Chapter 12 ?
Unbreakable Heart
Sorrow
Anger
Heart-Broke
Love
From what I've noticed people usually don't read this notes, I write them anyway, but this I need to write which is why it's up here. There's a special part in this chapter which is about them leaving the campsite, now the problem with this small little piece of the chapter is that for a few sentences it sucks. But I can't fix it. I felt like I needed to warn about that so here ya go. It's really bad and I hate the part cause it feels to rushed but I've got major writer block there and there's nothing I can do about it.
O.o.O.o.O.o.O.o.O.o.O.o.O
The water. Who in their right mind would run towards something they were afraid of? Thou when it came to Yami Yugi wasn't sure he could use the word ´right mind´ since, well he wasn't exactly right in the head. Not that it bothered Yugi however, he was scared for the other. Yami obviously didn't understand the different signs his body screamed out, if he had then he would've never had walked out into the water, alone, like he had done. It was no wonder his body had given up under him, he didn't even realize how terrified he was.
"Yami!" It was useless, he didn't listen. But why? What happened, he seemed so calm and then he burst out of the opening of the tent, running with all his might back in the same direction they had just walked. Why was he running back to something that had almost killed him, two times!? For Yugi it didn't make any sense.
But he guessed that was to be expected, after all Yami himself didn't make sense he always did weird stuff, but wasn't that what made him so special?
"Yami." His voice was much softer this time. "What-What are you doing?" Finally he found him, he got really scared there for a second. Not only had Yami been running towards the water Yugi had also realized that the other could be really fast if he wanted to and had quickly lost sight of the other. He guessed he should be a little happy about the fact that Yami had been running in a direction he already knew, if he hadn't, Yugi wasn't so sure he would've been able to find him.
With heavy breathing sat Yugi down beside the other and looked down, his eyes instantly landing on the shiny object that was cradled in Yami's hands. The puzzle. Amethyst eyes widened in realization and he suddenly felt like hitting himself on the head. How could he had forgo ten about the necklace? Of course had his mind been on different things at the time, such as making sure Yami was fine but still, Yugi couldn't help but feel guilty as he looked at the happy expression on Yamis face.
That a piece of jewelry could mean so much. I wonder why. You thought as he put a hand on the others shoulder, making him look up and as they locked gazes Yugi smiled.
"Let's go back, I'm sure the others are worried, you created quite the scene you know." He said as he smiled more at the small blush that covered Yamis cheek. Thou he was sure the other didn't even notice.
"Sorry." Yami said as he stood up with the help of Yugi, putting the puzzle around his neck before following the shorter teen back to the camp.
"Don't worry about it, just, if this ever happens again please just tell me and we go back together alright? You really scared me." Yami nodded, looking down at the ground and Yugi's smile grew. "Don't look so down. Come on, I'm sure the food is done!" Yami smiled at that.
When the two teens came back to the camp where they attack by various questions from the others, asking them of what happened, if they were alright and where they'd been. Yugi answered them all as Yami stood behind him, holding the puzzle in his hands while again looking down at the ground.
He couldn't help but feel bad. He didn't mean to worry everyone, he just got so scared. Without the necklace he felt lost, empty. It filled his sense with some kind of comfort when it was around his neck now when it wasn't, he hadn't been able to think. He wasn't sure what this all meant, or what it really was he felt but he knew it was good and that he didn't want to lose it. The puzzle had been in his dreams that meant it much mean something to him, or that's what he thought as in the dreams he had protected it.
After Yugi had explained and promised everyone that both he and Yami was fine, the six friends sat down to eat. Everyone but Yami talked enthusiastically with each other, however this wasn't something Yugi worried about since he always acted this way whenever they ate. Either he didn't like to talk while eating or he just couldn't find the right words before the topic managed to change into something entirely different.
After taking care of all the dishes the group of friends decided to do something a little less dangerous and so they all walked out into the forest. While they walked they made sure they always knew their way back, but they also explained what everything was to Yami, well Serenity did. She was the one who knew best about the various plants and animals that lived in the forest. The other sometimes made a small comment but it was mostly Serenity who told Yami about the different wonders of the nature, as she liked to call it.
All in all the day turned out good and Yami was more then happy when they got back to the tents where he quickly learned that marshmallows can burn if you don't move them away from the fire.
It had been Ryou who had noticed that he hadn't moved his stick yet and so he pointed it out. At the words Yami had moved his stick up before blinking in confusion as the once white fluffy piece had melted and slowly dripped down into the red flames of their campfire. The others screamed as the stick continued to burn, moving closer and closer towards Yamis vulnerable hand.
