Okay so here's the chapter. Like I mentioned in chapter 7 (The Secret) I'm not perfect with fighting scenes. I apologize if it seems bad and/or awkward.
Chapter 11: Snap Out of it.
"Kill them." Ganondorf ordered.
"No!" Marth gasped.
Pit pulled out his blade, cocked his wings, and bolted toward them. Marth flinched and evaded Pit's attack.
"Pit snap out of it." Marth begged. "It's me, Marth."
Pit, as though deaf, ignored his plea and continued attacking. Marth just avoided his attacks, not wanting to hurt his friend. Bowser, on the other hand, jumped in and went to punch Pit, only for the angel to dodge it. While all of this was going on, Ganondorf sat by laughing.
Several minutes went by, and Marth still couldn't get through to his friend. Bowser managed to land a few hits, only for the angel to knock him over. Eventually Marth came up with a plan.
"Bowser, stall him!" Marth yelled. "I've got an idea." Bowser nodded and took a turn at Battle Pit Royale. This caught Ganondorf's attention. His expression got a bit more serious.
Bowser did what he could. He clawed at Pit, who either dodged them, blocked them, or in one or two cases took the hit. Marth on the other hand, tried to find a way to sneak attack and grab Pit, to force the angel to listen. He was waiting for the right moment to strike.
After a few minutes, Pit knocked Bowser down hard enough to make Bowser stay down.
"Good job Pit." Ganondorf, who was now standing praised while clapping. "Now take away his fire."
"Yes Master." Pit replied with a monotone voice. He started to walk towards the Koopa King. His hand was glowing purple. Bowser seemed intimidated.
"No!" Marth yelled, tackling Pit. He wrestled Pit to the ground, pinning the angel down. Pit was trying to squirm away. "Listen to me." Pit kneed the prince in the stomach, causing him to flinch. Pit got up and started to head towards Bowser. But before getting out of arm's reach, Marth grabbed his ankle and pulled him down.
Marth pulled him towards him until he was able to grab his friend's arms and pin them against his back. The struggle began again.
"Snap out of it Pit." Marth pleaded. "Please I know you're in there. The Pit I know wouldn't give up so easily. I know you can't control this, but you've got to fight it." This made Pit stop. "You know I'm right. I know you still have hope."
Something seemed to change in the impressionable, mind controlled angel. Pit curled up into a ball shape. He started to shake. Then suddenly, a light surrounded Pit and burst out around him. I blinded Marth, who moved off of him.
The transformation took as long as it took for Pit to succumb to his curse. When the light dimmed, Marth saw him back to his former glory.
"Pit you're back." Marth sighed. Pit said nothing. Instead, he gave him a thankful hug.
"Thank you." Pit whispered.
"You're welcome buddy." They broke their hug.
Suddenly, a punch hit Marth, sending him flying. Ganondorf was its master. Pit stood there in shock. Then, Ganondorf grabbed Pit's neck and lifted him off his feet.
Sorry if this chapter seemed rushed. I didn't want to prolong the fight sense I know I need to work on them. And when it said Marth didn't want to harm his friend, I meant as an enemy. If they were having a Brawl it would be different. I also wasn't trying to make Pit overpowered. Pit is a lighter and smaller character than Bowser so I figure he would be a little quicker when they were fighting.
Now that I explained that I have other news. This story is almost done. I have the next two chapters and the Epilogue done. I will be posting them at my own rate. I want you (the readers) to know this. The last few chapters may be shorter (they may not be entirely correct wordwise, but they seem that way to me).
