company!"

Ravenclaw rolled her eyes in fond exasperation, and Helga laughed softly. "So how was your summer, Harry?"

Harry's eyes lit up, stepping onto the center of the room, and sitting down on the fluffy rug. "I have so much to tell you guys!"