In the end it had been Joey who had took the burning thing out of Yamis hand and thrown it into the fire, where Yami had watched in amazement as the stick burned up together with the white fluffy candy. Yugi had only shacked his head as he then gave Yami his own marshmallow before taking a new one to himself. He to admit, having Yami with them did make things more interesting, but he also more dangerous. He would be shocked if they all managed to get home without a single scratch after this trip.
"You have to be more careful Yami. The fire burns." Yugi said as he looked over at Yami, but the other didn't even seem to hear him. The marshmallow was still in his hand but he didn't seem to notice as his gaze was locked with the flames.
The fire burns, everything? Slowly Yami opened his eyes and, without looking away he asked "Everything?"
"Yes, everything. Animals, plants, houses, humans. The fire can burn anything. But that doesn't mean it's bad," Yugi said as Yami finally turned his head to look at the shorter teen. "It's used to warm us or to help us make food, and so much more. The world wouldn't be as good as it is without fire." He continued and Yami blinked at him before looking down at the white thing Yugi had given him. He took a bite from it and smiled.
The next day wasn't as eventful as the first, but they still had fun. After they woke up they had about four hours before Yugi's grandpa would come and pick them up, which meant they had about three hours of fun before having to pack all their stuff.
Under these few hours had the friends decided to split up. Tea, Serenity and Ryou wanted to take one more walk in the nature before having to go back to the city. Joey and Yugi wanted to do something more fun so they went back to the water, Yami came with them however he didn't go in. Not only because of the reason that Yugi forbid him to, but also because he felt like being alone. So instead he sat on a branch, his eyes trained on the puzzle as he stared. Nothing more, his mind was blank as his eyes glazed over the pendant.
Before they all knew it were they back at the camp, packing everything up before sitting down at the grass to wait for Yugi's grandpa to come and pick them up. Unfortunately were their planes ruined when Yugi's cellphone rang. His grandpa's car had been punctured and so he had to stop and get it fixed, this meant it would be about one more hour before he could come and pick them up, which the friends wasn't to happy about as they knew they couldn't stay in the forest for that long. The camping site they currently were at had a limited time and when that time went out they had to leave.
After a few minutes of arguing they all decided to split up the stuff between them. They would carry it all until Yugi's grandpa came and picked them up. However only five of them were carrying, since they didn't trust Yami not to hurt himself.
Now this wasn't the best of plans and they were all well aware of this fact, but neither of them felt like paying hundreds of extra dollars just cause the car they were supposed to take broke down, nor did they feel like sitting in boredom while they waited.
"Why's it so hot!"
"Because the sun is out." Tea answered as she rolled her eyes. It wasn't that hot, he was just being weak. Sighing she looked over her shoulder, watching Yami as he pointed at various plants, trash and other things that he found interesting, asking what they were. She moved her gaze and giggled as she watched the obvious smile on Yugi's lips as he gladly explained everything to the other.
"No that's not really what I'm trying to say," Yugi said slowly and Tea smiled before turning her eyes back to the road.
"How much longer do yo think it's gonna take?"
"I'm not sure. We've been walking for about," Ryou looked down at the clock on his wrist before letting out a heavy sigh. "Half an hour."
"I'm guessing he's probably finished about now. Which would mean it would be another forty minutes before he can get here. Maybe a little bit more." Serenity said and the minutes she stopped talking Yugi's phone rang.
Digging around on his pants Yugi felt himself getting frustrated as he couldn't find the phone, before it was suddenly right in front of him. Blinking he looked up at Yami, who pointed at his own pockets and Yugis eyes widened before he mentally smacked himself. He gave it to Yami so it would be easier to get it. Idiot. He thought before saying a quick thank you and taking the phone.
"Hello? ah hey Grandpa!" By the time the words grandpa had left Yugi's mouth had everyone stopped and were now looking eagerly at the smaller teen. Hoping that the old man called with good news, and when they saw the smile on Yugi's lips grow they all felt relief flood down their bodies.
Yugi said a few more words to his grandpa before hanging up the phone, he looked up at the others and with great excitement he said that his grandpa was done, they only had to walk for about twenty more minutes.
"Thank the heavens, my back is really starting to hurt." Joey said with a sigh as he turned around and looked back at the road in front of them. "Come on, lets go! The faster we are the faster we can get these things of."
The others agreed happily and was about to start walking, when Yugi suddenly felt a strong grip around his wrist and looked to his left where he saw Yami. His eyes were locked on something in front of them and, with great reluctance, Yugi followed his gaze.

This chapter didn't really end where I was planning. You see it was supposed to continue here but, I felt that this one was long enough and I rather add one more chapter then I was thinking then making an eight pages long chapter. Now this one is only five, but I was thinking quite far ahead.
I'm not sure about the chapter name yet, so for now, this is what it's gonna be.
Bye Bye then
