AN: Sorry it's been such a really long time. I was really upset for awhile because I got a lot of bed reviews because of grammar and people just saying the story was awful. But I reread the story and its really not that bad. I would love if someone could beta for me, because I've admitted before I am not the greatest with grammar. Let me know if interested! On with the story.

Chapter 12

Jace-

Jace sat in back room alone. He was sitting in a rolling chair and he kept rolling back and forth slowly. He had just told Alec about what really happened when he was with Jonathan. The dark haired boy said he didn't blame him, but Jace could see the look on his face and he knew his parabatai was judging him a little. There was a sound at the door and Jace turned and looked as Magnus and Alec walk into the room.

"Alec said you wanted to see me?" The cat eyed warlock said to the blond boy. Jace nodded as Magnus and Alec sat down.

"I need to know if there is anyway I can talk to Clary, I need to give her hope and let her know I am still looking for her. It's been a long time, she must be in a lot of pain." Jace asked hopefully, he needed to make sure Clary still knew he was out looking and hadn't given up hope on finding her. Magnus and Alec exchanged a look, Jace didn't like it.

"I don't know Jace, it could be dangerous, I don't want Jonathan to know we know where he is." Alec said, Jace realized that it wasn't a no so he shook his head.

"I know its dangerous, but what if she does something drastic to herself because she can't take it anymore? I need her to know we are all looking for her." Jace said quickly and he could see the pity look on Magnus's face, and he realized that Alec must have told him what happened.

"I might be able to do something." Magnus started saying, but held up his hand to stop Jace who was about to start speaking again.

"I already know how to break down the wards around his place. Jonathan doesn't realize that I am one of the most powerful warlocks, and I have lots of friends who can help me. His force field is strong, but I've gotten threw strong. Whats holding us up right now is trying to figure out how he is invincible. If we break down his wards, and we don't know how to stop him then he either kills all of us, or gets away and starts killing everyone else. So we need to do more research, I don't want this to ruin our plans, okay Jace?" Jace nodded, he wold do anything as long as he could talk to Clary.

"Okay once night falls we will put our plan into action, your going to get to talk to Clary but it will be in her dreams, and its up to her to decided to believe her dreams or not. I am sorry Jace its the best I can do right now." Jace wanted to protest, and fight and get a better way to talk to Clary then threw a dream, but he decided it wasn't worth spooking Jonathan and have him running with Clary and having to start the search for them all over again. He nodded at Magnus who then stood up and started to leave the room, but he stopped at the door and turned and looked at Jace.

"Get some sleep, this spell can be a bit draining and if you want to seem more solid in her dream you need have more energy." With that the warlock turned and left the room. Alec stood a moment later, he stood awkwardly but his chair, his hands on the back of it.

"Jace I want you to know I love you and I really don't judge you for what happened. I honestly feel really bad for you and Clary. I know you love her and would never hurt her on purpose. I hope we can figure out how Jonathan is invincible soon because I just want him dead already. He's killed my brother, my mother and hes taken something from both you and Clary." Alec coughs at the end, suppressing the urge to just break down.

"I know." Jace said but he can't seem to bring himself to look at his parabatai, he was just too ashamed.

"Get some rest, there is some bedrooms in the back. I'll come get you when its time." Alec then leaves the room as well, leaving Jace to his thoughts.

-Clary

Clary was sitting in a park, the park by her old house. She looked around wondering how she got there, it was a bit foggy and dark but it wasn't cold. That surprised her, she looked around again when she heard a noise behind her. She sucked in a breath when she saw Jace coming towards her. He was thinner then she remembered last seeing him, his eyes were a little harder but his smile was the same.

"Jace!" She breathed loudly then started a full sprint at him, she wondered mid run if she was in heaven and he was greeting her. She hoped because she never wanted to leave his arms again, she thought as they collided in the middle. Her arms were wrapped tightly around his neck, his arms were around her waist and they were just standing there both crying.

"Is this Heaven?" Clary asked in his chest, she breathed in deeply and smiled realizing he smelled just like she remember. Jace stiffened suddenly and pulled from her a little looking down into her face, he seemed like he was trying to read something from her eyes.

"No this is not Heaven, Clary I am not dead. I don't know what Jonathan has told you but I am alive. I am here to tell you that I am going to find you and I need you to stay strong. We are so close Clary, I promise. Can you stay strong for a little longer?" Clary was confused, he wasn't dead?

"I don't know if I can Jace, its really hard. He's so mean, and he hurts me and I just want to be with you." Clary said, her eyes watering. This was some kind of mean tease, getting to see Jace but not being able to stay with him. Jace leaned down and peppered her face with kisses.

"I know its hard, but I know your incredibly strong and I know you can hold out a little longer. Nothing can keep me from finding you Clary. I promise on everything that is holy that it wont be that much longer. I just need to hear you promise me that you'll hold on." Clary clutched Jace tighter and then suddenly there was another voice.

"Jace, you need to come back now." The voice sounded like Magnus and Clary was even more confused, what was going on.

"Promise me Clary!" Jace shouted as he started fading from her arms.

"I promise." She whispered, and then he was gone. She couldn't even be sure he had hear her. Suddenly there was another noise and she was shaken awake.

"Wake up beautiful." She sucked in a breath as her eyes popped open and she was staring into the eyes on Jonathan. Her stomach turned and she leaped out of bed, pushing past him to rush to the toilet. She made it just in time to dry heave into the white bowl. Jonathan was suddenly behind her rubbing her back.

"Well I was going to say breakfast is ready, but seems like your might not be in the mood." Jonathan said as Clary finished throwing up. She sat down shakily and looked at the blue rug, her dream felt so real. It was the realist thing she felt in a long time. She didn't know if she could believe her dream or not, she did hear Magnus's voice and she knew he could do something like put someone in her dream. She was so afraid to let herself believe Jace and everyone else was alive, she didn't know how that could be true when Jonathan had literately thrown Jace's head at her. Clary wanted more time to think about how it felt to be in Jace's arms again but Jonathan was suddenly pulling her up and trying to get her back into the bedroom.

"Come on Clary, you need more rest. We don't want you losing this baby as well now do we?" He asked in hard voice and Clary went back to feeling numb, the dream tucked into the back of her mind to think about later.
